Red spots on TV with PS3

Hello All,I have brought PS3 + Sony R56C 40" last week. What I observed is, in PS3 view, if I move the setting to 1080i or 720p or 568p, I am getting lots of red dots on the screen. It is working fine in 1080p mode. But if I play game like KillZone3, I see that it gets changed to 720p and the same story of Red spots continues. Im feeling helpless and I am not sure whether its the TV or the PS3 that is having problems.Do you guys have any suggestions..I am clueless

The people over on this link seemed to resolve their problem by using a hdmi amplifier.

You are confusing two different versions of the iMovie app. You have downloaded an update to the boxed version that Apple sold in the past. Yoi cannot update the version that Apple now sells in the Mac App Store with that update.

A red spot is showing at the opening ,what does that mean?

The tools of adobe touch stopped working and a red spot appears instead ,how can I fix that ?

For some reason my Adoby Touch failed while doing some direct painting and selecting different colors on a already finished background .The red spot was all over the application on each try I made .To my surprise I was able to save the image and finished it without incident .I did not delete the application on my IPad that has enough memory ,but I turn the Ipad"IOS" on and off several times without any results .I charged the IPad over night .the red spot was gone ,but the tools still did not work at first ,but after another try it worked fine . I like to create my images from scratch and I love what I can do with the tools . I am showing them all on facebook and like it to be able to load the images directly to my page ,

I've never seen that. The only way to rule out hardware is to perform user troubleshooting. First step is a restart. Power the phone off/on. If it returns, then a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will reboot. If it returns, make a backup of the phone and restore the phone to that backup. If after that, it still returns, then make a backup of the phone, however this time restore the phone as new, not from the backup. Do not add any additional content to the device and see if it returns. If it does, then you have a hardware issue and you need to make an appointment at the nearest Apple Store or your Authorized Apple Service provider. The restart, reset and restore from backup will not affect your data. However, a restore as new will delete all data from the device. Make sure everything is synced to a supported application to recover and import your photos and other data.

First, it depends on what data package you have. If you have one of the "limited" ones (2gb, 4gb, etc) then I believe Hotspot is included (keep in mind that if you do have metered data, that entire amount that you have; 2gb, etc will come from that amount, so keep an eye on your data usage). If you have unlimited data, you have to add the Hotspot feature with Verizon, and that's 30.00 - the advantage here is that you'd have unlimited hotspot data (again thats ONLY if you have unlimited data already). As far as cost to "use" it, there is none, just whatever amount of data you use that's going to come out of your "data bucket" so to speak. Again, if you're on a metered plan, make sure you keep an eye on your data usage as it can add up fast.
To set it up goto settings, then personal hotspot, and enable it. You'll have to set a password, and it will ask if you want to use wifi/bluetooth or usb only.

In the iPhoto preferences you can set Apple Mail as your e-mail client and then it will work exactly as before

WRE54G doesn't work with PS3...

I bought yesterday the range expander WRE54G because I would like to expand my WiFi singal and make it accesible to my PS3.
I configured de range expander and it works fine with all my electronic gadgets with WiFi, but it doesn't work with PS3. My PS3 is always contecting and disconecting... And, curiously, when i connect PS3 directly to my router, using wifi too, it works fine...
What can i do to solve this problem? I only bought it to use with PS3.
i put the same SSID and chanel of the router wifi to the range expander... I think it must be in that way, no?

You have correctly setup the WRE54G if you have same SSID, wireless channel and wireless security on this device and the router. The range expander will reduce the wireless connection speed by Half. So may be your connection drops because of lower connection speed.

I use my ps3 online gaming, is the airport extreme or the airport express be compatible with ps3? Is it going to be a better connection compair to other router? Which one is a better choice for me, airport express or airport extreme??

I bought linksys EA3500 router. Its still in the box and before I open it I want to learn more about the apple airport router, is the apple going to work with my online games with ps3? I have iPad, 2 iPhones, apple tv and Mac mini. If the airport express or airport extreme is a lot better and will work for ps3 which one should I get?

Airport will work with PS3. From what you've stated, the Extreme is more than you need. Buy the Express.

That's probably a broken display profile. The conversion from Library's Adobe RGB is different than the conversion from Develop's linear ProPhoto, so if there's a problem with the display profile it can show up this way.
Recalibrate, or if you don't have a calibrator use sRGB. If your monitor is a wide gamut model use Adobe RGB.
Assuming Windows, change it in Control Panel > Color Management > Devices, and relaunch Lightroom so that it can pick up the new profile at startup:

Red Eye and Healing with Content Aware

I was fortunate in being able to see the African Children's Choir in 2009 and today thought I would put some of the images through PSE 10. Issue 1 of 2: I'm not having any luck getting rid of red eye. I zoom in so that I'm hitting it dead on but instead of getting a correction, a black blob appears on their heads! My guess is that their wide orange head bands are causing confusion but why is it happening so far away from where I'm clicking? Issue 2 of 2 is a problem using the healing brush. I have Content Aware selected and have tried eliminating a couple of mic stands. No matter what size I make the brush, the program doesn't read anything correctly. I've had issues with using it on other photo's as well. Sometimes there is something I can't get it to remove not matter how many times I go over the spot. Power lines are a real annoyance when it gets everything but one bit. In desperation (and when it is possible) I have used copy and paste to get rid of things like that but using it has its own set of problems. Help!

If you hit the "Auto" button on the Options bar for the RedEye Removal tool, does it work?
My settings for the RER tool are
Pupil Size: 50%
Darken Amount: 50%
Can you manually remove the red eye in this photo?
If not, click on the down arrow at the far left of the Options bar and select "Reset Tool", then try again.
If everything works OK on this image, then we'd have to see your problem picture to test.

Yes, sometimes the Spot Healing Brush doesn't completely remove all the bits. Sometimes repeating 4 times does it, sometimes going across the area at a right angle to the original path of the Spot Healing Brush does it. If not, there's nothing to do but use the Clone Tool to clean things up. One thing about the Spot Healing Brush is that the larger the size of the brush used, the wider the area it "pulls in" to do the healing. Try setting the brush size very small. Here's an example of what I mean:

The Spot Healing Brush can be difficult to use with power lines, especially lines that are close together. Again, try setting the brush size very, very small, and going across the former path of the line (at a right angle) to clean up the leftovers. There's also a free filter, Wire Worm, which can help:

Red interference during capture with FCP 5.1.4

I have FCP version 5.1.4 . I am using OSX 10.6 snow leopard (Macbook Pro). Have captured and edited without any problems. All of a sudden I am getting an interference during capture. This interference comes in the form of a bright red color which suddenly fills half my screen from corner to corner forming a right angled triangle and hiding half of my picture triangularly. it flashes and then remains. Anyone know what the **** this is and how I can rectify it?

HT4437 How do I get my Air Play to access my two WD Share Space and my booklive duo?. Able to access with PS3 but not Apple TV Ver 3. Have all my movies and music on it and do not want to have a computer on for it.

I had bought two Network Drives so I could watch my own movies anywhere in my house and clear up the clutter of all the DVDs, Blurays and CDs, Works greate with the PS3, Bought the Apple TV version 3 because it was smaller and resently bought the IPAD 3 and have the IPHONE 4S and other apple products.
My wish is to access my Network drives with the Apple TV - I have herd of Jailbreaking it (Not Avalible from where I can tell for the Version3) - but why didn't Apple ever think of accessing a Network drive and is their a work around for this? Should I just shutup and wait till Jail Breaking is avalible for the Version 3?.

I'm sure they did think of it, but quickly discarded the idea because of the horrendous user experience this causes.
