RED light in Output determination in VA02 for Custom SAP Script

Hi,
Am trying to get Order Acknowledgement output from VA02 as a preview. We have custom Script, custom print prog. So, I went to VA02>Extras>Output>Header>Output.....but, here am seeing the associated OUTPUT TYPE ZB00 as RED light!!
So, pls. let me know that,
1 - Why am gettign RED light? Wht culd b the reasons?
2 - How to fix it to get it GREEN?

Hi,
Did you try debugging the print program? Also check the output determination analysis.
Follow below path. Once you are in outputs edit screen...
Select your output, menu=>Goto=>Determination analysis(or ctrl+f1).
Here you can see what went right and wrong for all the outputs allowed for that order. You can see there might be some routines which has not been satidfied. Check this analysis for your output and see what is wrong.
Condition records might also be missing. Check with your functional for this.

Ipod shuffle 4th generation device not shown on itunes, not charging. Seeing red light when connecting to USB charger for a few seconds, then nothing. How to fix this?

My ipod shuffle 4th generation was working fine for a few months. My son then bit the USB charger. I bought a new USB charger, but the shuffle is not charging and not showing up under the devices in itunes. It also doesn't appear in my windows under my computer. Just to note. I also have a new ipod touch. I am able to charge that fine on the same computer using the USB charger. The device (Ipod touch) does show up in windows and in itunes. The shuffle doesn't show in either place.
I have tried to use the apple support page. I went through each step. I made all of my USB drives not shut down, I had my computer on all night to try and charge the shuffle. All I see is a red light that appears on the shuffle for a few seconds when I first connect the USB charger to the computer. Then, nothing. Since this was working a bit ago, I don't think that I have a defective shuffle. The USB charger is brand new, I just picked it up yesterday from the apple store. I have the short one, and the longer cable as well.
Any help that you might be able to give to me would be much appreciated. My daughter is missing listening to her music. Thanks!

Instead of "charger," you should call it the "USB cable" to avoid confusion. When started reading your post, I was thinking, how can your son break a USB power adapter (the "charger" that plugs into a wall socket) by biting it...
Since you got the product with the two USB cables at the Apple Store, you have the right replacement (some third-party replacements are for the 2nd gen shuffle and do not work with the 4th gen shuffle). Make sure you are completely inserting the plug into the headphones jack. The fit may be tighter than expected, since the connectors are new.

If you tried both of those cables, it would be unlikely that you got two faulty cables in one package. If a new USB device has been added to the computer between the time it worked with the old cable and now, there could be a problem on the USB bus (such as not enough power or a device conflict).
As a test, you should shut down (power off) the computer and disconnect all USB devices (including any hub), except for standard keyboard and mouse (if used). Do this to reset the shuffle

Start up computer, run iTunes, and connect the shuffle by itself to a direct USB port on the computer.

1. Maintain the Printer Name in SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Printer Setting
2. Ensured in SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Item Print Indicator, 1 stands for Matl Doc print out
3. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Print Version, maintain Print Version 2
4. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Maintain Print Indicator for GI/Transfer Posting Documents
5. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Output Determination->Maintain Output Types, for the Output types WE01, WE02 and WE03, ensure the foll:

8. While doing MIGO, ensured that in General Tab, you get "3 Collective Slip" beside the Print Indicator and you tick mark the field.
Now go to MB90 entered the output type as WE01, Tr m as 1, Sort or. 01, Pro.mode as 01, and executed. Sytem outputted all the material documents that has to be taken print out.

No function module is there..
But go to T-code..Smartforms and in the menubar..
Utilities-->Migration->Import SApScript Form.
U can thus migrate SAPScipt to smartforms...
How ever a lot of changes have to be done in the migrated one,,

Red Light in Output Message for Print

Hello.
When I create an Output Message to Print a Purchase Order, a red light appears in the status column.
Then when a I click over, the system said " No Analysis Log exist".
Does anyone know what turns this on?

Hi,
Check following options:
Option:1-->Are you using two output type of Purchase order Print( one is default output type & one you are entering manually).
Check your entry of print operation ( 1 or 2) for your PO output type manually in following path:
SPRO>MM>Purchasing>Message>Output control>Message type> Define message type for Purchase Order-->Fine-Tuned Control: Purchase Order
Option:2-->Have look on dispatch time ( 1 or 2 or 3 or 4) set for output type in NACE t.code
Option:3--> In NACE t.code for output type, check CannotBeChanged check box selected or not in default tab.

what do i need to do?

A toothpick.
Get a toothpick and wiggle it around in the audio out port until you 'flip' the switch for optical/digital out. The red light should go off and you should be able to select your internal speakers again for output.
Seriously. It's worked for hundreds of people.

Output Determination Procedure ME0001 for Material Movements

Output determination procedure ME0001 is used for inventory management output. I know where it is maintained. Where is this assigned in the IMG? I can not find the assignment and am starting to think everyone has to use ME0001.

Found some SAP documentation on MM output management.
ME0001 "is a program constant and cannot be changed by the customer.". New custom output types can be added to ME0001, but a custom procedure cannot be used.

Output Determination using Requirement for Shipment

I created a new output requirement, 909, to handle two different formats for shipment bills of lading. The new requirement prevents a NAST record for format B from being created if a NAST record for format A exists. It works in the development environment and was transported to the QA environment. It does not work in the QA environment. It appears the requirement is not being check. Output determination procedure, access sequence, and output types are the same. The condition records created via VV73 are the same. What could cause a requirement to not be used? Thanks for your help.

