Redirecting links in event summaries

I have been placing URLs in the "notes" section of a syllabus posted the normal way to .mac
When a user clicks on an event, a small window pops up with Subject, Start Date, End Date, and Summary, which now contains a live link to the URL. So far, so good.
That link is (today) constructed as:
http://ical.mac.com/redirect/http://www.myserver/filename.extension
Sometime recently, this has STOPPED WORKING, in particular, the "redirect" script is producing:
Forbidden
You were denied access because:
Access denied by access control list.
I don't know if this is because someone at Apple has messed with the redirect script, or if this redirection mess with the URL has recently been added (and not yet debugged by Apple, apparently...) This has worked all semester until a student noticed it last night.
By the way, the base URL http://www.myserver/filename.extension works fine
(so if you go up to the address bar and edit out the redirect part, it works, i.e., it is not MY server that is giving the access error, but the ical.mac.com server...)

I'm very glad to see that this isn't just my own personal dilemma. My Apple is down at the moment and as a result I'm forced to use my elderly parent's Dell. They have had my brother-in-law, who works with the LAN at Invesco Field (Denver), install umpteen internet security programs and I have been pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to turn the redirect function back on.
I hope this is fixed in the near future.

You will need an extra external drive. All moves must be done within iMovie to preserve your links to the projects.
First Move (command-drag) the event to the extra drive. Make sure the project still works.
Then rename, reformat, or repartition your drive as needed. Then, if you want, move the Event back to the newly named drive, again via Command-Drag within iMovie.

OIM 11g: Form Version of Linked Recon Event

If an old reconciliation event is linked (Ad-hoc link) to a user, what form version is given to the form?
The current active version?
The active version at the time the recon event was created?
Based on our testing, it appears as though #2 is the answer. Somehow the form version at time of recon is retained, and given to the form when the recon event is linked.
Is this expected behavior? In our environment we'd like for #1 to be the case, and we can't seem to find a way to prevent this from happening. (The FVC util doesn't seem to help here).
How can we ensure any linked recon events always get the current active form version?

If anyone else is running into this, the "current" and "active" form versions are stored in the recon profile XML files. So, if you update a form version, you need to also regenerate the recon profiles to bring them up to the current active version.

Lost link to event files after upgrade to OS Mavericks

I recently upgraded my iMac from OS 10.7 (Lion) to OS 10.9.1 (Mavericks). I am using Premier Pro CC. During the upgrade, the link to event files on incompleted projects was lost. Can someone help me reestablish these lost links?

Clips represent your media, but they are not the media files themselves. The clips in a project simply point to (link to) the source media files on your hard disk. This link was lost when I upgraded and I hope there is someway to reestablish this link without starting the projects from scratch.

How to link an event and a script ?

This event manager is not easy to deal with !
I need to link several events to a script by script.
For this command by hand, the script listener says :

where the single parameter is "1".
It is the number assigned to the script file inside a .XML file in the "Adobe potoshop CS4 setting" folder in the user file space.
But where is the event parameter ? (it was "select" in this case)
In fact this command clandestinely links the event name and the file full path into the TW0001.DAT file inside th esame folder. Fine !
But modifying this file outside PS does not change the links into PS: so it is also recorded in memory.
How to synchronize this data by script ?
After many and many tests to guess how to program the event manager, I hope somebody knows this final answer.

Both the Script Event Manager and app.notifiers.add require the full path to a javascript file and don't accept arguments for the script. I am not sure what you are trying to do. You could have the script read the needed arguments from somewhere like an text or xml file or even CustomOptions.
If you want the event to call one of several scripts depending on the arguments then after the argument is read you could have if or switch statements to eval the needed scripts.

Newbe: Redirect from an event listener

We are using WLP 10.
I have created an event listener and I want to redirect the user when the attached event is triggered. I see that the handleEvent function receives a parameter of type Event, which has the session_id as a string parameter. But how do I actually make the redirection using that Event object? Or is there any way to retrieve the request?
I have looked through the documentation and searched for examples but without any luck...

Having a look at the Interaction documentation for WLP 10, apparently this should be possible. And it should also be possible to have real-time response from the listeners:

Linking Calendar Events to Documents stored in finder

When i get an invitation i want to put an 'event' in my diary. Then I would like a link from the event to the original invitation stored in finder. Is there a way to put a link in a calendar to a file? Hence when severl months on I encounter the event I can click on a link and find the original invite.

Linked Recon event does not show up in user's provisioned resources

I am totally new at this Orcale OIM stuff and I have looked through this forum and have not found an answer. I have configured the connector and and (I think) successfully ran the EBS_TR_User task limiting it to one specific user. It runs and I do not see any errors. It did create an entry in the Recon Event Manager in the design console and the event indicates that the EBS user is "linked" to the expected OIM user. The recon event also shows the responsibility that is in EBS for the user. However, what I do not understand is that when I look at the user in OIM and select to display the resource profile for the user, the responsibility does not show in OIM.
Why does it not show in OIM? Is there something I am missing to cause it not to appear? Or is there another step I need to complete to make it appear? Or does it just not ever appear? Does anyone know what to do after the EBS_TR_User scheduled task runs or where I can find information on this? Any insight or direction is greatly appreciated !!

