Refresh Calender,

Hello,
I am using Skillbuilders modal page to edit the content ( text ) of a calender with hide/show region - template 23.
When the modal page gets closed the calender does not get refreshed.
As I got we cannot refresh HTML region ... is Calender considers as an HTML region ??
Is there a way to refresh the calender region ... or I have to refresh the entire page as the modal page gets closed using this code in DA:

One possibility:
In Logic's Preferences/Audio/Devices..
Make sure "Recording Delay" is set to zero.
If it's not set to zero why was it changed?

SSRS reports are always best viewed in IE and the report result what you see in IE always will not be same and consistent in thirdy party browswers.
So consider using IE as workaround.

Request Error Calender could not be found.

This just started happening lately when I've opened iCal but whenever I refresh the Calender, I get an error that says:
Request Error
Calender could not be found.
And it just doesn't pop up one time.
How can this be fixed?

We are not mind readers.

Current date as deafult for Calender Day and user entry

There is a select option for Calender Day for a BW query.
This Calender Day should have a default as Current Date and User entry is also possible.
I have used a Customer exit and written the following code under i_step = 1
data: v_currdt like sy-datum.
clear: v_currdt, vfl_range.
         if i_step = 1.
          vfl_range-sign = 'I'.
          vfl_range-opt = 'EQ'.
          v_currdt = sy-datum.
          vfl_range-low = v_currdt.
          append vfl_range to e_t_range.
         endif.
Please inform if this code is incorrect, because I am not able to see the date at all.

N8 Belle Refresh pb with contacts

Hello,
I have updated my N8 to belle refresh and now I can not access to the details of my contacts.
it is openning the screen (one step before editing it) but nothing is loading, then I am going back to the list of contacts.
Does anyone have the same trouble?
What could I do to fix that?

I have uninstalled Exchange for now I'm doing with Googasync. But I'm reading in other forum/groups that several people are having the same problem, same way, at the same time (these weeks).
What you did before? Simply you maintain Exchange and then suddenly it worked? I've tried several times to do the sync from the same way as you, but that worked only "manually" and only one time, and never automatically.

Uprgrad to ios7 calender won't display text entered. the appointment entered is there becauwse it alerts me to appointments entered

Calender won't display text entered for appointments.
The appointments are there as the phone alerts me as requested. Also the appointments are synced with icloud and Outlook on my computer.
Any appointments entered in computer do not show on phone but are there.

I've managed to fix this!
In case it's helpful to anyone encountering this problem, here's what I did.
I went into the preferences (through the Calendar app, not the System Preferences - didn't want to remove the entire account info, in case I encountered problems getting my email to link again), clicked on the Account tab and removed the Exchange account (by clicking the "-" (minus) sign below the listing of accounts). I then added an account (clicking the "+" sign) and re-entered the information. When asked if I wanted to add these settings for Mail and Contacts, I unclicked those options (bc they're already installed and work fine). Once I completed the information, I closed the settings window, and hit ⌘+R to refresh and all the Exchange appointments appeared.

The little red dot with a bar on the weekly calender

Stupid question...In iCAl I have a little red dot with a bar attached to is that goes across the entire week. It is next to the timeline at about 2:00. It only shows up on the week calender. What is this bar? What does it do? Can one make it go away? It's killing me. I can't find a setting for it, an explanation, a right click...nothing. It's just buggin' me. Anyone???

Welcome to Apple Discussions.
The red dot with the bar is supposed to represent the current "Time of Day." It will/should be displayed in the Day, and Week views. It appears as if your TOD is stagnant, i.e. not working, if is stationary at the 2:00 time, and only visible in the Day view.
There is no user preference to change the normal behavior.
Since your iCal appears not to be working as advertised, you may be able to regain normal function by refreshing the iCal plist file. You will find the com.apple.iCal.plist file in your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences Folder. Quit iCal, drag the .plist file to your Desktop, log out/in or restart and check iCal for normal behavior.

