Hi ,
I enhanced component BT126H_APPT and I created New custom view .
i am not getting view name in to runtime time repository . window and overview page config.
I am getting message u201CView ZBT126H_APPT/ICtask is not defined in the runtime repository that was loadedu201D
Can anybody please help me to resolve this issue.

Hello
Here are a couple hints:
1) Make sure that all the services in transaction SICF are active. Specially the nodes below /sap/bc/bsp/sap
2) From the error message, looks like the runtime repository is corrupted. Please, compare the runtime repository of component BT126H_APPT and the one in ZBT126H_APPT. Probably, you will have to restore the runtime repository.

Unable to view enhanced field in Data Source

Hi All,
We recently upgraded our R/3 system from 4.7 to ECC 6.0. Now when we are enhancing the data source, the field is visible in the Extract Structure. But we are unable to view it in the data source. We checked out in RSA2 the enhanced field attribute is specified as 'Field in OLTP and BW Hidden by SAP'. We have written code to modifiy the ROOSFIELD table to make the enahnced field visible. But this is the problem with all the data sources. Whenever, we have to enahnce, we have to go thru this process to make the enhanced field visible.
Is it like that we missied out any patch in ECC 6.0 while upgrade? If any person faced similar situation, please help us.

Hi Ravi,
I think you are missing a step here. As soon as you enhance your datasource with new fields, by default, those 2 check boxes are checked ( Hidden and Field in User exit only). You go to RSA6, edit your datasource and here, you can uncheck these added fields so that you can use them. You do not need to write any code to change the fields settings in ROOSFIELD table. Do the step I mentioned above after enhancing and you should be good. Hope it helps.

Issue in Tree View Enhancement

Hello Experts,
I have a Tree View and its related Context Node Class. Due to some requirement I need to enhance the same.
I have done the following steps:
1. Enhance the View which eventually enhanced the CTXT class to Z_CTXT as well.
2. I am trying to enhance the Tree View context node( say IBASE in my example).
When I do the same, it is giving me an error saying that
Method CTXT - CREATE_IBASE does not exist.
Just to recheck I went to the parent class of Z_CTXT which is CTXT and found the method was very much there.
Refer standard component ICCMP_IBASE View: IBTreeResultList Context Node: IBASE. My question is related to this context node.

Hi Vinamra,
When you enhance the view by default CTXT class also will be enhanced, when you enhance the context node then only system will create corresponding method create_"context node name" in your Z_CTXT class.
Did you check Z_CTXT class for the create_ibase method, This class should have added this method with code like this

Using SPAU_ENH transaction for webdynpro view enhancements

Hi All,
We have enhanced a standard web dynpro component by adding a new view to it. We are now doing an upgrade and have to adjust the modification since SAP has overwritten this webdynpro in the new version. How will i be able to adopt the modification i had previously done.
I had gone to transaction SPAU_ENH and found the component within the Webdynpro had a status of yellow (meaning Semi-automatic adjustment)....... I tried many times, but could not find a way to adopt the changes in a split screen editor similar to SPAU transaction. Will i be able to do this? or will i have to change the whole webdynpro manually by adding the view all over again.

Hello,
I want to add inbound plug to one standard WebDynpro component.
I've tried to enhance a Window with one inbound plug, but this plug does not appears in interface view inbound plug list.
How to add inbound plugs to interface of standard components? Is it possible?

I can't add neither outbount nor inbount plugs to standard component FITV_FPM_START.
I've double clicked in interface view APPLICATION_WINDOW, but I can't click to enhance button, because it is disabled.
Is it possible to enhance standard webdynpro component interface views plugs?

How to view enhanced podcast slides on iPad mini

How can I view slides for enhanced podcasts on an iPad Mini?
It seems it used to be possible but a recent iPad update has disabled the functionality.

I've also downloaded Downcast.
It does show the album cover but it doesn't actually show the slides as they transition throughout the podcast.

Hi Gaurav,
have a look at the constructor method in your new z-class.
It should be declared in a superclass of your z-class, probably in CL_BT127I_A_ACTIEFJOURNA0. There the constructor sets the attribute view_name with a constant.
To solve your problem, define your own constructor in the z-class and set the attribute view_name to your own view, i.e. your *.htm.

Where it will get stored and how to retrieve back those views?
As mentioned by Durairaj, the view would be available in the saved views of BW System. To have a look follow these steps:
1) Go to Programs -> Business Explorer -> Analyser
2) From the BW Toolbar -> Click on folder icon (open) -> Saved views
3) This will prompt you to logon
4) Search for the technical name you had given. You will find it there.
How to retrive and view in portal.
As mentioned above, you can retrieve it back from the BW System. Now, as to how to view it on Portal, this is exactly the same report which you had opened and saved with a different technical name. Which means, only the technical name has changed but the query string still remains the same and thereby the report is still the same.
Once he saved the view, all other who login and view the report in portal, they should see only the view saved by the administator.
But this report still remains the same. This view is no different from the report which you opened and then saved with a different technical name.
I want to hide the save view option in the report
Not sure if you can do this for a set of users.
you have sso configured between portal and BW server, if yes the authentication pop up should not come.
if you dont want to do sso between portal and bw server and still want to logon to BW query with anonymous user,
in you bw server go to transaction sicf and navigate to DEFAULT_HOST->SAP->BW->BEX and double click on bex node in the resulting window, log on details section provide a default userid/password