Well take care of Martin's Suggestion to first of all identify that its Trusted Source or Target Resource model of reconciliation you are running. This is how you can identify that:
- Check it against the Connector Documentation Or
- Go to the Resource Object against which you are running this reconciliation. Check the Trusted check box. If this is checked then you are running Trusted Mode and in this case you won't be able to see those Responsibilities in the Resource Profile of Users.
Now if the above condition is not true and the mode is not Trusted then make sure you have the following rule condition defined.
One Entity Match Found -> Establish Link
One Process Match Found -> Establish Link *(For Later on identification of same Account)*

Differentiate Next and Previous link click events in Table Region

Hello,
Is there a way to find out whether "Next" link or the "Previous" link was clicked in a Table region when the user tries to navigate to a different range set?
Both "Next" and "Previous" links raise the event "goto". I need to manipulate the range start and range size of another VO. i.e., if Next was clicked I would want to increase the range start of another VO and If "Pevious" was clicked, I would want to decrease this range start.

Capture URL Link click event in ProcessFormRequest

Hi All,
I have requirement to capture the event and do some validation/dialog page whenever a URL Link is clicked on my Page.
I can handle the button click event in ProcessFormRequest, if I use a Button and sets its destination URI to a URL
However, if its a standard hyperlink or Image and Destination URI is set. The event is not being captured in ProcessFormRequest.
Is there any other alternative, apart from changing the Image to Button. Thats the restriction. Its has to be Image.
Or how to capture that event, when the URL is clicked.

The page I am working on is the standard Oracle Page ( Receiving Home Page in iProcurement). This page has table of Requisitions which can be Received.
Express Receive image is present corresponding to each Requisition in the tablelayout.
Once the express receive is clicked ( Destination URI property is set to OAFunc= Final Review Page Parameter= Req Header ID), the Review page is displayed with Submit button.
So as to change the ActionType of the Express Receive Image, I need to then customize the page and also extend the standard Controller code.
Instead just extending the COntroller to capture the URL click event
I guess, the URL click event cannot be captured in Controller. Hence the Property has to be changed and handled by code.
What i am worryin for this solution is that, whether the specific Requisition Header ID which is passed on the URL link, can be passed similiarly while writing the code for the Action Type of the Express Image. Or the code would though take to Review Page but miss out the specific Req Header ID against which it was clicked.

Why is my safari redirecting links to spam/other unrelated links?

Everytime I try to click anything on safari it opens a new tab and redirects it to an unrelated or junk/spam link. Also when on a shopping site there is a dynamic pricer add that always pops up

There is no need to download anything to solve this problem.
You may have installed the "VSearch" trojan. Remove it as follows.
Malware is always changing to get around the defenses against it. These instructions are valid as of now, as far as I know. They won't necessarily be valid in the future. Anyone finding this comment a few days or more after it was posted should look for more recent discussions or start a new one.
Back up all data before proceeding.
Step 1
From the Safari menu bar, select
          Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
Uninstall any extensions you don't know you need, including any that have the word "Spigot," "Trovi," or "Conduit" in the description. If in doubt, uninstall all extensions. Do the equivalent for the Firefox and Chrome browsers, if you use either of those.
Reset the home page and default search engine in all the browsers, if it was changed.
Step 2
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Right-click or control-click the line and select

This trojan is often found on illegal websites that traffic in pirated content such as movies. If you, or anyone else who uses the computer, visit such sites and follow prompts to install software, you can expect more of the same, and worse, to follow.
You may be wondering why you didn't get a warning from Gatekeeper about installing software from an unknown developer, as you should have. The reason is that the Internet criminal behind VSearch has a codesigning certificate issued by Apple, which causes Gatekeeper to give the installer a pass. This failure of oversight has compromised both Gatekeeper and the Developer ID program. You can't rely on Gatekeeper alone to protect you from harmful software.

Q1 : When I add a new description into the column then the event it adds automatically a new URL (equal = web.Url + "/" + linkDescription) into link URL.

ICal publishing link includes events that are not on calendar

I have an event that is showing up in the publish link of iCal, even though it is not on the calendar itself. I have search my computer inside and out and cannot find where it is coming from. I need to get this deleted off asap! Can anyone help?? Thanks!

Tried these...still didn't work.
I believe it was put in through entourage before we began using iCal in 2006. I had set it up on my iBook. We transferred everything to my new Macbook Pro in 2007. This is the only entry that I have had a problem with. It has been showing up ever since then and we haven't had any luck getting rid of it.
We only used the entourage a short time before changing to the iCal. Short of setting up a new calendar and then going one by one and changing the events to the new calendar I don't know what else to do. This is for a church calendar that we have linked to our website, so it will take a little while to get everything done. If that doesn't work, I will just give up!

Redirect 3D tollbar events

Hi!
Due to the requirements I disabled the 3D toolbar and created custom buttons that can perform the needed features of the toolbar. So far I was able to create buttons that can act as pan, rotate, and zoom buttons. I'm missing two more features: "default view" and "toggle cross section". Is there a way to redirect these events to my own buttons?
