Form routine for sales order adobe forms

Hi Friends,
I have a requirement to create z adobe forms for sales order for customized output type.
When i checked, there is no form routine designed for calling the adobe forms.
So, i am planning to copy the standard print program which is available for script and smartforms and creating a z form routine to include the function modules for calling the adobe form.
Can any one please let me know whether have you worked in any of the same kind of situations and my apporach is ok or anything else can be done.

Plz check your caller program for the same and just find out the output type. for that purpose use the Tcode: NACE for finding the output type than proceed accordingly.

Urgent !!! - Java script help for events in adobe form

We have requirement where we have 5 buttons on interactive form which will retrive data from R/3 system .
1) How can i distingish the event of each button ?
For Ex : We have 5 buttons namely , GetPlantcode , GetStatus, SubmittpSAP etc..
We hav only 2 events on adobe form - Submit to SAP and SAPCheckFields.
Please let me know some alternative by which i can sent some variable to webDynpro which distinguishes them.
2) How to set a value for the context variable on button click event ?
Ex : I have a context node ( data node ) bind to adobe interactive adobe component on a webDynpro application. If i want to set Selectindicator ( value attribute in data Node ) a value on a button click , Please let me know the java script how i can do this.

Hi ,
We found one work around for this. It seems to solve our issue for now.
Set a text field on adobe and try to set it with some value in each button click. We can get retrived that value in webdypro application through context bind value node to text field.
Using the value in the value node we have applied different logic in same event submit to SAP.

Dropdown box for SAP provided Adobe Form is not populating

Hi experts,
I am new to Adobe Interactive Forms. Right now we are using Standard Adobe form for the (PCR) Special Payment. But the drop down box for 'Reason for spl. Payment' is not getting populated. We have defined Reason for special payments in IMG. Also the form 'ISR_FORM_SPSP' has been converted to 'ZCI' format.
Can you please let me know is there anything else I have to configure?

Thank you for the reply. As I said I am using the Standard Adobe form provided by SAP (Special Payment) 'ISR_FORM_SPSP'. On another note ..I am also using the form for Changing working time 'ISR_FORM_SPWT' where the dropdown box for the 'new working time' is getting populated properly. I am new to Interactive Adobe Form so I really don't know where I can find the backend code for this form.
When I go to trasaction 'SFP' I could only see form and the interface being used. Is there a specific BADI that I need to look in? Where can I find the script for the Dropdown UI element.

Printing Issue for Labels in Adobe forms

Hi,
I have created a form for Label printing using Adobe Forms. Label size is 6.4 X 4.3 inches..The print preview is fine, even when i take the printout, the entire label can be seen. However onsite when the client is using his Label Printer, it is printing only the below half of the Label, i.e. Only Half the Label is being printed, that too below part.
Could someone guide me as to what can be wrong.

I too am facing the same problem. The print preview looks fin but when the client is using with his Zebra Label printer, it is eating out top 7 lines of the data and thus printing remaining data on the top half of the Label.

Authorization check for an offline Adobe form

Hi folks,
Quick ques - Is there a way I can validate whether a user has the authorization to enter data on an offline Adobe form ?
The form is going to be generated and sent to users. So when the user is ready is to fill data, there is no connection to SAP.
Any ideas?

Hi Liz,
Password encrypted forms are not supported by SAP but you can try with other options like putting inputs fields for user and validating them but that would not be an encrypted one.
Password Encrypted Forms are supported from the Adobe LiveCycle ES versions 8.2 and it is a standalone tool and not supported by SAP.

Aaaaah, my mistake, sorry for that. Of course you should use the XML interface and I forgot it is not described in this tutorial. You can easily find another one where the XML based interface is used. But... you won´t need any tutorial. just create a WD context. Place a Interactive form element on your WD app screen, in the attributes you need to maintain the form template name. If you write a name suitable for you which no existing forms uses, the system will offer you to generate a XML based interface and right after that it will "send" you to the SFP transaction. That means you can like skipi the step defining the interface because it it is generated automatically and you only draw the layout for this generated interface.
You should use XMl based interface for your WD app, because when using the ABAP dic based, some features are not available (I am not sure, but ABAP based works only for print form or something).

