Reference of sales area in follow-up action of sales support

Hello Experts,
our client need to create a follow-up action from a contact (sales support document) in reference of a billing document.
In the follow-up action the system takes automatically the sales area of the contact and leaves these field unchangable.
Because of internal reasons contact and billing document can have diferent sales area, especifically the sector can vary, as they have a comon sector 00 for all sales documents. The sales area of the follow-up action should always be the same as in the billing document. But in case of diferent sales areas the system does not permit the reference to the billing document.
What can we do to make the system take the sales area from the reference document and not from the contact?
I would be very greatful for your help!

  • Post serialized part from free to block stock with a follow up action

    Hi,
    I try to post a serialized part from free to block stock, but the standard function modules QMLR_FREE_TO_BLOCKED_STOCK,  QMLR_FREE_TO_BLOCKED_STOCK_ST2 work good with not serialized parts, but it doesn't works with serialized one.
    I create quality notification with serial number reference in RQM00-SERIALNR field, when I execute the follow-up function the M7175 error message appears.
    Someone know a solution to this issue?

    Hi The standard FM will not update the serial no for the material. So when you are doing the material movement through follow up action system can not move the material with out serial no. So you can change the functional module aith help of abaper to fetch the data from quality notification field.

  • Sales order with reference to sales order

    Hi,
       I need to create a sales order with reference another sales order using bapi CreateFromDat2.  Please note, Sales Ord. Dist. channel, Div, sold-to to of the new order are different from original order.   I gave reference order in field order_header_in-REFDOCTYPE .  I am getting following error when I perform single test " FB Call: insufficient parameters.  Can any of you tell me how to overcome this issue.  And is it possible to create an order refering to another Saler order with different Sales Ord, Dist. channel, Division, sold-to ?

    <i><b>Symptom</b>
    This note describes the problems of the 'Create with reference' function when using BAPIs to create sales documents.
    If you are working online, you can use this function module to create a sales document with reference to an existing sales document or a billing document (for example, a debit or credit memo request) according to fixed rules. The rules for transferring information from the source document to the target document are defined in the copying control on header and item level. The creation with reference permits an item selection.
    When you use BAPIs in SD, a function of this type is not fully available. A reference is only possible for a quantity contract, so that the target quantity of the contract can be reduced by the order quantity of the sales document. Furthermore, the document flow is also updated.
    As an alternative to 'Create with reference' in Transaction VA01, two variants are provided for solving the 'Create with reference' problem in the BAPI.
          1. Create a '1:1 ' - that is, a document copy of a sales document (customer quotation, order) with 'BAPI_SALESDOCUMENT_COPY'. At this point, you cannot create the 1:1 copy of either a billing document or a delivery.
          2. Create a sales document that refers to an existing document with 'BAPISDORDER_GETDETAILEDLIST' and 'BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2'.

    As of yet, no method exists for creating a sales document that refers to an existing document.
    Solution
    For solution No. 1
          1. Create the documents using the BAPI_SALESDOCUMENT_COPY function module. However, this only permits a 1:1 copy without factoring out individual items.
          2. After you have created the document copy, you can use a change BAPI to edit this copy.
    For solution No. 2
          1. Collect the data for the reference document (for example a customer quotation) with the 'BAPISDORDER_GETDETAILEDLIST' function module. In the example code, focus exclusively on the partners, items, schedule lines and conditions.
          2. Prepare the Data. Execute the 'copying control' manually. This way, you decide which values are to be transferred.
          3. Create the sales document using the 'BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2' function module by transferring the prepared data.
          4. Finally, you must remove a COMMIT WORK so that the sales document can be written into the database.
    An example of solution 2 is attached as a text file. You are allowed to select items and quantities for example, if you use input parameters. If there are no entries, then transfer 1:1 from the reference document. When you enter the 'condition type' parameter, you can determine whether conditions are copied or recalculated ('G' for transferring from the preceding document; 'B' or ' ' for re-determining, and 'C' for re-determining with transfer of the manual elements).</i>

  • Transfer Stock to subcontractor with reference of Sales order

    Scenario:
    MTO strategy
    We have one operation is subcontracting. When we take MRP run all PurReq. & PLOrd are reference to sales order. But  when we want to transfer material to subcontractor through TCode MB1B Mvt type 541 that time system issue the following message.
    Deficit of SL Unrestricted-use 3,150 KG : 119 1002 RM
    Then we have to transfer stock reserved against sale order to unrestricted.
    Requirement:
    Can we transfer stock to subcontractor with reference to sales order.
    Pl tell me how I resolved this issue.

