Redeemed Gift Card But Credit Balance Not Correct

I redeemed two 50 USD Itunes Gift card in my account however while redeeming each, 25 USD redeemed and it got 25 USD as credited. So totaly It redeemed 50 USD and got 50 USD as credited. I never face such a kind of thing however I can not use also this credited amount. Anyone has an idea how I can get back my credited 50 USD from Itunes?

Try signing out then back in to refresh your account. If this will not work, contact support and have them check your account.

If you bought an Apple gift card, then you cannot use it in the iTunes store. You can only use it in the Apple store for hardware.
You would need an iTunes gift card to buy anything in iTunes

You cannot change your iTunes country unless you are really moving to another country, nor can you change country association for a gift card. Give it as a gift to a friend who lives in the country of origin for the card.

HT201209 I am trying to make a purchase on iTunes with a gift card but it is not allowing me to because it wants to use my credit/debit card which I know have no funds in. My iTunes account has $30 on it but won't work as wants to use credit card.

My itunes account will not let me use my $30 credit which is loaded on. It wants to use my credit card which I've previously used but which now has been cancelled. I've gone into manage my account and tried to find where to de select credit card but there is no 'none' button. I now can't purchase from itunes.

I had a similar problem, except my phone was a new IPhone 5s, and it was my first purchase. I simply put money into my credit card account (only $2), and gave them my credit card details in the payment info section. I then tried purchasing again and it worked using the gift card I had previously redeemed, maybe they just need to know that if it doesn't work there's enough money on your card, as a guarantee.

I went to buy a song and when i entered the email address and password it says that it is wrong. it directs me to make a new password, for which was do not want to do so because after an hour on the phone with apple support, i got it straight where i have one password for my apple id. the reference number for that issue is 425431646. Have you tried logging out and back into your account on the computer/device that you are using and seeing if the balance then updates ?

Nothing you can do. Cards are country specific, and your account information must match the country of the card and store you are trying to use.
You can only use that card in the USA store, with an account with USA billing information. No way around that.

Apple "verifies" your billing information with every transaction whether it's purchasing media from the balance of redeemed gift card or a debit or credit card account.
Click Account right side of the App Store window then click View Account.
Make sure your name and billing address is correct then click Done.
Now try purchasing an app.

Look, I understand I still need a card attached to the account. The problem is, it won't accept my card because I only have 87 cents in my bank account right now.
If I had known there would be so much trouble with the iTunes card, I would have just put the cash in my bank account in the morning instead of buying an iTunes card (I didn't expect the banks to be open on Thanksgiving of course).
Apple will only accept cards that have a balance. The balance is so small in my account that it won't accept it as a valid card.
I'm going to have to contact Apple anyway to reset the security questions. That's obvious. Your answers were not exactly helpful. You didn't tell me anything I don't already know, but thanks for trying to be helpful.
