Red LED Light Remains On

The battery is fully charged and disconnected from charger. When hibernating, the red LED light constantly remains on. When the phone is being used, the red LED light does not appear.
What is wrong? How can this be fixed? Thanks much for help.

I'm a total newbie to smartphones. Based on your question, I cleared all the Notifications and the red LED disappeared. Then sent myself an email to test the blue LED light and it is now blinking. So, the problem might be solved but don;t know why the red LED constantly displayed after charging the battering to 100%.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB):
With the battery inside, connect your BB to the wall charger
Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
Remove the battery
Wait 15 minutes
Insert the battery
Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
This has been known to "kick start" some BBs.
It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:
Obtain an known good and already fully charged additional battery...use it in your BB and see what happens
Obtain access to a known good and identical BB...use your battery in it and see what happens
The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem.
If the problem is revealed via the above tests to be your BB, then I recommend that you attempt to boot into Safe Mode:

It may take you multiple attempts to get the ESC key sequence (press/release/hold) correct, so be patient. When successfully into Safe Mode, see what happens.
If the behavior ceases, then think carefully...what happened just before this behavior started? A new app? An update? A Theme? Something else? Think carefully as the smallest change could be causal...and attempt to undo whatever that was.
But if the behavior continues in Safe Mode, then you may need to consider more drastic actions -- WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload, and the "Bare Bones" OS Reload Process. To prepare, you should be sure that you have a full backup to your PC...please review the Backup link in my auto-sig on this post for instructions.

Turn red LED light off

Is there an option or registry edit that will turn off the red led light that dots the "i" in ThinkPad on the top of the laptop? I have a SL500.

Red Led Light

Hi, I have bought this laptop which is fairly new, just under a year. Although now, there is an red Led light on the side of my laptop when I plug in my Ac Adaptor to charge the battery and it is not going. The Led Light was always a bright white light but now it just stays red and I dont know why? Is there a problem with my laptop? because it is working fine. I dont know how to solve the red led light or what it means. I hope I can get some information about this. Thank You.

Did you try starting the Mac back up after installing the RAM and before installing the card? Many times a PMU reset is needed after RAM is installed.
Which model of Rocket Raid card are you installing?

FN+F11 turns volume on/off, but LED light remains red

Pressing the function key FN+F11 switches volume on/off, BUT the LED light is always on and red.
Pressing the function key FN+F12 switches wireless on/off, AND the LED light switches red/white accordingly.
Any suggestions for a fix? Alternatively is there a trick to disable the lights altogether?

HELP! BB Pearl 8130. Solid Red Led Light. Won't go away.. HELP!

My LED has turned a solid Red color. It's on all the time and is only off when I pull the battery out. My phone does still charge. I've done everything to get rid of it even wiping my blackberry and upgrading the software. I read something about Blackberry Music Gateway? I do use my pearl to listen to Pandora everyday and iheart radio with a 3.5 cable that plugs into the dash of my truck, but it never did this before. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Mysterious red LED light inside my G4

Could someone tell me what the red light means on the inside of my G4?
It can't be seen from the outside.
I am having a problem with my firewire ports not working. Is this a warning or alert of some kind?
Help! I really looked and can't find this info anywhere!

From the G4 Service Manual:
Logic Board LEDs: Power Mac G4 (AGP Graphics)
There is one red LED on the Power Mac G4 (AGP Graphics) logic
board. It indicates that there is power to the board and does not imply a fault condition. Hardware such as DIMMs and PCI cards should not be installed or removed when the LED is on.

4 Red Led Lights - Please help

the other day I left my computer on for a few hours and when I came home and moved the mouse it wouldn't come out of standby. To get it to shut off, I had to hold the power button down. Now when I start it, the fans start spinning, the DVD drive spins for a second and a few times the orange light on the monitor turned green. But after about 10 seconds, it shuts down.
I have the 4 red lights on the LED, so I swapped in a new PS - Enermax 550W with 36A on the 12v. Still same thing. So I'm guessing either the CPU or the board. I built this about 6 months ago. It's not overclocked and it was idle during the time I left it. Any suggestions?

Yes and no. I know that is confussing. However go to this first as you may have had a problem right along and did not know it nor would you without testing. Memtest86 is a great way to test memory. The no part is that it could be something else. But hey you have to start somewhere.
As for the timings in RAM you need to go to Corsairs page and check the exact model on their charts. Also be sure to read any side notes as they may have specific timings for your A64 versus other CPU's. It can be different as the memory controller is on the CPU in our case instead of on the MB.
Corsair also has tech support that can walk you through memory timings if you don't follow them at all.
You can also have some other thing in the system that went bad even as simple as a HDD cable that came loose. To troubleshoot sometimes the easiest way to find out is to unplug anything that is not needed to boot.
But start with the memory as the 4 Red LED's indicate.

