Refresh Report BOEXI R1 Error

HI,
My client is using BOEXI R1 on Win 2003 server with Business Views.
There are 14 Parameters some Static and some Dynamic. AlL LOV's are controlled withing BV.
I'm trying to refresh reports for the parameters LOV's and then set the CMC Defaults.
I get the following error.
Failed to read data from report file C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\tmpreport\~ci40905f9f8b258a0.rpt. Reason: Failed to open print engine for C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\tmpreport\~ci4c3c5f9f8b2a1e0.rpt. Ensure that CRPE32 is installed on this computer.

The BO has been installed on the E: drive and not the C: drive.
Is there a way to manually change the registers so that the CRPE32.dll points to the E: drive.
We do not want to install updates as this would invole large scale IT change control.

All,
I have found a work arround for this problem.
Clearly the cause of the problem is the installation of BOEXI on a drive other than C:
I'm sure that BO support may know where to go to change BO settings.
I simply removed the line of code
' reportInterface.RefreshProperties()
I instructed that the users should use the Object Reprository Refresh on the Administrators Launch Pad before they use my ASP program to update the CMC Defult Parameters Current Values.
I hope Ted or someone from BO Support can advise where in BO settings the default directory settings are keept.

    Yes. Oracle 10g client installed on both application server. I've teste the universe connection from server, it's working fine.
    Any idea what could be probable causes of "DBDriver failed to load: C:\Program Files\.....\dbd_oci.dllu201D error?
    One observation, the path of dbd_oci.dll is the BO installation directory of my local machine (on server BO is not installed on C drive). Why it's referring dbd_oci.dll from local client even in 3 tier mode?

    I have created a report on Crystal Enterprise 4 based on IDT universe.
    Thereafter I had refreshed report data for viewing layout to get an idea of further formatting improvements.
    While doing subtle changes report gets crashed frequently returning the following error:
    Grid row too large to fit in the page. - [JRC00002186]
    Any idea why this error occurs frequenly and how this can be handled ?

    What kind of objects are there on the Report Header?
    Could you try suppressing it to make sure it's one of the objects on this section that's causing the issue?

  • Invalid Report File Path Error

    I have included several Crystal Reports as embedded resources in a Visual Studio 2010 C# project.  When I try to run the application on a client PC I receive an invalid report file path error.  Why am I receiving this error if the rpt is embedded in the manifest?

    The following code now works on my development machine.  It obtains the server name and database name from the configuration file.  When I run on my client PC, however, it prompts me to log into the database.  It provides the correct server name but the database name is blank and integrated security is not checked.  The database name field is not enabled so I cannot provide a value.

  • Report Generation Toolkit Error

    I  have an application that generates multiple excel spreadsheets each containing a table and four graphs.  This has been working fine for three months but I am now getting error when generating the reports.  The source of the error is in the Excel_create_workbook as indicated on the attached picture.  I am passing in a template name for my excel reports.  The error code (-2147352571) states a type mismatch.  The file path to my template is a constant so I can't see how sometimes I get a type mismatch and other times I don't.
    Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks for the reply, however, this VI is part of the Report Generation Toolkit so I don't want to have to modified NI's code if possible.  I did try your suggestion without saving the VI and I still got the same error. 
    Any other ideas? 
    BTW - I encountered this problem first in an executable but have since seen the error in the development code.
    Does anyone know if there is a limit to how many times you can create an excel document from LabVIEW?  I wouldn't think so but the error seems to happen if I try to create several (more then five usually) documents at a time.

    Problem Statement : When the user is trying to generate report for Stock variance report from Oracle Retail Merchandising System the report crashes with error code REP-56048.
    The steps to reproduce are specific to Oracle Retail Merchandising system application and hence I have not mentioned here.
    The REP-56048 error seems to be generic. Could you please advise me on this issue.

  • Report failing with error

    Hi All,
    Application R12.1.3 with Shared Application Tier 2 nodes
    Database : 11g R 11.2.0.2 with RAC 2 nodes with ASM
    We have a concurrent program which gets fired when submitted thru API . For each order program is run once . If there are more orders it will run n number of times . At this time one request is failing with error
    REP-0004:
    REP-0069:
    REP-57054:
    But for the same failed request when we run separately(with same parameters) it is completing Normal . There is no other error in Manager Logs.
    please help what can be the issue.

    lots of ways we can do that.Check your reconciliation reports at your organistaion , then you will get an idea how they compare each time otherwise in general everybody copies data in excel and want to compare.

    You can try to install "Microsoft Report Viewer 2010 Redistributable Package" on your server to check if it works for you.
    For the web.config info, it's for web application. And I'd like to know how did you create the report, and whether the report is for a web app or reporting service. From the error message and report, seems it's not a TFS issue. If it's SSRS project
    issue, please post this issue to
    this forum. If it's a report viewer control issue, you can post this issue in

  • Report data binding error

    I have created a banded report split into departments. Each
    recore has a value associated with it. The report runs fine if I
    dont try to sub-total each departments vale, but if I add a
    calculated field to the banding, I get the following error:
    Report data binding error Error evaluating expression :
    textField_2 Source text : calc.Department_Total.
    Variable calc.Department_Total is undefined.
    The calculated field is simply the sum of the values, with an
    initial value of 0 and set to reset when the group changes on the
    department. I am using the same data type for the calc field as it
    automatically gave for the original Value field (Big Decimal)
    Any ideas?

    on group changes?? The sum total works for the report, jusyt not
    the bands. I desparate here, pulling my hair out.

    Make sure you're using the latest SP:

    Make sure you are disposing of the report object once you are done with it and before you re-run it with new parameters (.close, .dispose).
    Test without the combo box. Let the report prompt. Can you reproduce the behavior now? If not, try to supply the parameter values via a text box. Can you reproduce the issue now? E.g.; is it the combo box that is the issue, or the report?

    ORACLE_HOME is on mount point u03, checked config.properties but no mention of mount point /u01.
    Dont know from where /u01 came. Could you please help me re configuring the env pointing to /u03.

    Ensure that the report name is correct. Also ensure that the report exist in REPORTS_PATH environment variable. Otherwise run the report including the reports path.
    E.g.
    report=<reports directory>/test2.rdf

    According to your description, you recently updated SQL Server 2008 R2 to SP3, Report Builder doesn’t work since then the error occurs: "Application validation did not succeed. Unable to continue".
    This is an known issue in SSRS 2008 R2 SP3 that Microsoft has published an article addressing this issue. It is not planning to release a fix for this issue. But we could implement one of the following workarounds:
    Install and run Report Builder 3.0 of SQL Server 2008 R2 RTM.
    Install and run Report Builder of SQL Server 2014.
    Uninstall Service Pack 3 then uninstall Service Pack 2 and then reinstall Service Pack 3.
