Data Federator - Building Web Services Data Source - Request Guidance

I am trying to build a web services data source in Data Federator.
I have:
1. In ECC, I have created a web service, proxy, port, endpoint, etc. and am testing it with WS Navigator
2. I have created a Project in Data Federator of the type web service
    a. Here I have assigned the WSDL URL (generated in ECC) as the URL
    b. I have setup web service authentication using the same userid, pwd in the web services definition (note: I have set the
        web services authentication to 'NONE' to avoing authorization issues)\
    c. I am now trying to "Generate Operations"
I keep getting the error :
The File Access Parameters are not valid (directory path = <HERE IS THE PATH TO THE WSDL WITH THE HOST/PORT stripped OUT>; file pattern = document
I believe that it is finding the WSDL, becuase when I change the WSDL from 'Document' to 'RPC', the error changes with the file pattern = rpc.
What needs to be done to the file access parameter piece.
PLEASE provide guidance. Thanks.

We are using XI to load data to BI from source system. XI basically uses the same concept as Web Services - Real time data concept via RFC embeded in Proxies.
I was using web services to test data load - eventually we will use XI.
KJs blog is pretty good. I was able to get data loaded - after several iterations and several OSS notes. It is still not perfect - there are several manual steps . I am going to pick KJs brain on that.
We are on SP10 and looks like there are several bugs in RSRDA. Some of these are addressed in SP11 an SP12.
Some notes to consider are
0001003963, 0001008276,0001009260 and 001003265.

Mail can't send email from 123-reg accounts

Hi all,
I've got an issue with Mac Mail can’t send email from 123-reg accounts.
I know there is a lot of articles on simular matters and some I have tried out with no luck, others are just speaking a whole other language.
Any help would be greatly recived, here's my situation below:
Running a iMac 2.8GHz Intel Core i5 on OS X 10.8.3
I’m using 3 accounts on Macs Mail client, one is my iCloud account that is working fine and the other two are my 123-reg accounts that I use for business purposes. I’ve been working like this for a couple of years now and about 6 months ago I upgrade my operating system from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion.
2 or 3 months ago I randomly got a problem where I was unable to send any emails from my 123-reg account, I could only receive emails. I checked my settings and they were all correct and unchanged so I attempted to delete them and recreate the account but with no such luck.
I then decided to check if it was a problem at 123-regs end and attempted to log into web mail. This worked and was able to both send and receive emails so eliminated that possibility.
I also have these accounts set up on my iPhone, so checked if there was any issues and everything was working fine. I then checked my iphone details and made sure the same was on my desktop and still no such luck.
I’ve tried out some of the articles I’ve found on here (the ones written in plain English) still no results. I’m not very IT illiterate and just wondered if anyone else has got any ideas, whether there is something specific with 123-reg accounts and Mac Mail?

This is my first sharepoint project (SP 2013) for which I have been asked to develop a public facing internet site.
I do have a basic idea about certain concepts of sharepoint but still I'm looking for a guidance to how to go about with the project.
Requirements :
1. There are many modules. And each module has many courses.
ROLES : Anonymous Users : Read and download
Content Authors : Add, Edit, Delete content.
Approvers : Publish content
Need to implement cross-site publishing model (correct me if I'm wrong).
3. In one of the webpages of the website, there will be a table in the layout displayed as below: in which anonymous users can only read and download
documents. The brochure icons should allow to download document when clicked. Only authors have the authority to do any editing of the content as mentioned earlier.

1. Since I want a column called brochure which should be an icon (for each course record) and which will invoke upload/download( for authors) and only download for anonymous users, is there a datatype that is supported in custom list...because I couldn't
find any. Or do I have to implement a document library app?
Inder: Try Image content type. But on click it will download image and not whole course material. So my suggestion here is to create a calculated column to pull image and link download.
2. I would be very grateful if you could provide me with some useful links which might have a step by step procedure for implementing site architechture :
a)cross site publishing model
b) how to define the user permissions and content approval workflow for approvers
c) Customizing style of the custom list through sharepoint designer

New Indian Turn by Turn Voice Guidance Maps with o...

