Reflections in slideshow. can i turn them off?

is there anyway to get rid of the reflections in the slideshow's you can create? they're kind of annoying

oops, I just posted the same question. I don't know how to get rid of the reflection, but I also find it annoying. It's distracting and confusing because it looks like part of the original photograph. Hopefully they'll either change this feature or someone will know how we can get rid of it.

Pretend I know nothing about this topic, because I DON'T, and help me figure out how to format bullets in 'Pages' for IPad. I turned them on somehow, and now can't turn them off, and they are popping up in all the wrong places

I think I effectively proved my point about knowing nothing about this, by posting my whole question in the title. To review, I have a 1 year old iPad, and have Pages on it for a word processing program. I somehow turned on bullets on one of my documents and can't figure out how to stop it, and they are in all the wrong places. How do I turn it off?

If your computer is on one minute before it freezes, than you have one minute to secure your serial number.
click the apple----->click about this Mac ------> click on version----> until you see the serial number. You may have to do this a couple of times if it freezes before you have all the numbers. A camera might help.

[CC] 3D texturing slow (suspected culprit - live previews) - can I turn them off?

Hi there.
We do a lot of 3D texturing for models. While CS6 was doing that just fine, CC has a problem.
When we paint on 3D model directly, it has a 0.5-1 second lag. That's acceptable, as it's not used much.
However from CC it started to lag even when painting directly on unfolded texture. Which basically interferes with our job.
It seems that there is no applying step anymore when switching from flat texture to 3D view and all changes are applied on 3D immediately when we paint on flat texture. Release notes say it's a 100x speed improvement, but we don't really see it.
We see this behaviour on 2 computers: OS X one and Win8 one.
So my question is - can we turn immediate change applying on 3D model off?

How do we make this a feature request .. I agree with Arturaz. Texture painting was actually better in CS6. The live update is very helpful but creates brush lag.
Being able to turn off the live update would be awesome!

100 ADOBE messages A DAY -- CAN'T TURN THEM OFF

Appointment reminders: can you turn them off?

At certain times, I want my iPhone to still be on and connected, but not to bug me in any way. I can turn off the ringer and all sounds with the standard side switch, I can adjust all all push programs to turn off all notifications, and I can stop MMS messages from displaying on the main screen by setting the messages preferences.
However, I don't seem to be able to generally stop meeting requests from lighting up the iPhone and displaying.
I realize I can go in and set every appointment to have no alert, but I enter appointments from different places, and not every client makes it easy to remove alerts.
Has anyone found a setting on the iPhone that simply keeps the iPhone from lighting up for calendar appointments if an alert is set?

Thanks, but that doesn't do it. The phone still lights up when a calendar item reaches its reminder time.

Individual computers can only be deauthorised directly on them, but if you've reached the 5 computer limit then you can log into your account on your computer's iTunes and 'deauthorise all' (which you can do once every 12 months) and you can then authorise/reauthorise the computers that you still have and need : authorising and deauthorising.

Yes, you can set Camera Raw to store the settings in a central database instead of sidecar XMP files.
Inside Photoshop go into Edit - Preferences - Camera Raw...
In the General section, change Save image settings in: to Camera Raw database.
I suggest also increasing the Camera Raw Cache size from the default.

I had turned off link underlines. for some reason they are back. where can i turn them off?

I haven't seen underlined links in years. Now they are back. Tell where the switch is so all the sites I used to visit with no underlines are back to looking clean!

Did you look here?
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors
Note that web pages can use CSS code to underline links.

Is the computer setting close to a radio or other device with radio waves? This is normally caused by interrence from such sources.

Sorry, there is no setting or preference in Firefox to turn off tabs completely.

You could but you're taking a chance on losing them if you do. Photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days. If you ever lose your phone, have to restore it, replace it, or turn off photo stream, you will only get back photos from the last 30 days.
To make sure your photos are safely backed up, import them to your computer while they are in the camera roll, as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083. You will get an option to delete them from your phone after importing them.

If you have a lock code, how did someone change the apple ID for "find my phone?" You should go by the apple store and let them help you.
