Refund purchase music video

Whoops....i've just accidentally purchased a wrong Music Video. It was only when I watched it in full that I realised it was the wrong one. It was only cheap but rather than just deleting it, is there any way I can "return it" and get credited with my money back?

There are no refunds.

  • Purchased music videos completely white PLEASE HELP!

I purchased quite a few music videos from the iTunes Store and since i upgraded about 6 months ago (this is the first chance I've had to look into it!) I've had so many problems with iTunes.
Every time I try to watch a purchase music video- all I can see is a white screen with a yellowish outline of objects in the video. The sound is kinda alright, a bit crackly, but still unacceptable considering the videos are $3.69 each!
Can someone please help me out? Or just tell how I can re-download these videos for free?
    THANK YOU!

  • Apple TV - How to purchase Music Videos on ATV?

I see that I can rent movies and TV shows but don't see how you can purchase Music Videos on Apple TV ...... do I have to purchase them first in Itunes on the computer then watch it on Apple TV?   I have the new Apple TV device (the small black hockey puck)
(Also Are the music videos HD sold in Itunes Store?)

Yes, it's crazy - AppleTV 1 was an ideal vehicle for browsing music videos (even if you bought them in itunes), it makes no sense that they'd leave this out on teh new model.
Send feedback - i would like this restored too:
    http://www.apple.com/feedback/appletv.html
The SD/HD weirdness is all down to the media companies and their licensing - I'm sure Apple would love to offer all combinations but they can't.  I'm more frustrated on a slow broaqdband connection that many titles can be rented in HD on AppleTV but not in itunes with a view to AppleTV playback.
I also assume for rentals you are aware AppleTV 2 only shows either HD or SD depending on your selection in Settings whereas ATV1 offered either if available with no fiddling in Settings.
I found a couple of movies for the kids in HD the other day in iTunes, and was going to buy them - we already have SD versions on DVD - then just like that they'd gone and only available in SD again.  Crazy. Saved me a few pounds.

  • ITunes crashes when I try and play a purchased music video

This is a new problem and appeared out of the blue. Any suggestions how to fix?

I'm having a similar problem (see thread below) - my purchased music videos used to play until I tried to move my library from my old PC to my new Mac. The restore kept failing as soon as a video file (.m4v) was encountered. Had to manually import blocks of music and avoid the videos. Now have my music again but iTunes just crashes when I try to play the music vids I bought from iTunes.

  • Why isn't purchased music video (one of several) not appearing on my AppleTV

I recently bought a dozen music videos related to a tv show. All but one has appeared on my Apple TV music video list. Doing a search in music on my AppleTV I still find it listed for sale and not purchased even though I purchased it a long while back. How can I get the Apple TV to clue in and recognize ALL the music videos I have purchased?

I'd contact iTunes Store and see what the issue is.
I have items that I've purchased, do not show as such in iTunes on a computer but are available to re-download via iTunes Purchased quicklink.
When items 'change' in the store - they may get a price cut, different product code or something on Apple's servers they can be treated as different products.
Query with the Store - if nothing else they might offer a credit so you can replace the old item with one that shows up.
I've also in the past got caught out by poor quality video episodes that I've complained about and had refunds on - so for example one bad episode in a Season got refunded but was then not available in the cloud.

  • ITunes Purchased Music/Videos Not Playing On iPod

    Hi All..
Long time reader, first time 'post-er'..
I have a problem that is starting to annoy me.. All my purchased music and videos from iTunes will play in iTunes and transfer to the ipod, but when I go into play these from the iPod.. It starts to play (on videos the black screen comes up) then just jumps back to the menu.
My videos that I have converted from DVD are perfect, and songs I have imported are also perfect.. Its just everything from iTunes wont play on my iPod.. But I obviously cant convert my iTunes videos because they are protected.. To get my purchased music on my iPod I need to burn and import.. Annoying isnt it?!
Anyone have any ideas??? Would be very much appreciated!!

  • With purchased music videos they will not play, an error comes up"The requested URP was not fopund on thsi server", and video doesn't play?

I ahve purchased 5 music vidoes from iTunes and they will not play on my iPhone4. The error message that appears is:
"The requested URL was not fopund on this server"
I am not sure how to fix this so I can watch my videos?

It all depends on exactly how you move the library from one machine to the other. The database holding information about your library is normally in a folder called iTunes, with the media in a subfolder called iTunes Media. In this layout you can usually copy the entire iTunes folder from one machine to the other and it will work. If the media folder is split to a new location however then often the links to tracks will fail on a new computer.
You shoud find that the FindTracks script is able to repair the links in your library.
I'm not sure I know what is going on with the purchased music, however if you enable Edit > Preferences > Store > Automatic Downloads > Music you should be able to recover your past store purchases.