Dear Friends,
MapmyIndia.com offers Sygic mobile maps (http://inav.mapmyindia.com/product/sygic/sygic_mobile_maps.html) claims to have intuitive design, easy to read as you drive, crystal-clear spoken voice instructions and route guidance with map coverage of 401 cities all over India. What is also claimed is MapmyIndia Sygic mobile maps, once installed, are stored on your phone/SD card. This means that you do not require a GPRS or data connection to get them working. What's more, there are no subscription or recurring charges. The one time cost is 55 US Dollars which would be a great saving as I often use the map while in Indian roads. This provides me a better option compared to Nokia Maps which I like but is expensive and Google Maps which doesnt yet come with turn by turn voice guidance for Sybian 5 platforms (only available in Android 2).
The customer care of MapmyIndia mentioned that it is totally compatible with my new Nokia N97. However, I would like to find out if any of you have used this service and if it affects the performance of the phone (speed, memory, crashing etc) in any way. How does Nokia looks at such third party alternatives?

Dear cjlim, Thanks for the input. Well, in terms of updated maps, the google can't be matched. However, Nokia map updates do not necessarily cover all the rapid changes thats taking place all over India. As per your suggestion I had a chat with the customer service rep of mapmyIndia and the response are as following which says the update is every six months and it could be downloaded free.

How can I connect my MBA 11" 2012 to my Imac 21.5" mid 2010 as a display unit. Connected using a mini display port cable and this did not work. Any guidance welcome. Thanks. John

I bought a belkin mini display unit cable( new) and connected the thunderbolt port in the MBA ( 11" , mid 2012) to the Imac mini display unit port using this cable. Pressed the CMD & F2 keys on the Imac keyboard as required but this did not work. Should I try with another cable ? Should i try with a thunderbolt cable ( recommended by appple support ) -- but they too were not sure about this. Is the Mid 2010 21.5" Imac not able to function as an display unit? Any guidance would help and will be much appreciated.

Only the 27-inch iMac and Mid 2011 and newer iMacs can be used as an external screen, so you can't use your Mac as an external screen. See > http://support.apple.com/kb/PH11302
You can still use your iMac as an external display, using an application like ScreenRecycler

Reg: Message and BPM

I'm having a scenario where i use a JDBC adapter to extract data from a DB. As a result of the query say, 10 rows are returned as message to XI server. I have a transformation (BPM) set and the receiver(target system) is a file. When i open the file to see its contents i can see only the first record been transfered. The mapping part used for the transformation node is having IF condition. But all the fetched records satisfies the conditions in the mapping.
Pls let me know the corrective step.

1)Check the input XML i.e all 10 records are coming into XI . This you can check in SXMB_MONI
2) Then you can test the mapping in the integration Reposiotry .. So now you can get if any mapping problem. For this , check is the occurence of target strcuture is 1..n or 0.n

3) If mapping is correct , then check the RWB->Message Monitoring->Message Display Tool and check the payload.
4) If this is correct, then check the File COntent Conversion of the Receiver File Adapter.

