Reference field from MIRO in PO History

Hi,
The reference field in MIRO has to be displayed in Purchase Order History. For PO's with GR Based IV the field is copied from GR and for PO's without GR based IV it is blank. We want the data from MIRO to be displayed in PO History in the reference field of IR.

    I have posted invoices through MIRO with the Reference field populated. When I go back to transaction ME23N and display the PO history, I expect to see the Reference number from MIRO for the invoice receipt document, but it shows as blank.
    Does anyone know how this gets populated and if we're missing any config settings?

    Make this flag for Account assignment category in the customization
    SPRO -> Materials Managment -> Purchasing -> Account assignment -> Maintain A/c assignment category.
    Select the relevent a/c assignment category and click on details button.
    For PO with no account assignment
    Make this flag for Account assignment category in the customization
    SPRO -> Materials Managment -> Purchasing -> define external representation of Item category
    If here the Invoice receipt indicator is not checked then you want see the IR document at PO history

  • Change Reference field in MIRO document

    We are using invoice plan for posting of invoices. We want to update the reference field in the invoice document created by system once the original vendor invoice is received by the actual invoice no for tracking purpose.
    Is this possible?

    I think we can't change the reference field in invoice document.
    If you want we change the reference field in accounting document.
    For every vendor invoice system generates accounting document.
    We can view the accounting document in FB02 / FB03 . Reference field will be stored in header of the document. This field is not editable  field. If you want to change to editable field.
    Do following settings.
    Goto OB32 t.code. click on new entries.
    No need to enter account type.
    Feild name  --  BKPF-XBLNR.  activate the field  Field can be changed and save.
    Now goto FB02. Goto header, now reference field is in editable mode.

    Reference field is not available in field status group.
    I have checkedthe reference number in RE document types in OBA7 .
    But still without entering anything in reference field in MIRO,the document is getting save.
    Any other solution??

    Is it possible to make the REFERENCE field of MIRO document changeable.
    My user has posted a MIRO wiithout any thing in REFERENCE field, we can goto FI document of that MIRO and insert values in REFERENCE field, but that wont reflect in MIRO document's reference field. Is there a way to do that at user level OR first something needs to be activated at

    MIRO document's reference field it will be change through t code fb02.

  • Currency Key Reference field in WebDynpro Table Column

    Hi Experts,
    I am using a WebDynpro table (not ALV) showing multiple currency fields in a single row - each one potentially referencing a different currency key e.g. Japanese Yen and USD in a single row.
    My currency context attributes are already defined as currency types, but how can I assign different currency key references to each of my currency context attributes? Or is this somehow done as a property of the table column UI element?

    You answer is very helpful, but I do have a question about going the DDIC route. So you are saying that if I take a DDIC structure into my context with multiple currency keys as reference fields for multiple currency fields, then my WebDynpro context will know exactly which currency key is the reference for which currency field without having do do this programatically as you described? If that's true, can I bring a whole DDIC structure over to the context and then delete the 'Dictionary Structure' refrence from my context node, so that I can add my own additional fields to the context node?  E.g. in the case of DDIC structure VBAP can I get all my currency fields and their reference fields from the DDIC from VBAP and then delete 'VBAP' as a 'Dictionary Structure' from my context node and add my own custom fields. The fields I would have brought in from VBAP still retain their type and everything after the deletion of 'VBAP' as a 'Dictionary Structure', so my question is will it also retain the node_info of what currency key goes with what field?
    Please let me know if you happend to have done this before.

    Can you tell me what values does this context field hold? Someone have defined it in the location you specified but whats the value which it holds? For example In the DFF "Add'l Periods of Service Information" the Reference Field was defined as "C_LEGISLATION_CODE". Whats it doing exactly over here?

    I'm getting an error (see below) while entering details in the manual bank statement.  I've checked the variant already, and the manual bank statement variant with "Bank Reference" field is already deactivated. How come FF67 still validates on this field?