  • 10.5 iTunes IOS5= iT won't add Purchased, music videos, more duplicates from 8200 to over 12945, i think 80% more than i had before, freeze, purchased items from iTunes should be downloaded again from purchased page in the Store, so reinstalling All my Ap

    Hi,
After installing iOS5 on iTunes and iPhone, everything went almost smoothly, except activation, which i finally fixed it.
The issues i am now experiencing are for the most after iOS5 and iTunes 10.5
No direct connection to Wifi Spot at HOME, ( i don't have a Carrier contract) I have to be really 2 metres near the router to connect, but not with iPad which i didn't update to OS5 yet, My Library problem is everyday i have to upload all my music from my computer, from nearly 2000 songs to really 12945 now!!! most of them duplicates, duplicates!!! Enormous , songs, music videos, and movies, all duplicated !!!
I bought a software for fixing this problem, but unfortunately not working at all.I stop this way and buy no more softwares.
I don't really see most of my Apps in iTunes Store=purchased, even though i have to download them everyday, i mean right now 93 are being on download platform, and tomorrow morning, i am not sure to have the 90 Apps on my Library, that in total should be near 600 or more than that.So my kid will ask for one game to play, and i will really have a hard time to find it(iPhone freezes when looking for App Store+update+ Purchased then ALL or Not in the iPhone, it freezes excessively, and when you got one app and push download then you go to iPhone 3, 4 or 5 th page, then rolling back to App Store etc,,,,
Something is wrong, but i don't know it comes from.
Back in 2002/3 first i bought the second generation of iPod, i never saw a duplicate song or file, but now it is different. It becomes sort of a challenge to open your iTunes on your Laptop, and you figure out that your Library is Empty, you have to look for Folders, and no Purchased icon under iTunes Store, No Music Videos either!!!
Somebody has to sort this out Hopefully
    Best Regards

I've written a script called DeDuper which can help remove unwanted duplicates. See this  thread for background.
What brand of PC do you have? Sony VIAO is notoriuous for having some software which corrupts the iTunes library.
If you are routinely generating more and more duplicates in your library then you are adding media in the wrong way. Simply scanning the entire media folder over & over again is a likely cause of problems, particularly if this is a different folder from the one currently set as the iTunes Media folder. Use a tool like iTunes Folder Watch which can scan your media folders, add new files and remove missing ones.

Any iTunes content that is downloaded by your iPhone including 3rd party apps should be transferred to your iTunes library on your computer the first time you sync your iPhone with iTunes on your computer after doing so. All iTunes content on your iPhone should be in your iTunes library on your computer.

  • Low audio levels on itunes purchased music video's

Can anyone tell me how to boost the audio levels on purchased itunes music video's ?
I have purchased a few videos lately from the itunes music store and occasionally I find the odd one which has very low audio levels. I assume that itunes has not monitored some video/audio files closely enough when importing them into the in tunes system itself and the audio levels have fallen a little low on certain tracks. Have a look at some of the Eurythmics songs - 'Angel', 'Missionary Man', or 'Best of You' by the Foo Fighters for example.I have boosted these tracks by 100% within the in itunes track options, but its still a very low level compared to some of the other tracks I have downloaded.
I tried to import one of these video files to Mpeg Stream Clip to see if I could use the audio boost function within that program but it didn't like the video file ? I presume because it was an itunes purchased video, therefore a protected file.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this or what setting I should be using, doing with Mpeg Streamclip to fix this problame if this program can fix this issue ?

  • How do I convert purchased music videos and television shows into my Itunes liabrary and sync it onto my ipod?

I recently purchased a music video and a television show episode off of Itunes. It was in my liabrary until I plugged in my Ipod nano 4th generation for it to sync. As my ipod is syncing the music video and tv show episode were'nt in my liabrary and they didn't sync onto my ipod. Yet when I log into my itunes store account the purchsed content is there. How do I get the music video and tv episode into my itunes library and onto my ipod?

My guess (and it is just a guess) is that what you are trying to do is no different than recording a TV programme to a VCR then watching it at a time of your convenience, probably the main reason why people have purchased VCRs, PVRs and the like.
However, with commercially produced DVDs, there is an encryption built in to prevent copying, and it the discussion of how to overcome this encryption that Apple will not permit on their forums.

  • Disc Error when downloading purchased music videos

    Hi there,
I'm using the latest iTunes and have purchased 3 music videos. When I try to download them, I gett an error saying:
"There was an error download your purchased music. The disc could not be read from or written to"
Strange thing is, the disc is fine (an external Maxtor network drive), I can download normal music files (I've done this successfully since getting this message) so I'm stumped.
I've sent a mail to iTunes support, but I thought I'd see if anyone else has had this problem and can recommend a fix.
    Cheers,
    Pete

    Hello Peter,
Check out the suggestions in this Apple Support article below:
"Disk could not be read from or written to"
Also, if your videos were only partially downloaded and you'd like to retrieve them, then you can go to "Advanced> check for purchases..." in iTunes, and see if that works.
    I hope this helps!
