  • Reg: Error at Receiver determination

    hi friends
i have designed a scenario for JDBC to RFC and while testing that scenario at configuration part i found the error that  "receiver determination is not found"  i also tested with file to file scenario and found the same error . can anyone suggest how to overcome this error and what might be the error.
    with regards
    sharmista

    Hi Dadapure sharmishta,
Have you provided any conditions in the receiver determination? In that case make it sure that the condition is getting satisfied. Also check if all the objects are activated. Check the sxi_cache for cache related issues.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Sanjeev.

  • Problem in Receiver side File Adapter using FTPS mode

    Hello,
Here I am facing some problem in receiver side while using FTPS mode in the channel configuration.
The error message which i could see in the audit log is,
Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: Error when getting an FTP connection from connection pool: com.sap.aii.af.service.util.concurrent.ResourcePoolException: Unable to create new pooled resource: java.lang.NullPointerException
Can anyone help me out in solving this issue ASAP?
I am using Per file transfer mode ni the reciever channel.
    Thanks in advance,
    Yours
    Soorya

    HI Surya,
First check wether server started or not and then check you are connecting to FTP server by
go to run -> cmd and write ping and ipaddress which is used and see whether u r getting reponse from teh FTP server.
Try to login to the ftp server which you have mentioned in CC using the user name and pwd, to chk whether you have the permissions to login to the server.
Also the check whether the folder you are trying to access is having permission for delete/read/write.
Restart the FTP server and try it again.

  • Error in Receiver Soap Adapter for Google API

    Hi,
I am working on HTTP-XI-Soap scenario which on the receiver side calls google API for spell check.
I get the following error : <b>No Deserializer found to deserialize a ':key' using encoding style 'http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/'.</b>
However if I try calling the webservice individually using SOAP Client it works fine and do get desired response. The soap message that is sent by the client to the target URL is :
    <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:urn="urn:GoogleSearch" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
       <soapenv:Body>
          <urn:doSpellingSuggestion soapenv:encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/">
             <key xsi:type="xsd:string">qXWD4x1QFHIo/dePqlYOLwT7kMmkv80E</key>
             <phrase <b>xsi:type="xsd:string"</b>>Bratney</phrase>
          </urn:doSpellingSuggestion>
       </soapenv:Body>
    </soapenv:Envelope>
However if i remove the "xsi:type="xsd:string" part from the element 'phrase' and 'key' it returns the same error as it does while using with XI.
Hence I am assuming that that the outgoing soap message elements need to have the above highlighed attribute.
Now I want to have this attribute(xsi:type="xsd:string) in the soap message that is sent from XI.
My question is , Is there any setting using which I can add the attributes in the above form to the outgoing message from XI.I do not want to use a adapter Module.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sidharth

    Hi Sidharth,
You post here the soap message that is sent by the client to the target URL, but did you look to the soap message that is sent by XI?
    Try the AF monitor http://<host>:<j2ee-port>//MessagingSystem/monitor/monitor.jsp?
Because XI soap adapter doesn't support all tags of wsdl rpc-based, we need to adjust them...
Look to the SOAP FAQ (SAP note number 856597) under question "Can I convert an RPC styled WSDL to a document styled WSDL?"... Look at last but one paragraph ;o)
So, you need to change this attribute to one that it is compatible...
Go to http://service.sap.com/xi > Media Library > Documentation and there you will find this xls document -> SAP XI 3.0 (SP11) - Supported XML Schema and WSDL (EN) in this document you have all the compatible elements of wsdl for XI.
One more thing, you can adjust your soap request and change or add the required tags You can do it with xslt-mapping or create your won data types in XI without import the WSDL generated by google.
    Hope it helps,
    Ricardo.

  • Error in receiver Mail Adapter of PI 7.1

    Hi Team,
I had configured Mail Receiver Adapter in PI 7.1 with the following Parameters.
I had imported the XSD given & Mapped only Subject, From, To, Content fields.
In Receiver Communication Channel parameters are
    *Transport Protocol = SMTP
    Message Protocol = XIALL
    URL = SMTP url given
    Authentication Method = Plain
User/ Password given for my id only
    MAIL Attributes
From, To = my own company id
    Content Encoding = base64*
These are the seeing i had done for Mail Receiver Communication Channel
When I test by HTTP, i am getting Succesful in Moni & in Adapter i am finding this error.
com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: Error: invalid XIMailAdapter channel 'b7b80e17d9e336b38354f663c01aed68'
Mail Settings have been done in System, got even Test mails from System.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Sriram

