Refresh in/out/crossfades

After loading a project, some of my regionbased fade-ins and -outs were corrupted (played back some quite exciting audio ;-)) Quit Logic - restarted - loaded again - nope! Checked the Manual, but did not find anything regarding "Refreshing fades" or the like. We got Refresh Freeze Tracks, so I miss the opportunity to do the same with the rendered fades. I guess I just could trash the .aif fadefile lying on the same level as the project file, but this seems more like a workaround....

Try this:
Options > Audio > Delete Fade files

  • Belle Refresh Roll Out...

    I know the Belle firmware update/refresh is being rolled out gradually, but does anyone know when the rollout is due to be completed?
    I would expect by now that all Belle phones should have received the update but I haven't received anything yet.
    I have also read about some new homescreen widgets for Belle users who have not yet received the Belle Firmware update, again I haven't received these.
    Can anyone from  Nokia (or elsewhere) tellme when I might receive one or both of thses updates please?
    My phone is an N8 on the 02 network in the UK
    Software version: 111.030.0609
    Version Date: 2011-11-26
    Custom Version: 111.030.0609.210.11
    Custom Version Date: 2011-01-16

    Hi Arkwright,
    Sounds like if there will be a firmware update is being released for your product code, then it may be delayed as it hasn't been approved / worked on / tested by your network operator, O2. Your first point of call would be to contact O2 and ask if the Belle Refresh update will be made available for your N8. Failing that, it is best to contact your local Nokia Care point to ask about the availability of the update for your device.

  • N8 - Belle refresh not out yet?

    I keep reading that all of you have updated your N8 to belle reffresh and it has been a while since the update came out but my nokia suite doesent show the option avalaible
    So i want to know if the update was released for my type of phone
    O2 UK
    Thanks!

    Hi Surfamuit,
    In the case that your phone isn't a branded handset, the responsibility for updates most likely lies with your country's Nokia. In addition to generic unbranded firmware, there are Country Variants released, so this may very well be the case that your local Nokia hasn't approved the firmware update / worked on it at all (as Country Variant releases are often tailored to the local country's phone requirements, or certain apps included etc etc).
    As first point of call, I would contact your country's Nokia, whether that be your local Nokia Care point, or in the case that there are none, to contact the offices directly (e.g. in my case I would have to do that, since all the Nokia Care points in Australia have closed down). Ask them about the availability of the Belle Refresh update, and whether it will in fact be available.
    Hope this helps.

  • Planning Refresh wiping out access security

    Hi,
    We are facing issues with access secuirty getting wiped out from planning applications
    We need assistance in researching what is causing the read/write access security to get wiped out from planning applications. Twice now in the last month this security has been eliminated and had to be manually reloaded.
    This is how the refresh script looks like, we perform refresh on daily basis. Refresh completes with no issues.
    . /opt/hyperion/Planning/bin/CubeRefresh.sh /A:appname /U:$UID /P:$PWD /R /D /FS
    CubeRefresh.sh look like this
    PLN_JAR_PATH=/opt/hyperion/Planning/bin
    export PLN_JAR_PATH
    . "${PLN_JAR_PATH}/setHPenv.sh"
    "${HS_JAVA_HOME}/bin/java" -classpath ${CLASSPATH} com.hyperion.planning.HspCubeRefreshCmd $1 $2 $3 $4 $5 $6 $7
    Could someone please assist on this? what could be the possible root cause?

    I take it is version 11.1.1.x then maybe it relates to the following Oracle support doc - "Hyperion Planning Security Disappears After Refreshing Security (Doc ID 1378363.1)"
    Cheers

  • Supervisor Desktop 4.5 - TPM and Refresh grayed out

    This might be a corrupt install of Supervisor, but I wanted to see if anyone else has seen this.
    I have a customer where their Refresh button is grayed out (on both the main window and report dialogs). Also, their Team Performance Message area is grayed out. You can select teams until you're blue in the face and the TPM fields never enable.
    Anyone else have this? Could this be caused by ports being blocked by a firewall?
    DB

    Geoff,
    We will use SD for team-leaders to view agent status and calls queuing but we also need all agents to see calls queuing which is where we will use a wallboard package.
    Our current ACD (non-cisco) wallboards are displaying the following data which refreshes every 3 seconds:
    * total number of calls recieved / handled / abandoned since midnight.
    * number of agents available to recieve a call
    * number of agents logged in but in an 'idle' state (lunch, break, meeting etc)
    * number of agents talking
    * number of agents in a 'wrap' state.
    but more importantly, I also display on the same screen:
    * number of calls in a queue waiting to be answered
    * longest call queuing.
    When speaking with Cisco prior to purchasing the product, I was informed that the Supervisor desktop will update real-time information in less than our current 3 second refresh rate. This would not appear to be the case!!
    The Wallboard package which takes its information from the Admin Workstation we understood would take slightly longer at around a 5 second delay.
    From what you're saying below, the SD wouldn't even match our current 3 seconds? Our contact centre managers weren't happy with a 5 second refresh rate so I was wondering if any other customer of Cisco UCCE was able to display real-time call queueing infomation (either on the SD or Wallboards) with a refresh rate of less than 5 seconds??
    Once again, any help would be much appreciated.
    Regards,
    Phill.