Playbook will not charge, no red LED light

The Battery charge said 3%. I turned off the playbook and plugged it in and left it to charge with the LED lights showing. I went to retrieve it, only to find out it's not turning on. No red light appeared. nothing. I went and plugged it in and then tried turning it on Nothing.No red light...just dead. PS: I just got the Playbook from relative without the manual and all so i'm not sure about the DO's and DON"T's of using the tablet. Please help!!! Thanks in Advance.

Try this:
Connect the charger that came with the PlayBook and plug it into the wall. Hold down the Power Button only for 20 seconds. Leave it for 4 minutes, then unplug at the wall, wait a minute, plug it back in again, hold down the Power Button only for 20 seconds.
Repeat this process about 10 times and hopefully, your PlayBook should go into a high charging rate. Leave it plugged in overnight and you should have a full charge by morning.

BlackBerry Curve 9380 will not power ON and the red LED light is flashing

I need you guy's help. I was charging my BlackBerry Curve 9380 this morning. When I was about to use it the found out that the screen will not light up but the red led indicator is blinking one long blink, one ong blink then a full stop. I have already tried removing the battery and sim card for sometime but to no avail. What should I do?!

Sony Xperia M2 flashing Red LED light and wont turn on.

Okay so i have been having this problem for about a week.I tried turning on my phone the other day but it wasnt doing that so i thought maybe it ran out of battery then i let i charge for a couple of hours and left it untouched.When i came back my phone was flashing a red light and the sony logo would apear and my phone would vibrate but then it would shut down again.This has been happening for all week i let it charge overnight but still the same thing happens flashing red and vibrating.Sometimes the light dosent flash and i can turn my phone on for a while but i never know when it could randomly shut down.i tried using the Pc companion program to try and fix it but my phone wont stay on for long enough for it to be able to do that.Any tips on what i could do ? the last thing i wanna do right now is call sony so please if you know any possible way of fixing this let me know

Have you tried to power on the phone without SIM- and/or SD-card to see if this can help? Otherwise, a software repair via PC Companion would be recommeded:

In PC Companion you press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phone/tablet software > Repair phone/tablet (the blue clickable link in the message) > Follow these steps without having your device connected to the PC.
Follow the instruction that appears in the program and do not connect your device until this guide tells you how to connect it. When you are going to connect the phone, the phone should be completely off. Hold the ON/OFF button + volume up(+) for 10 seconds.

Aironet 1242 seems dead - just a light red led status

For an Aironet 1242 who's no more covered with a SMARTnet contract.
Symptoms are the same whatever power-injector, power supply or via PoE switch.
Just one led.
A permanent red led (light red) on the status, nothing else.
No reaction on the console port.
Is that device dead ?

Memory Dimm1 Red LED

hi, i have a mac pro quad 2009, today i found out that the RED LED lights on dimm slot 1 on the processor tray. and sys. profiler shows that the slot is not populated as 3 x 1GB of the ram is apple shipped stock ram. and i tried to swap the ram at the 1st slot to one another it still remain the same problem. What else i can do other than send to Apple service center?

There is another post on these forums about a red LED. The answer was that it indicated an improperly seated module. A vacant slot should not give such a warning (proviso). As delivered my device had several unpopulated slots. The problem you have may be that slot 1 specifically has no RAM. I suggest you buy another 1GB of RAM and install a total of four modules. put them in slots A1 and A2, and in B1 and B2.
As long as all the modules are of the same technical specification and that is the correct spec for your machine, then they should work.
Best advice is to use two pairs of same make but different makers will work provided they are same spec etc. If you have different makes put same makes together in any pair.
The other thing to be sure of is the seating per se. That seems to be a slot A1(?) issue in your case so you could test it by switching known good modules between the slots to test the slots. Remember to get the thing to work you should have a functioning configuration of modules.

After falling red led for 3 seconds then dead

after falling on the floor my blackberry 8800 will not start anymore..
When I insert battery or charger cable the red led lights up for 3 seconds then turns back off but the device is dead...it the anything I can do?
Iv found other topic's talking about red flashing light and firmware reload, is this the same thing?

You can try to reload your operating system but most likely all your data will be lost.
You can try to see if the device will connect to the BlackBerry Desktop Manager to back up data, but there is no guarantee it will be able to do so.
You can consult article KB11320 for instructions on how to do the load.
