Reg. Hiding of one of the radiobutton field in Transaction CC01

Dear Experts,
My requirement is that i need to modify the SAP Transaction CC01 using Transaction Variant. The client requires one of the radiobutton to be invisible in initial screen of Transaction CC01. Can anyone help me in this regard.

Hi Ramesh,
If you can create another tcode for CC01, like ZCC01 than you can make use of transaction variant.
(I tried in my system but CC01 I was not able to create the Screen Variant, try at your end).
If you want to make use of transaction variant than you have to make another transaction.
If you want to keep your old standard tcode than...make use of implicit enhancement, in the PBO module change the SCREEN propertires by creating an enhancement.Thats the best approach and you u will be able to retain the original tcode as well.

This is a fillable form on a website. We want people to complete the form, then click on the email button to send it to us. Prefer to have the "name" field populate in the "subject line" of the email, and also rename the form that same field name. Is that possible?

If you want to get the Subject from Name field in the form, use some thing like this.

The data is not saved in one of the LOV field

Hi all,
I have two forms in two different pages, both are pretty much identical, except here and there show/hide some of the field and different LOV values. One of the form is working fine, but other form is giving me trouble. There is an LOV in that form, giving and returning proper value. (I checked it with java script alert). But it is not saving in the database. I tried to upload the files to the OTN, but since i could not upload the whole application because of data complexity, I am not able to successfully upload that into the application. (But it is in the Export Repository). As far as I checked, I copied the working form page into not working form page and make the necessary changes. I did not change any property specifically to that field. Any idea what I should be looking into. Thanks.

Thank you very much for your response. I tried what you have suggested. But still it was not working. But what I found out was it is not displaying what I have selected after I press "Save". But it actually saved in the database. So, I kind of getting a little confuse and do more research why it is doing that. Finally I found out the problem is with the datatype. First form has two characters in the return value and this page has only one character. I used CHAR(2) as the datatype for that field and turned out it is appending space at the end since it has only one character. For that I do not see anything on the screen. I changed the datatype to VARCHAR2 and now the problem resolved. Thank you once again for your time.

Including "job title" as one of the default fields for iOS 8 Contacts

For the "Contacts" on my MacBook Pro, I am able to set things up so that, when I add a new entry, "Job Title" appears among the default fields, sparing me from having to go down to "add a field" in order to enter the "jon Title" for that particular entry.
I have not found a may to do such customization on my iPhone 5 with iOS 8.1.1 Can you tell me how to do this? I have looked at Settings for "Mail, Contacts, and Calendars", and under "Contacts" there is no place allowing specification of default contact fields..

When you add a new contact in Contacts scroll down to bottom and select Add Field. Job Title is near the bottom.

How do I get rid of the numbers after the URL when I type one in the search field?

I got an update from Firefox and now every time I put in a URL-- usually to get to Yahoo's home page, I get a bunch of numbers after the url, e.g., www.yahoo.com/01_CJekxpo and the numbers are different every time. What are the Mandatory Fields in Transaction ME51

Hello Seniors,
I have a requirement about purchase order creation. In this process, I am using the BAPI named " BAPI_PO_CREATE1 ". I have passed all the fields but when I debug and look into the internal tables, I couldn't find certain records. I even debugged " bapiret2" and I see an error which reads "" All mandatory fields are missing"". I have even created a PO in ME51 and found out the mandatory fields but in vain. BAPIRET2 still says, there are some more mandatory fields missing. I need to know what are all the mandatory fields to create a Purchase order using TCODE - ME51.