  • How do I find out the specs of an LCD TV (for the modeline)

    I bought a Toshiba 37x3030D LCD-TV, and I'm planning to hook it up to the DVI-out. However, I have no idea how to find out the different specs that X needs (vsync, hsync, that sort of thing) and I can't find a readymade modeline anywhere. Is there a decent tool for this, or something?

    There's this really nice utility if you need to figure out a modeline, called gtf. Lets try 1600x1200@85;
    [pelle@pelle-desktop ~]$ gtf 1600 1200 85
    # 1600x1200 @ 85.00 Hz (GTF) hsync: 107.10 kHz; pclk: 234.76 MHz
    Modeline "1600x1200_85.00" 234.76 1600 1720 1896 2192 1200 1201 1204 1260 -HSync +Vsync
    [edit] if you use any kind of modern monitor, you can leave the vertical and horizontal refresh rates out. These should be automatically detected.[/edit]
    btw, i can even start X *without* an xorg.conf, so i was rather surprised you actually needed a modeline for your monitor...

  • One-to-many outer join in MView, is possible?

    Re: 10g R2
    Is it simply not possible to have fast refresh on outer joins that are 1-to-many relations? I have in this script a unique key addition to "fix" it, but it restricts something that I don't want restricted. If indeed this is how it should work, are there any strategies for improving performance for queries on this type of thing? The "fact_table" in this example is actually another materialized view with simple inner joins, so that works perfectly, but I was trying to improve query performance in this case too.
    Run the script w/ dbms output...all self contained within the schema.

    That's what I thought too. As far as I'm concerned, this is perfectly acceptable. Of course I'm in 10g R2, but:
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14223/basicmv.htm#sthref534
    I keep re-reading the rules, trying to see why it thinks I'm violating one of them. Might have to meta-link this one.
    Just ran this on a different box, ran fine. Seem to have configuration issues between the boxes.
    Edit: Just determined that the boxes that this doesn't work on have Oracle parameters for compatibility set to 10.1.0.2.0, I'll change them and check if it modifies behavior

  • Apple, please fix safari random crash and tab auto refresh

    Apple, are those issues ever going to get fixed? They destroyed iOS 7's usability and the latest 7.1 beta doesnt seem to address either.
    1) Safari randomly crashes -  happens multiple times a day. Sometimes opening new pages, sometimes scrolling through existing page.  This issue has NEVER happened on iOS 6.
    2) Tabs auto refreshing when you switch from 1 tab to the next - it is EXTREMELY annoying, for example when i was typing up a post in a tab or looking at the result of a long search, then need to lookup something else so i open up a new tab, then when I go back to the original tab, it automatically refreshes wiping out everything i just typed or the searh result.  This issue has NEVER happened in iOS 6.
    I am using ipad air with the latest update. Please fix them, it's unacceptable.

    This is a user-to-user forum hosted by Apple. You are only talking to other users here not Apple.

  • Cannot find Nokia Belle Refresh on E7 RM-626

    Hi,
    Despite Symbian Belle Refresh being out for quite a while, I cannot seem to download it. My phone says the current version (111.030.0609) is the most recent version. Eventhough the nokia website says there should be a new version (111.040.1511) http://discussions.nokia.com/t5/Software-Updates/Nokia-Belle-Refresh-update-just-launched/td-p/15347... and http://www.nokia.com/nl-nl/support/product/e7-00/.
    I have the same problem via Nokia Suite, it also says I have the latest version. (111.030.0609)
    Does anybody know why?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    @pwn1996 did you try the Nokia Software Recovery Tool already? There in that tool, what is your Nokia Product Code? It is the same as with *#0000#. Does that code match the one which is printed on the label of your phone (7 characters)? That tiny sticker between the keyboard and display. The Nokia Product Code determines your firmware variant which determines your current version. We can check together, only with this code!
    Or do you have 059F3W6 or 059F6L7 as well?

  • JPA -- Best way to refresh a List association?