See, the XSD that you are referring or the blog is referring needs to be imported under External Definitions and directly use it in message interface & message mapping ....you dont again need to create a DT based on that XSD!......you will need a DT & MT just on the sender side (in your particular case)
So just create the DT for sender (you seem to have done this part).....import the XSD into IR from this location
    https://websmp205.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/012006153200000361852004E/ximail30_xsd.txt
use it on the receiver side.....The only thing that i wanted to mention is that when you enter the Subject, To, From details in CC you can even design your own DT for receiver side
I hope that you are entering the URl in this format --> smtp://<the url>
    Check this thread :invalid XIMailAdapter
and this blog to confirm your settings: /people/prasad.ulagappan2/blog/2005/06/07/mail-adapter-scenarios-150-sap-exchange-infrastructure

    Hi,
Check it - File adapter is active ? try to Re-activate the same.
    Also do CPACache Refresh.
Still problem, tyr out by restarting the Adapter Engine.
I guess you're just trying to send all the data in your file record to a <data> element as a whole. If so, this blog will help you:
Configuring Generic Sender File CC Adapter
Under certain operating system platforms, such as Solaris, the APIs used by the Java Runtime (JRE) are not Unicode-aware. Consequently, the JRE needs to be configured to correctly interpret the character set it receives from the operating system.
This is configured through the "file.encoding" system property as well as the "LANG" environment variable.
Make sure you set "file.encoding" to a character set (such as ISO-8859-1) that supports the special characters you would like to process. This system property can be configured by appending "-Dfile.encoding=<encoding>" to the Java VM parameters section of the SAP J2EE Config Tool.
Additionally, you need to set the "LANG" environment variable to a locale that supports more than 7 bits, such as "de.ISO8859-1". The encoding you specify in the LANG environment variable needs to match the encoding set via "file.encoding".
You can persistently configure the environment variable by setting it in the profile $HOME/.sapenv_$HOSTNAME.csh of the <sid>adm user: setenv LANG de.ISO8859-1

    footer..1..1,
As i am using PI 7.0 , can you any one tell me ..how do i mention item segment is occuring multiple times in the reciever content conversion. If only one segment is comming then the scenario is working but if the item segment is comming with multiple times, it is throwing error.

    hi,
There is no need of giving * in receiver side FCC
    give the structure as

try with this one,it will work....
    and give corresponding

  • XI Server Malfunction:Error in Receiver Adapter

    Hi all,
We are facing a problem with the J2EE Engine of our XI server. No scenario is working,as the receiver adapter is not being called.
For every scenario, the sender adapter works fine, but I get the following error on the receiver side:
<b>'HTTP response contains status code 503 with the description Service Unavailable'.</b>
e.g. in a simple file-to-file scenario, the sender-side file gets picked up but on the receiver-side file I get the above error.
Previously working scenarios are also not working.

  • Creating Multiple Files with different name at Receiver side

    Gurus -
Can anybd tell me how to generate multiple files at the Receiver side in the given target directory with different file names?
One source message will contain number "N" using which we have to generate files "N" number of times at the Receiver side.
    Kindly help.

    hi,
    are you following this blog?
provided you have SP>14 and no IDOC/HTTP involved.
and have you got the error you mentioned when testing with sample payload?
from where did you take the payload? if is from SXMB_MONI make sure you dont have <MESSAGE> tags in the payload, generally systems adds <MESSAGE> tags when you do multi mapping.
get the payload from SXMB_MONI right click ->view source payload(this is raw data) and test it.
    it should be ok now.
and refer my discussion in the thread ,as I got he same error.

  • SXMB_MONI - Message has error on outbd. side

    Hello,
We have occurences when interfaces appear to be successful in the SXMB_MONI monitor for processed xml messages.  The status flag = successfull.  But there is a column just in front of "Message ID" that also has another status flag.
When this flag is red and you hover over it, it shows the following "Message has error on outbd. side".  How can we locate a corresponding log and get some more detail behind this message?  We cannot seem to connect the dots between this red flag and a corresponding log entry to give us details of the problem.
When it says "outbound", which system should we be examining (PI or the receiving system)?
    Thank you,
    John

    Hi,
Select the Messge in MONI and MenugotoOutbound Channel monitor
Double Click on the Idoc Number, this will take you to SM58 Screen
Here you can be able to seee the reason why it got errored out at Outbound Side.
    Now in SM58Edit-Execute LUWs
Selection screen will appear and here select all the check boxes irrespective of any Error and select the date that when these message got into Error state and all.
And Now Execute that either in Foreground or in Background
This will execute all the Errored messages at Outbound side will process and the Idocs will reach to R/3

  • HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request error in receiver REST channel

    Hi Experts
I am currently working on an interface in which we have created a REST communication channel on the receiver side.
The below error comes up in the PI when we try to perform the GET operation on the URLs given below:
Error Message: HTTP error occurred: HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request
    URLs -
    i) https://<myHost>:<myPort>/businesses/search?Keyword=Viridor&ResultsPerPage=10
    ii) https://<myHost>:<myPort>/businesses/ec92a1e9-cef0-48aa-8800-a2e500ce8b1c/sites?Keyword=Viridor&ResultsPerPage=10
When we use SOAP UI to perform the above test, it works perfectly fine and fetches the required response from the target REST server.
Also, when we use the URL - https://<myHost>:<myPort>/businesses in the receiver communication channel in PI, it works fine and retrieves the
values of all the businesses present on the target server, however on making URL more specific - like the two URLs above, it does not work
and gives the bad request message.
Please can you let me know what could be the issue.
    Thanks,
    Maheswarareddy

    Hi All,
Issue resolved:) ...that due to When calling a URL in the REST Receiver Channel, all GET variables are ignored
so we had to upgrade SP10 patch level 5 and all services are working as we expected.