Functionality
Function module BAPI_PO_CREATE1 enables you to create purchase orders. The BAPI uses the technology behind the Enjoy purchase order transaction ( ME21N).
Alternatively, the IDoc type PORDCR1 is available. The data from this IDoc automatically populates the interface parameters of the function module BAPI_PO_CREATE1.
Functionality in Detail
Authorization
The following authorization objects are checked when an Enjoy purchase order is created (activity 01):
M_BEST_BSA (document type in PO)
M_BEST_EKG (purchasing group in PO)
M_BEST_EKO (purchasing organization in PO)
M_BEST_WRK (plant in PO)
Controlling adoption of field values via X bar
For most tables, you can determine via your own parameters in the associated X bar in each case (e.g. PoItemX) whether fields are to be set initial, values inserted via the interface, or default values adopted (e.g. from Customizing or master records) (for example, it is not mandatory to adopt the material group from an underlying purchase requisition - you can change it with the BAPI).
Transfer
Header data
The header data of the Enjoy purchase order is transferred in the table PoHeader.
Item data
The item data of the Enjoy purchase order is stored in the table PoItem (general item data). The delivery schedule lines are stored in the table PoSchedule.
Use the table PoAccount to specify the account assignment information. If account assignments have been specified for services and limits, you show the relevant account assignment line in PoAccount in the table PoSrvAccessValues via the package number of the service or the limit.
Services and limits
Services, free limits and limits with contract reference can be specified in the tables PoServices, PoLimits, and PoContractLimits.
Conditions
Conditions are transferred in the table PoCond; header conditions in the table PoCondHeader. Price determination is reinitiated via the parameter CALCTYPE in the table PoItem.
Vendor and delivery address
The vendor's address can be specified individually in the table PoAddrVendor; the delivery address in the table PoAddrDelivery. If you do not make any individual specification, the fields will be populated via the central address managementfacility.
Note
In this method, the following restrictions apply with regard to addresses:
Addresses can only be created with this method - they cannot be changed. You can only change address data with the method BAPI_ADDRESSORG_CHANGE.
When you create addresses, they are not checked by the method. An Enjoy purchase order may therefore contain faulty address data.
Partner roles
The partners can be maintained individually via the table PoPartner (with the exception of the partner role "vendor").
Import/export data
Import/Export data can be specified per item in the table PoExpImpItem. Foreign trade data can only be transferred as default data for new items.
Texts
Header and item texts can be transferred in the tables PoTextHeader and PoTextItem. Texts for services are imported in the table PoServicesText.
Version Management
You can make use of the Version Management facility via the table AllVersions.
Return
The PO number is returned in the parameter ExpPurchaseOrder. In addition, all information except the service and export/import tables is placed in the output structures.
Return messages
Messages are returned in the parameter Return. This also contains information as to whether interface data has been wrongly or probably wrongly (heuristical interface check) populated. If a PO has been successfully created, the PO number is also placed in the return table with the appropriate message.

2. If you test the BAPIs BAPI_PO_CREATE1 or BAPI_PO_CHANGE in the Function Builder (transaction code SE37), no database updates will be carried out. If you need this function, please take a look at Note 420646.
3. The BAPI BAPI_PO_GETDETAIL serves to read the details of a purchase order. The BAPI cannot read all details (e.g. conditions). However, you can use the BAPI BAPI_PO_CHANGE for this purpose if only the document number is populated and the initiator has change authorizations for purchase orders.

Reg: Loading historic data for the enhanced field

Hello All,
We need to add a new field 0VENDOR to our datasource 0FI_GL_4. This field is available in our BSEG table. Hence, we are planning to go ahead with datasource enhancement.
Now, please advice on how to update the historical data to this newly added field.I have heard there is a BW functionality/program to do so without deleting the entire data. Kindly advice on the possible solutions.

HI Sneha,
Using remodeling option you will be able to do that, ie.. loading historical data for new attributes without deleting existing data. But the problem is in remodeling either you can assign constant or some other attribute value or values determined using EXIT.
Now when you are loading data from source system and if you need historical data as well the best practise is delete existing data and reload it from source sytsem.
But if you don't want to do that then I can give you one trick but not sure whether it will work or not. The idea is to populate the historical values for 0Vendor using customer exit option of remodeling. Now to get the historical values in customer exit you will need all that data in some BW table, here you can think of creating some generic extractor which will store the values of all the documents and the respective vendor, as you will load data form source system you will get historical values as well.
Now read that table in customer exit and populate vendor value. This will be one time process to populate the historical values.

