Redeeming iTunes credit has worked before, but not now.

I have an iTunes credit that won't apply when I make an inapp purchase. It went straight to the bank account. Before, iTunes credits were applied before other means were applied. Any suggestions?

Ok...this worked for me, so maybe it will solve your problem too.
1. Login to the local administrator account on the computer.
2. Go to /Library/Preferences
3. Delete the following 3 files:
com.apple.ARDAgent.plist
com.apple.RemoteDesktop.plist
com.apple.RemoteManagement.plist
4. Empty the Trash
5. Restart Computer.
6. Now you should be able to see the machine via ARD, however, mine showed as having the "old version" of the client, so I pushed out the update and all is well.

    I am running ARD 3 in my computer lab of eMacs. the current status of all but one of the computers is offline. But the computers are on.     make sure it's not being connected to by any of the other two
    one can only connect 1 device at the time and just by waking up sometimes a headset connects to a device
    automaticly
    then forget the bluetooth device in OS X and put the headset in pairing mode / discovery mode and connect with it once again with the mac

    First thing to do is to change the default camera profile applied in Lightroom to camera standard (assuming that you shoot Canon or Nikon). Also make sure that your camera is NOT set up to use any of the HDR modes. Nikon calls those Active Dynamic Lighting. On Canons you often see things like highlight priority mode or "Auto Lighting Optimizer". Make sure that the picture style is set to standard and that for newer Canons the HDR mode is turned off. Most of the HDR modes simply underexpose the image and then add an instruction in the raw file to compensate for this to prevent highlights from being blown out. This causes more noise in the shadows and if you know what you are doing there is no point to this as you should simply expose correctly and get the highest quality raw.
    Lastly, make sure that in Lightroom you have not checked "Apply Auto Tone Adjustments" in Preferences->Presets. This should make the default rendering of the raw files the same as the in-camera jpeg (what the camera shows on the back even if you shoot raw) but still give you all the latitude of raw files.

    OS is important.. What OS is on Mac and what is on the working macbook?
    Was the Airport setup from the Macbook? That might be why it works from there..
    Does the AE show up in Mac airport utility?
    Can you mount the disk in finder and copy files to it/from it??
    Did you try a TM reset after mounting in Finder.. so you know it is available?
    What about a network reboot.. does it work post a restart for a few minutes/hours/days???

  • PSCS6 no longer recognizes my CR2 files and will not open. Using Canon 5DMark III with updated Camera Raw . It has worked before but now won't open files from this camera.

    Glad to be of help. But I'm curious (not critical of what you are doing) to know why so many people like to use Nikon Transfer to transfer their files to the computer. It is still necessary to import them into Lightroom. And, from my perspective, it seems simpler and maybe even a little quicker to use the Lightroom import dialog. I have Nikon cameras, and have never even installed the Nikon Transfer utility. What is so unique about it?

    I am having a similar problem, that has just started recently. I am on OS 10.5.8 with all security updates run. My Mail account is an IMAP account. When I check my mail through webmail on Safari, my new messages show up immediately. However, Mail does not show them. Clicking the "check mail" button does not bring them in. I have to quit Mail and re-start it, then the messages show.
    I tried to implement Ernie's solution of turning off "Use IDLE". That command is ticked in my preferences, however it is greyed out and I can't change it. Why is that? If it helps, my IMAP path prefix is blank, I'm using port 133, and "use SSL" is not ticked. These are all default settings that I have used successfully for years and haven't fiddled with.

    I keep receiving a prompt that my account has been disabled, but not for secruity reasons. I had problems almost half a year ago with unauthorized purchases. When I asked Apple about the purchases, instead of providing answers, they said they would disable the account. Not only is that awful customer service and not answering my question, it's a HUGE pain in the butt because I just want to download some music legally!!! Does anyone in Apple Universe have any suggestions before I rip the rest of my hair out?

    Reset the SMC 2-3 times. Click Intel iMac SMC and PRAM resets for instructions.

  • I need to add text over a still photo in iMovie.  Following directions that always worked before but not this time.

    I am running OS 10.6.8, an upgrade that I did after Christmas.  A couple of times a year, I need to make a video of my students' performances, and have always been able to add text over the still photos before, using the directions in iMovie "help."  However, this time, I am not able to choose a title style; no amount of clicking makes anything show up on the selected still photo.  And no amount of trying to choose the font style makes anything show up either.
    This is iMovie 09; is it possible that it is not compatible with my OS upgrade?
    I've been able to insert still photos into the video footage, but can't add any titles or acknowledgements.  Thank you so much for your help!  Since I only do this a couple of times a year, it always takes me forever to accomplish, which is why I printed off the Help directions to follow.

  • Vista..Can't connect to the iTunes store... Could before, but not now...

    I recently had a problem with not being able to connect to the iTunes store on Vista. I was able to connect, and then all of a sudden one day it wouldn't connect. When I tried to go to the iTunes store it would give me the box that is the same as the one you see in a web browser when you click on a link to iTunes that says "One moment Please, Connecting to the iTunes store...". Only it was in iTunes and wouldn't go to the store. It just sat there saying "Loading...".
    After going to the powers that be at Apple/Support to no avail, I googled it and found this.
    1. Close iTunes.
    2. Delete the iTunesPrefs.xml file from C:\Users\+user name+\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes.
    3. Delete the iTunesPrefs.xml file from C:\Users\+user name+\AppData\Local\Apple Computer\iTunes.
    4. Launch iTunes & follow the setup prompts
    This will make it like it's the first time you have used iTunes and may import duplicates you have in WMP, so unchceck this option when you come to it. You will not lose any of the music in your iTunes library, just the annoying connection problem. I hope this helps someone!!

    Couple of things to try:
    Allow itunes and itunes helper in your AV/Security software firewall (not just in the windows firewall)
    You diagnostics show that you are using a proxy, can you change this?

    Apple tried making it so iOS only allows "made for iPhone devices". You will have to get a different cable in order for it to work again.
    If you need just the USB section of it, amazon sells a nice cable, for a few bucks less than apple and it is a lot better made.
