         Thank you in advance.

Hi ,
I have used printjob in my project for printing. I have a stage with images, shapes and text etc in printing group. While printing, it takes some two to three minutes to getting a single page. The Print Spooler window shows that 60MB for each page.
file size is 60MB per page, which takes long time to print any solution?

    Hi
I am able to customize  Adobe PDF  printer page size in Printer Preferences in admin login but not able to customize  Adobe PDF  printer page size in domian users login...
can I have a solution to customize  Adobe PDF  printer page size in domin user login

WOW! I was amazed to see that within minutes of posting my initial thread, I tried something that works.
Apparently, the only way is will actually convert is if you select the regular Print option in the File tab. Then, change the Printer to Adobe PDF & the Paper Size to 11x17. It also worked for 36"x48" becuase I created a custom size named "Poster", so I changed the paper size to Poster & it worked!
I hope this helps someone. I searched for an existing forum on this issue off & on for MONTHS before creating this thread. If anyone has any suggestions why the Adobe PDF tab /PDF Maker wouldn't work, I'd like to know.

  • Fix header/footer size to print page size

Hi, is there a way to fix the font size of the header/footer to the print page size?
Example, when printing 1 PDF in letter, but the pages are from various sized originals, I want all the headers and footers to be the same size on the final letter size printed document. Currently the header and footer changes to the original page size.
    HELP?????

CR doesn't have an option to print just one part of the page. Your only option is to hide all parts you don't want to print first.
Also, you should post your question to the Legacy Developer forum. I'll move it there for you.

  • Need to reduce the page size, not the file size (shrink the page to allow for binding)

What is the output device - it is best to set scaling there, or scale while printing from Acrobat. The only means to accomplish

    Print to Adobe PDF printer.
Define a page size in the Properties of the PDF Printer

  • PDF Printer Page Size Limitation

I have been creating documents in Microsoft Publisher 2007 & have been trying to convert them to PDF via the Acrobat PDF Maker. When I am dealing with 11x17 & Poster size (36"x48"), the PDFMaker gets into the Converting Process (60%) then displays the following option:
PDF Page Size in Adobe PDF printer is small causing pages to be split.
Press OK to convert without preserving transparency, bookmarks & links.
Press Cancel to choose a bigger sheet (at least 17.00 by 11.00 inches)
I hit cancel & have changed every Page Size option I can find including:
the Change Conversion Settings, in the Adobe PDF tab in Publisher
Conversion Settings: (Created custom setting with default page size)
Printers & Faxes in Control Panel
    Adobe PDF Printer
    Printing Preferences
Changed default settings & page size
I even changed the output paper 11x17
Yet, it never fails to try to convert everything into letter size. It seems as though it won't do anything over Letter size.
I have Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard & running Windows XP.

  • What's the maximum print (page) size supported by CS5 64-bit?

I'm using 64-bit Windows 7, Photoshop CS5 64-bit, and have 24GB of RAM. I've put together some panoramas - big ones, up to 20'-30' long. I know the 32-bit version of Photoshop on a 32-bit processor and OS had a page size limit of around 108" long or so. To print anything longer than that required the use of an expensive RIP.
Does anyone know if my 64-bit goodness will allow me to print panos that are 20 to 30 feet long, without having to purchase a RIP? I'd simply give it a try, but I hate to waste a ton of paper just to find out that it wouldn't print completely. Any ideas?
    Thanks much!
    Scott

I think that some print drivers have a limit too, you might want to state what driver you are using.
Some printers do not use a driver, but an export module, that should alleviate all limits.
I remember a very old 30.000 pixel limit, that, I think has been lifted. you want to check the reference documents.

  • The printer page size setting is not working in Photoshop 5.1 with Xerox printer

I am attempting to print an output size larger than 8.5 x 11 and Photoshop will not change the size even though the printer setting is now at the larger size.  Illustrator and other programs will print but but Photoshop fails.  This is an issue in both the 32 and 64 bit versions.  Help!