    Hi,
    I need to refresh a OneToMany association.
    For example, I have two entities: Header & Detail.
    @Entity
    @Table(name="HEADERS")
    public class Header implements Serializable {
        @OneToMany(mappedBy="header")
        private List<Detail> details;
    @Entity
    @Table(name="DETAILS")
    public class Detail implements Serializable {
        @ManyToOne(fetch=FetchType.LAZY)
        @JoinColumn(name="HDR_ID", referencedColumnName="HDR_ID")
        private Header header;
    }So, I fetch the Header along with all its Details.
    At a later point of time, I know that some Detail rows in the database have been changed behind my back. I need to re-fetch the list of Details. What should I do?
    1. I could add a cascade parameter to the @OneToMany association. I could specify:
    @OneToMany(mappedBy="header", cascade={CascadeType.REFRESH})Then I could run:
    entityManager.refresh(header);The trouble is that, since all the Details are already in the cache, the cached entities will be returned, not the ones fetched from the database. So, I won't refresh a thing. A query will be sent to the database indeed, but I will get the cached (i.e. stale) entities. I don't know of a way to specify something like
    setHint(TopLinkQueryHints.REFRESH, HintValues.TRUE)dynamically for associations, so that the values in the cache would be replaced with the ones fetched from the database.
    2. I could try to turn off the caching for the while Entity class. The trouble is that for some reason this doesn't work (see my other question here JPA -- How can I turn off the caching for an entity? Besides, even if it worked, I don't want to turn off the caching in general. I simply want to refresh the list sometimes.
    Could anyone tell me what's the best way to refresh the association?
    Best regards,
    Bisser

    Hi Chris,
    First, let me thank you that you take the time to answer my questions. I really appreciate that. I wish to apologize for my late reply but I wasn't around the PC for a while.
    TopLink doesn't refresh an entity based on a view. I will try to explain in more detail. I hope you'll have patience with me because this might be a bit longer even than my previous post. I will oversimplify my actual business case.
    Let's assume we have two tables and a view:
    create table MASTERS
      (id number(18) not null primary key,
       master_name varchar2(50));
    create table DETAILS
      (id number(18) not null primary key,
       master_id number(18) not null,   -- FK to MASTER.ID
       price number(7,2));
    create view DETAILS_VW as
      select id, master_id, price
      from details;Of course, in real life the view is useful and actually peforms complex aggregate calculations on the details. But at the moment I wish to keep things as simple as possible.
    So, I create Entities for the tables and the view. Here are the entities for MASTERS and DETAILS_VW, only the essential stuff (w/o getters, setters, sequence info, etc.):
    @Entity
    @Table(name="MASTERS")
    public class Master {
         @Id
         @Column(name="ID", nullable=false)
         private Long id;
         @Column(name="MASTER_NAME")
         private String masterName;
         @OneToMany(mappedBy="master", fetch=FetchType.LAZY, cascade=CascadeType.REFRESH)
         private List<DetailVw> detailsVw;
    @Entity
    @Table(name="DETAILS_VW")
    public class DetailVw {
         @Id
         @Column(name="ID")
         private Long id;
         @ManyToOne(fetch=FetchType.LAZY)
         @JoinColumn(name="MASTER_ID", referencedColumnName="ID")
         private Master master;
         @Column(name="PRICE")
         private Double price;
    }So, now we have the tables and the entities. Let's assume one master row and two detail rows exist:
    MASTER:  ID=1, MASTER_NAME='Master #1'
    DETAIL:  ID=1, MASTER_ID=1, PRICE=3
    DETAIL:  ID=2, MASTER_ID=1, PRICE=8And now let's run the following code:
    // List the initial state
    Master master = em.find(Master.class, 1L);
    List<DetailVw> detailsVw = master.getDetailsVw();
    for (DetailVw dv : detailsVw) {
         System.out.println(dv);
    // Modify a detail
    EntityTransaction tx = em.getTransaction();
    tx.begin();
    Detail d = em.find(Detail.class, 2L);
    d.setPrice(1);
    tx.commit();
    // Refresh
    System.out.println("----------------------------------------");
    em.refresh(master);
    // List the state AFTER the update
    detailsVw = master.getDetailsVw();
    for (DetailVw dv : detailsVw) {
         System.out.println(dv);
    }And here are some excerpts from the console (only the essentials):
    DetailVw: id=1, price=3
    DetailVw: id=2, price=8
    UPDATE DETAILS SET PRICE = ? WHERE (ID = ?)
         bind => [1, 2]
    SELECT ID, MASTER_NAME FROM MASTERS WHERE (ID = ?)
         bind => [1]
    SELECT ID, PRICE, MASTER_ID FROM DETAILS_VW WHERE (MASTER_ID = ?)
         bind => [1]
    DetailVw: id=1, price=3
    DetailVw: id=2, price=8You see, the UPDATE statement changes the DETAILS row. The price was 8, but was changed to 1. I checked the database. It was indeed changed to 1.
    Furthermore, due to the refresh operation, a query was run on the view. But as you can see from the console output, the results of the query were completely ignored. The price was 8, and continued to be 8 even after the refresh. I assume it was because of the cache. If I run an explicit query on DETAILS_VW with the hint:
    q.setHint(TopLinkQueryHints.REFRESH, HintValues.TRUE);then I see the real updated values. But if I only refresh with em.refresh(master), then the DetailVw entities do not get refreshed, even though a query against the database is run. I have tested this both in JavaSE and in OC4J. The results are the same.
    An explicit refresh on a particular DetailVw entity works, though:
    DetailVw dvw = em.find(DetailVw.class, 2L);
    em.refresh(dvw);
    System.out.println(dvw);Then the console says:
    DetailVw: id=2, price=1So, the price is indeed 1, not 8.
    If you can explain that to me, I will be really thankful!
    Best regards,
    Bisser

