Redownload apps on new phone

Hi all,
I recently bought a N97, and also downloaded/bought some apps from ovi store. But because of a failing gps on my first N97, I now have another N97. I managed to migrate contacts etc using bluetooth, but my apps are gone.
I thought ovi would have something to redownload bought applications, but appearently not.. How can I get my bought apps back?
The same applies for games from n-gage...
Everything is done through accounts, why isn't it possible to reinstall apps and games? Or am I missing something?

Might want to check which Itunes/Apple id was used to download the APPs. Right click on the APP in the library and go to info, it will tell you which account was used to get the APP. If it is a different account than what you expect, just authorize the computer for that account too. Go to http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1389 for more information.

All apps (and other content from the store) are tied to the account that downloaded them, whether or not they are free. To do in-app purchases in that app you will either need to log in with the account that downloaded it, or delete it (which will delete its content) and download it with your currently logged in account if you want to do IAPs on that account.

I got an new iphone 5, (traded in my iphone 4), and can't figure out how to transer my old apps onto the new device. I think I had saved all my old phone's info.... But the only things on my new phone now are the photos, texts, contacts.. Help!

Cant understand why they wouldnt be your library unless you deleted them. Any Apps that were missing you go to the itunes store, look at purchased section and re download them, ifthey arent in your purchase history locate them in the store, if you havr paid for them once you can redownload them for free if they were free apps then simply download again.

Apps On New phone

So I got a new phone and my apps won't load on this one. It says that my computer isn't authorized but it is. I've authorized and deauthorized it several times and no dice. I only have three computers authorized for my itunes log in. And three phones. My old one, New one, and my wife's. Someone please tell me what to do.
Edit: So I can redownload the apps on the phone but when i plug it into the computer to sync i get a message:
This Computer is no longer authorized for applications that are installed on the iphone "Iphones Name". Would you like to authorize this computer for items purchased from he iTunes store?
If you do not authorize this computer, the application and it's data will be deleted from this iPhone.
I click authorize and it fails to do so.

HT201302 transfer photos and apps to new phone

so i activated my new iphone 5 today and seem to be having a problem. After i backed my old iphone 4 information to my computer i plugged in my new phone transfer all content over. The only thing that transferred were the contacts! is this normal? all of my pictures, apps, and content are not showing. I contacted apple and they basically told me to go in itunes under edit and preferences and check some boxes whih i have done. However, when i am connecting the new phone to to computer it still doesn't want to sink the content?

@Balairo, what make/model phone did you have? Some devices have a memory card that you can transfer from the old phone to insurance replacement phone. I apologize that if the screen is non functional, there is no other additional option other than connecting it to a computer to upload your pictures to a PC. I hope this information is helpful to you. ^LH

Cannot login to app on new phone - Thinks I'm registering

I got a new galaxy s6 (previously also had a galaxy s5). I attempted to login with my usual email and password, but I received the error message, "You've already created an account with this email address." I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, restarted my phone and tried multiple times to login. The app seems to think I am trying to register my email. Anyone else having this issue the last few days? Help, please!

Help getting old apps on new phone!!!

I got an iP6 this morning with Vodafone (moved from iP5 with o2). I backed up my 5 to icloud last night and tried to restore from last back up on new phone this morning, I can see my apps but most say "loading" but aren't doing anything. Can someone help?

Missing apps on new phone

My wife had her iphone 4 replaced under warranty. She had not backed it up recently so the apple technician backed it up to the iCloud before setting up the new phone. After the data download completed to the new phone, a number of her apps are missing. How do i restore them? I saw that syncing to itunes does not work with the cloud turned on. Do I turn the cloud off then manuall

Yeah if the purchases are on your computer, temporairily turn off syncing with iCloud -> sync with your computer instead (choosing to transfer any purchases from the device on to your computer when/ if prompted) -> Sync normally -> Purchases should re- appear! -> Turn back on iCloud Sync
Another alternative way would be to just open up iTunes (on your iPhone) -> Go to Purchases (or something like that) -> and find/ select the download purchases not on device option
- (my iPad is downstairs atm on charge, so sorry my answer is a little vague, but I'm sure you'll work it out - it's something along those lines.....)
Also enable automatic downloading of purchases from your Apple ID on both devices (iPhone and Computer). This can be done in the Settings of your iPhone, and the preferences of iTunes on your computer. It's just a useful feature for the future.....

Restore old apps on new phone?

Just got a new iPhone 5s. The old one went for a little swim.
The App Store knows what apps I used to have installed; they have a different "download" button than all the others do. Therefore, there's a list up there somewhere.
Is it possible to tell this thing to just install everything that I used to have installed? It is infinitely tedious to wrack my brain remembering them all and then painstakingly peck each name into the tiny little box.
iTunes has an "Apps" thing but all it has is the home screen "page" layouts, and the only icons on them when I first plugged the phone in were stuff that came with the OS. As I install more, they appear on the computer screen. Is there some option I should have had checked in order to enable iTunes to keep track of what was installed?
Also, sync by wifi is enabled, but broken: When I unplug the cable, the phone vanishes from iTunes. Is this no longer supported?

Is there a way to transfer PDFs that are in a Adobe reader app on iPhone 4 to a computer or iPhone 5c? The old phone has already been deactivared.

PDF documents are not "in a Adobe reader app"; they are just files stored on your device. You can transfer them as you would any other files.
If the device is still active, you could upload them to https://cloud.acrobat.com/ to share with other devices, but if it's deactivated you will probably need a cable or similar connection.

Lost apps on new phone. How do I get them back?

I recently switched to the 5s. When I transfered everything I didn't get the apps that I already purchased. Is this because the cloud didn't back them up? If so can I still retrieve them or are they washed? I already looked under the updates section and didn't see them. Thanks

You're apps should be in your itunes, so sync your phone to your computer and open itunes.
Apps aren't part of the backup only the app data.

I had to get a new iPhone 5 and downloaded my existing apps through iCloud. However, one of the apps from my old phone was upgraded and I paid a yearly subscription fee. When I received my new phone and downloaded this upgraded app, my new phone did not recognize my paid subscription and now is prompting me for another upgrade. Do not sync contacts, since your mountain lion has contacts of your husband.
Verify, that you use separate icloud accounts. Do not sync anything with itunes (including your apps and music) until you sign in to your own icloud account, after you verify that you have your own contacts on the phone.

How did the apps get on your old iPhone?
They get on your new iPhone in the same way.
All apps on your old iPhone should be in your iTunes library on your computer. Transfer the apps to your new iPhone via the iTunes sync process.
