Redundant License Agreement, Sign Button Hidden by Taskbar, Blocks PDF Files

This License agreement makes reading PDF files with Reader Impossible.  Help!

Good day,
Sorry to hear you're having trouble.  Try changing your screen resolution to something larger, such as 1600x1200.  I think that may help resolve this issue.
Kind regards,
David

  • App Store Artwork License Agreement - Sign it?

    Hello,
If I want to use the App Store Logo (http://devimages.apple.com/global/elements/promos/availon_appstore.png) on my website, is it required to sign the "iPhone App Store Artwork License Agreement" below?? I already registered iPhone Developer Program.
    http://devimages.apple.com/iphone/artwork/agreement.pdf
    Thank you.
    Raymond

    Raymond,
you only need to sign it if you want to use the graphics for a brochure or on your website or whatever promotion you want to make! So, yes, you have to fill in the name. I tried without first and got a rejection e-mail and was not allowed to use the artwork.
You don't have to have the App in the store to get the agreement, only thinkg you need is a name you will stick to.
Besides that both processes of haveing your App reviewed and getting the artwork approval are - at least from my experience so far - completely seperate from each other!!! I once got my App rejected without having the Artwork Agreement rejected and vice versa...
just don't be to anxious...get it going! They won't shoot you if you make something wrong. Worst that can happen is that they send you an e-mail to change this or make that...

  • PPT action buttons are not present in pdf file upon conversion

    Hi
Am using Office 2003 (SP3) and Acrobat 8 (version 8.1.6).
Have been using action buttons in the presentations for several years, works fine.
When converting existing files, action buttons in both PPT show and pdf file just works, no problems.
Newly generated presentations work fine as PPT show. But when converted to pdf file, the action buttons are simply missing.
Have verified that all action buttons are "at front", same result.
Have tried to avoid corporate templates by creating a blank presentation and building a small and simple navigating presentation. Again, works fine as PPT show. And again, upon conversion there are no action buttons present in the pdf file.Corporate changes thereby should be ruled out.
Have checked all settings (including "Adobe PDF, Change Conversion Settings") between a working and a non-working PPT file, can't identify any differences.
A colleague helped out (using Acrobat 6), same result. But upon activation of "Adobe PDF, Change Conversion Settings, Restore Defaults", the action buttons worked for him. Tried it with Adobe 8, no such luck.
Have trialed the "Prep 4 PDF" tool, then the PDF file is complete and the "go to slide" keys appear and work again.
All new updates available are installed, anyone experienced the same and found a fix for this trouble?

Have tried both ways, same result.
When working with new presentations, the pdf file is viewable, but the action buttons are not present.
When working with past presentations, the action buttons are present and do work as expected.

  • Create a Print button to Print a specific PDF File

    Hi,
Need help with scripting. I'm creating a Menu Page where in I list the PDF files and right beside it put a PRINT BUTTON which of course will print that specific PDF file. Is this doable or not?
    Thanks.
    VicZam

For more information on the print method, see: http://livedocs.adobe.com/acrobat_sdk/9.1/Acrobat9_1_HTMLHelp/JS_API_AcroJS.88.511.html
Note the nStart and nEnd parameters in particular.

  • Can't sign in while using on a PDF file. Box pops up then disappears.  Adobe Reader up to date, account in good standing.

Just today my Export PDF program won't let me sign in, so I can sign my document.  Sign in box pops up then disappears right away.
Adobe reader is up to date, as is my subscription to Export PDF.  Have rebooted computer, tried different browser.
Any suggestions?  Thanks for your input!

    Hi HIROLLERS,
It sounds like you've tried signing in both from Reader and the web browser.
In Reader, what happens when you click the Fill & Sign tab in the Tools panel?
Have you tried clearing the browser cache, or using a different web browser?  In either case, you should be able to get to the Fill & Sign tab (you don't need an ExportPDF subscription to sign a document).
    Best,
    Sara

  • Open in "iBooks" button has stopped working (for PDF files)..plz help!!

The "open in iBooks" prompt was working just fine until last night..but when I tried the same today on a PDF file (as usual..) ..it did not work:(

That issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

  • Hidden information in pdf file

    Hello everybody,
I've recently started using BI-Publisher and therefore I'm not very familiar with this tool.
I am using an XML file (as data source) and an rtf template to create a pdf file (I can't use a pdf template)
l'd like to know if there's any solution for the following problem :
I need to pass along some "hidden" information in my pdf file
(hidden like in metadata or anything similar : the data should not be visible on the printed document but present within the file).
The "hidden information" is a field of my XML file.
Anyhow, this hidden information must be available/accessible for those manipulating the pdf file.
Do you have any advice how to solve the problem ?
Thank you very much in advance for your help.

