Redirecting Domain & Uploading Changes through Muse

My site is hosted in business catalyst, but my domain is with GoDaddy. I keep redirecting my A records and Nameservers but the site appears then later is saying it's temporarily unavilable. Addtional to this, when the site does load on and off I try to upload changes and Muse says it is successful but days later nothing will have changed.

I then checked your site and its working fine on our end. Please confirm whether or not, your issue is resolved. There's an error message telling me that the login and pasword for FTP host are incorrect. However, I checked very carefully that I entered the same settings as I did in Dreamweaver with the same password and login. Why I can do the same thing in Deamweaver CC but can't do in Muse ?

Hi Ringo,
To narrow down the issue, please try to connect to your server using some third party FTP client such as filezilla. You can export the site as HTML and use FTP client to upload it.

Website not displaying what i uploaded through Muse

Hi there,
I have a serious problem and I hope someone can help me
I have just registered a domain via my web-host and wanted to build a quick "under construction" banner on that website
if I upload the website to the ftp server through Muse it shows only the "under construction" text although there should be a logo and an image as well
the text and logo get displayed on my iPhone but not the image though (logo is .png, image is.jpeg)
After the ftp upload is done, Muse automatically opens the website and shows only the text (as mentioned above).
But if I type in the URL like a normal person I just land on the ugly standard "under development" - splash screen .
all files should be in the public.html folder but I'm not sure.
I have no idea what I did wrong ?

Can you check with multiple browsers and verify if you still get start page without image and logo ? Browser cookie can be the reason here.
Secondly , Do you see any difference in page url that is opened after upload to ftp finishes and then one that shows "under development" ?
If the url is not same , then login to your host account and remove the page associated with the content you dont want to show up and assign start page the one which includes the images and logo.

What version of Muse are you using? If it's not 2014.2, please go to the Creative Cloud Desktop App or creative.adobe.com and update.
The FTP login failure is most likely due to your host not supporting FTP Extended Passive Mode. In Muse 2014.2 switch to "Passive (PASV)" in the Connect to FTP Server dialog.
Regarding performance, how large is your site (in pages and megabytes)? How many Design view tabs are open? What specific operations are slow?
If you'd like to send your .muse file, I'll take a look and attempt to isolate the cause of slow performance. Please send me the .muse file at [email protected] along with a link to this thread. If the file is larger than 20Mb you can use a service like Adobe SendNow, Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc. Thanks.

Upload webpage through Filezilla doesn't work

I've created a page with Muse, I tried to upload it through ftp to an external hosting, but it doesn't work. Apparently I make eveyrthing correct but when I go to my website the page won't show. Hosting name is netsons.
Can anybody help?

Are you using the built in FTP or a third party FTP client? Is that a 404 error when you access the page at the remote site? Make sure you do not have Export Page option disabled for the affected page (look for the option in the page's context menu in Plan/Design mode).
If that is not the case, please share the page URL.

Upload data through FI transation F-02

Hey All,
The requirement here is to upload data through FI transation F-02.
Using a BDC for the data upload is not suggested for this transaction as the Screen Sequence changes as per the values of the Posting Key ( and in some rare cases according to value of Account ).
Authorisations for LSMW havent been provided at this site.
I looked up SDN which showed many threads in which it was agreed that coding a BDC to handle such a dynamic sequence of screens is very complex. Some people suggested BAPIs as an alternative. Namely - BAPI_ACCT_DOCUMENT_POST and BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT .
But, when I searched for the BAPI BAPI_ACCT_DOCUMENT_POST in se37, it did not exist. The version here is 4.6c
Any suggestions ?

"Unknown Error" when attempting to publish through Muse

I recently updated my log in information to better organize log in credentials that I currently have deployed. I edited just the basic email and password as well as adding another one of my alternate email addresses. When I did that the ability to manage the site I have published through muse disappeared through the website interface. I also am receiving an "Unknown Error" when attempting to publish from the Muse application itself. Log in credentials are definitely updated and correct, just not sure where the others went.
Any help in the right direction is appreciated!

Uploading changed pages AND images

Hi
this is probably possible, but cannot find a shortcut or
extension to do it. When I changed a web page, it frequently
involves changed an image or image property. The CNTRL/SHIFT U
saves and uploads the page, but does not include changed images?
The synchronise utility takes far too long on a large site to
upload changed files.
I am wondering if there is a shortcut, or way of adapting the
upload function to include ALL changed files on a webpage.
One long winded work around is to change the file display to
'modified' but images are in a separate directory to html files, so
that involves hunting through directories to uploaded modified
files.
Is there a way of displaying modified files, or a way of
modifiying code to that the put command includes images?

If your page is that graphically heavy, then you would have
other problems.
But, the good news is that if the timestamp on the local and
the remote
files are the same, then they are not uploaded. So, you are
not uploading
all of the images - only those that have been changed.

