I see that you are experiencing issues when sending or receiving a fax. I will do my best to help you.
Which Laserjet do you have? (M127fn or M127fw)
Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector) This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
Try these steps to see if it will resolve the issue. Cannot Send or Receive Faxes.
Update the printer's firmware if the issue persists.
You can also set the printer to print a fax confirmation page for sending and receiving faxes.
What operating system are you using? How to Find the Windows Edition and Version on Your Computer.

In the lower left corner, next to the call button, there's an icon that's supposed to look like a keypad. Press that during your call.

HT204380 When someone called using FaceTime,I was unable to get to the IPad in time.and I missed the call. When I went to use the IPad it was locked up.unable to get further than the FaceTime screem.

When someone called me on my IPod I was unable to get to the pad in time to recieve the call.When I went to use the machine it was locked up on the FaceTime screen. And it remaines locked no matter what I do

Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Or if that doesn't work, quit FaceTime completely and restart the iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

I cannot get my new 5S to emit a sound when people call in. Not the "Do not Disturb".

When people call me my phone never seems to ring....

I have had this problem since I started with Verizon years ago and I have had about 4 different phones with the company. People will call my phone and they claim the phone rings and rings until finally the voice mail picks up but the strange thing about it is that my phone does not ring. Yet I have never had dropped call problems and when I check the volume is on in fact at full blast so if it rang you would probably jump out of your seat from how loud it was lol. I checked and it shows I have at least 3 bars of service.
I live about 2 hours away from New York City but my parents and my sister all live down in Florida and they too have the same exact problem. It rings sometimes but not always. I used to get some sort of alert whenever someone left me a voice mail and now I get none. I just happen to know people call me because I check my voice mail and it said I have 3 new messages all from different people who claim they called me at a certain time but the thing is the phone is right here next to me and it has not rung at all.
My dad has a Samsung Galaxy smartphone and he has the same problem with that and previous phones. My mom just upgraded herself to an iphone and both me and my sister have basic phones until our next possible upgrade we will upgrade to smartphones. But the point is I have no clue why I have this problem when I should not have this at all. Even Verizon confirmed there are no service problems where I live or down where my parents live so service is not the issue here and the maps show that both me and my family are covered. Any idea on why it is when people call their calls do not go through for me and why I get no voice mail updates when someone leaves a voice mail?

I am sorry if I have not been able to respond sooner. I am taking night and day classes during the week so have been as busy as ever with school. But well I will give this a shot. As for signal well here is the deal. On campus no one gets signal. I know people who have all sorts of cell phone services you name it and they wont get signals. But the verizon maps shows we are covered all over campus. Some people suspect because the building is made completely out of metal that would cause us to never get service cause when we go into the building next door which is a brick building we get service fine no matter what provider.I know people who use iphones on verizon and get no service at school. But outside of school and outside the building and anywhere else I go to I get perfect service. Even where I live I live in like the middle of the woods here where there are tons of trees and when people complain they get no service I am showing at least 3 our of 4 bars of service and am able to text my friends for a while and texts go through no problems.
However sometimes I go to take my phone out and I will notice the bars jump like I can have 4 bars of service then it jumps to 2 bars then it says 1X with no bars then it says EV then it goes back to like 4 bars then back to 3 where it stays on 3 for a while. This only happens once in a while. I usually do a simple phone restart by removing the battery and this solves that issue but as for making phone calls and sending texts (aside from being inside school) I have never had a problem making or sending a call or text. Only in school will my call fade and get lost. The problem with the time is that the voice mail does not give you the time the person who left the message called. I am not sure how to verify this because I even check my missed calls log and the person who left me the message well their number is no where to be found on my missed calls log.
My dad on the other hand just recently about a month ago upgraded his basic phone to the Samsung Galaxy III and he said he has the same exact issue the only difference is when someone leaves a voice mail his phone will send him a notification stating something like "you have one new voice mail" while as my phone does not pop up any messages. I missed a Dr.s appointment recently because something happened with my calender and I wrote down the wrong date. My dr.s office called to remind me of the appointment date but I missed it because I never got the call and they said they had left a voice mail which I had never gotten to begin with. I also made sure the volume on the phone was up in fact I had it higher then usual so if someone calls you might jump from the surprise call lol but yes anyways this is the status of the situation.
It appears it is something on the family plan. I had this problem before where I was unable to send and receive picture messages from people so when my parents would text me a picture of something from work or whatever my phone would not get it and they would ask me why and it turns out Verizon put a block on my phone so I could not get picture messages. They removed it at once and problem was solved. I am not sure if this could be a similar situation where you guys in Verizon put some sort of block on my phone that could have caused this to happen on my phone where the calls are not getting through? Or do you think it could be something else? It's me my parents and my sister and we have a family share plan and all of us have this same exact issue but I just seem to be having it a lot longer then they did. Sorry if this was long wanted to update the situation thanks for responding.

