    Dun tink that creative customer support sucks cos I had been dealing with them in the past and I can say that their service are quite gd and fast. If you wanted a refund, I tink you need to contact the store that sells you the product. Dun tink creative will refund you though.

  • TS1702 Auto-Renewal TV Show Cancellation

    Hello.
    I am having trouble cancelling an auto-renewal to a TV show. I am doing this on my windows PC via itunes.
    If there is not a subscriptions tab under Store>Account>Settings>, does this mean that I am no longer subscribed to be auto-renewed for the show? I would go there and select manage to turn off the auto-renewal, but the link is not there for me to do so. I got a charge for the show, it seemed that they charged me twice. I was issued a refund for one of the charges. I didn't receive a notification saying my subscription was cancelled, though. Consequently, I am unsure what is going on.
    If anyone knows how to figure out whether or not I am still subscribed and how to unsubscribe if I am, please let me know.

    Well, if it was a subscription through an app - I can't find one but perhaps such an app is available in another country - you should be able to cancel the automatic renewal via these instructions:

    Hi All, I just need to vent my frustration with this companies policy!! In 2010 I registered for LogMeIn Pro for 10 Computers. The past yesr or so I have hardly touched or logged into LogMeIn so I decided I would cancel the service. I attempted to cancel this service and was advised that I had just "Auto-Renewed" for another 12 months. THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE!!!! I now have to continue to pay on a monthly basis even though I didnt agree to this 12 month renewal. Such a terrible policy put in place and a great way to lose customers. I own an IT consulting company and quite often use to recommend LogMeIn to my clients. I will NEVER make that recommendation again. Has anyone else been caught out by this??? Regards Matt

    I too experienced the auto renewal trick.  My card I used to open a LogMeIn subscription was compromised online and the bank issued me a completely different card with a different number and expiration date. Lo and behold, LogMeIn billed the renewal of the service on the new card which they supposedly had no knowledege of. I had paid for another separate subscription with the new card and LogMeIn apparently searched their system for my name and charged the renewal on the new card. On the invoice it even listed the last four digits of the new card. This practice should be highly illegal. LogMeIn did not send any email notification to the email the account was set up with regarding renewal, credit card issue, etc, they just billed the new card. I just happened to be checking my credit card statement online and called LogMeIn and got a refund because it was the same day that the service was supposed to renew. The rep assured me that LogMeIn does not search their system for any cards in the name of the billing for the service. Really?  I am sure that my bank did not give LogMeIn the information on the newly issued card. I did not give LogMeIn permission to use the newly issued account for any charges. I too will be looking for another vendor for remote access.

    A couple of months ago, there was a dramatic change in my financial circumstances. As a family, we were not prepared for this; we did not have any significant savings and were already struggling with debts.
    Unfortunately, I am struggling to restore my previous level of income and, as such, many bills are going unpaid. Including rent… and Creative Cloud!
    I relied on Adobe CS tools for making a living; and for prospecting for new work. After missing my November payment, my subscription was reverted to 'trial' and now this is about to expire. (I actually had to turn down a job today because I no longer have the software to do it.Wasted money! I could have bought CS6 outright!) I am now in the process of selling my studio equipment to raise funds for software from another publisher. However, I seem to be locked into 'auto-renewing' my CC subscription, against my wishes. There is no option to cancel auto-renewal, without paying for the whole 12 months!
    I have spoken on live-chat and they do not seem able to understand my situation. No help at all.
    I'm looking into buying CS2 from eBay, for the interim, but would like to leave Adobe for good.
    Has anyone had any luck cancelling their auto-renewal before the end of their yearly subscription?

    This was one of my major problems with the subscription model. I guess that in the coming months (years?) we will see a lot more of that. It is sad though that changing situations also cross over in application land. Sadly enough that is how it will go, if you subscribed for a year, you can not get out of it till the year has passed.
    If I were you I would look for other software, maybe GIMP or another application, might not be as good as photoshop, but going back to CS2 is a bad idea I think...

I only noticed the charged when the 50$ apple store gift card redeemed by the new update feature using camera for my MBP a couple days before my call-in support has gone plus an extra charge to my Paypal since i spent a few dollars for others apps from the redeem credits. I was calling the phone numbers for the apple store which was showed in my bank statement for all itunes items purchases. The number indicated Los Angeles but there was a auto machine which send me back to use the online support forms. Also, I was confusing and exhausting to read and continue searching to read one topic after another from both Apple and AdobeRevel website to seek for the right service support for my case, yet I was just going in a circle. So, I did turn off the auto subscription for Adobe revel in the apple store setting, however it never shown in new purchases history for that new subscription charges and the specific App. There were 3 new items purchases in app store account shown in my MBP after I reinstall new 10.8.3 and new updates as instructed from Apple Care and Genius bar personnel from my local authorized Apple Store and 1 item remained hidden still after all after I was able to retrieve the others 2 items. Obviously it was for the Revel premium but I can only guess after the credits was deducted from my app store MBP account and the subscription was made after i updated my Ipad 3 to newest version iOS6.1.3, I did not have sufficient times to prevent or acknowledge the potential charge until it was already taken place, and lost in transition for finding a authentic service authority for supporting refund or reimburse related to my issue.   • Please cancel my auto-renewal

    Basically, it was a good deal when I couldn't afford Photoshop and Lightroom, but now paying $600/year (and rising I assume) for the rest of my life to Adobe doesn't sound very viable either. I love Adobe products but unfortunately I'll have to jump ship and I want to cancel my auto-renewal once my subscription expires January 1, 2014.
    Only problem is that there's no option to cancel the auto-renewal and the service reps arn't allowed to cancel the renewal for you! It's quite shocking there's no option to cancel my auto-renewal. It's clear what the intentions are.
    My service rep told me I can cancel only AFTER the subscription renews, and I hope you can see why that's worrysome. I don't want to call up January 2, 2014 and ask you guys to cancel my auto-renewal, only to be told that my year-long subscribtion already started and that I was stuck in another year, and if I wanted to cancel I'd have to pay those monthly fees.
    More disconcertingly, my service rep told me incorrect information. Here's how the conversation went:
    Him: You can cancel anytime January or February.
    Me: Really? But if i cancel Feb I'll already be two months into another yearlong subscription!
    Him: That's okay, Adobe offers a free 30 day trial.
    Me: Okay... but even so February would be after that period.
    Him: Okay hold please.
             So you can cancel the day the new subscription starts.
    Me: Okay...
    I hope you can see how suspicious all this sounds. Please cancel my auto-renew. I don't trust to canceling my subscription AFTER my new one starts (like i was told to) and expect to not get fined.
    Please don't post a link to some adobe support page telling me about auto-renew. I already read people's responses to that on other threads.

    You can cancel an annual membership 30 days before or after your annual renewal date without any penalty.