You can do that already, but not with quite that granularity.
From the
expanded site panel, use EDIT | Select Recently Modified
Files.
Unfortunately, your options are only by days.

Error submitting site through Muse FTP

I've been trying to upload my site through Muse's built in FTP. But every time I try, it hits a certain point in the upload and then brings up this error message:
"Error:
Error uploading file sitemap.xml. Click Resume to try again. If this problem persists, try again later.
[230 WARNING! 212 bare linefeeds received in ASCII mode]"
I've read other threads commenting on this. The solutions for them don't seem to apply in my case. I have plenty of space available. I have the proper permissions set up. The only thing I'm not sure of is when some posters suggesting putting the 'absolute' directory structure.
I can use filezilla to do the uploads. But it would be nicer if I could just get Muse FTP to work.
Anyone have this issue? If so, how was it fixed?

Elementary Cyberduck help in uploading changes

I've read a lot of the discussions in the forum, and learned a lot - Thanks to so many.
But....I still need to know how to use Cyberduck to upload changes to my site on IXwebhosting. I have completed the changed pages (all designed to make it load faster - all gleaned from reading about what slows things down, in this forum and others) and published to folder. The changes are there.
NOW. I open Cyberduck and connect to the server, and the Cyberduck window shows all the files that are on the server.
There is a ceremonialdays.com folder (my site's name), and a Ceremonial Days folder because I uploaded the first time to the wrong place (?), and the host support put the file in the domain folder. (I believe this is what happened.)
My question is ....Now what? I don't quite understand at which point I should put the new file in the Cyberduck window.
Also, if anyone can understand what it is I don't understand about the location, on the server, of the file, I would love some illumination.

Thanks for the help. It gave me enough confidence to attempt some upload, knowing that I could always fix it somehow. I did not have enough guts to delete the folders and start from scratch.
I think my problem might be solved by renaming the site folder on my Mac ceremonialdays.com. I did upload the edited material, but I had to copy it from that unconnected folderCeremonial Days into the other one.
Sad to say, my changes didn't really make the site any faster.
Oooh well. I know that that is one of the cons of iWeb.

Preview in browser not showing changes in muse

I am trying to preview my changes in Muse but it's not showing any updates. I've doubled checked updates and shut down my laptop to reboot but still not working.

Could you tell me which version are you using, is it Muse CC or Muse CC 2014?
Also tell the Operating system that you have?
Have you checked both Preview in Muse and preview in browser? Try with clearing the browser cache.
Also, when you preview in browser, could you copy the address it shows in the address bar and paste it in the address bar of any other browser like Firefox or Chrome, see if it shows changes there?

Purchase order (STO) schedule line change through BAPI_PO CHANGE

Hi Gurus,
we have requirement in user exit of MIGO ; to change the purchase order(STO) Scheduline change through BAPI_PO_Change.
Current process.
STO -> outbound delivery through VL10B -> PGI -> MIGO to the receipt
It is working fine MIGO if we give fully quanitty issued in the quantify field of MIGO.
but if we give less quantity what ever PGI ed earlier then inside the user exit of MIGO it is giving error message 06 089 -> Quanity is smaller than the quantity Issued while changing the STO scheduline line through BAPI_PO_CHNAGE
If anybody having any idea 06 089 -> Quanity is smaller than the quantity Issued please help me.

Issue with printing production order after changes through CO02

Hi,
Currently I have one issue with printing production order changes through CO02. If I go for print, all the operations are captured in printout. But after the print, if I add any new operations to this production order, and then go for print, its not capturing the newly added operations. Also, there is information popup coming "Copies will be printed for order. Original list already printed". This message effectively means, even after changes, when I go for print functionality, its just going for printing copies of original printed list.
Can anyone help me out to get the newly added operations reflected in the print through CO02 ?

Uploading photos through web gallery not working.

People
When people access my web galleries and use the upload feature and it accepts the uploaded files, but, the photos don't appear in the web gallery or get synched to my iPhoto. However, using the upload feature through email does work!
Any ideas on that?
Also, once synched with web galleries on my iPhoto, how come the photos don't automatically appear in the event that the person uploaded the photo to in the fist place? The photos appear in the event under Web Gallery on iPhoto but not the actual event. Does that make sense?

Same prob here (EU).
Looks like uploading through the web interface (while browsing the web gallery) doesn't work.
E-mailing a picture works a treat, though...
Tried also using firefox (I'm on a MBP with all the latest software versions) but no luck!
I've looked also at the contents of my iDisk (it had to be in the loop!) and indeed found that the web gallery is under <.macmember_name>/Web/Sites/gallery/<id> and every picture that's in the gallery has its own folder named after the picture name containing 5 files: *large.jpg, medium.jpg, web.jpg, square.jpg and reflect-medium.jpg* (their meaning is quite obvious...)
The pictures I sent through the web interface didn't produce results in my iDisk whatsoever, while the one I sent using mail had this new folder-files created in the right way...
I think this upload feature is seriously flawed...