Samsung Galaxy Pad Installation

I used the Google Play store to download the Firefox browser onto my Samsung Galaxy pad. When I go to the Play store and look at My Apps, the page indicates Firefox (and beta) are installed. Trouble is there is no icon, the app doesnt show up in my application manager, so I cant "uninstall" it to try reinstalling it. Ive cleared cookies, caches, reset defaults, restarted, etc and am stumped on what to try next. Any ideas? I'm almost thinking something is incorrectly telling the Play store it is installed when it isnt - but I don't know what that something is to correct it. Any ideas or suggestions are very much appreciated.

DLL Wrapper works when functions called out of main(), not from elsewhere?

I am currently trying the JSAsio wrapper out ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/jsasio )
Support on this project is nearly unexisting and a lot of people seem to complain that it doesn't work well.
It works very nicely here, I wrote a few test classes which called some functions (like playing a sound or recording it) and had no problems whatsoever.
These test classes were all static functions and ran straight out of the main() method and printed some results to the console.

Then I tried to implement these test classes into my swing-based applications. So I want to call these same functions, as in the test classes, as a result of any user action (for example, selecting the asio driver in a combobox) But then these asio driver functions just stop to work. I get errors saying that the ASIO driver is not available. (meaning that the dll wrapper loads the wrong asio driver or can't load one at all)
The library path and classpath are all set correctly, exactly the same as the test classes. Even copied the test code word for word in to my swing applications but it still will not work. I am calling these functions in a new Thread, and even put them in a static methods to try and get that working. When calling these asio methods from the main() method AFTER I set up my components gives me the desired results as well. But as soon as I call these same methods (which are in the same class) from a swing event, it fails;

For what reasons can an application which uses JNI functions go wrong when working in a swing enviroment? (and out of a static context, although this does not seem to make any difference, eg. when calling these functions from static methods inside another class, inside a new thread when the user has generated an event)
I am hoping someone could point me in the right direction :-)

Well, I am running the "updated" version from the same environment; I copied the jframe, and a jcombobox into my original test class which only ran in the java console. Consider my second code example in my original post as the "updated" version of the first code example. And as I pointed out, it works fine when I call the jni functions in the main method, but not when I call it from inside the ActionListener.
Or am I again missing something essential by what you mean with a different environment? The classpath and the working directory is exactly the same, as is the Djava.library.path option. :-)

During a two weeks process, little by little I notice my phoe doesn't ring when I get a phone call. So Far I have missed 22 calls that I am aware of. Moreover, the phone does not alert me when I get a text message. Sometimes I receive notice the next day that I received a call or a text message.

Follow the basic troubleshooting steps outlined in the user guide... reset, restore from backup, restore as new.

HT1414 Can anyone shed some light on my problem with iPhone 5 please? I am 'stuck' in recovery mode and do EVERYTHING that's been suggested online. (Even Apple at Bondi said 'Oh...um...oh that' doesn't sound too good.') when I called them for help.

