Refresh BPM

I have a BPM and it stuck .There a wait step which it was ok
in the past and now it does not work , I assume that with a
refresh it may work . If i delete the BPM and import it again in
the configuration enviroment is it problem ?

Hi,
It should not be a problem.
Aferter reimporting your bpm, check in SXI_CACHE that the active version is the version that you desire.
You can reactivate it from there if the version is wrong.

i have defined two container elements AI_sender and AI_receiver which i m using in receive step and send step respectively for the sync send step in between these two i m using AI_sync as synchronous interface,AI_sender as request message and AI_receiver as response message,after defining container elements,do i need to do anythin else with dem too?(like activate dem or anythin like dat)

BPM CACHE REFRESH -

Hi Guys:
I would like to capture the Customer Credit Memo to create alert message with it when there is already exists in R/3. I am using BPM, in the BPM i created container element P_SETTNO to capture the customer credit memo number from XPATH expression. When I am testing it cannot get the value for the container element. Then I thought it's better to refresh CACHE so that it can get the latest version. While refreshing CACHE(sxi_cache) it's giving below error.
" The Value of Expression &INF_SPLITBYLINE.P_SETTNO& Cannot Serve As the Source of an Assignment ".
We are on SP19...
Any clues/sugesstion please.

No luck so far. The sequence of steps I did after delete and re import BPM.
1) Assigning expression value to container variable p_settlement, it's is some how
     doesn't like the expression, it's giving same error as it was giving about
     expression.
2) Then I removed expression and assigned constant value to p_settlement.
     This time no error when activating BPM, but alert message is empty. I am
     concatenating text like below in the alert message.
     <b>text &p_settlement& text</b>
3) Then I even removed container variable and provided static alert message text.
    Alert message is displaying in the Alert Inbox.
What I am suspecting is
1) it's not accepting expression value when assigning to container variable p_settlement.
2) When I concatenate text with dynamic value (&p_settlement&) for alert message, it's not understanding to combine static and dynamic data.
I am trying to achieve here is if the settlement is already exists in the custom table, it should send alert to the intended receipients so that they can take action on it.
I hope you can understand the problem.

BPM: Confirming alerts doesn't refresh alert status

Hi Colleagues,
Have anyone dealt with refreshing problems in Solman's BPM?
If I have a red alert and process it, I proceed to confirm the alert.
In this node, status is changed to green (some cases into grey).
If I get back to the first screen in the BPM, process is still in red leading to confusion to our local monitoring team. It doesn´t matter that no other alerts are current unconfirmed.
You can refresh as many times you want, system remains in red.
I have a message in support but response process is really slow.
They just recomended to apply latest version of note 0001255970 but no effects were observed.
We are in ST 400 SP 17.

(...) Let me explain the difference between Current Status and Open Alerts a
little more:
Every MTE (MTE: Monitoring Tree Element. It is the actual measurement that you are interested in. For example, BDocs con ErrorBDocs con Error defined in component BDocs con Error is an MTE) has configurable thresholds. The thresholds define the values which, when exceeded, create an alert instance. Both yellow and red thresholds can be defined. The alert instance records the time at which the threshold was exceeded,and also have a corresponding status i.e. if the red threshold is
exceeded, a red alert instance is created. When you hit the 'Confirm' button, you are actually clearing the alert instances.
Whereas, in the Current Status view, you actually see the current value of the MTE, which can be red or yellow or green irrespective of what hadhappened in the past.
Therefore, the expected behaviour is that when all the alerts are confirmed, the MTE shows green in the Open Alerts view. But the Current Status view continues to show the actual current status, which may be red or yellow or green. Therefore the DSWP transaction is actually working as expected.

Why the roles that I gave, does not refresh instantly on BPM Administrator?

Another question (sorry for being so annoying...lol), Look I gave to a participant a role using Oracle BPM Administrator. On some occasions, the roles refresh instantly, but in other occasions take a long time to refresh(3 to 4 hours) . Why this happen??? Is there a option what I could force to refresh instantly????. I was cheking on the database and I found that the table is updated as follows: CoreNevadoEngine.PARTICIPANTROLE.
Any adiccional questions I'll be ready to respond.

You might also want to take a look at support note 1073094.1 on Oracle Support. It looks like all of the user's active sessions must be logged out in workspace in order for the update to occur via the directory poller. Otherwise the update will be scheduled for a later time.
This may be fixed in 10.3.2, I'm not sure.

How to force refresh of BPM Workspace programatically?

