REG errors in COGI

Hi
I have cleared an error in COGI by keeping qty as 0.That error has been deleted and now stock has not been consumed from production supply warehouse in my plant.How to revoke the deleted COGI error and clear the below issue.

It's not possible to revoke the deleted entries of COGI and does the system deletes the entry if we post any entry in COGI with 0
quantity?
Was the error related to production goods issue?

I have an issue with COGI, Client has performed Goods Issue(261) for a particular process order through a background job, later he has done the 262 for the same process order after knowing that he has done 262 for the same with a custom program due to some excess issue happened, while doing the 262 for the Process order system has recorded an Error in COGI as below:
Units of measure Unit 1/ Unit 2 are different
Message no. M7182
Diagnosis
The stockkeeping unit contained in the material document to be cancelled is not the same as the stockkeeping unit contained in the material master record. However, a document can only be cancelled if the stockkeeping units are identical.
System Response
In this case, the system will not cancel the material document.
Procedure
To carry out the reversal, re-enter the given transaction using the relevant reversal movement type.
I have seen in the material master that the BUOM is same as the one which is in the docment which got posted during the 261 movement for the process order.
Also i see that the Alternate Unit conversion factor is maintained for both the units which are maintained in the Material master.
I have suggested client to do manual 262 through MB1A and erase the entry from COGI, but he doesnt want to do it manually.
Can you please suggest if there is any process to get rid of this error and process the 262 for the process order.

Error in COGS report

Hello,
I have a weird error coming up. I have a COGS report in my company. It shows COGS amt, profit ctr, material # and qty. For a particular material #, the COGS amt is popping but the qty is zero. What does this mean? If there exist qty, then only should an amt pop up. Why is amount showing in COGS with qty '0'.

Error in Cogi after cancelling production order- Urgent

Hi Experts,
Its me again.
I would liek to seek your help regarding this problem I have.
Below is the process done:
1) Create production order
2).CO11N : producing qty in quality inspection status (Stocks received in QI status)
3) QA32 : accepting inspection lot ( thus the stock will be moved to "unrestricted")
Due to some errors discovered, prod order needs to be cancelled
4) CO13 : Cancel production => mvt 102 will fall into the cogi with error message "Deficit of BA Stck in qual.insp ... etc"

Hi ,
If QM is active , you cannot use 322 movement directly.
For this you need to activate 08 insp type in MM insp set up.
After that , you can bring the matl back into Quality using 322 movement.
Dont forget to deactivate the 08 insp type , once your work is over.

101 Movement error in COGI

Hi,
When we are doing the confirmation of production order,if somebody using the same part no in another transaction, stock will not increase and also the same material will go to COGI with reasons of "material is locked by another user"
Hereby i need material will not go to COGI even another user is using the same part no. what and how configuration i have to make

In OPK4 there is a setting. This configuration is by order type.
1.Individual Entry General tab -->put tick mark Godds Movement & Terminate for In correct goods Movement.
You can also configure an error, warning, or no check in general validity setting tab for over delivery and under delivery.

The Problem is resolved. The DB Adapter files has been corrupted and i reinstall the Weblogic Server and now i am able to invoke and all works fine.

Reg Error while Posting A/P Invoice

Dear All ,
Hope everyone is doing their best.
I have an issue regarding A/P Invoice with Withholding Tax Liable. When ever i am adding A/P Invoice with WT Liable yes then system will show message for withholding tax will be calculated . Open the whitholding tax table for editing ? if i say yes then i can choose the respective code. But while adding the document system will show the following error " there is a difference between the document total & its components'' and the withholding tax amount will disappear automatically from the header level.
FYI i am using SAP B1 2007 with patch level 9 and TDS version is 4.8.
do show some light on this issue.

Hi,
First of all dont make the TDS entry after adding the document.
Instead before adding,Rt. click in an empty area of the AP invoice,choose WT table.
Choose the Transaction type(ie.,I or P)
Enter the taxable amount,the WT amount will be calulated accordingly.
Now add the document.
I hope this will solve your issue !
NB:I recommend you to upgrade TDS Ver 4.9 as rounding option is also incorporated in this version

Reg: Error while connecting to a remote database as SYS user.

When i try to connect to a database as SYS user i'm getting the error as
ora-01017 invalid username/password logon denied
But it is logging from the local system where the oracle is installed.
I created the password file and checked the contents in v$pwfile_users.
The result is " no rows selected".
so when i try to grant sysdba to sys user
grant sysdba to sys;
i'm getting error as,
ORA-01994: GRANT failed: password file missing or disabled
Please help me in resolving this.

Reg: Error while deploying the Model

Hello All,
I developed a Model in the VC.
The compilation of the model was successful.
But when I tried to deploy the model I'm getting an Error message saying :
"Error in executing a process for Flex compilation, Not enough space" .
Can anyone tell me what to do to resolve this problem ?

We also encountered this problem here at our customer´s system .
We told the basis administrators to increase the disk space which did not solve our problem, though.
After successfully compiling the vc model
Deploying with FLEX2 results in an error as follows:
"Process is not executed!"
while deploying with flex1 resulits in the error
"Error in executing a process for Flex compilation, Not enough space"
Since everything has been working smoothly for the last months until now,
we wonder how this error has suddenly occured.
Does anyone have an idea how to trace the error or has anyone encountered this error, too?

Hello experts,
I am trying to schedule a background job through SCOT so as to send the mails present in SOST.
The job is running but it is giving error as "Invalid status for recipient" in SOST.
But when I am sending it directly from SOST it is delivered without any errors. The email address is maintained correctly and SMTP settings are also correct as while sending it directly from SOST it reaches the required recipient without any error.
This error is observed only through background job. I am using program RSCONN01 with variant SAP&CONNECTINT in background job.
Kindly suggest why I am getting the error "Invalid status for recipient" in background job.

We developed a custom program which creates Operative Projects along with WBS, activities, milestones etc using a standard template ie. copying from standard project template. When i run this custom program online, it generates operative project
successfully. But when we run this program background , the job gets cancelled giving the following error.

Since you are running your program in background, I assume you have ensured that you are not reading from or writing to any file on the presentation server.
Presentation server is not accessible when you run your program in background.

Hi,
It depends whether you are using JDI or not.
1) If you use JDI, you only have to create an External Library DC and add the jxl.jar per Drap&Drop in Navigation panel to the DC. Add the file also to the public part. In the Web Dynpro DC add the External Library DC as used DC and deploy both DCs on the server.
The only error you can make is to deploy the components using "Deploy new archive and run..." -> this command won't deploy the jar and you have the same result as now. You have do build & deploy it step-by-step (Development Component -> Build..., Development Component -> Deploy).
2) If you are not using JDI and you are using local DC's then you have to do like this
Take one Library project and add jxl.jar to it, build and deploy.
Add this as library reference to your WebDynpro project.
To do it,
RightClick on your project> properties> WebDynproReferences> choose LibraryReferences tab> Click on Add> Now give the name of Library project here> Ok
Build the DC and deploy...

Hi all,
I created WebI report based on universe that is connected to Excel data. Through DSN I m accesing Excel Data . I created same DSN in server also. If I refresh the webI Report in BO server it tells the following error.
A database error occured. The database error text is: [Microsoft][ODBC Excel Driver] System resource exceeded.. (WIS 10901)
Before that its working fine. what may be the problem?