  • Socket error on receive message on MDM 7.1 Console

    Greetings -
This may be a simple question, but I couldn't find a solution, so here goes:
I have a new install for MDM:
    OS: B.11.31 U ia64 (HP Unix)
    MDM: 7.1.0.5
    DB: Oracle 10.2.0.4
    MDM Console Client : 7.1.0.5.92
I have MDM server and database on same server.  When I go to connect to the server
and create a repository for the first time, I get the message "Socket error on receive".
This happens when I go to set my DBMS Settngs as well ...
I didn't see that on my Suse Linux 10 install.
I am looking at the logs, but I don't see what / why the initial call does not go through to the
database to set up connection.  I have also put in fake SYSTEM / Password in the settings
and I get the same message.  It seems that it doesn't get to the point where it authenticates
    to the database(??).
I do have a core file.  If I do a 'strings' on the core file, it appears that there is a connection
trying to happen.  In the nohup.out file, I see this:
    [[excerpt]]
[[INFO]] <MDM/Servers/MDS/MDSCommon/XCSGlobalFunctions.cpp:410> "User authentication method: Repository"
ConnectionAcceptor::ConnectionAcceptor(): bind() failed with errno=0x000000E2 'Address already in use'
    Trying again for 120 seconds
    [/excerpt]
Though this could be a misleading message ...
    Few question:
How can I determine how to trace / see how the Console is trying to connect to the
    MDM server / database?
How can I figure out what address this is talking about?
Is this just a vague error or should I be looking somewhere specific for troubleshooting?
    Please advise!
    Thanks!

    Everyone -
We have a solution, however, it introduces a lot of new things that will require some
investigation.  Before I go to that level, let me tell you what we did to resolve:
    Recap:
Our MDM installation is on a shared OS (HP Unix) environment.  It is not virtual.  In short,
we have one large server and multiple application that have their own logical IP Addresses
    and hostnames.
When trying to connect from the MDM console (laptop/workstation/etc), through the application
(MDM server) to the database (on the HP Unix system) and create a repository, this is where we
see the 'Socket on receive' error.
    Solution:
As per SAP "Note 1264660 - MDM on HP-UX IA crash when used with Oracle 10.2.0.4 client",
part of the problem is because of how Oracle binds to a specific socket.  By itself, that
solution did not work.  This effects the server side, too.  The next steps to fix this were to:
extract the SAP OCL10264.SAR files in the shared client directory (/oracle/client/10x_64/instantclient)
backup the library files from the server-level area of Oracle (/oracle/<SID>/102_64/lib)
stop Oracle, the listener and MDM
copy the SAP OCI files (as noted in  1264660) to the /oracle/<SID>/102_64/lib directory also
    verify the Oracle environment variables
restart all systems and services (Oracle, MDM, listener)
Of course, your oracle library paths will vary.  Check your LD_LIBRARY_PATH for that location.
We also learned that if we set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable to where the
oracle client library files were (client side), things should work.  We did try that, but it did
not work.  At least, we tried it once and started to test other things (including our solution).
Feel free to try that option and update this thread.
Our solution was to copy those files directly into our server path and try again.
Thanks to everyone who took time to look at this!

  • File to File (get confirmation from receiver side)

    Hi All,
I have a FILE to FILE scenario (assynch of course) (both FTP) and the manager of this project is asking us to have a confirmation when the interfaces have been performed and received sucessfully in receiver side and LOG it in a table of our DataBase (Oracle).
I'd like to know what is the best way to achieve this ? How can the sender side know if the file has been received sucessfully in receiver side and thus the interface can log it in a DB table as sucessful ?
    Thank you,
    Regards

    Hi Diego,
you can setup an Business Process where you receive the file sender message, send to the file receiver asking for an acknowledgment and define an exception branch for that. In the exception branch you map the error cases (for the two receiver of the status). In the normal branch you map the positive response for the status receivers. Finally you have the two send steps to the status receivers.
    receive step
    block
    -normal branche
          --send step to file receiver
          --transformation positive 1
          --transformation positive 2
      -exception branche
          --transformation negative 1
          --transformation negative 2
    end block
    send step status receiver 1
    send step status receiver 2
    Regards,
    Udo