Reg: How to Stop Polling of JDBC Adapter without Scheduling the adapter

Dear Gurus,
Here I am having one requirement. My clients wants to send data from JDBC adapter (ORcale System table) to R3 system via RFC.
His Requirement::
1. He is not telling the time of data flow from Oracle server so that based on that we can schedule the adapter in the Communication Channel monitoring (Availablitiy Time Planning) or Else we can Schedule by deciding the setting of the polling interval time.
2. He is telling that When ever he waants to send the data he will place one dummy file in the File Adapter FTP location so that it will became an Indication for u to poll the jdbc adapter and to transfer the data to R3.
3. Untill he keeps the file or gives indication he doesn;t want to communicate with Oracle server due to some security and it s a most important data base he doesn't want to disturb that Oracle Server as so many business are running on that.....
We Proposed::
1. Atleast you need to tell the scheduling time or poll interval time so that we can schedule our adapter.
but he s not accepting for this
2. Atleast U need to give access for Data base to enter one more extra field like STATUS CODE so that we will add one number and we keep on Update in the Update table and based on that Update table statement it will poll.
but he s not even accepting for this
3. Finally we prposed that to create another table in the Oracle SYstem as Dulplicate Table which is similar to Standard Orginal table when ever he wants to pick the data please keep that data in this Duplicate TABle so that JDBC adapter will pick the data from thsi TABLE instead of picking the data from that standard table so that it will not effect any standard table data in the table.
but he s not even accepting for this
We have done some R & D:::
1. WE approached even through BPM and via switch conditions is one scenario
   FILE RECEIVE >SWITCH CONDITION> RECEIVE AND SEND or else EXIT
2. Using correlation in anotehr scenario means correlating File adapter and JDBC and based on one dynamica value it will goes to SEND STEP ( RECE IVE --> RECEIVE --> SEND STEPS )
Even though we know this...concept that...we jsut tried::
In BPM we can control the flow in XI 3.0 but we cannot Stop the Polling of JDBC adapter at backend because one the data comes from FILE adapter it will keep on HOLD untill it receives the JDBC from Oracle then based on the condition or Correlation it will goes futher SEND step means after that file adapter is picking file or not ...what ever it may be JDBC will polls at backend and brings that data to BPM"
Hence sugest me How to Stop Polling of JDBC Adapter without Scheduling the adapter or else using STATUS CODE Update statements in JDBC Tables

My Question;;
1. First let confirm whether my development steps are right or not ?
2: Another thing s I am not sure reg Configuration Steps means
whetehr one interface determination and one Receiver Determinations are required or not as these are synchronous Interfaces

If my scenario s FILE2RFC2FILE then I will get RFC response automatically but here issue is this is JDBC
My reqquirement is By sending one Field from fILE to JDBC REQ it needs to send entire TAbLE records as a Response to file as XML
without having Sender JDBC how can I send the JDBC Res to FILE and If that is the case then again JDBC adapter is polling which is contradict to the client requuirement which i explained above.

Material is shipped to Depot with excise invoice. What is the procedure at depot for GR.
Do i need to capture the excise invoice?. From Depot, there is no excise invoice generated for customers.

How to set reg.cgi for VideoPhoneLabs

i start with stratus .i try set it to work with my dedicated apache server and sql but have no clue how to do it or where to put this file on my server.

They are country specific.
You could get a New Zealand address, then get a credit card that is billed to that address, then set up an account in New Zealand, and as long as you are inside the Borders of New Zealand, then you could redeem the card.

New iPhone user needs guidance setting up 4 iPhones for family - best approach?

Hi - I'm a new iPhone user tasked with setting up 4 iPhones for family (three 4S, one 3GS). I set up the first 4S using my mother's existing Apple ID (she has an iPad) and I think (hope) hers is fine. When I set up my father's phone, my sister said to enter my mother's Apple ID during setup since they wanted to use a single Apple ID for iTunes purchases. The setup screen I'm referring to the 7th screen into the setup process for a new iPhone 4S (after the Welcome, Language, Country/Region, Location Services, Wi-Fi Networks, and Set Up iPhone screens), where it asks you to "Sign In with an Apple ID" or "Create a Free Apple ID". This screen was where I entered my mother's Apple ID into my father's phone.
By entering my mother's Apple ID on my father's phone at this point during setup, I seem to have created a "clone" of her phone - their phone numbers are distinct and they can call each other but iMessages sent to either of them initially appeared on BOTH phones. I think I have now fixed that by creating a separate Apple ID for my father after the fact and entering it under Settings>Messages. Thinking I could also enter his new Apple ID under Settings>iCloud, I found I could not change it from my mother's Apple ID (it's greyed out). I saw a recommendation in another post to click on the red "Delete Account" button at the bottom, but will that delete my mother's entire account or only its association with my father's phone?
Backing up a step or two, I'm worried that at this point I should have entered/created a new Apple ID on screen #7 during initial setup of my father's phone (instead of entering my mother's Apple ID), and that just changing settings in iMessage, iCloud, etc. won't really fix any problem(s) I've created. I hesitate to set up the other two phones before knowing how badly I've already messed things up with this one.

