Redirecting internal mail to external mail account

Hi gurus:
I need to know how could I configure SAP to redirect all incoming mail to a SAP user to an external mail account. In other words, I want that all messages sent to an internal SAP user, automatically arrive to an external mail account.
Thanks to all in advance an regards,
Alejandro Gómez.
P.D.: Excuse my bad English.

  • Cannot send internal mail after basic setup

I have setup Exchange 2013 SP1 on Server 2012R2 from scratch. I have added AD users and setup all the mailboxes for them.
However, when I try to send email from OWA to internal mail accounts, other users cannot receive and mail at all.
I have tried to send a email to my own account and I still cannot receive anything.
There is no other setting I have done at all.
Please let me know what information I need to provide to solve the issue.

    Hi,
From your description, I recommend you follow the steps below for troubleshooting:
    1. Enable "Basic Authentication" on the properties of Receive Connector.
    2. Use the Test-ServiceHealth cmdlet to check if all the Windows services that Exchange server requires are running. Especially the Exchange Transport service and Mailbox transport service.
Hope this can be helpful to you.

  • Sending mail to internal mailadres to external smtp

    Hi,
I must have 1 email address from my email-domain (intern and external) that always send the mails to the external smtp-server.
    example:
    mail domain is novellrocks.com
email address create is [email protected]
So when we send internal our external een mail to [email protected] it will be deliverd to the mailbox.
But for this mailbox I explicit wants that the internal mail is first send to an external smtp server thats relay it to the gwia and then delivers its to th mta and then to the po and to the mailbox.
In the past you could send een mail to gwia:[email protected] so it was deliverd external and then get it back through the gwia.
    Thanks

    Hi,
Can you tell me how exactly?
I have tried gwia:email-address but that does not work.
I'm also not shure that it's leave the site externally and not just reenter the smtp-server.

  • Sending Mail: To internal mail adress OK, external mail address KO

    Hi everybody,
I guess this is no XI/PI problem, but I hope some of you had the same problems.
When we are using mail receiver adapter sending an internal mail is OK but if we use an external mail adresse like mister.sample@gmx. de the mail is not received.
We used different external mail adresses to obiate that the problem is not the external mail server.
    We use inhause LOTUS NOTES.
The mail adapter uses the mail package.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks
    Regards
    mario

    Hi Ravi,
now its clear. musunderstanding. As I wrote: The message was already received by LOTUS NOTES. But it is not send to an external mail adress.
There is no error in RWB

  • How can I edit external e-mails accounts configurations I had on Mobile Me mail and now on iCloud?

how can I edit external e-mails accounts configurations I had on Mobile Me mail and now are
    on iCloud?

Thanks for the answer, but the external POP accounts I had in my MobileMe are working in my iCloud! I receive all the e-mails that are directed to those POP accounts, in my iCloud e-mail, since I migrated from Mobileme to iCloud. So, iCloud accepts external accounts, but i doesn't allow us to edit new configurations or to send e-mails using Pop Accounts through it. Very weird. Does anybody have a solution?

  • How to map with GW8 Server external POP3 mail accounts ?

I have "small" simple problem. I have GW Server 8.0.2. I have GW Internet Access (GWIA) installed. I can send e-mailes from clients to internet via built-tin SMTP protocol. It works actually.
But... I try to find place in C1 or wherever else which is responsible for setting list of external POP3 accounts, accounts placed on my current Internet Provider's server. So my simple need is to map, to be able to connect and download as server GW and to server GW many POP3 accounts from my current e-mail Server. And than which e-mail adress (external POP3 account) should be saved to which mailbox / user in my GW Server. I'm not talking about mapping that accounts indirectly, via setting in Clients !!! Everything must go via GW Server and automatically.
I dont want to change that state of course (= reach e-mailes from Internet directly to my local GW Server changing MX in DNS of my domain). Nope. I just want to map, to download posts from external mailboxes via POP3 or IMAP protocole. Nothing else.
I'm fluent in Microsoft systems. There is just simply POP3 Connector for Exchange. SMall utility whish is simple list of login, pass, POP3 server adress and name of mailbox where to save such downloaded e-mailes. I just need the same functionally utility or page in C1 or any other place ;-)))
    ANY HELP ?
Cause Google are blind for that simple "problem" :-((( I know - Novell describes POP3 solution in GW8 Admin book, but... only as I want to be POP3 Server for external clients. This is slightly different, reversed sittuation :-]]] I want to connect to POP3 accounts, not to server POP3 accounts :-]]]]

You need to use an "old" tool called pfa (pop forwarding agent) that came with SBS.
You set the external email server credentials in the user's object via C1 and the java applet runs on the same box as your gwia.

