Refreshing in-memory dbvalues

Hi:
I am running WLS704 with clustering environment.
We are storing some of the master table values in our application memory through our singletons. But problem comes when we have some values changed in the back end. We wrote a refresh singletons class which will update the cache. But we will have to hit all the managed nodes to refresh those values. This will not refresh all nodes at the same time.
So I am wondering whether WLS has any tool kind of thing to call one of the java methods and which will take care of bringing data from database.
I appreciate your help.
Thanks

Video takes up a lot more space than photos. There's no hard and fast rule, but video can be up to a gig a minute but photos don't have time spans, however I have seen a single photo be up to 70+ megs.
Quality and (in the terms of video length) determine file size. Photos can also just be a few kilibytes.
I've never found an absolute to deletion, what I tend to do is err on the side of caution. Back them up somewhere and then delete off your ipad to free up room.
The iPad really isn't the best place for long term storage.

  • Please refresh my memory re: NR in Bridge previews

A major senior moment leads me to ask for help in refreshing my memory regarding the Noise Reduction applied in ACR not being reflected in the Preview panel within Bridge after clicking the Done button in ACR.
My recollection was that Noise Reduction and Sharpening applied to a raw image in ACR are not reflected, or at least not fully reflected in the Preview panel nor in the thumbnail in the Bridge Contents panel.
I've been trying to do a forum search for a post where one of the high gurus (Knoll, Chan or Schewe?) confirmed this fact in this forum, but due to the aforementioned major senior moment, I've been unable to find the right keywords for my search, so I've come up blank.
    Thanks in advance.

Here's an example that illustrates what I'm referencing.
The first screen shot shows an untouched raw image of an accidental camera discharge which is alomost totally black as viewed in the Preview panel of Bridge.  You can barely make faint parts of the boy's face.
The second screen shot is the Bridge preview of the image processed in ACR 7.2 after applying some massive noise reduction and clicking on Done in ACR.
The third and last screen shot shows the Bridge preview of the same image with the same ACR adjustments as number two after opening it in PSD and saving it as a PSD without altering it in any way after opening it in Photoshop, then saving it intact.  That is in fact exactly how the image looks inside ACR too.
The difference in noise reduction is massive.
Obviously this whole thing is an extreme experiment I carried out only to stress-test the noise reduction in ACR 7.2C1.  The shot, as I said, was an accidental camera discharge while the camera was hanging from my neck in the darkened entrance to a pizza place and the flash was off.
So here we go, as per the above explanation:
(Please click on thumbnails for larger views.)
That ACR 7.2RC1 was able to retrieve that much of the image is almost a miracle.

  • Music player not refreshing the memory card in Nok...

    Hi All,
I have , once, removed my mobile phone from data cable without safety remove and there it gave me lot of troubles. My facebook was not able to be connected through the provided application and my music player stopped working as and stopped refreshing saying that "File corrupted"
Finally. i removed my memory card, formatted it and made it worked.
Nokia should consider fixing these issues as we respect them a lot and think that they are still the #1 hardware vendor and will keep giving us good options than Samsung - android and will compete with apple phones.
    Thanks,
    Madas

It already states that removing your cable without properly ejecting the device will cause problems with the software and memory card inside your device.
This issue is user side removing the cable early. To prevent further corruptions, please safely remove hardware from your desktop.
If you find this post helpful, a click upon the white star at bottom would always be appreciated.

  • How to refresh Phone memory thoroughly?

    Hi guys,
I'm using Nokia6300. It has internal phone memory of 7.8MB. But in MEMORY STATUS shown as below:
    Free Memory 710KB
    Gallery 1.1MB
    Messaging 374KB
    Applications 369KB
    Bookmarks 2.0KB
Total used memory only 1.9MB, Could anyone find the answer where the rest of the memory hidden? And how to clear or refresh it to become free memory?
    Thanks!!

Is your handset branded? (i.e. Vodafone, 3, Orange, etc.) It could be that some service provider customized software is eating up the space.
If not, then you probably have some temporary files on there (especially previewed themes) which are occupying memory. Try downloading MobiMB for 6300 and use it to browse for hidden files and folders on your phone and remove them. Be cautious in removing files, however, so you don't run into bigger problems. =)

  • Unable to refresh buffer memory

    Hi Gurus,
I am trying the use the refresh an ALV report output.
Whenever i click on the refresh button it again calls the select queries.
In that select query i am using one function module 'STATUS_READ'.
Now this fm is giving the same result that it was giving when the report is run for the first time even though the value is changed now.
I think it's not clearing the buffer area for a particular input value that's why it's giving the same result for a particular input.
    Please provide your input.

