Reference fields in a report

I have a tabular report from a view (this view has parts of 2 tables), I need to make a button to update, the default button doesn't work well, so I have to create a button that makes an update in each table, but I don't know how to reference each field in the report to make a process.

    User Comment field available for reporting?
    When doing custom reporting against requests with reportable dictionaries we have a user request to also include the user comments.  How do I reference / point to the comments field for a request?

    If you are referring to the comments which are added in the Comments and History section of a requisition, this information is not migrated to the datamart and is not reportable.
    If, on the other hand, you are referring to a comments field that you have included in a dictionary on the service form, that information will be available in the datamart so long as that dictionary has been made reportable.

  • Using one prompt for multiple fields in a report

    We are using Oracle CRM on Demand, Release 16.
    I have a report I am building that involves four different date fields. I'd like to give the user the ability to enter a date range for the date fields via a Prompt when the report executes. But the date range would be the same for all four date fields. Is there a way to capture the date range in one prompt, but use that same range in all four date fields in the report?

    I recommend to use two dashboard prompts, one for each date field of your range and each will set a presentation variable.
    Then use the FILTER metric function and reference the presentation variable.

    We are using T-Code:  FBL1N, using our com code and execute the report.  In this report, we have used the reference field for company purpose key in the same reference no.: (EX:  789100).  The same number appeared again on the screen (Reference No.).  That time red alert message appeared on the screen or an existing same reference in this field.  Any body gives the idea to me in FICO.

    The icons are a function of the Alert style: that can only be changed in the property palette. I'don't believe there is any way of substituting your own icons for the Oracle ones short of overwriting the Oracle supplied files with graphics of your own. However, we can set the Alert Title and Message Text programmatically with the SET_ALERT_PROPERTY built-in.

  • Payment Reference Field KIDNO Not apprearing at the time of Vendor Payment

    When we are making the Vendor Payment thru F-53, we are not able to see the Payment Reference Field KIDNO there. But when the payment document is posted and we see the line items then this field KIDNO comes there as non-modifiable field. We want to fill some information there in that field for some report purposes. Can you please help me, how can I see this field as changable field at the time of making vendor paymnts thru F-53.

    Hi Senthilkumar,
    Change the field status for the 'payment reference field' to optional or required, based on your requirements. You can do this in T.Code - FBKP.
    Do this:
    a) Check the field status group maintained in the master data of the Reconciliation account of the vendor.
    b) In t.code - FBKP, click on 'Field Status Groups' and enter the variant created for your company code
    c) Now from the resultant entries, double click on the field status group which has been maintained in the master data of the Reconciliation account of the vendor.
    d) Double click on 'Payment transactions', you would see 'Payment Reference' there which would be having its status as 'Suppressed'. Just change it to Optional or Required!!

       Point 5. As of Release 4.0C Report RFCHKU00 is delivered in the 
       standard system which copies the check number into a selected   
       reference field of the document. You can this program.

    These two notes above mention another to way fill your requirements. But, note 213551 is a modification note and you should read the documentation about modification notes before trying the solution.

    Hello Raj,
    It is not possible to clear an open item on a g/l account via the
    reference document number. The automatic clearing with interpretation
    algorithm 021/001 only takes place, if the item, which should be cleared
    is on a customer/vendor account. So it could never find open G/L items.
    The reason is that the reference number is usually not unique
    so it could lead to wrong clearings.
    A workaround therefore would be to use:
    a) another interpretation algorithm depending on the note to payee
       data are available.
    b) the user exit 1 (described in note 494777, point 1) if there are
       no other information available as the reference number.
    c) the report SAPF124/E to clear these items afterwards. Then the bank
       statement should only post FB01 without clearing. The requirements
       are criteria to assign and clear the suitable items.