I've spent time reading other posts and see so many different recommendations for families with multiple devices that my head is spinning. Many include questions from folks migrating from older phones or MobileMe. I think my situation is simpler in that there are 4 new iphones and one existing Apple ID. Have I missed some comprehensive post that clarifies the best way to set things up for families new to iPhones, or do needs vary so much that no single best way exists? Given my situation (and depending on which way I should proceed regarding having set up my father's phone with my mother's Apple ID), should I create/enter a separate Apple ID for each new phone user during initial setup so each phone is distinct from the others, and AFTER setup is complete, changing the iTunes and Store info to the shared Apple Id for purchases? Or can I customize each individual phone after the fact in Settings>Whatever so that even if I've entered the same Apple ID on Screen #7 during initial new phone setup, the 4 phones will ultimately be set up correctly?

Now I'll answer your questions)

Yes. Create his own apple id and sign him in. then tap settings ->store -> tap on the account name -> sign out.
Then sign in your fathers apple id. (create your fathers apple id on the computer, its much easier, trust me).

No. Tap settings -> icloud, and turn everything off (keep on the phone option). Then DELETE ACCOUNT (it's got red around it and at the bottom of the screen if you scroll down). You cannot sign out of iCloud, you can only delete the account. Then clean up the contacts and information on the phone.
Then you tap settings -> iCloud and sign in. Put your fathers apple id in the section. His information will be uploaded to www.icloud.com. Then go to www.icloud.com and sign in with his apple id. Make sure his information is uploaded (you'll have to select timezone and such).
From that point you are fine except for iMessage.
For iMessage to function properly, only one apple id can be signed into the iTunes store (settings -> store). If they are both signed into the same apple id on the iTunes store, than you need to turn off iMessage on one of the phones. The iMessage may be delievered to either phone when both are signed in under the same apple id in the iTunes store.
tap settings -> messages -> imessage off
This also disables facetime. If you want them to have iMessage and Facetime, they have to have seperate apple id's signed into the iTunes store.
Have I missed some comprehensive post that clarifies the best way to set things up for families new to iPhones, or do needs vary so much that no single best way exists?
Not that I've seen, will consider creating one if I have time.
Given my situation (and depending on which way I should proceed regarding having set up my father's phone with my mother's Apple ID), should I create/enter a separate Apple ID for each new phone user during initial setup so each phone is distinct from the others, and AFTER setup is complete, changing the iTunes and Store info to the shared Apple Id for purchases?
Your best bet is to create each apple id on the computer (keyboards are easier to use) and then sign them each in during the creation process. Then change the iTunes store info to the stored apple id.
This will allow each person to serpate iClouds without interfering with each others Cloud as you set up new devices.
Or can I customize each individual phone after the fact in Settings>Whatever so that even if I've entered the same Apple ID on Screen #7 during initial new phone setup, the 4 phones will ultimately be set up correctly?
Doing it this way can cause problems (or used to, not sure if it still does), initially, when you set it up, it wants to create a backup or upload the blank info to iCloud. You are better off setting up their own apple id first and signing in with that, and then changing it in the iTunes store.

The last thing you want is a second iCloud account. Try logging out and back in in System Preferences. If that doesn't work, I'd get AppleCare on the line.