How does one modify the Notes field in a contact already in the address book?

The reason the that the edit button ( - ) top righthand corner had 'disappeared', was that iCloud was enabled but that the Addressbook subsetting under iCloud was set to off in the phone settings.
Changing it to 'on' made the edit button reappear.

But in that transactions underthe lable of storage bin , there are 3 input fields . I want to know the exact table fields for those 3 input screen fields .

You can look to tables EKPO, EKKO for PO-related fields.
Look to SE84 under ABAP Dictionary > Fields > Table Fields - This is search tool for existing names. Or can create custom Y- and Z- fields, data elements, domains to meet your needs.

In KSB1 one of the field is showing up in DEV but not in QA or PRD

One of the standard field which is showing up in DEV but not in QA or PRD. After excuting a transaction KSB1, One can change the layout and add or hide a field from a given options. We can see that field in DEV, but not in QA and PRD. This is a standard report and we checked in table v_tkalv, it is same in DEV and QA

I don't have access to a 6.0 system at the minute, but I'm pretty sure order isn't a standard field in KSB1. It would be in KOB1, of course, but the K*B1 transactions are for displaying actual line items recorded on various kinds of cost objects.
In the reporting scenario, how's the order factor in? Did it receive statistical postings, or something?

Combine docs with same data fields, one overrides the other

Hi all,
I'm hoping someone can help me. My company uses pdf forms where we have to combine multiple pdfs of different people filling in the same base form. When we try to combine them it comes up that one overrides the other fields with the same names. This takes all the information from one form and puts it in what is supposed to be a different form.
The error box that comes up says we must use a PDF portfolio to do this without having the override but the portfolio doesn't work for what we need.
Is there a way around this? We have to use the same form so of course there will be the same field names.

Validate the radiobutton in interactive adobe form

right now iam working on the interactive adobe form where we can see the dropdown boxes and radiobuttons and some of the text fields. okay here i have issues on the radiobuttons to validate some data.
exactly my issue is :
we have 3 radiobutton , if end user select the one of the radiobutton on the adobe form then the value in the drop down boxes will be automatically changes.
how handle this type issues on the adobe form.

I have a standard data source 0CRM_SALES_ACT_1 for which one of the standard field has the status A(Hidden).
In the field selection filed of the table ROOSFIELD and I want to change it to P(Visible) for one of the field in the Data source.
How it can be done. Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

Good Question..Even am also new to this issue.
But let me try to find the solution.
Before lookinto this issue. i need clarification on this.
1. You want to see the value in the text box as a color one or you want to change the disable from true to false?
If that is the case, then following one is my suggestion.
In proceesRequest method
1. get the handle for the messageTextInput Bean and based on that set the disable property to false
for example:
OAMessageTextInputBean t1 = (OAMessageTextInputBean )webBean.findChildRecurrsive("ItemId");
t1.setDiabled(false);
In ProcessFormRequest method
1. get the handle for the messageTextInput Bean and based on that set the style class or css property to "OraFieldText"
for example:
OAMessageTextInputBean t1 = (OAMessageTextInputBean )webBean.findChildRecurrsive("ItemId");
t1.setCss(OraFieldText);
(Or)
If it will not work then directly set the cssClass Property to OraFieldText.
I hope it will work....am not sure about this.

I have a form that requires me to input numbers into the form fields. There are over 700 numbers that need to be inputted into separate fields. The numbers are sequential so if I input “1” in the first field, is there a JavaScript that I can use for the other 699 fields that will add one to the prior field?

Sure, but if the fields are named in a consistent manner, there's a very simple way of doing it using a loop.
Let's say the fields are named Field1 to Field700. Field1 is the editable field, and the rest should be calculated.
You can add this code as the custom validation code of Field1:

this.getField("Field"+i).value = event.value ? (1*event.value)+(i-1) : "";
