router with E&M (2800)----ip cloud----router with fxs--analog phone.
now i want to dial a call through e/m it should land on fxs
and from fxs to call land on pbx(e/m)
so plz help me how can i configure the routers.
Any body can help i am very thankfull to him,and also iam attaching the diag also.

Configuring an E&M analog trunk is straightforward. Three key options have to be set:
ô The signaling E&M signaling type
ô Two- or four-wire operation
ô The E&M type
Both sides of the trunk need to have a matching configuration. This example configuration
shows an E&M trunk using wink-start signaling, E&M type 5, and four-wire operation.
Because E&M supports inbound and outbound DNIS, DID is also configured on the
corresponding dial peer:
voice-port 0/2/0
signal wink-start ! default
operation 4-wire
type 5
voice-port 0/2/1
signal wink-start
operation 4-wire
type 5
so make sure u have the config in the router similer to the pbx E&M .. OK
then make the following dialpeers

prefrence word mean if port 0/2/0 no available the dial-peer 11 over port 0/2/1 will takover
Specify how many wires are used for voice transmission using the operation {2-wire | 4-wire} command. Note that this defines the wires used for the audio path only, not for signaling. The default is two-wire operation.
Specify the E&M interface type to which this port is connected using the type {1 | 2 | 3 | 5} command. On the VIC-2E/M or VIC2-2E/M interface module, you must set both ports to the same interface type
If the port configuration is correct and you are still having problems placing or receiving calls on the trunk, the first place to look is at the wiring between the PBX and the voice gateway. As mentioned, the most common problem encountered with E&M trunk is incorrect wiring

I would like to create a separate directory to hold the Domain Configuration files.
e.g. I installed WebLogic Server in /home/gp/bea/wlserver6.1
And currently, my Domain's configuration files are in /home/gp/bea/wlserver6.1/config.
I would like to move these files to /home/config/... How can I make the WebLogic
Server point to this path for the Config files ?

Hi.
Unfortunately WLS won't work this way. There is effort underway to make this more
flexible in the near future, but you can't do this with 6.1.

Newbie Help with Restoring SPA504G config file

I know just enough to be dangerous, but not enough to be completely effective. Any help is much appreciated.
I have a standalone SPA504G for which I have customized the configuration. Frequently, several times a day, the phone resets and returns to the default configuration, erasing all my efforts. As a result, I have two intertwined problems:
1 -- is there a way to prevent the resets? I am tethered to RingCentral for my VOIP service, if that is relevant.
2 -- if I cannot prevent the resets, how do I restore my configuration? I have reviewed this helpful post and have downloaded the spacfg.xml file. I have also installed Solarwinds TFTP Server for use in restoring the config file. My problem is that I am completely unfamiliar with TFTP and have been unable to locate instructions as to how to upload, download and restore the spacfg.xml file. Step-by-step "TFTP for Dummies" instructions would be greatly appreciated.

is your phone provisioned? if Ring Central is provisioning it, they may be overwriting your changes.
you can check by going into the provisioning tab on the phone web gui.
click admin login --> advanced --> voice -->provisioning
look for profile rule. if it has anything but SPA$psn.cfg it is probably provisioned. (especially if it says something like http://provisioning.ringcentral.com )
the profile rule will download a new config file from the server every "resynch periodic" time (3600 sec by default), then if it is different from the current config it will implement and reboot.
So to prevent this, remove the profile rule or set resynch periodic to 0.
or have ringcentral put your changes into the provisioning file.
Most providers have a web 'dashboard' to make changes to the phones they manage.
2 - to reload a config using tftp
set up your tftp, put the file in the tftp root, and set the windows firewall to allow incoming connections to the app (solarwinds, tftpd32, etc), or port 69 UDP
then in the gui of the phone use the resync url to load the config to the phone.
http://ip.of.phone/admin/resync?tftp:////
Note, if your config is in the tftproot, you should not need the / part.

Now. the client is asking for different scenarios, for which i am not getting the idea, how to configure for those....such as.
        1. When Imports & Export Transactions made...how the system will treat those.
       2. The client is holding Long Term Loan from differnent Banks...and on montly basis they are paying the Interest on against those loans.. for this, how the system will consider to trigger from Treasury Module Point of View...

Help required with CSM config?

1. I request help on some pointers to URLs where I could find answers to my questions.
2. Also I request for some CSM specialists to please look at the attached document and comment whether the config looks right for what the customer wants to achieve.
3. I am not sure why the customer wants the .51 server never to be accessed when .50 is up and running. He wants .51 server to be accessed if and only if .50 server is down.

you said the csm is not connected to the server vlan. So, you should not configure a vlan 12 on the CSM. Especially if you want your traffic to go through a firewall. Connecting the csm to vlan 12 would be a way to bypass the firewall.
So, what you need is a route on an existing csm vlan to reach the servers via the firewall.
Then, your customer clearly asked to have .51 as a backup of .50.
So you need 2 serverfarms.
One with onle server .50 and one with only server .51.
You then configure the serverfarm .50 with serverfam .51 as backup.
The 2nd would kick in only if .50 is down.
You need predictor leastconn or roundrobin so destination nating can occur.
The 'replicate' commands are used when you need stateful redundancy. They tell the CSM to replicate the information to the standby.
Finally, bridge mode is not related to the ip addresses used for vip and real.
You are in bridge mode when the CSM is configured with the same ip on 2 different vlans. In this case, the CSM will BRIDGE between those 2 vlans.
The only url pointer I could give is the csm documentation guide. You may want to read it through to get yourself familiar with all the possible functions like backup serverfarm or replicate.

