Reference material/book on BPS

I have experience in BW but I am new to BPS and BI Integrated Planning. Is there any good material or book that I can use as a starting point to learn this subject.

I want to know if any of you have read the planning book. I feel I can get a quick jump-start on BI planning if they are technical and well explained.

I am particularly interested in the book BI Integrated planning for finance as it is the new option for planning.

Hi All,
I am following SAP E-COMMERCE 5.0 -Landscape, Basics and concepts Development Guide. This book is available at http://service.sap.com/crm-inst ->my sap crm 2005 -> CRM CORE.
In reference section, they have mentioned the below book and i didnt find the same at specified location.
"SAP E-COMMERCE DEVELOPMENT AND EXTENSION GUIDE: EXAMPLES AND TUTORIALS"

Hi Gurus,
While making material booking in iw32->components tab,the following error appears;
Entry does not exist - check your entry - Error : 0058.
But the matcode is present in the respective plant.so what is the setings to be done to capture the matcode in
components tab.

When creating sales order using the BAPI BAPI_SLSTRANSACT_CREATEMULTI I am filling the pricing reference material(PRICE_PRODUCT_ID) and batch id 'BATCH_ID' as follows in the required table.

Hi Chamu,
You are missing the process_qty_unit in the IT_PRODUCT table. You can find the values for this from the table T006. Also, fill the input fields for the same.

Create material from reference material for all org.levels

Hi,
i want to create a material from a reference material with all MARA, MAKT, MARC, MBEW, MARD, MARM, MVKE, MLAN, MLGN and MLGT content for all organizational levels of the reference material.
For instance, my reference material has 200 MARC entries. All these entries should also be created for the new material.
Transaction MM01 will copy from reference but only for 1 organizational level. To create 200 plants manually with MM01 is not an option.
I have to develop a copy from reference transaction, where i select the new material number, the reference material number and the required tables (MARA, MAKT, etc)
I can read the current tablevalues and insert new entries into the required SAP standard tables, but that is not nice.
Is there another option to do the job ?
I know there are bapi's, but these are related to one org.level. For 200 plants, i have to execute 200 bapi to get the data from the reference material and another 200 bapi's to create the new material.

You can use the BAPI BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA, which will create/update the material. You can pass the reference material in the filed BAPI_MARA-PL_REF_MAT. And you can pass reference material for all view like this.

Link between COMM_PRODUCT table and Pricing Reference Material

In CRM we have in transaction COMMPR01 the material, and in the Sales and Distribution tab, the field Pricing Ref. Prod. fille with a reference material. We are looking in the tables for this link, but have not found it. We have table CRMM_PRODUCT for the 1st material, and have looked in others, such as CRMV_PROD_SALESG, CRMM_PR_SALESA, but have been unable so far to find the link. Any answers on this?

Check PRICE_PRODUCT field of table CRMM_PR_SALESA .

Create material using reference material

Hi All,
I need to create a material using a reference material. I am using the BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEREPLICA and passing the reference material in the PL_REF_MAT field. But this is not working fine. I have searcged the forums as well but couldn't find any solution.
Another solution that I am thinking to implement is to use BAPI_MATERIAL_GETALL and get the details of the reference material and then pass those details to the BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEREPLICA. But as the structures for the two BAPI's are different I need to mapo each field one by one which is quite cumbersome as each view of the material has almost 100 or more fields.
Please suggest.

Javascript reference material for Captivate

For the past day, I've been looking for reference material on using Javascript in Captivate. I really can't find much. There is nothing in the product Help, and these forums are pretty dry.
The only thing I've found is http://captivatedev.com/series/captivate-javascript-series/, a really great introduction to using Javascript in Captivate. I wish there was more.
Basically, I want to know what functions are available and how do I call them (i.e., what objects they are a part of, perhaps with some example code).
Anyone know where I can find this for Captivate?

Step-by-step reference material

Adobe 8 Prof., Windows XP Pro, I am completely new to forms design and Adobe. Have converted a WORD doc (multi page employment package)to a PDF form in LiveCycle thats close to what I want, but fields out of seq and Submit by Email only returns XML data and would like the full form complete

Workbench is the development tool for creating LiveCycle ES2 processes. To sign a PDF on the server side (in an automated fashion) you need to have LiveCycle Digital Signatures ES2

How to sign entire pdf
When a digital signature is applied to a PDF, the entire PDF is "signed". You cannot sign specific pages or sections.
How to sign/block only few fields in the pdf
You can specify "field collections" when creating a PDF with Adobe Designer. You then associate the field collection with a particular signature field. When the signature field is signed, the associated field can\will be locked.

Reference material for Packaging

Hi all,
I've created a reference material for packaging: material 100
There is a packing instruction (POP1) and determination record (POF1) for this reference material.
In the material master, I have also assigned reference mat 100 to 2 other materials:
material 101 --> reference mat = 100
material 102 ---> reference mat = 100
However when I try to pack these material, I get the error:
No packing instruction could be found for material 101
No packing instruction could be found for material 102
How can I resolve this?
