Redown load purchased music ,if i need to deauthorize one of my other pc devices that i no loger have ?

i need help please
need to find out how do i deauthorize a device that i no longer have ,so i can redown load puurchased music from my itunes acct.can someone please help me thanks

Individual computers can only be de-authorised directly on them. But if you've reached the 5 computer limit then you should be able to login to your iTunes account and de-authorise all (which can do once every 12 months), and you can then re-authorise the computers that you still have/need : de-authorising/authorising .

  • Had old PC with iTunes including music from my CDs, want to transfer it all to iTunes installed on my new PC...so far it only seems to be letting my load "purchased music"...how do I also salvage numerous other songs on my iPhone to my new PC/iTunes?

How do I bring music from my CDs in iTunes from an old PC to iTunes recently installed on my new PC?  The music is all on my iPhone as well.

To clarify, on my iPhone and in iTunes on my old PC I have a combination of purchased music from the iTunes store and music I had imported several years ago from my collection of music CDs.  It appears if I now sync from my new PC via iTunes, it will wipe all of the music from my iPhone and then sync up only the music I've purchased from the iTunes Store.

Easiest way is to use Migration Assistant application in /Applications/Utilities/ on your computer.
This will migrate all yoru user data from old computer.

Please read this post then provide some details.  What operating system? Are there any error messages on the printer or computer screen when printing fails?

  • I recently purchased music and a few songs only downloaded half way through, why is that and how can i fix it?

I recently purchased music and a few songs only downloaded half way through, why is that and how can i fix it?

I think this is a more general problem Apple are having at the moment. I have just written in another thread:
"I am having this problem too. There have been quite a few other threads about it. It applies to single tracks too. They appear to download OK, and show as the right file size and length, but stop playing well before the end and iTunes moves on to the next track. Redownloading them helps sometimes but not always.
I have only had this problem for the last week or so. The longer the track the more likely there is to be a problem (perhaps obviously)."
I think it is the tracks themselves rather than iTunes. If you export the problematic track to the Desktop and try playing it with Quicktime it stops in just the same place.

If it is a lightning to 30 pin adaptor, and you have a 7th Generation Nano it has to fit the Nano.
This is lightning to 30 pin adapter: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Apple%26%23174%3B---Lightning-to-30-Pin-Adapter/6651 936.p?id=1218803450821&skuId=6651936#tab=overview
    Is this what you bought?
You need to contact Sony and see if they model you have is compatible with the docking adapter. It may not be.

  • HT1420 i need to authorize my current computer and deauthorize one of the other five.  I cant get to the point of just doing one it says deauthorize all

I need to deauthorize one of mu five computers but it does not allow me to select  only option is to deauthorize all

You may only de-authorize a single computer from that computer. If you don't have access to the other authorized computers then you must deauthorize all of them.

In iTunes you use the Authorize This Computer or De-authorize This Computer option under the Store menu in iTunes' menubar. For Windows use the ALT-S keys to access it. Or turn on Windows 7 and 8 iTunes menus: iTunes- Turning on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7.
More On De-authorizing Computers (contributed by user John Galt)
You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
      1. Open iTunes on a computer
      2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
      3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
      4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
      5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us.

  • Re down load purchased music

Can I re down load music I purchased from Itunes? The music was backed up on my external hard drive. When setting up a new PC, the drive failed.

    Hello Athur,
Purchases from the iTunes store, with the exception of Apps, are a one time download only. You'll need to repurchase them in order to get them back.  However, some have contacted iTunes support about the issue, and they were granted a free download of all their content again.  Worth a shot.  You can contact them using this link.

  • IPhoto 4.03 & iTunes 6.04, purchased music says, it needs to be authorized.

iPhoto 4.03 & iTunes 6.04, my purchased music keeps saying it needs to be authorized, for my computer. I select a piece of music for an iPhoto slide show and repeatedly go through the authorization process and then no music; no matter how many times, I try. Any Suggestions?

Good point... In trying to save a step or two, I didn't think it completely through. But cannot iTunes' DRM be removed by simply burning a playlist to CD? Your track(s) should then be available from that CD (or for import from it) for your slideshow.

  • I can't load purchased music

I was having some serious issues with my os, so I erased the hd and started over. I restored my music and pictures from an external hd. Now, when I connect my ipod, I get a prompt stating that I can't load about 100+ songs because I am not authorized to play them on "this computer" meaning my ipod.

Is there a way to re download purchased items?
Every time you download music from the iTunes store Apple have to pay the artist royalties, so the official stance from Apple is that purchases from the iTunes music store can only be downloaded one time. Then, you must pay again.
This is why you are prompted to back this music up to a cd or dvd.
Some people say that they've been allowed a re-download for various reasons when they've contacted Apple.
You can only ask but please be aware that Apple are not obligated to do this for you.

  • Can I purchase music using two AppleID / Passwork using one iTunes on computer and sync all purchased music on to one iPad

Can I purchase music using two Apple ID & Password using one iTunes on one computer and sync purchased music to iPad 2?

After having thought about this, I realized, sometime later, that I gave you bad information. You can NOT sync to multiple iTunes libraries with one iPad. I was thinking about using one iPad with mulitple computers and you have to set you device to manage the music manually to do that - you don't sync.
    Sorry about the incorrect information,

Perform the updates using a computer with iTunes.  You can also back up prior to upgrading doing it that way.