Need Help: ADAWS install, setup, config

Under the 5.0.2 install guide of ADAWS, editing the Web.Config section, supossedly there is an object DirectoryServices.dll. In our box where ADAWS is installed I do not see this object at all, I have search for it but do not see instance of it on this box. Anyone know where I can find this object.
I am about to go to the step of editing the Web.Config and uncomment the line with section name = "system.directoryservices". I am also at that part to supply the PublicKeyToken value (run sn.exe -T system.directoryservices.dll), but I cannot find the sn.exe either.
Can someone help me out.

So, here when I try to maintain the data in PA30 for the staff, it throws an error as : Hard Furnishing Scheme is not available for (employee code) on (date).
Please help out ASAP.

Need help reapplying a RAID0 config, without initializing

Hi Evevyone,
First time here, I apologize if I haven't posted in the good section. Though I'm sure the only people who can answer are here.
I'm using a MacPro with an AppleRaid card, using a RAID0. I do know the implications of using a RAID0 and I do understand that losing a drive results in having to rebuild the RAID from scratch.
However, I'm facing a different problem. I got an error from the RAID Utility, saying that 1 of my drives dissappeared, and got removed. This is impossible, as I was next to the machine when it happened, and I'm 100% sure I never removed a drive.
Inside the RAID Utility, All my drives are shown as good, but the RAID stripe is showing "failing" with 1 drive missing.
So, I was looking for a way to use the terminal, to force my drive to be part of the RAID stripe, without initializing it. OR, to recreate the array from scratch, without initializing it.
It can work, or fail, I just want to be sure I tried everything I could, as so far, the drive doesn't look bad... it looks like it's a configuration problem on the card.

Do you have a dial peer now that sends all incoming calls to Callmanager? If so, just configure a translation pattern in Callmanager to translate the called number to the Unity pilot number. If you have other numbers in place, you can look at the config for these numbers. Another possibility is translating the number at the gateway using a translation rule.

Hi All,
I have an existing Endeca pipeline implementation where we read the data sets (Product Catalog Information) from Oracle database using JDBC adapters. The data set undergoes a series of manipulation until it gets indexed to the Endeca system. We make use of PCI for dimensions and dimension values. However, we now want to extend PCI to also include the Product catalog information. The current implementation also does not make use of CAS adapters to consume the dimensions data in PCI. The next consideration is to implement PCI as close to Out of the Box provisions and standardize it. Therefore we are also considering to implement CAS.
The questions are as below:
1. What are the ideal parameters that should support the use of PCI implementation (Dataset + dimension + precedence Rules + schema information) ? Note: We DO NOT have any product catalog system (like ATG) between database and Endeca.
2. Considering that we do not have any product catalog system to organize and maintain data, how feasible is it to read directly from database through CAS Adapters and process the data ?
3. We also plan to introduce partial update pipeline in future releases. Keeping that in mind should CAS based approach help us to read from a record store at the time of partial updates ?
4.in case we are limiting to a business case of implementing partial updates in the above explained existing design, should a custom CAS approach be a better design ? Custom CAS approach = writing the baseline output data to record store and later referring it at the time of partial updates.
5. Will CAS based approach help to reduce the baseline timings ?
6. What is the best way to export data to record store instance in the above design ? (Record store API / Command line utility / CAS crawl)

Hi Neeraj,
You cam use both PI SLD and Solman Local SLD for LMDB synchronization. Now here you make to make sure that correct ranks are assigned to PI and Solman SLD. With the help of multiple sld, you can remove the cause of concern. Local SLD should always be of solman.
For CR content. that you can do for solution manager system in a click.

in... dont know why....

Pablo,
You won't be able to get BP, SBP and Project/Release information from any Tcode. Whenever security admin creates a role, they assign the role to a Business process, functional area etc. This information comes from Business.
Project/Release field is used to identify the project name for which this role is being created/maintained.
These are role attributes which help in role documenation so business needs to decide about the association.

Help on how to config weblogic 5.1's file encoding or codeset

I have some written chinese characters in my stateless session bean, i got to send
them to a web site through http connection using get method, but chars arrived
at web site are in wrong format, I tried to use new String (msg.getBytes("", "GBK"))
or new String (msg.getBytes("ISO8859_1","GBK")) to transfer but didn't work ,
my java VM's file.encoding = GBK , weblogic server is the same , BTW I wrote
a stand alone application to open a URLConnection and send these chars, it worked,
it just didn't work in my stateless session bean
any help will be appreciated, thanks in advance!!!

I have tuned this parameter, but it is not effective.
if use tomcat or jboss , tune the similar parameter:maxHttpHeaderSize="8192", upload file will be very fast.
