Redemed gift cards it ate my old funds on my account and only lowest gift card shows on balance.
I am just now getting around to putting in my digital gifts for holiday. I had money left over from last year b-day gift cards not much but enough for a couple of songs. I was entering in my gift card and it said it was accepted yet it had eaten my other funds. I haven't bought anything recently so I don't understand why it would have done this. Checking my email shows no new purchases either.

Thanks for the question. Did you have a previously unpaid order? If so, the negative balance would have been subtracted from the gift card redemption:

You'll want to get in touch with ITunes support for this. Normally when you start an account with the CC you can't remove it yourself. But by contacting iTunes they can get that taken off for you.

Can't play old purchases with same account and computer?
I just downloaded movies I bought years ago on itunes. Same account as I have now, same computer. (I even found the videos by logging into my account and looking for past downloads) Yet I can't play them because it says my account is not authorized, even after I authorize my computer. I just deauthorized ALL my computers and reauthorized this one to be sure. Still nothing. I now have tons of movies and a few TV series that I paid for that I can't watch. Help.

I have an old Microsoft Exchange Email Account on my phone that I no longer use. I never synced my contacts with this email account. Yet, if I delete it, it destroys my contacts. Do I just need to have this email account permanently on my phone? It's really annoying and I want to get rid of it, but have no idea what to do. Thanks!
If you updated your existing account then try logging out of it on the iPhone by tapping on the id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on it.
If you created a new account then any content that you purchased/downloaded via the old account will remain tied to that old account, and only that old account can download updates to its apps - you should be able to logout of the old account via Settings > Store and log in with you new account for new purchases. -

Deleting old accounts and folders
I have a new email address i want to use in my mail but after ive deleted, the old account the old folders from that account and messages are still there! i want to restart it or something so its like new and free of old folders and messages, it wont let me manually delete these messages so what can i do? is there a reset? or what? please help! haha
What you’re saying doesn’t make sense. What have you done to delete the old account?
Regardless, Mail stores most preferences and all account settings in ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist. Everything else, including all your messages and mailboxes, is stored in ~/Library/Mail/. Quitting Mail and getting rid of those files would allow you to set up Mail anew as if you had never used it before, if that’s really what you want.
Other folders you may want to trash as well if present, but that are unimportant, are ~/Library/Mail Downloads and ~/Library/Caches/Mail.
Note: For those not familiarized with the ~/ notation, it refers to the user's home folder, i.e. ~/Library is the Library folder within the user's home folder. -
im living in the uk i AM signed in to my US account but when I buy apps it makes me sign in but tells me that my account is not verified i do have funds in my account but cant buy i am usin gift cards to purchase
HELP!If you are here in the UK then you can only use the UK store - you need to be in a country to use its store. You will either need to put a UK billing address on your account, or create a new account with that address.