To say that I am livid would be the greatest understatement EVER made in the ENTIRE history of the planet. Last night my iPhone 5 decided it would go into Recovery Mode. (That is.....a Black screen showing the iTunes logo, a white 'up' arrow and with the white cable/plug at the bottom of the screen).
(Hold onto your Samsung Galaxys people - do NOT throw/give them away when you 'update (yeh right) to an iPhone).
So I turned it off and left it off all of last night. I arrived at work this morning to 'sync/restore' it with my computer where it asked me to install the latest version of 'whatever it is the latest version of.' HOWEVER, as I do not have the administrative rights to do such things on my work computer, I was unable to do so and now I have been riding the 'Apple Merry-Go-Round' since 0630hrs (WAST). It comes up with the following message in a window on the screen:-
'The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (14).'
Gee - thanks for that - I'd never have known unless I saw that little window!!!! The fact that my screen has frozen and I am unable to install, sync or restore anything kind of gives it away!!!

That is a 'tad' hard as I work in The Pilbara Region of North West, Western Australia (for 4+ weeks at any one time) and won't be back in 'civilisation' until next Monday week (10th of Feb, 2014)........Talk about being held to ransom by technology!! Thanks for that 'sberman' - because my iPhone is backed-up to my work computer (only at this stage) I have had to call our IT Department in Adleaide. (4 times this morning). The last guy managed to get the phone into 'DFU Mode' - no more recovery mode screen - (kind of 'asleep' perhaps) from my understanding of same. I am awaiting a call again from IT so they can get my computer to actually recognise my iPhone on the C Drive. This also happened to one of my colleagues in Newman (WA). She got so frustrated with the whole process that she bought another phone the next time she was in 'civilisation.' She hasn't had any problems since. (Cross fingers).

I would strongly advise you not to let it sit in the Inbox.
When you see this happening, try right-click on the affected folder, select '''Properties''' then '''Repair Folder'''.
Large folders (actually, a folder in Thunderbird is stored as a file, so it is sensitive to file size limits set by the underlying file system) can be problematic. This is one reason not to let messages collect in one folder. I use Thunderbird's Archive folders so that accumulated mails over several years can happily coexist because they are effectively stored in many small folders. No single mail store folder then exceeds the 2GB or 4GB sizes that have been known to stress the OS. I appreciate that current builds of Thunderbird and a modern 64-bit OS should be able to cope, but practically I find it slows down when given huge files, so I err towards a pragmatic solution; a large number of not very big files.
Archives are searchable, and a Saved Search folder can give you a virtual composite folder allowing access to the entire Archive.

Why is it that when I call my MIL with FaceTime I end up calling another person?

When I call my mother in law with FaceTime, I end up calling a total stranger. I use her number from my contacts and it is the right number, it works just fine if I make a regular phone call. Today, I called her and talked to her for some time and after a while we decided to switch to FaceTime. While on the phone with her, I pushed the FaceTime button on my screen, the call ended, FaceTime started and instead of my MIL it was a complete stranger that answered the call. What can I do to fix this problem?

Check to see if you have an old phone number associated with this person in your address book. When you call someone on Facetime it calls ALL numbers/emails associated with that persons contact sheet! This was my problem, this stranger has my husband's old phone number!

Why is it that when someone calls my dad's phone, the incoming call shows up on both our screens?

Whenever someone is calling my dad, we both get the call. It only happens when we are close. It only happens when the calls are for him. It happens even when the other person is not doing a multiple call. Does it have something to do with us having the same Wi-Fi? He has an iPhone 5 with iOS 8 and I have an iPhone 5c with iOS 8.

It has to do with you and him sharing an Apple ID. This is not a good practice. Create a new Apple ID: http://appleid.apple.com.
You could also go to Settings > FaceTime > iPhone Cellular Calls and turn if off, but ultimately you'll probably run into other problems down the road by sharing an ID.
