Reg. ARTMAS segment filter

Hi friends
Any one tell me, i made some segments filter to ARTMAS in BD56. Is it effect to Other users who works on ARTMAS?. If yes what is the another way?

Hi
It will affect only the IDocs which go to the mentioned receiver in BD56.
For other Receivers, Your Idoc will be the same as of standard.

Segmentation filter without description in PC_UI

Hello.
When I am creating a filter in my segment builder in SAP GUI for attributes of BW infoset data sources, the system displays me the code and the description of the attribute.
But if I am trying to do the same in PC-UI I just can see the code of the attribute value, not the description.
Anybody knows how can I solve this problem?

IDoc ARTMAS Segment E1BPE1MARARTX

Hi,
IDoc ARTMAS has segment E1BPE1MARARTX
This segment is for Create and change material master data for each field.
Each field can have as per SAP
'X' Update for the field
'' No update for the field
But I see that even I do not change any field still Idoc created by setting field in this segment
as 'X'.
For Example If I create Idoc for ARTMAS without any change on arricle , it creates Idoc where
E1BPE1MARARTX- BASE_UOM = 'X' intead of blank.
Please helpm me why it happens and then whast purpose of this segment.

Yes, it is possible to send each Variant separately. Actually in our environment we have the Variants coming at different times, based on the season. Like for a Style during Spring we have Yellow and Green, during holidays we do Red. So we generate different Variants at different times. Just remember to provide correct information in the segments, like <Segment>-FUNCTION field (Create / change). First time Style should have '005' and later it can have '009'.
But should be like below
IDOC1 for the generic article (with E1BPE1VARKEY segment)(New)
IDOC1 for variant 1 (with E1BPE1AUSPRT segment)(New)
IDOC2 for the generic article (with E1BPE1VARKEY segment) (change)
IDOC2 for variant 2 (with E1BPE1AUSPRT segment)(New)
IDOC3 for the generic article (with E1BPE1VARKEY segment) (change)
IDOC3 for variant 3 (with E1BPE1AUSPRT segment)(New)
Also if the client has too many variants the size of the idoc could be huge as you know ARTMAS idoc has complete information for an article.

hello guys,
I have got an issue in IDOC.
The idoc has a missing segment E1EDP01.
Flow is SAP to EAI to VENDOR.
I wnt to know why idoc is triggered without this segment E1EDP01.

How is this IDOC created? own programm?

Reg. writing Connection Filter Rules

I have a setup with Apache and WL (clustered) environment working through the Apache Plugin.
My requirement is that the application url should point to the apache server and all other urls (managed servers) should be blocked.(I can currently hit the managed servers directly bypassing apache)
Is this blocking possible by using the connection filter rules?

solution for this.
1. Open config.xml
2. Search for <connection-filter> tag
3. Verify if it has no value.
4. Delete the tags (<connection-filter></connection-filter>)
5. Start the server

do you have experience to build target group with the assignment of Employee to the organizational model?
We want to build target groups to group employees which are assigned to a specific departmnent.
We thougth the best is to use the orgnaizational model with the table HRP1000 and joint it with BUT000 and create a InfoSet, we failed till now.
However, maybe someone of you had experience to use Teritory Management and if we can instead use this function to archive the same results?

in BIEE 10.1.3.3.1 Marketing Tool we are having problems creating a segment.
We need the possibility to create a segment filter that contains for example the sum of two different columns ( Num SMS 1 month ago + Num SMS 2 months ago > 100).
In the "Edit Column Formula Window" the user would like to add the columns from the left panel (like it is suggested in the edit column formula) but this seems to not work, instead when a column is selected a new "Create/Edit Filter" window pops up, therefore the selected column is not inserted in the "Edit Column Formula". We have also tried selecting the "Columns" button but no columns appear ("None").
We have a work around to this but we can only do it by editing the column formula and adding manually the 2nd column and this is not very user-friendly.
Does anybody have any suggestions?

Vendor master IDOC segment population ?

Hi All,
I have to create vendor master idoc and pass it to a third party system.
The fields required by the third party system are from tables lfa1 , lfb1,lfm1. The data required is mapped to segments in idoc
I am using the MASTERIDOC_CREATE_CREMAS FM to generate the idoc.(idoc tyoe :cremas04)
The idoc is created and generated but I can see only the E1LFA1M segment populated with data. No other segments are getting populated , Can anyone tell me why is that so and how it can be solved.

Please check CREMAS message type, perhaps there is reduced message type or segment filter. Go to transaction code BD53 or BD56 to find out.

How do you add results columns in Segmentation Wizard?

Every time we do Segmentation Wizard we get the same fields - First, Last, Email, Phone, Address. We would like to add Title and Owner to the list. Thank you.

To the best of my knowledge you can't, but why would you? If you only want contacts owned by a specific user, add that to the segmentation filter. Same with title.

IDOC INVOIC02 in outbound - segment E1EDP05

I'm making some test with the IDOC INVOIC02, i try to generate a invoice idoc for from another SAP system for generate SD invoice with the GN_INVOICE_CREATE.
I view that the idoc created dont generate the segment E1EDP05 with the pricing procedure conditions (necessary for a mirror creation of invoice on the destionation SAP).
Anyone knows why the segment is lost?

Generally we will check any segment filter in BD56 transaction.

How to filter change pointer in ALE

hi,
i am using message type DEBCOR for transferting customers from client A to B with ALE.
and i am using the 'change pointer' to transfer changed/added customers.
BUT: how can i tell the system that only changes for customers with a specific number range (1000-1999) should
trigger an idoc ? now EVERY change is triggered, i don't want that !

You can filter change pointers using BADI 'BDCP_BEFORE_WRITE'.
