When I try To Redownload 3 Songs From and Some Tv Shows From Cloud It's "This Computer Is Already Associated With Apole ID." "You Can Download Past Purchases On This Computer With Just One Apple ID every 90 Days. This Computer Can Be used With a Different Apple ID in 62 Days." Does Mean When I Redownload These Songs when 62 days Are Past lose My current Account For 90 days?

As long as you don't redownload any of the account's past purchases (or use iTunes Match or automatic downloads) then a 90 day association shouldn't start

When you turn on iTunes Match or Automatic Downloads, or when you download past purchases on an iOS device or computer, that device or computer becomes associated with your Apple ID. Your Apple ID can have up to 10 devices and computers (combined) associated with it, with a maximum of 5 computers at any time. Each computer must also be authorized using the same Apple ID. Once a device or computer is associated with your Apple ID, you cannot associate that device or computer with another Apple ID for 90 days.

Help! For some reason i-tunes 12 wont allow users to re-download past purchases all at once like it used to. Is there a way around this? It will only allow you to download what it calls "Recent Purchases" which in my case only would allow 250 items. I know i have at least 700 tracks if not substantially more possibly over 2000 tracks but I can't be sure. I don't know how to find that information, I've looked in itunes under the my account past purchases but id doesn't tell you how many total songs you have purchased or any relevant details. It only shows you small chunks of receipts by date but no total tracks purchased in an easy to view snapshot that I could find. The current support page says that if you have more then 2000 songs the "ALL SONGS" tab now listed above the left pan with all your purchased artists, will change to "Recent Purchases". IF apple changed this on purpose to stop user from downloading there entire library to cut down on bandwidth they have really upset me this time. At present the only way I can download all past purchases is by selecting each artist listed in the left pan one by one selecting the "Download ALL" button at the bottom right corner of the page at which point I have to input my apple password each time, which really slows things down. I have hundreds of artists and if this is the only way for customers to re-download there entire library this is ridiculous and really unnecessary to put customers through this kind hassle just to re-download all there past purchases when the whole idea of i-cloud is to make downloading and using your music simple, quick, and convenient on multiple devices. I know the old saying "your responsible for backing up your data" yeah I know that and I've been doing that for years when no one really should ever have had too. There is no reason a service that sells music digitally should not allow customers to be able to re download content purchased on there service regardless of the fact that people should just back up anyway as an extra precaution. Well sometimes backups fail like in my case and I have to re-download. No wonder paid subscription plans are so popular. You don't have to deal with any of these issues. I can only hope this is some kind of oversight by apple and will be fixed soon. Can anyone offer a quicker solution or any information about this issue? I would greatly appreciate any helpful assistance.
Again this is for Windwos 8.1 x64 with Itunes 12.0.1.26

After spending way too much time dealing with this issue myself, I discovered that you can:
- Within "My Music", select all the songs you need to download (all w/ the cloud icon - use Shift-Click)
- Right click and select download
All songs will begin downloading from iCloud

Just got a new computer.(old one crashed and burned) how do i redownload my past purchases.

Log into store with the same Apple ID used to purchase. Go to Purchases page to redownload past purchases.

You can use multiple AppleIDs to purchase new music but you are limited as to how frequently you can change authorizations for re-downloading past purchases. It may well be a measure to deter piracy by stopping a group of people from going around to a friend's computer and downloading purchases on the other person's computer. It is easy to avoid by making sure you have backup copies on drives at home so you never need to redownload anything.

Bare with me...I need to explain the situation first.
I purchased an external harddrive and with the help of phone support, I moved some(most) of my itunes stuff to that hard drive. However, when I sync my iphone, it occasionally says something like..."did not sync song because it could not be found".
When I typed in the finder thing at the top right corner of my screen (spotlight?), I searched for itunes media. I found one file but it doesn't show me it's location. So I started looking (I'm still new to this) but I think I found 2 itunes media folders...1 on my imac harddrive and the other in my external harddrive.
After reading some of the online posts regarding downloads, I discovered that it is possible to redownload something you purchased before and NOT be billed again. I know that when I download an app in my iphone and then delete it, if I go to download it again, it tells me i already downloaded it and can download it again for free...so no problems there.
However, my interest is to greatly reduce the amount of "stuff" I have in my external harddrive as well as my internal harddrive. But before going into my external harddrive and deleting all 8 seasons of 24...which is something like 250gigs, I wanted to test the theory. So I looked for something cheap that I downloaded. I would then delete that and then go into the itunes store to redownload it again.
One thing I also want to mention, I read that there should be a purchased tab in my itunes store. Either I don't have it, or don't know where to look. One other thing I read is that it might be not available to me based on where I live. I live in Toronto, Ontario.
Back to what I did. I deleted an episode of Wallace and Gromit (kids show). Then went in itunes to download the same episode. When I checked my account information...it shows that I was just charged for that download...AGAIN! Now granted it was only $2.99...apparently this doesn't need to be the case.
So...going back to the 2 itunes media folders. I checked my system preferences and saw that itunes was set to save downloads here.../users/"my name"/music/itunes/itunesmedia. This folder is on my imac. However, the Wallace and Gromit video was on my external. So when I deleted it, I removed it from my external drive.
So here's what I have done so far...I went into the system preferences and proceeded to change the path to my external harddrive.
Now...before I go and delete something else...am I doing things correctly?
Also...what should the path be in itunes? I suspect it should be to my imac so that anything I download, downloads successfully to my internal harddrive...and then I drag and drop into my external...
I also want to mention that I have a time capsule as well. So basically...I want to keep my imac and time capsule free of as much media as possible...My computer and timecapsule each have 1 TB and I nearly maxed them out...I take alot of home videos with an HD camera...I had no idea how much that would add up.

I have switched to my regular PC, from my laptop that is now old and not so useful. I am disappointed that now I have to wait 90 days to get all the purchases I made from my laptop to my computer. Why is this? Why can't it be that simple?

The 90 days association to an account should only start if you use iTunes Match or automatic downloads on an account, or redownload an account's past purchases : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627 - I believe that it's an attempt to try and stop people sharing/downloading their content on other people's computers/devices.
If you can't wait for the 90 days to complete then you could try contacting iTunes Support and see if they can remove the association, but doing either of those three things on a different account is likely to start an association to that account instead : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

If for some reason you have failed to do the basics and do not have a backup copy, then you can redownload itunes purchases in some countries:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
You can also transfer itunes purchases from an ipod: File>Transfer Purchases
Always maintaining a backup copy of your computer is very important.

I've somehow deleted all my iTunes music. All the file names are still in the library but every time I select one I get the "can't find original file" message and now it won't let me download my past purchases. How do I fix this?

Do you still have them in your computer's recycle bin/trashcan that you can restore them from ?
If not then what you can redownload will show under the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage. If music shows there (it won't in all countries) but doesn't have the cloud symbol against then try deleting the tracks so that they are no longer listed in the Music part of your library (where you are getting the 'unable to locate' message) and they should then get the cloud symbol in Purchased. Or you can tick the 'shows iTunes in the Cloud purchases' tick box on the Store tab in Edit > Preferences (iTunes > Preferences if using a Mac) and they should then show with the cloud icon in the Music part of your library so that you can redownload them from there (again you will need to delete the missing tracks for them to potentially show for redownloading).
If you've changed countries since downloading them then you won't be able to redownload them, nor if the rights-holder has removed them from the store.

??? That article has pretty clear instructions on how to redownload anything that is redownloadable (audiobooks are not, but that is the only thing). The istructions for the iTunes store on an iOS device are the third link down from the top, and from a computer the last link.