Publisher does not currently support embedding meta data into the output PDF. You could embed some delimited 'white' text e.g XXXX>This is the text<XXXX in the output thou. As long as your 3rd party can read the text you would be good to go

  • How do you make a button download pdf file in edge animate?

Hi does anyone know the code or know how to make a download button in edge animate, that when you click the button it will fetch a pdf file from your pc root folder and offer it to download.

    Hi Wayne,
To make a button download a PDF, you'll have to upload your PDF somewhere online and add the link to your button in Animate using the Open URL button in the actions popup.
Here's a good tutorial which will get you started with some of the basics of Animate, including how to create buttons. The link on your button would just be the URL of your PDF.
    Cheers,
    Sarah

  • Adobe Reader is not opening pdf files - there is no Accept button on License Agreement

Please help. I am unable to open any pdf files with Adobe Reader 9.4.0. I get taken to an  Adobe Reader License Agreement page that says "Press the Accept button to Agree to the License Agreement and Continue." However, there is no accept button to press! Every timne I try to open a pdf file, I get taken back to the same Adobe Reader License Agreement page, with no Accept button. How do I get out of this dead-end loop? I have followed Adobe's tips on how to "Change" the file through the Control Panel in order to correct the problem, but I still end up in the same dead-end loop. What's the solution?

You can open Reader, click on right arrow key on your keyboard (it will change focus from Decline to Accept) and hit Enter....

  • License agreement buttons do not respond

I have seen a number of similar problems around this forum, but because none of these threads seemed to be active, I posted a new one.
    The problem is the following:
I have installed Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 on my Windows 7 Dell Studio 17 laptop. Installation works fine, but at the first start of the program, I need to accept the license agreement. No matter which buttons I push, none react. Also changing the language does not work. Nothing seems to respond. The only way out is to manually exit the program via the task manager.
Things I tried to fix it:
Uninstall, reboot and new install of Acrobat
Uninstalled Internet Explorer (because I have seen some posts on conflicts between .dll files belonging to IE and Acrobat
Manually added registry values following this post.
Manually register via command prompt following this explanation
BTW: I have installed Adobe CS5, can that have anything to do with it?

Had the exact same problem and tried all the previous tips to resolve, including registering the jscript.dll.
Thanks to the genius who posted the answer on another 'windows' forum (wish I could find that again).
Create a new local admin account (add that account to the administrator group).
Login to the new account and launch Acrobat. Then (hopefully) you can click "Accept" to the license agreement.
The registry key it creates is: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\9.0\AdobeViewer\EULAAcceptedForBrowser (DWORD=0x00000001). Not sure if you can just manually add the registry value as I had already fixed it by creating the new local account.
After it accepts the license agreement, you can go back into your normal profile and run acrobat. yea!.
Thanks adobe, that was 4 hours of my life I'll never get back. There's only been dozens of posting with people reporting no fix and they spent hours on the phone trying to resolve this.   You even had the same problem with previous verions, what gives? I have not found the above resolution anywhere on your forums or in the knowledgebase. This simple process could have saved me hours of my time; not to mention I just spent $1800 on the CS5 suite and now I'm already frustrated before I even have a chance to use it.

  • No Accept button on licensing agreement

The licensing agreement has no ACCEPT button and goes into a loop when I try to exit the agreement.  I have to restart the computer to get out of it.

See if anything in here helps: http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/cant-click-accept-acrobat-reader.html
P.S. this is a public forum; do you really want to publish your address and home telephone number in here?

  • CC products require daily sign in and license agreement.

For the past week both Ps and Dw CC are requireing daily sign in and license agreement. I thought these products could be used without a full time connection to the internet. What have I missed that makes daily sign in and licensing a requirement?

I turned off the internet access on my laptop and since the programs could not verify I receive the following message.
So I'm assuming everything is ok and Adobe has just moved to a verify everyday platform. I've purchase a new Dell top of the line XPS system ($1,100) that I will run nothing but Windows and Adobe on. I'm still having issues with CC product line crashed all the time without an error message and Adobe thinks it my current PC and Laptop as they are only i5CPU with 6GB mem. So we'll see. Thing is I didn't have these problems until I upgraded to the CC product line.

  • I am having trouble finding the Accept button for my licensing agreement and would like to accept.

I am having trouble finding the Aceept button for my licensing agreement and would like to accept.

Well, it's probably below the table... Sounds like you didn't consider the system requirements and installed on a system with too small screen resolution. If so, only using a larger res may possibly revela the magic button...
