Redirect Skype Number Calls to Phone.

I want to redirect calls of my skype number to my Phone in India. Also, dont want the Skype calls should redirect. Only Skype Number Calls should be redirected. Please tell me how to do it?
Also, which plan shall i buy for it? Skype Calls to India Plan?

Same cost as for another 'normal' call to such an Irish telephone number, afaik.

    So I was wondering if there will be any support for skype number calling id in the future in australia. It is quite frustrating not having any support for ksype calling id in australia.     When will we be able to use the Skype supplied number for CID (Caller ID) in Australia?
    I've been trying to get a straight answer for this for over 3 years.  The closest I had was that the system can only verify the owner of a number by sending an SMS to it.  Well, if Skype supplies the number in the first place they already have me validated!
    Given that a mobile number can be used in Australia already why can't the Skype number be put into place? 
    Can a moderator or support staff please comment here?

    Just purchased a skype phone number. Chose a local area code so family can call me while Iam in Italy. Will there be an additional charge on their cell phone when they call me. They have unlimited calls and text on there monthly cell plan. Will I have to pay skype if I answer call to my skype number on my cell phone?  If I purchase a premium subscription will I be able to call home from Italy on my cell phone? And how much will that cost per minute- or will the monthly premium price give me unlimited calling and text from my cell?

    Does anyone know if I can transfer my skype number to my verizon account?  I am not trying to forward calls to my cell phone but rather set up a VOIP line that is linked to my verizon wireless account and I would like to keep the number I am using with skype.  It seems that a lot of folks are doing the opposite and maybe I am missing something but I need to set up a phone in the home office and skype isn't cutting it for my so my least expensive option is piggybacking on my cell phone.  Any help will be greatly apperciated.

    Hi, awr, and welcome to the Community,
    You may "port" your Skype Number to another carrier if said carrier permits; what is typically confusing is that numbers may not be "ported in" to Skype.
    It all depends upon if the carrier to whom you wish to transfer your Skype Number will accept the number and do the paperwork.

    Hi,
    we consider buying a local Skype phone number but we neeed to take to call from to different skype accounts. So my collegue and I can seperatly take the skype phone.
    Is that possible?

    you could get a Skype Number for one Skype Name/account and advertise that one as your business number
    then the above Skype Name/account could be configured to forward any unanswered calls to your colleague's Skype Name/account -- there are no costs associated with forwarding calls from one Skype Name to another
    OR
    you could create a new Skype Name/account for the business, buy a Skype Number for that account, and then configure that account to forward unanswered calls to BOTH your Skype Name and your colleague's Skype Name -- this can be configured for minimal delay if required
    I think the second option is cleaner

    Please remember this: a Skype Number provides a fixed or land line number for people to use to call you, and you answer the call on Skype.  In other words, incoming calls only.
    You will need credit or a subscription to cover the cost of calls you make from Skype to fixed or land lines and mobile numbers.
    Maybe the product names should not have been changed?!
    Skype Number = Skype In
    Calls to fixed lines and mobile numbers = Skype Out - credit or subscription needed.

    I tried to call a land line phone and a mobile phone
    the program give me the sound it give when it starts to dial a number
    but no after that no dial toon is heard
    finally a massage appears saying no answer

    Another possibility is the phone.  Some years ago I experienced a similar problem and after much back and forth with the phone company, the fault turned out to be my telephone.

    I have a small business, and we are at the point where we will have 2-3 staff available, and I am trying to work out how best to do this.
    I want the phone to ring at 2 or 3 different skype locations, and if no one answers, then it redirects to an external call centre (who can take a message).
    Is this possible? I have seen that you can create a second version of Skype running on the same PC, and that can be logged into a second account (eg the business account).
    Any ideas of ways we can do this, without dropping the quality of the calls / having issues with pickups etc.

    There is nowhere in the skype menu an address to file a complaint!!!! this is a serious issue... My skype number is constantly busy when I am called (and I am not using it!); who do I complain to?

  • My Skype number is displayed wrong to those I call...

    Hello,
    It seems anyone I call from my Skype number is seeing a totally different number displayed on their device than my own. Can someone please tell me how to fix that or how to contact Skype chat. I really need my proper number displayed when I make a call. It's creating a problem for me. I'm operating on a Mac OSX 10.8.5 and have a 3 month Skype subscription.