I need to show an Adobe Form (building in R3), in the role of Employee Self-Service of SAP EP. I read that this is possible building an Scenario, but i don´t have very clear the steps.
This are te steps that i made:
1) I create a scenario with de ISR Wizard, and i tested it and works ok.
2) I made an iview of the Web Dynpro Application sap.com/pcui_gp~isr with de application parameters
SCENARIO=ZZZZ&MODE=DISPLAY&sap.wdarfc.useSys=WD_EMPLOYEE_MODELDATA_DEST:PL7&sap.wdarfc.useSys=WD_EMPLOYEE_RFC_METADATA_DEST:PL7
3) I made a Delta Link of this Iview to the role of ESS.
I test, and i don´t show anything.
Is there something bad ?

Hi Shan Tats27, you are talking to BT customers here not BT.
You say you have not used the service, but you have for two weeks. To cancel your whole package as you say (TV, Broadband and Phone) means you are liable to pay very high cancellation charges. Sending the equipment back does not exonerate you from those charges.
Only BT can do that .
If I was you, I would contact the forum mods and I would do it in a conciliatory tone and see what can be arranged, but I seriously doubt that all charges are going to be waived.

Webdynpro for ABAP - interactive Adobe form - drop down lists not working

I'm trying to create an interactive form for a client using webdynpro for ABAP and I've viewed the demo "Create SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe with Web Dynpro for ABAP" by Thomas Jung, but when I implement it the form following similar steps the form is not interactive.
In the properties of the "InterativeForm", I've tried clicking the "enabled" flag both on and off. I've also tried setting the "displayType" property to both "ActiveX" and "Native". But none of this worked.
I though my problem might be with Adobe reader so I switched from 8.0 back to 7.0 but this didn't make any difference either.
The system we are using is NW04s WAS 700. Any hints would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the suggestion Dezso. I've downloaded a newer version of ACF as indicated by the OSS note and installed it. I'm still having the same issue.
My basic question is what options should I be using in the form and on the InteractiveForm component? It looks like because of the evolution of the product there are multiple options available. I recall reading somewhere that as of a certain SP level we should have ZCI (zero client install) available. The would be our preference. It will be a support nightmare if each user needed a manual download of ACF.exe installed.
Should I click the "enabled" flag on the InteractiveForm object? When I create the form should I use the "Native" drop down list or the one from the "Active X" tab? I would like to use the "List Box" control on the form as well but it is only available in the "Standard" tab. So does that mean I can't get the selections from a "List Box"?

Clear Signature "greyed out" for signer of Adobe form.

A user who signed a form that I created using Adobe Pro is unable to clear the signature. When she right clicks, 'Clear Signature" is not appearing in the popup that should appear when right clicked. She is the signer of the form, so I am perplexed by whey the signature cannot be cleared. We need to clear it, so the data on it can be updated, and the form can be re-signed. Can anyone tell me what the causes may be for the "Clear Signature" selection (when right clicking the signature box) to NOT be enabled for a signer and how I might fix this problem? This is form that users need to be able to update and resign each month.

I am not certain, as I am not very familiar with digital signatures and certificates. She mentioned that (in addition to not seeing "clear signature"), she sees a message about unknown validity. What should I tell her to do to open a digital signature certificate or how can she do this? Thank you for your assistance, by the way.

How do I receive a refund after cancelling my adobe membership?

I Just cancelled my membership. I was billed Sept. 12, posted Sept. 16. The website has informed me a full refund is available within 30 days of purchase, and to obtain this, I need to go through customer support. I am trying to do so and am incredibly frustrated that it keeps linking me back to forums, or to the same customer support page. What do I do?

I have created a web-dynpro component which will display the different Interactive form at runtime depending on the data passed from the host application.
Following is the process I have done for the same:
1. Create a node and attributes at runtime with the data from the source node from host application.(using node and node_info class).
2. Passing the data is a problem since it gives dump(invalid operand)