    what is the significance of XREF1(Reference Key1) and XREF2(Reference Key2) in FBl5N report. In my report I can see profit center being populated in most of the Reference Key2 values.     As per your issue 1st you have maintain the required entry in filed status group level as well as at posting key level in the General TAB and select Reference specification 1/2 as a require entry after that you have to MAP in the T code OB32 at account type level
    Eg:  D        BSEG-XREF1        Reference key 1
           D        BSEG-XREF2        Reference key 2
          S      BSEG-XREF1           Reference key 1
          S      BSEG-XREF2           Reference key 2
          S      BSEG-XREF3           Reference key 3
    Like above based your requirement you have to maintain
    - Document change rules line item (TC: OB32)
    - Posting key (TC: OB41)
    - Field status groups (SPRO -> FI -> FI Global settings -> Ledgers -> Fields -> Define field status variants)
    - Special field display (SPRO -> FI -> GL Accounting -> Master Data -> GL Accounts -> Line items -> Define Special Fields for Line item display)
    - Doccument change rules header (SPRO -> FI -> FI Global settings -> Document -> Rules for changing documents -> Document change rules, document header)
    After that while you posting  any transaction data you have to enter reference key1 and 2 filed at more data Tab  where you can see  at header level tabs
    Finally  you can able see in the FBL5N report...same case we have faced previously it was resolved

    My task is like this.
    I have to include FI reference in report ME80FN.
    Actually the ebusiness needs to see the vendor invoice number (FI reference field)
    in the PO history report ME80FN.
    actually it is said that the query has to be replicate for this change and create new transaction.
    tha output for PO order history view needs to includethe ereference document field (BKPF-XBLNR) for the material document list in that record.
    How to achieve this solution please.

    u mean u have to add Reference field in the output(BKPF-XBLNR).
    As this is Standard tcode and there are no user exits vailable, u shud have Access key .and then u can chaneg the coding.
    moreover u have to change field catalog which includes BKPF-XBLNR and this can be made avaialble for output.
    Revert back if any issues.

  • KR Reference Field coming from Earmarked Fund

    Hi Experts,
    We have distributed our data entry of non PO related invoices out to end users.  They data enter and park the invoice.  Then Central AP uses their workflow inbox (SBWP) to view and "approve" the document to post it.
    This works great EXCEPT when the invoice is charged to an Earmarked Fund (specifially a funds commitment), AP gets an error that "For document type KR, an entry is required on field Reference number"  XBLNR is filled in with the Vendor's invoice number on the parked document, but we are told by SAP, that it is our config that is causing the issue.
    On the funds commitment (fmz3), we can view that on the Header of the commitment that we have always left the field REFERENCE blank.   We did configure under Earmarked Funds and Funds Transfers\Define Rules for account assignment, that the Reference Document Number is Active, but this allows us to fill in field REFBN in other areas for reporting. 
    When we just post an invoice FB60, we've never had a problem with the funds commitment's REFERENCE field conflicting with the Invoice's Reference field.  When I do enter something on the REFERENCE field of the funds commitment, it OVERWRITES what the invoice had in the reference field when we do the Park then POST using workflow (uses FBV0 funcitonality).  It does not overwrite it though when I just post using FB60 or FV60. 
    SAP has stated that they intentially designed their programs differently which is why they behave differently.
    So does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the parked document to post BUT to keep the Vendor's Invoice number in the Reference field? Instead of it being overwritten from the Funds Commitment?

    Hi,
    I think your FM analyst got the direction wrong. System will always populate REFBN field in table FMIOI with PO# or other source document number. The configuration you mentioned controls whether you want the system to transfer the value of REFBN to a follow-on document with reference to an earmarked fund - the direction is from FM to FI. For example, when you create an earmarked fund 1234, you will see an entry in table FMIOI with field REFBN populated with 1234; this has nothing to do with the configuration in defining rules for account assignment transfer in earmarked fund. Then, you create an invoice with reference to earmarked fund 1234; this time, system will transfer the values of the fields in document 1234 to the invoice according to the said configuration.

    via Tcode SQ01, I tried to modified Infoset, by right click, I added missing field on the right hand side of the screen, hit saved. Then it asked me do you want to generate infoset, clicked "Yes".
    Then I got these Yellow errors:

    Sales Agent Comission can be better tracked using a std SAP functionality called rebates. Here in you can accrue Rebates with every billing document. For eg, you need to give a comission to sales agent, if the sales reach USD 100 in a month, that can be set up through the SD Pricing procedure and the corresponding assignment in VKOA.

    Thanks Anantha, however this is not working for me.
    I do not actually have a reference field available in the header data - perhaps this was omitted at configuration. The PO field is not an option as it is not reportable in FBL5N.
    If anyone could suggest an alternative field I'b be grateful.