Output determination in SNC for order confirmation

e want to use output determination to update SNC replenishment order when changes are done in R/3 sales order. We are not using new doc type. So no option left but to use 'Created by' as an option to trigger an output determination but it's not working as dezired. What could be best to use for output detrmination.

for each sales doc type a partner determination procedure is assgined under Partner Determination Procedure Assignment node
Under Partner Functions, can you try using partner type as customer or logical system instead of user???
and assign teh same partner type to ur Partner Determination Procedures under Partner Functions in Procedure node
And try to check,

Enhancement for J_1IEWT_CERT sap script form.

In T- Code J1INCERT ie TDS Certificate Print used SAP Script Form J_1IEWT_CERT. i want to do enhancement in out put of first page. A certificate is generated in preview mode with 2 lines for same challan number. In the new enhancement form a single line should be printed for the same challan number. and amount should be added. in same. hence pl advice, how to go head.

More than one print program for one sap script

Hi Experts,
I have more than one print program which is attached to one sap script. There is standard text used in the script which has variable as date, i want that date to be converted into the previous date but only for one specific print program. For rest of the print program it should behave as it is.
I have tried it using ( s_date - 1 ) formula and it is working fine. But the variable s_date is used in other parts of the program which is affecting rest of the functionality when i am using above said formula. I can't use other variable in standard text as it is used by other programs.
Please guide me to resolve this, thanks in advance.

Well, I'm not sure if I understand the scenario 100%, but I think what you have is a standard text (that you cannot change) referring to variable &S_DATE&. You want this to display the previous day's date when the form is used by one print program but not when it's called by another.
Also, you don't want to change S_DATE to S_DATE - 1 for the whole printout, because apart from the text display, S_DATE is used elsewhere and you want to keep the date as S_DATE, not the previous day.
I assume that you can change the coding of the form.
If all of the above is correct, then you could change the value for S_DATE in the form to the previous day just before it calls the standard text and change it back after the output of the text is done. So right befor the INCLUDE for the standard text, you could use an IF statement in the form logic, query the value of SY-REPID (or SY-CPROG). You'll have to test which one shows the print program name. Depending on that, you can do S_DATE = S_DATE - 1 and after the INCLUDE, do the same thing and change it back to S_DATE = S_DATE + 1.
But honestly, this is a pretty shady programming technique... I mean, hard coding references to the print program name in the form logic is certainly not a very clean method

SAP Cloud for Customer & SAP ECC/CRM OnPremise integration using WebServices!

I would like to ask if anyone has really created a working integration scenario between a Cloud Solution & an ECC/CRM OnPremise solution?
We are trying to build some prototypes for this, however, due to connectivity errors/issues, unable to proceed.
I'm looking for information on:
> What certificates precisely are needed on both Cloud & OnPrem systems?
> What configuration if any is required on Cloud & OnPrem solution, except for communication system/arrangements on Cloud solution?
> Any use case if available from anyone which can demo integration between Cloud solution & ECC/CRM OnPremise solution.
I'd really appreciate responses on this.

Just to give you our background...we are SAP Cloud Partners & VARs, hence we are building few prototypes for Customer Demos & POC.
Per my understanding, its just one of the OnPrem system, either an ECC OnPrem or CRM OnPrem that you can integrate with one C4C tenant at a time, i.e. to one single tenant. In our case, we are trying to integrate ECC OnPrem with C4C system.
We are in the process of deploying SAP PI as the middleware platform for integration between C4C & ECC/CRM OnPrem., which is going to take few more weeks.
SAP HCI will be the other approach, but we are currently not familiar with that, hence we have a trial to start in coming week for SAP HCI, so this is going to take some time as well.
Hence, WebService is the only currently available option for us to build these prototypes, POC for Customer Demos, to show working integration scenarios between ECC OnPrem & C4C system.
We have been facing some technical issues after setting up necessary communication systems/arrangements on C4C system & trying to do a WS call from SDK also we get error when we do a ping test from within C4C system to check connection.
Has SAP developed any WS integration between C4C & either of the ECC or CRM OnPrem system? Or is it just PI & HCI which SAP has for integration?
I'd truly appreciate if you can guide us on creating few integration scenarios (Working ones of course ) using Webservice between C4C & ECC OnPrem system.

Output determination: Dispatch time for Outline Agreements

Hi gurus,
I have an issue, when I am creating an outline agreement, by defaul the output message type: NEU is showed, and, it is fine, but, the dispatch time is always = 1 - Send with periodically schedule job.
In the customising of the output NEU, I have:
General data:
Access sequence = 0001
Check box active = Access conditions
Check box active = Multiple issuing
Print parameter = Purchasing group
In the fine-tuned control, the "Update Print-Related data" is not active.
And, I do not have defined any message schema for this output.
And, then, I customised the dispatch time for NEU with the value = 4 - Print immediately, but, still is appearing the dispatch time "1".
Then, I created 1 condition record with POrg, Doctype and Vendor, but, still is appearing the dispatch time "1".
Could you help me with this, please?

Hi Biju,
The point is that this output message type does not have a "Message schema determination", for that reason, if I am creating the condition record, it will be never updated. I was doing a testing and saw it.
But, if my message type NEU does not have any schema and according to SAP, by default will define the message type NEU, why the dispatch time is still = 1 if in the customising of NEU I have defined the dispatch time = 4?
More ideas?
