Reg: Error While Excueting the WebI Reports

Hi Experts ,
I have created a webi report , using the universe. therewith it fetch the data from the SAP-BW System ,before all the reports developed using webi works fine.
Its works good in BW.
But reports shows the error as follows in WebI.
Error text message from WebI
A database error occurred. I created WebI report based on universe that is connected to Excel data. Through DSN I m accesing Excel Data . I created same DSN in server also. If I refresh the webI Report in BO server it tells the following error.
A database error occured. The database error text is: [Microsoft][ODBC Excel Driver] System resource exceeded.. (WIS 10901)
Before that its working fine. what may be the problem?

Error While Run the WebI Report on SAP BW Query

Hi
I have build the universe on SAP BW Query . I built the same universe on the SAP BW DEV and SAP BW Test
When I tried to run the WEBI Report on the Universe which is built on the SAP BW Test
WebI Report is prompting for the below values
Calendar Year
Profit Center
Profit Center Hierarchy
Version.
Here I can see the List of values for the Calendar Year and Profit Center. Its giving me below error when I look for list of values for the Profit Center and Profit Center Hierarchy.

My Questions:
1.     Why I am getting this error. Because of authentication or configurations set on the Profit Center and Profit Center Hierarchy objects? If so , please let me know what I need to set?
When I tried to run the same WEBI Report on universe which build on SAP BW Dev Query. I can see list of values for the Calendar Year, Version, Profit Center, Profit Center Hierarchy.
But when I selected the values and tried to run the report. I got below error.

- the BI Query in the Test system is running correct and all the variables do work ?
     Yes, BI Query is working fine in the Test System and I can see all the variables too
In BI Query I can see values for Calendar Year, Version, Profit Center, Profit Center Hierarchy

Yes, Universe has all the variables.
- do you see values in the Web Intelligence prompts when you run the report ?
   No,
   I can only see values for the Calendar Year & Version in the Web Intelligence Prompt.
When I try to see values for the Profit Center & Profit Center Hierarchy in the Web Intelligence Prompt, its showing below error.

Getting error while refreshing the Webi report

I am getting error, while refreshing Webi reports. Error like:
A database error occured. The database error text is: Error in MDDataSetBW.GetCellData. Time limit exceeded.. (WIS 10901)

Hi,
If it's not the universe limits, then I think you've hit the "MDX result contains too many cells" (more than 1million) problem.
So, I suspect a long running query, no filters/variable restrictions, and You've probably got a dump in ST22.
I don't know what BW you have, but if it is BW 7, do you have Enhancement Pack 01 and SP05<->10 ?
You should check out all the latest corrections from component BW-BEX-OT-MDX
the final proof of the pudding would be to enable MDA / SOFA log , capture the MDX SELECT statement and test it in BW MDXTEST - i bet you get the same error there.

Error while running the financial report in the workspace.

Hi,
Im getting the below error while running the financial report in the workspace in HTML mode.
*"Required application module reporting.HRRunDlg is not configured. Please contact your administrator".*
And im not able to login to the Hyperion Financial Reporting as well.. i get the below error
*"You are not authorized to use this functionality. Contact your administrator"*
Can someone let me know how to resolve this error.

You don't mention the version, what app server or web server you are using, etc.. That information might be helpful, but in general, you can try the following:
1. Make sure you have gone through the FR Web App deployment steps and verify the settings entered in the Config Tool.
2. For version 11.1.1.x and 9.3.1.x, try opening the report in FR Studio and running it via the FR Studio Print Preview (*bold*not*bold* Web Preview.) If the report runs/processes, then the back-end FR Services are functioning and the issue is confined to the web interface. Verify the FR Web App is up and listening on the designated port (8200, by default), check the FR Web App logs and the App Server (WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, OAS) logs for errors/issues.
If the report fails to process in FR Studio Print Preview, then there is a problem with the FR Reporting Server Service. Check to make sure the service is up/functioning and check the FR Report Server logs for errors.
3. Test access to other FR functionality in workspace (ex: Files->Preferences->Financial Reporting or Explore->Tools->Database Connection Manager?) If these don't work, then try to connect to the following URLs:
http://workspaceServer:19000/hr/status.jsp
http://frWebAppServer:8200/hr/status.jsp
Note: The URLs above assume standard/default ports. You may need to adjust them for your environment.
If the first URL fails, but the second URL works, there is a problem with the HTTP redirect settings on the Web Server (Apache, IIS, etc.) Run through the Workspace deployment and make sure the Web Server Config settings point to the right ports/servers.

Error while loading the Web template "0ANALYSIS_PATTERN" (return value "4")

I activated all 0* objects in BTMP and checked that they are all activated, but I found errors when opening the BEx Web Analyzer
Error messages :

Error messages :

Template Include Item FOOTER_TEMPLATE unresolved or empty. Close and reopen template.
Width of object item:GROUP_ITEM:GROUP_ITEM_1 is very small (1amp;1)
Query does not exist in the BI System (Object QU )
Cannot instantiate data provider
I also ran RS_TEMPLATE_MAINTAIN_70 (0ANALYSIS_PATTERN) version A and got the following errors:

Error (IES10901) (WIS 10901) while refreshing the Webi report

Hi Gurus,
We have created webi reports using Universe design tool on top of BEX Query based on 0SD_C03 cube and now we are facing Database error: A runtime exception has occured. (Error loading cube 0sd_c03 (catalog : % 3). (IES 10901 ) (WIS 10901) while trying to refresh the Webi report from Data Access--> Edit--> Run Query while its running fine when I refresh the report using refresh button option in Webi.
When I run the the query in rsrt its working absolutely fine.
Note that we are using BOBJ 4.0 SP7 and this issue has come recently.
Any idea or help on this would be appreciated.

are you getting this error constantly or sometimes?
what type of connection are you using for your Webi report
Is it Specified user name/password OLAP connection or SSO Olap connection
If your are using Specified user name/password OLAP then try with SSO connection because SAp recommendation is not to use Specified user name/password OLAP connections..to resolve this kind of issues please restart DSL bridge..

