Refund in-app purchase.

A while ago I tried making a one-time in-app purchase. Since it kept on giving me an error saying 'purchase cannot be completed', I deleted the app. Yesterday I reinstalled it, and to my shocking surprise it suddenly purchased all my previous attempts to buy the in-app purchase! I never asked for this, I simpely tried again after a failed purchase that specifically said that the purchase wasn't completed yet, and now I'm stuck with a big bill. How do I get this refunded?

You can contact iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

We are not psychic... You don't tell us what country's store you are using or even what the app is...
Go to the App store in iTunes. Find the page for the app, and click the link for the developers web site.

How CAN i get a refund after i purchase an app i do Not like?

iTunes Customer Service Contact - http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact.html > Get iTunes support via Express Lane > iTunes > iTunes Store - Apple states all sales are final, but you can always ask nicely.

  • HT4009 How to get of Refund In app purchase made in error

My 6 year old son somehow managed to download £8.17 of in app purchases on sonic dash today!!
how do I get a refund for these??
    thanks
    chris

Purchases are considered final, but you can try the 'report a problem' link to contact iTunes Support and see if they will refund or credit you : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes Support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
To try and stop it happening again you can turn off in-app purchases on your iPad via Settings > General > Restrictions, and you can require your password to be entered for every download.

  • How to refund in app purchase?

I want to cancel in app purchase (diamond dash's gold in facebook game), how can i do? please advise.
    Thanks.

    Hi..
You can turn off In-App subscriptions > iTunes Store: Purchasing and managing auto-renewing subscriptions
But as far as a refund goes, Apple's policy states that, "all sales are final" > iTUNES STORE - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • HT4009 I can't seem to find a place to request a refund for app purchased from the iTunes store.  Can anyone help?

I downloaded an app and tried to make an in-app purchase.  When I did so, the app said it could not finish the transaction, but it didn't say why.  However, I got a statement from iTunes and see that I have been charged for the in-app purchase for the service, even though the app itself still says I have not subscribed.  Does anyone know how I get a refund?
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

Thanks!  I'll try it.  I didn't know you could just contact support.

  • HT4009 refund in app purchase

How can I request a refund for an in app purchase?  My son hit the "buy" button for a $100 purchase rather than the "cancel" button.
I am baffled as to why it did not ask him for a password.  A free app requires a password, yet a $100 purchase does not?????
    Please advise.

First, to prevent this from happening again, turn off "In App purchases" in the Restrictions settings on your iPad. You may also want to turn off the ability to install apps, to prevent purchases in case the child gets hold of your iTunes Store account information, and set the password to be required immediately. For more information, see:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4213
As to a refund, that's not automatic since the terms of sale for the iTunes Store state that all sales are final. You can contact the iTunes Store, explain the reason for your request, and ask, though:
    http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact.html
They're usually pretty lenient in the case of inadvertent purchases by children. No guarantees, though, just as if your child was in a store and ate a bunch of food (in other words, something that can't just be returned).
    Good luck.

  • HT204088 How to Receive a credit refund for app purchase

I need to know who can I contact to receive a credit refund for an app purchased on my daughter's iPad.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Apple's policy on sales of digital content is that all sales are final. If however you wish to appeal to Apple, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History on your computer.
Currently, if your purchase happens to be your most recent purchase you will not be redirected to the report form, in this case use the report a problem option from the invoice that was emailed to you.

  • HT1933 Who do we contact regarding refunding in app purchases?

After reading throughout the day about the refunding of in app purchases made by my kids, I'm wondering who I get ahold of to start the ball rolling. My kids play Smurf Village and Dragonvale, along with that Charlie Brown app also. All of which have cost me a pretty penny because of the 15 minute window. I've always just lectured strictly and told them not to do it again. Kids will be kids.

As to requesting a refund, go here:
    http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/
and follow the instructions to contact the iTunes Store and make your request.
    Regards.

  • GET REFUND ON APP PURCHASE

Purchased  app in error. How do I get a refund?

You probably cannot get a refund, since the terms of sale for the iTunes Store state that all sales are final. You can contact the iTunes Store, explain the reason for your request, and ask, though:
    http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact.html
It's possible they'll make an exception for you.
    Good luck.

  • Refund for app purchase

How do you request a refund of a non working app?

To be more clear, the app is a fake, it does not do what it was advertised to do. Also it was per loaded with hundreds of fake reviews earlier today to hide the reviews that stated it did not work. I was unable to see them on my phone,as it just showed the current reviews. After I saw it was not looking I looked in the iTunes app store, and discovered all of the bad reviews, and now more reviewers like myself stating it does not work.
I have submitted a request for refund, I finally found a link for that.

  • HT4009 Refund in app purchase - TomTom

The TomTom app screwed me over and charged me 4 times for HD Traffic within the space of 2 days. What a joke.
The biggest joke is clicking 'Report a problem' in itunes and through email and all Apple gives you is a general standard communities page. What a waste of time and just shows how much care Apple have with sorting problems out.
Searching refund on Apples website also returns ZERO back. Funny that.
Does anyone know if I should contact Apple or TomTom. No where in itunes does TomTom have a "report a problem" button, funny that!

I have exactly the same issue.  I was billed 4 times for the traffic update.  I have complained on the tomtom forum and they have admitted it was a problem with the app but they would try to contact apple to get them to issue refunds.  that was a week ago and no update since.  I think it's really incredible that companies like Apple and TomTom can't just issue a refund quickly when it is blatantly an error on their part.  At the very least there should be a daily uodate on progress and not just hoping we go away and accept it
link to TomTom forum discussing this is below:
