Hi all,
when i login the SBO other than the manager and Super user , i couldn't change the price in AP Invoice . If i login thru manager login , it is possibel.. IF thru other than the manager i can't..
SO pl help me to set the authorisation..
i have given the full authorisation for Goods receipt thru PO and AP invoice also..

Reg.Authorisation for Production Order

Hi all,
Please tell me that whether Authorisation can be set for Production order Releasing or not.
My requirement is One person will generate Production But he is not authorised to release it.
The Other Person who is senior to him is the only person who is authorised to release the Prod.Order.That is once the Prod. order is generated & saved ultimately a message should reach the senior person with the details of prod. order for him to release.
How to do it.

You can use user exit PPCO0007 to serve your purpose.
Regarding the info to reach the senior person, you can talk to your Basis consultant to have the required settings, when any new order is created, it will be informed via mail to the senior person.

Iu2019m going to try help you regarding your question,
The authorization perspective of 3.X is focused in the authorization object, thatu2019s means that each user needs a group of authorization object to use the BW system, they are grouped in roles. Each authorization object have a specific function, it is to control object access and data access. The control access is defined for each component of BW as InfoObject, InfoProvider, InfoCube, DSO, OHD, Query, BEx Analyzer, BEx application designer, Enterprise Portal, ect. The other is data control access is defined for a set of characteristics relevant of authorization, created in the tcode RSSM where you set up an authorization object.
The main difference of version 3.X between 7.X is the set up data access. The tcode RSSM was obsoleted and they have released the new tcode RSECADMIN where you can handling whole authorization system, in these tcode you can access to analysis authorization maintence (new concept), instead of reporting authorization object.
In summary, the strong chancing in the BI 7.0 has been in the data access authorization, with the new concept analysis authorization.
Other hand, regarding object access there are a some new functionality as portal, open hub destination that are incorporated new authorization object.

a. Check the authorization objects defined for individual material master functions in the standard system, and create or change authorizations for these objects
b. Check the authorization profiles defined in the standard system, and create new ones as required

In the standard system, authorizations are defined for all authorization objects in the material master. In the standard system, the authorization profile containing all maintenance authorizations for the material master is M_MATE_ALL. The authorizations in this profile allow data to be maintained and displayed for all organization units.
In this step, you can create roles and use the profile generator to generate authorization profiles.

1) S_RS_AUTH: 0BI_ALL
2) S_RS_COMP
3) S_RS_COMP1
4) S_RS_ERPT
5) S_RS_FOLD = F
6) S_RS_PARAM
Also I would suggest you to activate trace on your user through 'ST01', logs will show clearly which auth objects are being touched. At most of the times SU53 is not helpful...atleast for me in BI 7.0
We are using BI 7.0 and users faced similar auth issue like you, I figured out few more auth objects on ST01 trace:
S_RS_HIER
S_RS_MPRO
S_RS_ODSO
S_RS_RSTT
S_RS_TOOLS
While assigning these auth objects I would say you need to be cautious on narrowing down field level....our BA's did negative testing did not see any harm.

Can I have more than one authorisation on one Macbook?

Trying to figure out how to amalgamate two ageing laptops' content...
I've read loads on how to get the two libraries (my wife's and mine) onto a new MBP, but I guess I'm still a bit scared that I'll find when I try to authorise it to play music from my old library, it'll be fine, but when I try to authorise it to play something from hers, it'll say I'm unable to change the authorisation for 90 days.
Is it a case of turning off Match and Auto downloads for both of us on our old laptops & devices, then cracking on?
Also- My wife backs up to iCloud, and my Match has just been turned off on my phone and iPad- I'm hoping we can both play our music and sync devices... otherwise my phone is also backed up to iCloud too- will we both able to do this with the one MBP, or will we run into issues?
Bearing in mind we could have bought two new Windows laptops and everything else we needed to maintain the current set-up for a little over half what we've now spent, and I've entered into a phone contract with far more data it's understandable why I'm in the doghouse. Apple products remain in their packaging until I can find out whether we have messed up royally and need to return them under the distance selling regs in favour of two ordinary laptops. We really shouldn't need two laptops just because of this, that would be ridiculous.

An iPhone can handle only one cellular service provider line at one time.
You can add other lines, but they will not be from your cellular service provider and in general use your cellular data allowance (or wifi).

Reg: LDB& Selection screen

I have a question reg. selection screen associated with LDB. Iam developing a LDB for Hedge where there are nodes which have the same selection opt but
they are disjunct. But in LDB static slection screen , we associate Sel Opt with
a node and it would appear only for that node. In my case , i have two nodes for the same Sel Opt. How can i resolve this issue ? Kindly help.

Functions for displaying and changing logical databases:

Interaction between database program and report:
During program processing, subroutines are performed in the database program and events are executed in the report.
To read data from a database tables we use logical database.
A logical database provides read-only access to a group of related tables to an ABAP/4 program.
advantages:-
The programmer need not worry about the primary key for each table.Because Logical database knows how the different tables relate to each other,and can issue the SELECT command with proper where clause to retrieve the data.

DP-Planning Book - Authorisation issue

All,
1. we have currently installed SCM7.0
2. We are builiding the roles and authorisaiton.
3. We have given authorisaiton to the transaction code /SAPAPO/SDP94 - Interactive Demand Planning and also
   /SAPAPO/SDP94 - Interactive Supply Network Planning (all Books) .
4. But the user is not able to open the selectino profile and the below error is getting displayed
"You are not authorized to use the selected function

5. Any clue what is the exact object we need to give the authorisation.

Hi Peers!
Is there any report were i can authorise the payments to which vendor and which invoice i can pay today like that.
Ex: Say my higher authority wants to select the open items vendor wise to pay the due. so that i will check that invoices and pay through outgoing payment.

There are so many age wise analysis reports are there for analysing the customers or vendors open items. out of those, F.41 for vendor open items there you can find all the relevant data including business area level also satisfied because in some cases higher management wants the particular business area wise required for analysis. similarly f.21 for customers.
I hope it will be suffice your requirement.

I'm a bit new to this discussion group thing although I've been using Macintosh computers for many years (showing my age).
I handed my MacBook Pro to be repaired at an authorised apple service centre. When I handed it in they said they needed to keep hold of it to run some diagnostics and requested my password. I've owned various models of mac for the the past 17 years and this is the first hardware problem I have encountered, hence I have never bothered to set up user accounts.
As I live in quite a remote part of Sweden I am paranoid that some untrusted technician is going to make a copy of my music (11,000 tracks) or share some of my personal information (scanned copies of my birth certificate, passport, certificates, photos, etc.) on the web. Is there a way of finding out what activity has taken place whilst they've had it in their possession?
I appreciate any advice you guys can offer.

PS: I've already thought about the 'recently opened' menu and The machine in question is a MacBook Pro 17" (2011) running OS X 10.6.8 (need Rosetta).

If you put your info into the computer and hand it to another, you have to assume they will copy everything.
Why are you putting scanned copies of valuable identity information into a computer than can be hacked, stolen, lost or compromised by a dirty tech?

No. The tech would just deny it if he did, or tell the truth which the answer would be "NO" in either case.
The employer won't ask that sort of questions without solid proof, less they make a enemy of the employee and/or risk being sued for defamation of character.
It's not like they bother to have a team of people watching over his shoulder that he doesn't stick a USB thumb drive of your data into his pocket to take home.

If it's iTunes music, it has your personal ID embedded into the song files. Most IT techs know this though.

Too late now, all you can do is not worry about it.
Take your personal info out of the machine and if you need it, burn cd/dvd copies, a few USB thumb drives, Iron Keys or self encrypting external storage drives with key and/or keypad.

HR Authorisation Management for different companies in the same client

Hi,
Could anyone please help in this....
My client has two companies. They want to restrict the authorisation to both the companies so that no one can see each other companies data and at the same time access tha data.
For Eg, there are two payroll officers, each in both the companies, If i give authorisation to run Payroll driver(PC00_M40_CALC), anyone of them can run payroll for any of the companies. (though,their Payroll area is different). There are many restrictions to be maintained like Maintance of Master data, Maintanance of OM structure as assignement of position, running Payroll, viewing the payslip etc...
How can this all be restricted so that, the respective companies can view and access their own data without interfering in to the other company.
I could only find object P_PYEVRUN which helps me restrict to view the created documents of posting for other company code.
Can anyone put light on how i should proceed further... I heard we can restrict HR master data, but what all i know is we can restrict at infotype level. My problem is, two persons should access PA30(each from different companies), but should not be able to edit other companies data.

If you are creating the another company undar the same client . then you can not use different no. range.
or if you are going different client for different compnay code then you can use different number range for material master.