Error getting,while generating the Webi report

while i am generatign the Webi report, i am getting below error.
com.jpmorgan.extraclear.reportservice.BOException: :generateReport :: Exception com.businessobjects.rebean.wi.ServerException: The number of simultaneous report jobs was limited to 10 by the system administrator. . Please try to reconnect later.[ RCIRAS0518 ]
please help me out.

I just got the same error message, but I try to open a DeskI in InfoView. This has nothing to do with the Web Intelligence Processing Server. But I had problems with the RAS (Report Application Server). A restart of the RAS didn´t help, so I restarted the BOXI-Server. Now everything is fine, but I still don´t know, what happens.
It would be great to know what the problem was.
Hope to get an answer.

Hi Manoj,
Go to the controls tab in parameters in universe designer and there increase the "Limit size of result set to" and "limit execution time to".
Also in webi go to the edit query and increase the "maximum rows retrived" and "maximu retrievel time".
I think this should avoid partial results.

URL error while executing a web report in WAD

Hi,
When I execute a web report through the Web Application Designer, I get the following error:
The requested URL could not be retrieved
While trying to retrieve the URL: http://abcd.efghi.es:8000/sap/bw/BEx?
The following error was encountered:
Unable to determine IP address from host name for abcd.efghi.es
The dnsserver returned:
Name Error: The domain name does not exist.
This means that:
The cache was not able to resolve the hostname presented in the URL.
Check if the address is correct.
But when I execute the web report with the IP of the machine http://123.456.7.893:8000/sap/bw/BEx?...........
I can execute my web report correctly.
I didn't find any options in the menu web template in order to modify the url generation.
Please help me to solve this problem.

     'CL_WDR_CLIENT_APPLICATION=====CP' has to be

Looks to me like you are trying to fire a navigation plug within WDDOMODIFYVIEW. According to the rules of the WD Phase Model this is not allowed.

Error when geeting the WebI report into Xcelsius using LiveOffice

I am using Xcelsius 2008 SP2 and Live Office. I run the report in the WebI and I am trying to get the report into Xcelsius using the live office. When I go to live office and select web intelligent I am able to see the report it the InfoView but when I go to next step to insert into live office I am getting the below error "
An error occurred when an object was selected in the report part viewer.(LO 02026)
Maximum character output size limit reached. Contact your BOBJ administrator(Error: ERR_WIS_3072)".
Could any one please help me.

Hello Raghavendra,
What is the size of the WebI report? There may be a limitation to the rows of data you can pull into Live Office.
If this is the issue, you can avoid it through an alternative connection method called the [Xcelsius Web Intelligence Integration Suite.|http://antivia.com/products-xcelsius.stm]
You can use this to connect Xcelsius directly to WebI, without the need for Live Office.

Error while exporting the Web Intelligence report

Hello Gurus,
We are using BO 3.1. I have to do some modifications for the existing Webi report. Once i do the modification, save them then try to export it back to the repository. I am getting the following error:
" your security profile does not allow you to save the document in the specified location"
I have all the Admin rights on the folder that I am exporting to. Please throw some light.

Revisit your right on the folder, you might be part of the admin group for the folder but not all previledges are set, like overwriting report that you did not create

BO 4.0 : JCoException while scheduling the webi report

Hi,
We are in BO 4.2 patch 8.
We have 35 webi reports. These report uses SAP BW as data source. We are using DF to fetch data from SAP BW.
We have manually configured the RFC destination for JCO connection (as mentioned in SAP notes - 1638647).
Reports are getting scheduled successfully. But sometimes some webi reports fails with the following error message.
Database error: (CS) "Java Exception : java.lang.RuntimeException:com.sap.connectivity.cs.java.drivers.DBDError: [Data Federator Driver][Server] [Connector 'Sales_BO_New'] SAP NetWeaver BW has reported an exception: com.sap.conn.jco.JCoException: (112) RFC_ERROR_REQUEST_CANCELLED: connection with handle 3 closed
after cancel (remote system is PBI|BILPBI)" . (IES 10901)
This is in intermittent issue. If anybody faced this issue, then please let me know your feedback.

Personally, I haven't seen this before. To recap:
- Manual refresh work fine
- scheduling works most of the time
- but sometimes it fails with << SAP NetWeaver BW has reported an exception: com.sap.conn.jco.JCoException: (112) RFC_ERROR_REQUEST_CANCELLED >>
You might want see if you can isolate a particular document causing the problem, or determine if it's related to using certain refresh parameters

it says Find out from the JAVA application or the JCo traces which JCo Server was cancelled and restart the server; in the J2EE Application Server context, JCo Servers are often started via the Service JCo RFC Provider
but .. i don't know how helpful that is..