  • Can somebody refresh my memory.

    Hi,
I had my G4 Quicksilver set -up with OS 10.3.9 running OS 9.1 in "Classic Mode" so I could open up my old Quark 3.3 application.
I developed Corrupted software with the Computer running incredibly slow. I did a Clean Install. No hardware damage.
(I forgot it was long ago) how I set-up Classic Mode. I just nstalled 10.3 and upgraded to 10.3.9 But now I can't install OS 9. Do I have to re-fomat the HD to first install OS 9, upgrade to 9.1( up to 9.2.2 if I want) and THEN, install 10.3.
I had to do a Clean Install. I had no choice, so I lost my OS 9 System Folder. How do I sert-up Classic Mode again ?Thanks.

OK, I just checked and the earliest QS requires OS 9.2 to startup. If you don't have a 9.2 installer, then you cannot startup the computer into OS 9. On the CD it should say which version of OS 9 is on the installer disc. If it isn't 9.2, then you will need to locate a 9.2 or later installer CD. In fact you probably should look for a 9.2.2 disc because I don't know which QS model you have, and later versions required 9.2.2.

  • MSCS and Kernel patches: Can someone please refresh my memory?

    Greetings,
We run 4.7 Ent on a 2-node MSCS Cluster (SQL).
I need to do a kernel upgrade, but I have forgotten the precise distribution of kernel files outside of the "run" directory for the cluster.
    I understand they are:
    Main Kernel Files
    shared_drive \usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\exe\run
    MSCS Files (on each node)
    local_drive \Windows\SapCluster\
    local_drive \Windows\System32\
However, could someone please remind me which files go into
"SapCluster" and "System32", or if you know the location, point me to an SAP document that details the kernel patch process in an MSCS Cluster (rather than a general MSCS config document which is of no use in this situatio).
Thanks if anyone is able to help.

    Hi Tim,
    We have a productive SAP R/3 4.7 (Windows 2003 IA64 Oracle 9.2) on a 2 nodes MSCS cluster.
    In C:\windows\SapCluster
We have the following files :
    backint.exe
    brarchive.exe
    brbackup.exe
    brconnect.exe
    brgui
    brrecover.exe
    brrestore.exe
    brspace.exe
    brtools.exe
    cpio.exe
    cpqccms.dll
    dd.exe
    dev_rout
    mkszip.exe
    mt.exe
    niping.exe
    pstat.exe
    rfcoscol.exe
    routtab.txt
    sapevents.dll
    sapgw
    sapntchk.exe
    sapntwaitforhalt.exe
    saposcol.exe
    saprouter.exe
    sapsrvkill.exe
    sapstart.exe
    sapstartsrv.exe
    sapstartsrv.exe.new
    sapxpg.exe
    uncompress.exe
So basically the SAP cluster dlls and the brtools.
We have also  C:\windows\SapCluster\brgui with the brgui files
and C:\windows\SapCluster\sapgw with the standalone gateway executables
In C:\windows\system32 we have these SAP files :
    sapmmc.dll
    sapmmcada.dll
    sapmmcinf.dll
    sapmmcms.dll
    saprc.dll
    saprcex.dll
    sapstart.log
    sapstartsrv.exe
To update the kernel, we do it one node after the other one switching the SAP resources between the 2 nodes .
We of course keep the same patch level in the different directories.
    Hope this helps.
    Olivier
    Hope this helps.

  • Refresh my memory (stat counters)

A client has asked for a stat counter on each page of their

What's the technical information about why these are not a

    for getting
that information. (hey after all I'm dealing firstly with

I know counters don't provide any 'real' information but I
    need to put
forward a convincing argument as to why they don't. I also
    need to
provide an alternative method as to get access to how many
    visitors have

    Do all
servers provide easy access to web stats. I'm not hosting
    this
particular site someone else provided that part of the
    service so I
    don't know what's available.
As an aside note is there a resource where I can download

    Cheers,

Yes, as far as these client-side counters go. Ask the client
    what kind of
information they expect to get from this.

  • Refresh my memory!

On our iMac that has four logins, there is an icon at the top right-hand corner of the screen which allows us to quickly switch between each other's accounts.
On a friend's Mac yesterday we set up more than one login and I can't, for the life of me, remember how to enable this quick switching feature 'on' for him as we have on our iMac. Could someone please point me in the right direction??
    Thanks,

  • Refresh my memory, please.