Hi All,
As part of our project, we have developed a BPM Workflow with ADF forms based on Human Tasks. Once the form has been processed, the window closes.
There are 2 issues thatI am hoping for help with.
1. The worklist is updated only after an explicit refresh is carried out.
2. I notice that the preview pane in the BPM Workspace still has an active version of the form. The form within this pane is modifiable which poses a business risk in our case.
My questions are
1. How do we programmatically force a refresh on the workspace? I'll include this in just after I close the form.
2. Hide the preview pane?
Alternately, can all this be achieved by configurations to the Workspace?
Any suggestions are much appreciated.
Version : JDeveloper : 11.1.1.4, SOA suite 11g.

BPM Composer refreshing at regular intervals

I have Installed soa suite 11.1.1.6. When we logged into bpm composer refresh automatically at regular intervals. All the changes which has been made are lost.

Are you running multiple AV or multiple Firewalls, are they causing the problem.

BPM composer getting refreshed automatically at regular intervals

We have installed SOA Suite 11.1.1.6. While working on BPM composer, the window gets refreshed automatically after regular intervals and the entire work gets lost.
Any help is highly appreciated.

You mention that this is the account of an employee, so I assume a Dialog type user ID.
Sounds to me like a script somewhere with this user ID in it for the connection to the system. Could be anywhere... theoretically also on a PC.
Contact the user and ask them whether they saved their pwd anywhere.
Also activate the SM20 dynamic filters to find the terminal for all types of events (also not critical) before the next pwd lock of the user (128).
If you find that the terminal is an application server of your own system, then you will need to check your jobs again in more detail and in extreme cases even transport imports.

I am using Weblogic 10.3.5 and configured managed server for BPM 11.1.1.5.
The Business Process Composer’s project page is getting auto refresh at every 30 seconds. Kindly give the solution for resolve this issue.

Workflow not updated or refreshed from BPM changes

Hi all,
My BPM Workflow seem to be stuck. All changes I make to my BPM (adding steps etc..) are not reflected in the Workflow.
I've refreshed the Cache several times (Deltas and Full)...
Activated Cache Notifications that were not started yet...
Manually Activated the BPM with SXI_CACHE
Re-activated BPM itself offcourse after each change///
..all to no avail..
Anyone any ideas ??

BPM not refreshed

When doing some changes in the Datype and activativng all.
I get an error running BPM.
It seems that it does not refresh the changes.

Refresh Dropdown List In Presentation In Bpm 10g

I am using Oracle BPM 10g and facing issue in refreshing drop-down list in presentation.
Actually i have a drop-down list with 250 items populated from database. I have some text fields and search button on presentation to narrow down the drop-down list items. Initially i get 250 drop-down list items and when i enter searching text in text field and press search button then i get 5 drop-down list items but list is not refreshed (it display all previous 250 items).
Is there any way to refresh the page without navigation or any idea to get my objective?

Task details are not refreshed on task selection in BPM

Hi All,
I have a Notification project which is generated for the human task. In the BPM, when I try to select any of the tasks, it shows the task details of only one task. These are not being refreshed even after I choose some other task. The task details seem to be those of the first task. Can someone please suggest a solution? I am totally stuck here.
Am I missing some setting here?

BPM Tasklist region refresh

Hi,
We are using SOA Suite 11.1.1.5. We have some customization in in taskdetail page. When the user clicks on "APPROVE" button, we are doing some validation in backing bean and if the validation is successful, the request is approved.
In backing bean, we use below code to approve the request.
BindingContainer bindings = BindingContext.getCurrent().getCurrentBindingsEntry();
OperationBinding operationBinding = bindings.getOperationBinding("APPROVE");
operationBinding.execute();
The request is approved successfully, but the issue is page is not refreshed after approving request. If we manually click on refresh button in tasklist panel, we don't see the request in tasklist.
How do I refresh the tasklist page after executing approve?

Hi Pradeep
How exactly are you tapping this Approve action in your custom Managed Bean. Like Approve/Reject etc are out of box Workflow actions based on Task, and all these actions go to the internal framwork beans. Did you modify these buttons action related property in the task details jspx page and call you custom action method.
Generally we use callback handler classes to validate any workflow actions by creating a custom class that implements ITaskValidationCallback and overwrite some methods. Here we write all our validation code, and if validation fails, we throw the error back on task details page. If validation passes, it completes the action and refershes the top task lists panel with Completed status. Incase if you are interested, here is the post that has some more information.
Assign role, group to Human Task when initiated
See if you can get the bindings associated with the top region also or there should be some APIs to fetch the list of tasks again.

When you say you're having trouble "opening" the BPM Object, is it possible you instead mean you're having trouble expanding the BPM Object?
Just a guess, but if you're having trouble expanding the BPM Object I'd suspect that the object's xcdl contents might be corrupted. You might want to consider exporting and saving a backup of the project and then try deleting the object from the Project Navigator. Rebuild the BPM Object once you've deleted it.