    Hello....
    You can not transfer material from Sales order Stock by movement type 541 as both stocks are Special stocks &  has not recommend to transfer between two special stocks.
    For this Solution ,  Transfer posting to transfer the provided components to a new storage location (for example, 9999) by using movement type 311. This enables you to obtain an overview of those stocks that are physically located at the subcontractor. This information is particularly important when you carry out a physical inventory of the sales order stocks.

  • Follow-up action : please help - Inspection Lot related

    Hi,
    I am having the following trouble:
    Through MB02, a printout is generated to the local printer (LOCL).
    However, through QA11, when we save, we have a custom follow-up action attached that pops-up a
    dialog screen.
    The follow up action is triggered when a usage decision is changed for the inspection lot.
    The follow-up action (configured in IMG) calls a Function Module and a screen, which in turn populates
    a value into a custom DB table (based on the buttons, on the screen, sending either to LOCL or to a
    zebra printer).
    Now, what has to happen is that after inserting the value into a custom table, it should also open a sapscript and output.
    The Sapscript and print program are there, with the print program being created 3-4 years ago by someone
    else. However, even though we have code in the print program to update nast, in turn creating a message
    for output (1st the custom DB table is checked to see if the values match, MATNRCHARG), It does not update
    NAST. When we go through MB02, it does, but this should happen automatically after selecting one of the radio
    buttons on the original pop-up & selecting print.
    Please help. I don't know what to do and can't enable a debugger from the pop-up and if going though QA11,
    I can't get it to stop inside the print program (only inside the custom FM).

    In simple language Followup action nothing but certain action with be performed if predecessor activity performed.
    Take example of UD.Against UD code you assign some followup atcions.Now when you select some UD code like "Rejected" ,then you can send mail/trigger mail automatically in the background  to a mailbox stating the rejection of the material ,as a followup action.
    I hope this add some value aprart from std definations...

  • Trigger follow up action in Auto UD

    Hello Gurus,
    we have defined follow up action after making UD of inspection lot. the logic is to move the stock from one Sloc to other after UD is made.
    This follow up action works well when we make UD in QA11 (foreground). however, we observed that. when we make Auto UD using background job, the follow up action is not triggered.
    Is there any config we are missing? or this is a standard functinality?

    Hi,
    To my understanding there is no further special configs available which is not working in background but in foreground it is working and MvT 311 is happening successfully.
    If you are using any custom MF linked to the follow-up actions, then better you speak to ABAP team colleague to double check if the assigned FM is background compliant too.
    If you are using any standard FM, please can you share the same with us so that if someone has worked with it, they may share their thoughts.

    Hi Kumar,
    You need to follow steps mention below:
    1) Create an action defintion to create a follow up document and in that use method 'COPY_DOCUMENT'
    2) In action condition scheduling, you have to specify the followup transaction type and scheduling condition as the phase of the project.

    Copy the function module in customizing under Quality Inspection -> Follow up action and modify the standard functional module as per your requirement by the help of ABAPer and assign the same functional module to same IMG.

    I have linked the inspection type to a PM notification type and i want the Notification to be created on the Equipment.
    I can already create if manually, from the inspection lot, but i want to do this automatically. In the selected set for the Usage decission, you can define follow up actions, but when checking the follow up actions I'm not sure which function module to use.
    So which function module should i use? or are you saying that there is no standard function module and  that i should write the function module from scratch?
    There is no way to create a PM notification from the inspection lot with standard SAP?
    If somebody knows, please let me know. Thanks

    I have done the necessary configurations for triggering followup actions after doing usage decision in the system like
    defined follow up configuration and assigned functional module to it
    defined codes and code groups in qs41
    defined selected sets with follow up actions in qs51
    and I would like to know why after these settings are made the followup action is not  getting triggered in the field followup actionwhile doing UD  after  providing valuation code .
    Is there any others settings i need to make after these is so please help me in getting this triggered

    My client uses inspection type 89 for creating inspection lot. They have HU/SU management active in warehouse. When inspection lot is created for production batch, material stock and HU's are shown in quality inspection. When UD 1000 (Accept) is made, they have a follow up action FM linked to it which posts the HU's to unrestricted stock using VLMOVE 321 movement. The process works correctly through QA11. But when I do UD using BAPI BAPI_INSPLOT_SETUSAGEDECISION in custom program, the follow up action is not triggered. The stock remains in QI. Do I need to call the follow up FM also in program? Why does BAPI not trigger follow up action?
