Redemption Code Issue

I try to type my redemtion code to install Adobe Premiere Elements 12 and it says, "That it's invalid" or "It's inactive...." when I change the 0 to the letter O; just in case of confusion, please HELP!!!!!

    You get only one download of a movie per purchase, so you need to move the movie from your old computer yourself. See:

  • My iTunes gift card's redemption code is unreadable.  I tried to submit this issue through the online support but the website wouldn't allow me to attach pictures of the card. What can I do now?

    I have an iTunes gift card from a parent of my student.  When I tried to scratch off the back for the redemption code, the code became unreadable.  I tried to submit this problem on Apple's support website and the site asked for pictures of the card (front & back).  I took pictures with my iPhone and when I tried to submit it, the website said it wasn't in the right format (my pictures were saved as JPEG files).  I tried all of the file extensions acceptable by the website and none worked.  I called customer support (real human) and she said that she could not nothing for me since the card was not purchased from iTunes store directly and it may have been from a retailer.  So there was nothing Apple could do.  I find that surprising since this card has Apple's brand on it and it was a legitimate iTunes card.  I can even provide the serial number but the Apple customer support didn't want to hear it. She told me to submit the question as a product feedback via their website so I did and again, I got nothing in return.
    I'd like to know if anyone can help me with this issue or if I will need to throw away this $25 gift card that would otherwise be very helpful for the students in my classroom?

    When you tried to contact Support with the card's images how were you trying to do it, on your phone or a browser on your computer ? And have you tried a different browser to see if you get the same error message ?
    As well as images of the card they might also want an image of its receipt.

  • Why do I get an error message when I put in my redemption code?

    Maryland Institute College of Art and Design allows their students to download a yearly subscription to Adobe Creative Suite using an intermediary website mica.onthehub.com. Following the instructions I obtained my new redemption code and was directed to https://creative.adobe.com/educard to renew my subscription. However, every time I try to enter my password I get an error message with the following: "We're sorry. Something seems to be wrong on our end. Please try again later. If this continues to fail, please contact Customer Support." I've tried multiple times but the issue doesn't seem to be resolved. I'd greatly appreciate some help.

    I went through the process of activating this redemption code with a support technician from my university, and they weren't able to activate this code either.  This technician has activated many licenses on campus and has never seen error messages like this.
    Additionally, the form's error even states that this is due to a problem on Adobe's end of things.  This is the redemption code that was supplied by the OnTheHub people, and it's not working.  Why is that?
    Additionally, when I log into my Adobe account and look at what's listed under my "Products and Plans", it said something along the lines of "We can't display all of your plans at this time."  Perhaps this is related to why I'm unable to activate this license?

  • Still in trial mode despite use of redemption code

    I was given a year subscription by an adobe employee as they are trying to convert all the editors at my job to Premiere Pro from FCP. I received the email with the code and entered it, then I downloaded a bunch of apps but they all ask for a serial which I never got. Did I miss a step in the process or something?

    Sorry to hear you're still having difficulties. I looked at your order and it looks like the type of membership which should only require you signing in with your Adobe ID and no redemption code.  Do you see any kind of button at the bottom with a "License this software" option that you can use to sign-in? If for some reason Photoshop was unable to activate, that would be an explanation why its running in trial mode.     Where/how did you purchase?
    If you purchase direct from Adobe, I don't think you receive any codes, you simply use your paid Adobe account ID

    Same issue. We produce a number of Podcasts and are about to launch a national print campaign to promote them under a single brand identity.
    I tried that method already as well, but got the response back that I needed to contact a different department using the "report this podcast" link associated with the Podcast in iTunes (which, of course, doesn't have any options for anything close to this type of request.)     You say your FREE trial has expired, and then you say you have a subscription... which is it? Do you have a paid subscription?
    Cloud programs do not use serial numbers... you log in to your paid Cloud account to download & install & activate... you MAY need to log out of the Cloud and restart your computer and log back in to the Cloud for things to work

    If you are using windows OS, look for file named hosts at below location:
    C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
    Check if there is anything that is blocking the Adobe CC app to verify your subscription.
    Make back up copy of hosts file and delete everything except below contents:

    I was just given this Photoshop Elements 10 as a gift, and I followed the directions to get my serial number.... peeled the sticker off of the back of the box from Best Buy, entered the redemption code, only to be told the code is invalid. SO, I am unable to get a serial number to install this program. Even online support told me it was an incorrect number. So it's either a misprint, or as one phone support agent said last night "it's Best Buys fault".... Today I've been on hold for nearly an hour waiting for someone to answer the phone.... any ideas what to do outside of hoping tech support can finagle me a new number?

    Do you have the invoice for the purchase made at best buy?
    On the invoice, you will see a number listed as the "Serial Number".
    Please contact support and provide that number and they will be able to resolve your issue.

  • Redemption code says inactive, bought package yesterday

    A few questions here about photoshop elements 10 / premiere elements 10.
    I bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 / Adobe Premiere Elements 10 combo pack. Came home excited for new software and I had to go online to get a serial number. No big deal, takes 5 seconds. After all, this couldn't possibly be harder than getting an E-book onto a Kobo... So I enter the redemption code with the re-captcha. BOOM "redemption code is inactive. Please contact Adobe customer support." How may I ask do I do that? Any numbers? Yup it turns out after 3 minutes of searching, so I call it. Aaaaand now they say I can't have free support for a $150 program because it's "Elements". Talk about a catch 22.
    1) What does inactive mean? Does this mean the Authorized Adobe Reseller did not scan it out correctly? Did the product sit too long on the shelf? Did someone try to use the code and it no longer works? No clue here, and no information given to resolve it other than "contact Adobe support".
    2) If the retailer serial number on the box (not the upc) matches up with the serial number on the sales receipt, did it ring up correctly?
    3) Or should I get a full refund and get another copy from a different location?

    I would call support again (probably to no avail) but I work and sleep during their hours with no substantial time to call and be on hold for 45 minutes (increasing my cell phone bill...). Does customer support have an email if this cannot be resolved instantly via telephone?
    Edit: I looked at the serial number on the box and the one on the ticket. They differ by ONE digit. This could have something to do with it. I will update to help others with the same issue when I get a resolution.