*at the meeting room calender : the meeting room reserved 1 hour after the specified time
*at my calender : i can see the right time i defined at my meeting request

Does this issue occur on Outlook or OWA?
If the issue occur on Outlook, I suggest using OWA to check whether the meeting room calendar shows up the incorrect time.
If in OWA, the meeting room calendar shows the correct time, it seems an issue on the Outlook client side.
I suggest run Outlook under safe mode to avoid some AVs and add-ins.
Also run some switch commands to refresh the caches. Examples as below:

/cleansharing

To observe the change, you have to install the Fix it solution before May 15, 2014.
After you install this Fix it solution, DST will be turned off on June 28, 2014 to mark the beginning of Ramadan.
Important Make sure that you have the latest Windows Cumulative Update for your time zone and DST installed before you running this Fix it solution.

Refresh Prompt Values

Hi, I'm using Crystal reports XI and when I refresh a report, the system will prompt for new values. If the value is a calendar date and I chose the calendar to pick the date, Windows Vista generates a close error and kicks out of Crystal. If I type the date in without using the calendar, everything is Ok. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? Thanks Roger

It might be a possibility that the prompting folder has got corrupted.This is a typical (and known) issue with the date picker(calender) in the parameter window.
if you have some other machine on which CR is installed and this functionality is working fine there,then replace this prompting folder on your machine with the one where its working fine.

iCal (Client) version with 10.6.2, intermittently loses "Refresh Frequency"
10.6.2 SLS with 1.5 mo. new MacPro tower with 4 Cores (just bought)
3GB RAM
Network Homes
Network Calendars (only, no published things, no busysync, all Apple Champagne)
iCal Server enable
Solid, fast network homes, logins quick, kick-*** OD implementation, very few beach balls, though they grow when I get all 12 delegates refreshing calendars every minute.
Push turned off (it doesn't work as advertised, in my tests)
Set iCal client to refresh each minute
12 Read/Write Delegates for each of 13 workstations. (so, we're really expecting a lot, but not a lot, like in, we expect Exchange/Outlook robustness -- on open standards woo hoo)
But yeah, the main symptom is that the ical client loses it mind (at some as yet undetermined interval) and stops refreshing. And the formerly trusting Calendar user, misses a meeting, because the change the delegate made to their calender didn't refresh and the Calendar user shows up an hour late, or misses the event entirely. That won't work.
OK. back to what I've tried. (I haven't tried, but am considering it, moving to PHD)
I have turned off PUSH. I hope that returns some server processing cycles.
I have ( and this fixes it temporarily ) set their refresh frequency to manual. Close Prefs. Open Prefs, set back to 1 Minute. Close prefs. And that holds for a day (?) two days (?) I haven't gotten that far yet. I did that last night. And it saved me from having to remove and add the network calendar account. So, my remedy is down to about 40 seconds and 10 mouse clicks. Still annoying, and should work properly.
Apple Enterprise support is being awesome. They send me the engineering capture tool and I am awaiting the symptom return. Then I run that app and it gobbles up lots of logs on an affected client workstation and the server. So, wish me luck, and send any thoughts or ideas along.

This looks like a bug in the iCal client. I, too, have had problems with delegated calendars and end users mistaking events for being missing, not updated or incorrect only because their local copy was not synced with the true copy on the server. The refresh rate on delegated calendars can be changed with the "Refresh calendars: [ Every 1 minute ]" preference. You can verify this by right-clicking or control-clicking on the delegated calendar and choosing "Show CalDAV Queue." This brings up a queue of activity with the iCal Server. You'll note at the top that it mentions "Refresh every 1 minute."
The problem, of course, is if you quit iCal and recheck the "Show CalDAV Queue" on the delegated calendar, the refresh interval has reverted to some long interval like 300 or 900 minutes. This is a bug, for sure. For now, you can tell your clients not to quit iCal or to refresh manually or reset the refresh interval whenever they restart iCal/their computer, etc.

LOV custom sorting in prompts for calender month

I want to do sorting in prompts in webi for Calender Month in the form (Jan,Feb,Mar....)
Whereas, it comes alphabetically As (Apr,Aug and so on....) i want to know that can we find the solution for the same.
I also want to know if yes can we do it in webi itself or we will have to do it on Information Design Tool?