  • Can't add account, am redirected to mail

I am unable to add ANY mail accounts under system preferences.  It hangs and eventually redirects me to mail preferences.  Did keychain & disk repairs & reinstalled Mountain Lion.  Everything works fine on my other Mac.

I can add it in Mail preferences no problem.  I am concerned that not being able to add it as an account might be the sign of a larger issue.

  • Mail and ical randomly change internal server settings for exchange account

Ever since upgrading to Lion, I randomly find that my exchange mail account, my exchange calendar account and my exchange address book go offline.  When I look at the settings, I find that the internal server settings have been changed from the correct address to the word "sites".  Cannot figure this one out.  I have deleted and added the accounts numerous times.  Cannot find any error messages.
Just wondering if anyone else has every experienced this.

The last OSX update 10.8.1 fix it, uncheck Server Autodiscovery and it work perfect

  • Internal mail size, External mail size

    Hello,
    I am using JMS 6.3!
One of my customer has 2 requirements
    1. Can we have mail users who would be allowed to send mails internally only and some users allowed to send internally as well as externally
    2. Can we have, users sending mails to have different message size limit to one sending externally. Ex: Internal mail size 5mb and External Mail size 2mb
    Thanks in advance

    unicsguru wrote:
One of my customer has 2 requirementsWhilst these requirements may sound simple enough they can actually be very tricky to implement depending on the environment.
    1. Can we have mail users who would be allowed to send mails internally only and some users allowed to send internally as well as externallyAre your email users able to send emails via controlled webclients such as UWC/Comms Express and Messenger Express or are they also able to upload emails using clients such as Mozilla Thunderbird?
    2. Can we have, users sending mails to have different message size limit to one sending externally. Ex: Internal mail size 5mb and External Mail size 2mbPer-user quota's can be used to override the default quota sizes set on channels but it doesn't differentiate between the destination of the email.
    http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/819-2650/6n4u4dtqp?a=view
"Source block limits can also be specified on a per sender basis by specifying a user LDAP attribute with the MTA option LDAP_SOURCEBLOCKLIMIT, and adding this attribute to the senders LDAP entry. Source block limits are also supported based on the senders domain. Specify a domain LDAP attribute with the MTA option LDAP_DOMAIN_ATTR_SOURCEBLOCKLIMIT, and adding this attribute to the senders domain LDAP entry. There are no defaults for either of these values."
If you wanted to apply the internal/external limits globally (as in the limit applies to everybody but certain users could 'override' with source-limits) you could to this by setting the default quota to 5MB (so this would apply to internal emails for example) and then set a 2MB blocklimit on the tcp_local channel so that 'external' bound emails get a greater restriction.
    Regards,
    Shane.

  • Can I have a blackberry e-mail account and still get my Outlook e-mails redirected to me

I am using the redirector now to get my work e-mails and I am wondering if you can have a blackberry or other e-mail account on the same phone.  So I would recieve my work e-mails via the redirector and maybe have personal blackberry e-mail account that would go to the same phone?

Yes, as long as you have the proper service plan from your carrier. You must have what is often called The Blackberry Data Plan -- a generic data plan is usually insufficient. Contact your carrier to be sure that you have a plan that provides you with access to their Blackberry Internet Service. Then, use these instructions to configure personal email accounts:

  • Can't get past Syncing mail accounts

    Hello,
As it says in the subject line, my iPhone won't get past Syncing mail accounts. If I deselect the mail account in iTunes then it syncs. I have looked this up and it seems that most people are pointing to a dialogue box that is hidden behind iTunes that needs clicking on but there isn't one with me.
I think that the reason behind the weirdness is that I have just swapped over the hard drive in my computer. I made a clone of my old one using Disk Utility then swapped it over. It synced once without a problem but since then it gets stuck on syncing the mail accounts. This is not the first time I have swapped a hard drive but it's the first time something is misbehaving because of it.
Also, my iTunes library is located on an external hard drive (this is the reason for swapping the internal drive - to get more space) and so was not located on my internal anyway. Having said that, the iPhone apps are located on the internal (there doesn't seem to be a way to change that option) and there was some weirdness with an app that wouldn't sync but I have since deleted.
Sorry for the rambling - any help or advice would be much appreciated.
    All the best.