I found the following on the Xerox site...tip of the hat to T Robinson:
Re: Photoshop CS6 on Win 7x64 prints only letter size on Workcentre 7655
    03-20-2013 12:28 PM
We have a Xerox WorkCentre 7435 PCL6, and I have been having a similar problem. I found a workaround in Photoshop CS5, which I will describe in case it is helpful to others. I just upgraded to Photoshop CS6 however, and the workaround no longer works with it. Instead I get an error message if I print a Job History Report. The message is partially cut off at the right margin of the page, but the part I can read says, "Completed with error(016-799): Print Instructi...on Fail detected in Decomposer." (The ellipsis indicates the part of the message that is cut off. What follows it appears on the next line down. I downloaded all updates to CS6 to see if that would help, but it did not.
Here is the workaround that worked for me on CS5:
    1) Click on "Print Settings" in the Print dialog
    2) On the pulldown Paper menu, select "Advanced Paper Selection"
    3) Select the tray where your tabloid (or legal) sized paper is loaded
    4) Click on the button at the right end of the "Paper Size" field to display the Paper Size dialog.
    5) Click on the down arrow button at the right end of the "Original Document Size" field and select "Tabloid" (or "Legal") from the menu.
    6) Click OK to close each of the open dialogs til you get back to the Print dialog and then print your document. The print preview should update to show you a preview reflecting the selected paper size. (This may take a few seconds to happen.)
This worked for me in CS5. Unfortunately, as noted above, it does not seem to work in CS6. The only workaround I can come up with for CS6 is to save the file as a PDF and then print it from Acrobat. This works without a problem, but it's a lot of trouble to go to every time I have to print something other than letter size.
If anyone finds a better workaround in CS6, please let me know.

  • Giant Printer/Page size list - how do I manage them?

I use InDesign/Quark/Illustrator and my output needs to be a .PS 100% of the time. So I don't need any other PPDs othe than my PDF 7 PPD and no more than 4 paper sizes. but every time I go to print to a PostScript file I have to navigate through a huge list of PPDs and same for paper size. Have you encountered this problem before. Please help! THANKS!!

I have the same issue.  There are several redundant printers that are in my printer drop down list.
For whatever reason, the printer that is powered on, and showing online, does not seem to want to stay connected to the computer.  The only solution seems to be to uninstall the printer and re-install it.  When that happens, it leaves a copy of
the printer que in the system with the documents waiting to print still listed.
Likely, somewhere in the registry, there is a ghost file that cannot be accessed from the main interface.
    ANY answers would be appreciated!

  • Printer page size problems

I have an HP 1180C Deskjet which is set up with A3 paper as the default size. All programs recognise this apart from Adobe Reader which resets it somehow to A4 size. So whenever I receive a pdf that is A3 size I have to go into printer properties and reset the size back to A3. Very frustrating. I've always had this problem but have finally had enough! Is there a setting which tells Reader to just accept the default paper size for the printer that is selected
    Thanks in anticipation

  • Reducing print output size

How do I print an A4 original onto 10 x 15cm paper with my Photosmart 7510 using Windows 7?

Depending on the program you are using to print, you may want to check your print preview to make sure that you do not have any over hang or that the image fits. After select print and then your printer and click its preferences button. Change to the Paper/Quality tab. Change the paper source drop down to the proper tray. Change the paper size drop down to the desired 10x15cm. Use the media dropdown to set the media type. Quality settings - you can season to your taste . Hope it helps.
    Best of Luck!

  • Indesign export to pdf. How to reduce page size to 80%?

When i export from indesign to pdf i have no option to reduce the page size. The pdf i get is then far too big. The thing is that i can not make the indesign document itself smaller since i need it to export it to jpeg too. Is there a way that i oversee? Thanx, Hans

If you're lucky, you can set a reduction factor in your Print setup dialog -- then you could use Print To File instead, and use the Distiller.
That would not include any bookmarks or hyperlinks, though.
Another option could be to create a new document of 80% size, then place your old doc as images into this. A placed ID page can be reduced in size just like a placed PDF.

  • Reduce page size

How do I reduce the page size from 8.5x11 to 4x4 inches?

It is best if you can go back the original and recreate the PDF with the new size. If that is not possible, a quick method (not necessarily optimum) is to print to a new PDF with the desired page size and select shrink to fit.

  • Batch reduce page size?

We have been given a large number of pdf files for OCR.  One large set consists of nothing but pages that exceed the 45" dimension limit in 8.1 Pro, so none can be OCRd.
Is there a way to select batches of files and then run a command to reduce their page sizes to, say, 11x17?

I use a third party to take care of page resizing. Informatik Reformater 9 (for Tiff and other raster formats). Inxepensive, but pretty good.
Also reformating to a smaller size may yeild just about the same results as not OCRing, especailly if these are drawings in a raster format and the drafting specs/quality is suspect. In the past for drawings I use again a third party that does not impose a physical page size restriction.
How many do you have to do?