    .....got two machines: iMac/Tiger10.4.11/QT 7.3, iBook/Panther10.3.9/QT 6.5.2.
My question? Why did I downgrade the iBook to 6.5.2 a long time ago? I remember having trouble and was happy to find the de-installer and instructions here in discussions. (still got it, too).
Is it time now to upgrade the panther machine to match the iMac?
I've downloaded 7.3.1 for both Tiger and Panther, but a search of the Forum showed that people are still looking for a way to go back to 6.5.2.
If QuickTime is troublesome beyond 6.5.2 in panther, why is there now a version 7.3.1?
Your help and guidance is appreciated.
    Ken

I'm sorry, you're missing my point entirely. What I mean is do I WANT to do the upgrade for Panther.
QT 7 caused trouble with Panther when it was new. That's why I and many others used Apple's de-installer and went back to 6.5.2. Since then I've opted not to use the various upgrades to QT 7, (Panther versions only).
Now, I've forgotten just what the problems were and why I retrograded in the first place.
I'm here now to learn of any compelling reasons to upgrade or not upgrade.
    Thanks, Ken

It is not refreshing the memory every time.
So plz give me proper solution.
    Its urgent.
    Thanks
    Ranveer

    Hi,
I suppose you are trying to store some particular value in memory in one program and then retieve it in another.
If so try using EXPORT data TO MEMORY ID 'ZC1'. and IMPORT data FROM MEMORY ID 'ZC1'.
To use SET PARAMETER/GET PARAMETER the specified parameter name should be in table TPARA. Which I don't think is there in your case.
    Sample Code :
Data declarations for the function codes to be transferred
    DATA : v_first  TYPE syucomm,
           v_second TYPE syucomm.
    CONSTANTS : c_memid TYPE char10 VALUE 'ZCCBPR1'.
Move the function codes to the program varaibles
      v_first  = gv_bdt_fcode.
      v_second = sy-ucomm.
Export the function codes to Memory ID
    EXPORT v_first
v_second TO MEMORY ID c_memid.        "ZCCBPR1  --- Here you are sending the values to memory
    Then retrieve it.
Retrieve the function codes from the Memory ID
      IMPORT v_first  TO v_fcode_1
             v_second TO v_fcode_2
      FROM MEMORY ID c_memid.                                   "ZCCBPR1
      FREE MEMORY ID c_memid.                                   "ZCCBPR1
After reading the values from memory ID free them your problem should be solved.
    Thanks

I am running SQL Developer 1.5.5.59.69 in XP and I am having an issue with what seems to be a memory leak. I left SQL Developer running over night, and when I looked at the task manager, the memory usage was really high, and each time task manager refreshed, the memory usage was going up by a few KB.
Is this issue known by the development team?
    Kurz

Yes, and has been happening since day 1, for almost anyone trying the same.
No idea is dev is planning to fix this. Only way to have it tracked is logging a SR through Metalink/MOS.

  • Is there any issue in using ABAP Memory ID to exchange between the programs

    Hi All,
Do we expect any issues if we use ABAP Memory ID's to exchange the data between different programs?
I was told by my colleagues that, we can expect some unforeseen issues if we use ABAP Memory ID's. These issues could be because of refresh of Memory ID's in the Standard program.
Is that true? Need experts opinion on this question.
    Thanks a lot in advance.
    Regards,
    RSS

I can think of such case only if you pick memory id of some standard name. Anyhow I can't imagine this happens w/o running any standard report on you machine from your custom report. ABAP memory is user dependant so you have your own roll area wherein all run programs can communicate. If you don't run any standard report by means of SUBMIT, you don't have to worry about this aspect either.
Futhermore if you run separate GUI session, or sinmply use /o in same session, you open new external session which gets its own new ABAP memory. So you don't affect your previous one at all.
If you want to be extremely careful, use memory id of some custom, original name i.e. I always use such naming convention NAME_OF_PROGRAM_XXXX where XXX denotes its usage i.e. XXX = 'EMPLOYEES'. If I also don't use SUBMIT I am 100% sure no other program touches/flushes this memory.
Don't believe your collegues and use ABAP memory whenever needed, but always consider context of program and where it lies in the memory. If they persist, please send them here to discuss this matter giving some good reason why they discourage you to do.
BTW: This could be an issue with SAP Memory, but with ABAP no chance.