    The Bank Statement Transaction you are using has an Int. Algorithm configured, which requires the Bank reference field.
    In IMG in the transaction where you create and assign business transactions to posting rules, there is also a filed for Int Algorithm. The system uses the Int Alg. to determine the fields on which to match and clear documents. The transaction you are using may have an int algo. configured which uses the reference field for clearing.
    Even if you remove the reference field from the Manual Bank Statement Variant, the system is still going to look for it because that is one fields defined for clearing in the int alg.
    You can change the config settings for the transaction, but either removing the Int alg. or using a different one. The description of the Int Alg. on the drop down list, will give you an idea of what fields will be used for clearing.
    IMG path...FA->Bank accounting> business transactions-> payment transactions>manual bank statement-> Create and Assign business transactions.

    Hi Julie...
    1. Run the report MB51
    2. click on current display variant (Ctrl+F8).
    3. in this click on position and select the reference field from the hidden fileds(right) and bring this to the Position fields(left. and click on copy.
    4. save this layout by going to menu ,  Settings -> layout -> save or (Ctrl+F12)
    5. give the layout name and save.
    6. goto Settings -> layout -> Administration and set this layout as a default.
    Once again run the report. in this automatically the reference field will be populated.

  • Reference (XBLNR) field is empty in PO history tab (ME23N)

    Hi all,
    I created a PO the the GR.
    The PO history is updated and in the field reference shows the value I entered in the GR in field "Delivery note"
    After that I created an invoice in MIRO and entered a value in fields: "Reference", "Header text", etc
    The PO history shows the invoice but the field "Reference" is blank.
    Can somebody tell me how to populate the field "Reference" in the PO history tab for invoices?

    could you please check whether the flag "GR-bsd IV" is set in the PO item data?
    Normally when you enter invoice content of 'Reference' (INVFO-XBLNR)           
    field is never saved in EKBE-XBLNR. The EKBE-XBLNR for IR is only              
    filled with the delivery note saved in EKBE-XBLNR for GR, provided             
    that 'GR based IR' is active in PO item.

  • Automatic invoice reduction - MIRO XBLNR1 - Reference field

    Hello all,
    I've set up the automatic invoice reduction in MIRO due to errors in vendor invoice (with subsequent credit received in paper).
    In this process there are two FI documents (A1 for invoice and background A2 for reduction) regarding the original MM document.
    The user uses "refence" field in invoice header to relate to the vendors physical document but the field only goes into A1 (BKPF) document and not A2, event with this A2 being background document and in it's master this reference field being mandatory...
    How can I put the reference field in A2 as well?

    Procedure for posting the Invoice Reduction :
    (1) Enter the T.Code MIRO - Select the Transaction as Invoice only.
    (2) Give the reference number ( Example PO Number) for which you want to create an Invoice.
    (3) In the Display Variant, Select Invocie Reduction.
    (4) Maintain the required details and post the Invocie.
    Example: Invoice Reduction due to Quantity Variance:
    PO: 100 nos @ 10 EUR/No
    GR: 40 nos
    Invoice: 40 nos @ 12 EUR/No = 480 EUR
    When you enter Invoice,
    Order Qty Order Amount Invoiced Qty Invocied Amt
    40 400
    Select Reduce Invocie in the Display Variant.
    Enter the Quantity and Amount stated in the Invocie in the fields Invoice quantity acc. vendor and Invoice amount acc. vendor.
    Order Qty Order Amount Invoiced Qty Invocied Amt
    40 400 40 480
    When you post the Invocie, Purchase order history will be updated as follows:
    Quantity Value
    Total Delivered 40 400
    Total Invoiced 40 400
    Accounting Documents:
    GR:
    Stock Account = 400
    GR/IR Clearing Account = 400(-)
    Invoice:
    Vendor Account = 480(-)
    GR/IR Clearing Account = 400(-)
    Invoice Reduction Clearing Account = 80(+)
    Automatic Credit Memo:
    Vendor Account = 80(+)
    Invoice Reduction Clearing Account = 80(-)

    Dears,
    I'm wokring on a SAP R/3 4.6 release and I would like to know if it is possible to post invoices with no PO from MIRO transaction. If it is so would it be possible for you to let me know which are the customizing steps to undertake and/or the fields to be populated in the MIRO transaction.
    I know that this kind of invoices should be processed throught transaction FB60 but in this case the use of MIRO transactino is required.

    Hi Davide,
    You have first to fill in the header the tab basic details and then in the tab Details "Inv.Party"
    Now you can go to the tab G/L account.
    With a PO the system take the vendor from the PO now you have first to fill the vendor number