    I think I get it.
Since my mail accounts were set up fine, there's no need to continue syncing them with iTunes, unless I change mail settings.
I haven't changed, so I should be fine unchecking "Sync selected Mail accounts".
If I do change my mail settings in the future, I can do this independently on the iPhone.
I'm still not sure why this turns into an endless sync - but I can live without re-syncing and "do it myself".
    Did I get that right?
    Thanks, Damon!

  • Apple Mail account suddenly offline, smtp offline

    iMac 27" (late 2009) updated to Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10 and Apple Mail 8.0 (1990.1) 17th October 2014.
Mail accounts in Apple Mail where working as years before until Yesterday, 3th November 2014. Suddenly 2 out of 3 accounts where offline showing the warning triangle icon on the right. Command "go online" and "syncronize" has no effect. Activity in Mail is showing no try to connect. Looking into the account config I see that the SMTP are "offline".
I checked everything and compared to the settings of the one account which is still normal working. Everything is identically set up. Only differences are the domain names, username and pwd. The domain names are on the same external virtual hosts and have same configs. The on the iMac faulty accounts are working on iPad and iPhone like ever and from the same internal network. My hardware firewall or the external mailserver can not be the reason.
I deleted 1) SMTP config, 2) whole mail account, 3) all corresponding keys in keychain and was setting up from new. No chance, they show SMTP offline and do not go online in IMAP. Next was trying to give account #1 the SMTP from the working #3. The SMTP #3 shows fine but near the inbox of account #1 i have again the warning triangle. No go online, no sync, no action in the activity window.
I go setting up Mail with these accounts in a new user. Mail was totally empty as I started config of two accounts. After doing all they where at the same point. No connection possible.
Why is this happend suddenly and after more than 2 weeks after Yosmite update? Why is one account working, two others not anymore?

Sorry, just found the details. Here we go:

  • Establishing E-mail Accounts

[Hope complaining about services is OK on this forum. Please note: sarcasm is just one of my talents.]
Great forum content. Too bad it can't be searched for more specific issues. For all I know, this question has been answered several times already.
My issue concerns establishing e-mail accounts and I'm pretty sure I got the wrong answer from Verizon's 'chat' support.
Per Verizon chat support; "mail sent to any Verizon e-mail account or sub-account will appear to come from, or go to the primary Verizon e-mail account". I don't think this is true as my daughter has 3 different 'verizon.net' e-mail accounts and I can send messages to any or all of them from my Hotmail (or any other) account. The messages arrive at separate mail boxes, and messages she sends appear to come from separate addresses.
VERY strange arrangement if what chat support says is true.
Second issue: Verizon has already established two e-mail accounts for me (?!?). One is based on my user name for 'My Verizon'. The other appears to have been generated by Verizon.net, but bears no resemblance to any other account identifiers. I'd like to establish my own accounts and feel as a mature adult that I might be able to handle it.
Maybe these guys to learn a few things about support from their sister company Verizon Wireless. That end of the business has had good support from the beginning. Started with their predecessor (Airtouch), and is ingrained in their culture.
Keep trying guys, you'll get it.

To answer your second question first; when the account was opened Verizon assigned an internal Verizon ID(i.e... res8s14c random ID but unique) this ID is the primary ID and it cannot be changed or modified, however you are allowed to create what is considered a "Verizon Email Alias" which allows you to create your own user name(depending on availability) and once it gets created it cannot be changed. The Verizon ID and the new user name are now linked and one in the same but with an alias.
    Example: {edited for privacy}@verizon.net = [email protected]
                             Verizon ID                    Verizon User Name(Alias)
Technically if we were to send an email to any of these above, either one will reach the same email user. In the end Verizon creates a Verizon ID for internal purposes and the user creates a user name for external purposes, but they are both linked together.
Once the primary is registered or alias created you are allowed to create/modify/delete any sub-accounts under the primary account. I do have to agree that the messages do not go to the primary email address, each goes to their own address; maybe what the rep from the chat process was trying to say is that any sub account is linked to the primary; the statement  "mail sent to any Verizon e-mail account or sub-account will appear to come from, or go to the primary Verizon e-mail account" most likely refers to sub-accounts being linked to the primary Verizon ID/user name and therefore allowing Verizon to track a sub-account to the main account of origin.