  • How do you move the refresh button?

    I can't believe anyone would have been so moronic to make it fixed in such a stupid place, so how do I move it? Seems to be getting worse than IE now, and I thought its main attraction was its ability to be customised?
    Come on, wake up!

    Thanks, I'm glad there is some common sense somewhere, totally daft, it is easier to use F5 than the refresh button out in the desert by itself.
    I'm glad they don't design cars, they would put the gas pedal in the trunk, and the parking brake under the hood :)
    I don't see the logic in having to have an add-on co customise a "customisable" application

  • Refresh the screen after a long calculation

              Hi,
              I have a problem here:
              After I click a submit button, I want start a long process(running a stored procedure
              in
              database for about 20 mins) and after it is finished, screen will refresh automatically
              to reflect
              changes. I was using a thread to do the calculation but not able to refresh the
              browser after calculation is finished. Any one knows how to do it?
              Thanks.
              Kim

    Kim,
              It was just pseudo-code to hand you an idea of using Refresh.
              As for the piece you provided, it has some problems:
              1. It looks like you start marginServer() Every time there is a refresh
              2. It looks like you have marginServer as a field in the servlet, which
              is not correct as it's not guaranteed that the same instance will serve
              the next request. You'd better keep in HttpSession.
              HTH.

  • Iframe, jsp & refresh/reload issues

    Good Morning,
    I have a problem with iframe, this is what happend:
    I'm using a code like this one
    ...some html code...
    <iframe src="myPage.jsp"></iframe>
    ...some code here too...myPage.jsp has a form, I sumbit the form and then if something will happen I redirect to newPage.jsp.
    Well, now, if I'm on newPage.jsp, if i try to reload this page using F5 or the browser button the page that will be reloaded is myPage.jsp and not the page I was seeing.
    Does anyone know why?
    Thanx a lot,
    Omar

    You are actually refreshing the outer page that contains the iframe, which will send a new request to myPage.jsp in order to fill in the iframe. If you need the functionality of refreshing outer page does not reset the inner page to the default, you will have to store the page that is supposed to be displayed in the iframe as a variable in the user's session. Have it default to myPage.jsp.
    //In the page that contains the iframe...
    <%
      String iframePage = (String)session.getAttribute("iframePage");
      if (iframePage == null) {
        iframePage = "myPage.jsp";
        session.setAttribute("iframePage", iframePage);
      iframePage = response.encodeURL(iframePage);
    %>
      <iframe src="<%=iframePage%>"></iframe>Then when something happens that makes it go to myPage.jsp, change the variable in session to newPage.jsp.
    //someplace where the myPage.jsp form is processed ...
      String iframePage = "newPage.jsp";
      session.setAttribute("iframePage", iframePage);
      iframePage = response.encodeURL(iframePage);
      response.sendRedirect(iframePage);You will have to know when to remove the variable from the session, or reset it back to the default value...

  • New curent kernel and currenc gcc out of sync

    I ran
    pacman -Syu
    this morning. I rebooted in console mode and recompiled ndiswrapper and the ATi drivers, then rebooted again. Now both ndiswrapper and fglrx are invalid, and I have no networking or GUI. The current kernel seems to have been built with gcc 4.1 but my current gcc is gcc 4.0. Seems like somebody goofed.
    I don't mind packages being close to the cutting edge, but this isn't a "too new" problem. It seems more like a "oops I mixed up current with testing and released it to everyone" problem. Am I wrong?

    Yep, i had to rollback because NFORCE wouldnt work either.
    I started trying every mirror, because i thought they were out of sync or something, I think you should post some note on the front page about it, saying that there is no new GCC yet.
    Regards!
    (By the way, everything else worked nice and smooth, except for nv xorg drivers, that for some reason would get my monitor refresh rates out of ratio or something...).