Hi Foram. I, too, am using HANA as my backend. Here's one way you can sort your data-driven prompts that appear in Web Intelligence:
Open your business layer within the Information Design Tool.
Verify that the column to be displayed in the Webi prompt (e.g., "Month") has been defined in your business layer.
Select the "Parameters and Lists of Values" button.
In the "List of Values" frame, press the down arrow and then select "List of values based on business layer objects".
Give the the list an intuitive name; e.g., "Month LOV".
On the Definition tab, press the "Edit Query..." button.
Drag the column to be displayed in the Webi prompt (e.g, "Month") to the Result Objects frame.
Press the "Sort dialog..." button.
In the Sort dialog box, press the "Insert Sort Object" button.
Select the column to sort on; e.g., "Month" and then press the OK button.
Verify the sort type; e.g., "Ascending".
Press the OK button.
Press the Preview button to confirm the results.
Save and publish the universe to your repository.
Open your Webi report.
Enter into Design mode.
Open the Query Panel.
Select the appropriate query.
In the Query Filters frame, select the prompt (e.g., "Month") and press the "Show prompt properties" button.
In the Prompt Properties dialog box, in the Prompt Properties frame, make sure "Prompt with List of Values" is selected.
Press the OK button.
Press the Close button.
Press the Refresh button.
Confirm that the prompt (e.g., "Month") is sorted properly.

E6 Calender problem

I use E6 for the past 3 months. Everything is fine except the calender. In the calender entries, for anniversaries, I use alarm to remind me the event. This alarm date does not get updated for the subsequent years. As a result, only for the first year, the alarm goes on, then subsequently no alarm. Recently, 2 days back, I updated my e6 to belle refresh also. Still this problem persists. Any one can help??

Presumably you have already tried taking a back up with Nokia Suite upon PC and then hard reset the phone. This will remove any unnecessary data created through usage of the device?
Connect your phone to Nokia Suite and go to Tools > Back up to make the backup, but make sure NOT to tick the Settings box.
Now disconnect the phone from Nokia Suite and enter *#7370# into your phone and default security code 12345, unless you've changed this code yourself.
Once the phone has rebooted, connect the phone to Nokia Suite once more and go to Tools > Restore to restore the back up.

Birthdays will not Sync to calender -- Still not Addressed?

If you created a contact in Outlook, and attach a birth date to that person, it will send it automatically to your calender, thus giving you a reminder for this person's b-day.
If you create a contact on your phone, then sync it will add the b-day to your contact in outlook...HOWEVER.... it will not then transfer the date over to your calender...THUS... you will never receive a reminder of anyones B-day
I spent over 40 minutes with Apple Support, and we checked everything. There is nothing we can do, but report it, and hope they fix it in their next updates.

If you MANUALLY make a new contact or modify one Outlook creates/update a remainder for this event (birthdate, aniversary, etc). Is the own application (Outlook) what manage all process (contact + calendar).
But if you creates a new contact in iphone the information goes to Outlook over SYNC SYSTEM (iTunes) what ONLY send an instruccion to add/modify a contact card whithout launch the add/update service for the associated appointment.
If you edit/save (manually) the contact in Outlook then calendar updates correctly again.
I think what the source of the problem is ITUNES. While Apple makes a correction you can make a vscript what edit/update all your contacs (without change nothing, simply "get contact / save contact". This will force (i hope) Outlook to refresh the calendar.

Factory Calender taking wrongly

Dear Experts,
                     We have extended the factory calender which are assigned to the plants. But after New year the system is thrwing error like " Date lies after factory Calender 01", even though we assigned another factory calender and holi day calender..? This is happening to particulary one plant in one server. All other servers are OK .Then We extended the 01 calender in the development then it is OK. I want to know why system is considering 01 calender instead of assigned calender???

                    The Only one calender is defined and found one Definition only. As SAid by one of our expert there be BUFFER problem as SAP also suggested to refresh the FACTORY CALENDER as it is ending with 2010 year.
                    My Problem got solved as We updated/extended the 01 calender eventhough it is not attached to any plant.
                    My question is Why Particular Plant only behing like this ? If any BUFFER problem is there it will be applicable to all the Plants in that Server. I am getting this error when creating Sales Order (VA01).
                    For this I raised a request Note to SAP.My problem got solved Can I open this question as unanswered or Can I close it as I got solution ? Please Let me know Sir.