  • Can't delete admin Mail account

    OS 10.3.9 Mail 1.3.11
G4 with a single admin account. The Address book is empty. One POP3 and a .mac mail account for the admin. No sig cards. I want to delete the admin's Mail account(s). I'm basing things on the following statement in Mail Help
"The first time you open Mail, it automatically sets up accounts for you using the information from the .Mac pane of System Preferences and the Setup Assistant. If no information is found, you will be prompted to set up a new account."
I figure that if I delete all the admin's mail accounts and then Quit Mail then the next time Mail is launched it will prompt for a new account. Not! Looks like I can't seem to attain the "no information found" state. Here's what I've done.
    Mail:Preferences:Accounts
Shows 2 accounts - one for POP3 and one for .mac
Selected each and clicked "-". All accounts deleted.
    Quit Mail and re-launched it.
Get a prompt asking if I want to import mail. I say No.
    Mail:Preferences:Accounts
The same 2 accounts are back again - does this over and over
I go to the .Mac Pane of System Preferences
The .Mac tab shows some values for Mac Member Name and Password
I delete the values and close the .Mac Pane
    Launch Mail again
    Mail:Preferences:Accounts
Now only the POP3 account shows up - so I got rid of one of them
No matter how many times I delete the POP3 account, it is regenerated the next time Mail is launched. Evidentally when Mail is launched, it finds my e-mail address, password, user name, Full Name, and server values - so it automatically regenerates that account. But where does it find it, and how can I get rid of it? And what/where is this Setup Assistant the Help message refers to?
I'm giving this G4 to another, with a sanitized 10.3.9 (to remove all traces of me), and I want Mail to prompt the new owner for a new Mail account so that he can populate it with his own information. But instead, it rebuilds my old account. Not sanitized enough yet. Maybe the mysterious Setup Assistant remembers old values somehow?
    TIA
    Eric

Here's the complete picture. The G4 internal drive has OS 9.2.2. An external FW drive attached to the G4 has 10.3.9 (G4 boots both). The plan was to clean/sanitize 10.3.9 and then, from 10.3.9, use SuperDuper! to clone it to another partition on the FW drive. Then erase the internal OS 9.2.2 disk and then restore the 10.3.9 clone to the internal G4 drive. The FW drive will not be given to the new person. SuperDuper! ignores deleted files so the resulting internal 10.3.9 drive in the G4 will have no sectors with deleted information that could be subject to data mining. Not exactly a clean install but hopefully not harmful.
I have the Panther install disks but they only install 10.3.3 and I don't want to go through the effort of downloading the huge combo updater again and applying it. Thought it would be easier to do an "approximate clean" install of my current 10.3.9 to the G4's internal disk. However, this problem with the Mail setup assistant has me worried. Even if I could get rid of that problem, I now worry that there will be still more sensitive artifacts laying around in the existing admin's home directory.
So, I plan to boot into the 10.3.9 clone system, create a new account and give it admin authority, and then delete the old existing admin account to get rid of its home directory . I'll delete SuperDuper! on this clone as well. The resulting 10.3.9 clone will then be restored to the G4 internal drive.
At this point it is mainly intellectual curiosity that drives me to solve the setup assistant problem. The nerve of that thing to resurrect old deleted account information rather than letting me build a new account with different information.
    Thanks for your time.

  • Cannot redirect voice mails: Unable to relay

    Hi,
we recently subscribed to office365.  Some of our users prefer to redirect their mails to their own email address via a simple redirect rule that applies to all messages.  For the most part, it works fine, except that all voicemails are not being
redirected and they bounce back with a '550 5.7.1 Unable to relay' error.
    Any advice?
The following is a sample of the exact error message, except, email addresses, dns names, and IP's are fictional:
mail.domain.com rejected your message to the following email addresses:
    [email protected]
    mail.domain.com gave this error:
    Unable to relay
Your message wasn't delivered due to a permission or security issue. It may have been rejected by a moderator, the address may only accept email from certain senders, or another restriction may be
    preventing delivery.

    Hi,
Since you are able to send emails to internal domain i assume the application server IP address already allowed into Receive Connector.
To relay application emails to external domain you should enable Externally Secured box in the Authentication Tab of the particular Receive Connector.
