Refund app purchase due to wrong version

Hi,
I wrongly purchase iPhone version of Photon browser on my Ipad mini.
I purchase iPad mini version again.
Is there a way to refund the iPhone version that I purchased?

To report an issue with your iTunes Store, App Store, Mac App Store, or iBookstore purchase, follow these steps:
Find the email receipt for your purchase.
Click Report a Problem under the app that is having the issue.
When prompted, enter the Apple ID and password you used to purchase the item, then click Report a Problem.
Click Report a Problem next to the item you are having an issue with.
From the Choose Problem dropdown menu, choose the appropriate issue.
Follow the onscreen instructions and—if prompted—type a description of the problem into the text field.
Click Submit to have your issue reviewed.

    App name is "Bundle for MS Office" which made me to think of 'Microsoft Office bundle'. I could see so many people did like me and don't understand why App store team let them do this on. Obviously I want to get refunded and would like to understand how to do this.

    Apple considers all sales final. It is hard to believe what you say unless you actually buy things that you know nothing about. The first line of the description would alert most people to that fact this isn't a MS Office bundle!
    Ask for a refund, it can't hurt.

  • Version Specific In-App Purchases?

    Is there a way to tie-down In-App purchases to a specific version of your app? I'm aware this could be accomplished with keywords or product id
    now, but in the initial version of my application, I only used the generic CurrentApp.LoadListingInformationAsync() function rather than filtering by product id or keyword.
    So the problem that I have is going forward if I add an In-App purchase, it will show up on the older version of the application that does not have said functionality of the purchase (the user didn't upgrade the app).
    Is there a known way to get around this limitation? Thanks in advance.

    No, if your app iterated through all of the products and exposed everything to the user then there isn't a way to avoid that short of updating the app not to do so.
    As you've figured out, the app should only request purchases that it is aware of and knows what to do with.

    As well as turning off in-app purchases, depending upon what version of iOS that you have on your iPad,you may also have a Require Password setting on the Restrictions screen which you can set to 'Immediately'.

  • My app. not showing on App Store anymore after using In-App purchase

    It's more than a week that my app is not showing in it's category, after Apple released the new version, in the new version I used In-App purchase and both In-App purchase and the new version of the app are approved by Apple but they never showed up in their category since.
    It seems it's happening to the new one which was approved yesterday and is disappeared from it's category under new releases section ( posted date was correct the same day it was approved )
    Does any body else has this issue ?

    Also know as an 'update'...
    Looks like Apple has quietly changed the process where updated apps could be dated the day they were approved (more recent than the original release data) and show up at the top of the recently released apps all over again.
    Updated apps will not appear at the top of the recently released list any longer, it seems.
    If you search on your app by name, etc., it should still be there. If it is gone completely, use one of these email contacts...

    I have an iphone 5S with the latest version of the iOS. My enable in-app purchases is greyed out. How may I change it? I have tried enabling and disabling restrictions and neither allow the in-app purchases selection.

    First, what version of iOS do you have on your iPod touch? You need iOS 3 or iOS 4 for in-app purchases to be available.
    If you have an appropriate version of iOS, go to Settings -> General -> Restrictions. If you can't get it, Restrictions are enabled and In-App Purchases may be set to "Off". You'll need the passcode set by whoever turned on the Restrictions to verify and if necessary change the setting.

    I have contacted the game developer for an issue I have with an in-app purchase.  They have told me to contact iTunes for a refund.  I have been through my purchase history and clicked "report a problem" but all I get is a new browser window directed to the Support - iTunes page.  Where am I going wrong?