How to view enhanced postCast

hi there,
I have finally managed to create the enhanced podCast with ChapterTool. Everything worked well and I now have my .m4aE file as well as the .m4a.
However, I don't know how to view it. If I click on it, nothing happens? I tried importing in iTunes, viewing it in quicktime but, nothing works.
And I don't know how to add it in my XML file which have my podCasts. I have looked in the technical specifications and I cannot find anything!
Please help!

Page Component View - Enhancement Request

Minor enhancement request:
Add a link directly to the Javascript section of the Page attributes, similar to HTML Header, Template etc.
This would also have the benefit of being able to determine if functions were declared in this section w/out having to drill into the page.

After testing the issue in my environment, I can reproduce it. After we change a column name which is used in a Power View chart, Power view will render the message that” The external data connection has been disabled for this Power View report. Please enable
the connection.” when we reopen the file.
To fix this issue, we can click Refresh button under POWER VIEW menu, then it would prompt us that” Power View was not able to complete the action due to a query failure. This can happen if the structure of your data has changed, in which case closing and
re-opening the application will resolve the problem.”
According to the error message, we should try to reopen the file to fix this issue. Power view will render the message that” Please refresh to see the data for this Power View Sheet. You can set properties in the Connection Properties dialog so that the
data refreshes automatically when you open the file.” when we reopen the file. Then we can refresh it again, the report will be displayed without that field.
Based on my research, inherently what the message means is that Power View cannot be used as a tool for snapshot reporting. With an Excel PivotTable, we can see the data last saved in the PivotTable. Power View, however, does not behave the same way – it
won’t render the last saved state. If we want to avoid this message when we reopen the file, there are two methods:
When we create the Power View report, we can select the checkbox that “Refresh data when opening the file”.
After it’s been set up, go to Connections on the Data menu, then choose Properties.

Viewing Enhanced Podcasts?

Hopefully I'm overlooking something, but I can't seem to figure out how to automatically view still images included in enhanced podcasts on my iPad. When I download the podcasts from iTunes, they load and play via my iPod application. I see the poster frame and the audio plays fine, but I can't see subsequent images the way I can when viewing the same podcasts in iTunes on my MBP, MP or MB.
The podcasts I'm trying to watch is "The Martin Bailey Photography Podcast," in case an example will help.

here's been my work around solution that seems to work fine - there's probably a quicker way, so let me know.
1. from garage band, share to disk (for better quality images, i took off the set images to 300x300 box). don't send to itunes yet. file exports as an .m4a.
2. open .m4a file using quicktime (i use quicktime player 10.0). file uploads images, chapters, etc.
3. save file as .mov file. (select format that works for you - i've been trying the HD 480p option).
4. drag .mov file to itunes.
5. sync MOVIES. play within movies.
6. play out of the video APP.
hope that helps. let me know if you have any better luck or other options. seems terrible that i would have to save every enhanced podcast as a .mov file.

Trouble viewing enhanced podcasts

When I am using iTunes, I can click on the album art and it displays (almost) full-screen in its own window.
When I am watching a video in iTunes, I can option-click the small image and the movie will play (almost) full-screen in its own window.
If I am watching an enhanced podcast (.m4b) in iTunes, the pictures change (like a slide show) at the beginning of each “chapter.” If I click one of these pictures, it displays (almost) full-screen in its own window. (So far so good...)
Here’s my question / problem:
When viewing an enhanced podcast in its own window, the pictures do not change in the large window. I can see the pictures still changing in the smaller “album art” window, but the only way to view the picture sequence in the larger window seems to be to click on the small image every time it advances to the new image.
Is this right? Is there some way to watch the changing pictures in their own window?

hi all,
my requirement is to enhance a travel management standard component which is already enhanced earlier,
now i want to bind the transparent container visible property to the context attribute visibility which is created as part of enhancement .,but when im trying to bind it, it is not displaying the context attribute to bind. wt i have to do? pls guide me

Hi,
When you go to the standard view , did you clicked on "Enhance button (Ctrl +F4) then you will get the popup to choose in which enhancement implemenation you want to save your changes choose the existing one (as you said the component is already enhanced) then you can go to the Transparent container and bind the visiblity property.
Also if you have created the attribute at component level did you mapped it to the component at line item level ?

For column: Application (path and program)
Maintain the value %SAP-OFFICE-INTEGRATION.INPLACE%
Above configuration will open the Micrsoft Office application within the window for processing the document info record.
Hence user will not be able to download the attachment.
And with option of Authorization controls you can disable "SAVE" and "PRINT" options from the menu screen.
Hence user will not be able to save or print the attachment.
