Refresh and email addresses

Hello -
We have many workflows which send emails out to our various users. As part of the refresh and testing of the upgrade we want to validate our workflows.
I understand we can do a mass update of emails to a generic email address - but all users will get notified that their emails changed. There is NO indication that this email change is related to the staging environment, so it's confusing to the users.
Options we know of:
1- change the email addresses will notifiy the users.
2- change the workflows to say TEST and change the email addresses is VERY time consuiming and we have to do it each time of a refresh
Since this is staging - is there any way to turn off the security notificiations for changing of email addresses?

My company has a similar setup, so we are going to face the same issue when we start testing in staging.
I am considering doing three imports on staging.
1) first, to inactivate all of the users (except for my own)
2) the second, to reset all of their email addresses
3) finally to reactivate them.
I haven't tried this yet, so I'm not sure if it works.
Even if this does work it is a bit cumbersome, so it would be better if there was some sort of global settings at the company profile level to control how e-mails are routed in the non-production pods.
It would also be nice if there was an environment variable accessible to the workflows which identifies the current pod. Then, the notification action formulas could be changed to route to a test address when the workflow is run from a non-production pod.

    You can edit your Apple ID(which is your iTunes Store account name) via Apple's My Apple ID website https://appleid.apple.com/com by following these steps:
    1.) Click "Manage your account" on the right hand side of the page.
    2.) Click edit next to your Apple ID and Primary Email Address.
    3.) Edit your account name to the desired email address.

    yes, just make sure you turn off auto-sync to keep everything organized before you try syncing
    on a pc
    edit > preferences > devices - 'prevent ipads, iphones, and ipods from syncing automatically' needs to be checked

    Each of you need to have your own apple id's instead of sharing is the best way. But you can go to each phones settings, messages, send and recieve, and down to start new conversation from, and make sure each of you have your own email address with a check mark beside of it not the same address.

    You used to be able to do this through leaving unchecked the box in preferences "when sending to a group show all member addresses". However, that feature failed some time ago (two or three years?) and the only way to hide the addresses now is to put the group in the BCC field.

    If you got them from iBooks, then no. As far as I know, iBooks are linked to the Apple ID that downloaded them. If you got them via Kindle or the such, the apps may have a sharing function.
    If it's another app, then whatever  the rules of that app says is what works.
    If you're looking for e-books on a budget, check out your local library. Many have e-books you can check out for a period of time, and they either work with an app or are PDF files with some sort of time limit encoding in them

    If I put the group name in "to" in Mail, each person gets a messy non-alphabetical list with commas. If I send a group vCard, I send more data than I want to send. If I make a printed list, I have to convert to a pdf file and send that which is not nearly a simple as a text list.
    Is there any way to export fields of my choice from Address into either text or spreadsheet format?
    I want to send a list like this, but with tabbed columns.

    Thanks, Thomas for the prompt response, but the pdf method has two problems.
    First, it's got to be in landscape mode, or the email address word-wrap. That makes for a five-page list. I want to send a 60-line text list.
    Secondly, there's no way to eliminate the label (work, home, other...) from the email address field.
    I will use the pdf method if no one comes up with a better idea.

    A colleague in our Copenhagen office wanted to generate a pdf from a Word file.  She is working on a Windows 2007 operating system and is running Acrobat Pro 9.  When she generated the PDF only part of a url and an email address was visible when the PDF was viewed.  She was wofking from Standard settings.  I am running the same software on the same Windows platform and using the same computer equipment with the same settings yet I was able to generate a PDF where the full url and email address was visible.
    Can anyone out in Adobe Acrobat land provide me with an answer?

    That's probably because the Mac people are opening or viewing the PDFs within the Mac's "Mail" program or with the "Preview" program and not with Acrobat.
    Since the Windows people aren't using these programs and most likely just Acrobat or Adobe Reader, the layers are kept hidden.
    I'm afraid the only way to truly keep those layers hidden is to delete them before saving your file as a PDF. (Of course, do a "Save As" and keep your original .ai file intact.

    in the logon widget, we also use the data retrevied from siteInit.loadData.data.user. However, this widget is part of the out of the box openSocial widgets, it is being released with the product code, not as a separate OS widget deployed on HANA Cloud Platform.
    If you'll do window.parent.siteInit you'll probably will get the data you are looking for, but this isn't the official public API, so you can use it but we cannot commit on keeping this structure.
    Why do you need this information in the widget level? Does your widget require authentication or is it for personalization needs?
    The best way is to retrieve this info on the java side using HAHA Cloud Platform APIs and send them back to the client.

    If you are looking for email addresses tied to user master records, then the table is ADR6,  you must link to this thru USR21.
    * Get email address

    Not sure that I've ever seen an employee number tied directly to a user in SU01.

    I have found some scripts which extract email addresses from the content of messages in Mail, but I am looking for something rather different, and wonder if such a script exists, or if someone can help me build one.  I would like to create a tab delimited text file of the first name, last name and email address of all recipients of a given message in Mail.  Most email addresses will be in the format John Doe <[email protected]>.
