Reg: How to get the trip activity values in user exit.

HI Experts,
I have scenario like I need calculate the trip advance amount for an employee.
Based on the employee travel days and employees activity type.
Activity types means: types of employee trips like
1. Domestic
2. International
Here my problem is not getting trip activity values into my user exit.
I am getting the all selection values in trip header except this TRIP ACTIVITY values.
Please give me idea how I can read this trip activity value in to my user exit.
I have written the below code for user exit.
CHECK SY-TCODE EQ 'PR01'.
MOVE TRIP_HEADER TO IT_PTRV_HEAD.
APPEND IT_PTRV_HEAD.
CHECK SY-TCODE EQ 'PR01'.
MOVE TRIP_HEADER TO IT_PTRV_HEAD.
APPEND IT_PTRV_HEAD.

How to get the previoulsy selected value in a combobox. i WANT the current and the previously selected value of the combobox.

Just add to combobox ItemListener. When item is changing in itemStateChanged arrives 2 events. ItemEvent.DESELECTED and ItemEvent.SELECTED with corresponding item's values. Just write something like this:
        comboBox.addItemListener(new ItemListener() {
            Object prevValue;
            public void itemStateChanged(ItemEvent e) {
                if (e.getStateChange() == ItemEvent.SELECTED) {

I am getting the resultset.
I am setting the resultset to the anchor tag.

You have to pass a parameter. An id is good.
Of course you have to get an id from somewhere in the result set right?

request.getParameter("id");
and look up the values related to that id in the database.

First of this not hte mysql or database forum so don;t repeate again.
to get diff between two date in mysql use date_format() to convert them to date if they r not date type
then use - (minus)to get diff.

When and How to get the Text.ScrollPos value of a String control when scroll bar position changed

Hi,
I'm working on a feature triggered by scroll bar position of a string control changed.
But I could not find a good way to catch the scroll bar position changed event,
the scroll bar is controlled manually by mouse down → mouse move → mouse up, I want the get the Text.ScrollPos value when user mouse up, and compare with the maximum value.
But the problem is, mouse up on the scroll bar could not trigger String: Mouse up event!
So I have to get the Text.ScrollPos continuously in the background in Timeout event, but I think it’s not efficient.
Do you have any better idea on when to get the correct destination value of Text.ScrollPos?
I plan to store the value of Text.ScrollPos in the bottom(maximum value) in a shift register, then compare the current Text.ScrollPos value with the max one.
If it comes close to the bottom(90%~100% of the maximum value), then the close to bottom LED will turn on.

I don't think there is any build-in event for this.
One solution would be to create your own user event at the initialisation of you main and launch a thread which is going to be pulling the value of your scrollbar position:
Then you can build your main as if they were a scrollbar move event.
And dont forget to close the thread and destroy the event at the end.

Is it possible to get the fields in to our user exit .....?

 In the user exit some structures are passed as import parameters in the function module. but we want other than those structure fields in to our user exit. that means those fields are dynamically populated in to the transaction.based on those fields we have to trigger one dialog window. so how to get those fields in to our user exit.

But i want these fields ACPOS,WRTTP,BELTP,WRT00 to WRT16. these fields are in PMCO table.but i want these fields before updating the PMCO table,not from the PMCO table. based on these fields we have to trigger user exit.

Please look in to this and let me know how to solve the problem.
1. Check ordertype
 a. If ordertype = REP1 set planned cost limit field to 450
 b. If ordertype = MUT1 set planned cost limit field to 5000
2. Check the planned costs for value category KostenTalis
 Check table PMCO for the order
 i. PMCO-ACPOS = KostenTalis
 ii. PMCO-WRTTP = 1
 iii. PMCO-BELTP = 1
 iv. PMCO-VORGA = KPPP
 v. PMCO-WERT00 -> PMCO-WERT16, check if one of the fields WRT00 till WRT16 is filled with a value
 a. No, exit
 b. Yes, go to 3
3. Are the total costs for Talis > planned cost limit field euro?
 a. No, do nothing and end this user-exit
 b. Yes, show the pop-up and place the total planned costs in the variable <costs>
and already i had given tr and user exit.i think its sufficient to solve the issue.

I have one question about Struts validate framework question is How can i get the request scope values when the validate method throws an exception?
My scenario is I have some values in the request scope in one page. After submitting the page the validate method throws an exception, then the errors were displayed in the page and it ask for provide correct information. However, at this time the values in the first request will become null. How can I get those request values?
Request.setAttribute(�con�, conn);Link after click this link user will display with user reg. form with user details input fields. After submitting he user details form if user provide some invalid information then validate method in Action form will throw errors and displayed the User details form with errors. However, the request attribute �con� will become null at this point of time. How can I get the user request attribute in user details form?
Assume request have more than 100 values.

I have created value field in COPA with KEA6. And now, I need the table which the value fields are saved. Yet, I have tried a lot to find it and get failure? Can any guy help me? Please tell me how to get the table of a value field.
And another question is that, can we extend the technical limits for the number of value field for ECC6.0?

To increase the allowed number of the value fields, increase the value that is assigned to field ikcge-bas_max_cnt (FORM init_ikcge_ke USING fm_subrc, approx. line 165) in Include FKCGNF20. It specifies the number of the possible value fields. The corresponding part of the source code is attached to the note as a correction.

I am struggling to get the list of values for a dynamic parameter of a report.I am using Java Web Services SDK ... I tried to use PromptInfo.getLOV().getValues() method but it does not work.First of all ... is this possible (to get the list of values for a dynamic param) using Web Services?Second of all, if this is possible, how should I do it ... it seems it works fine when running the report from CMC. It asks for DB logon info and after that it provides a list of values.Thx 

Your assumption is correct. We are trying to get the LOVs from the Crystal Report. I was not aware that this is not supported by Web Services SDK.We used Web Services SDK to integrated the Crystal Reports in our web application. We implemented some basic actions for reports: schedule, view instances, run ad-hoc reports.We encountered this problem when trying to run/schedule reports with dynamic parameters (a list of values from DB). We were unable to get the LOVs.Please let me know if you can think of an alternative to look at.Thanks a lot,Catalin

How to get the URL parameter value when navigating from JSP Page to portal

Hi All,
I have web Dynpro application with one button, while clicking that button It will navigate to JSP page as external window. In the JSP page I have a input field and Button.
In the JSP page input field I will enter some values and press submit button, it will navigate to Portal page by passing some URL parameter with values.
Once user entering to portal by default WD page displayed, the same WD page I try to get the URL Parameter which I have passed from JSP page, but I am not able to get the URL parameter value.
If same application running in without portal, I can able to get the URL parameter values. I am getting the URL parameter by interface view default inbound plug parameter.
How do we resolve this problem?

I'm using 10 buttons all are having common action('click'). when i click a button the 'text' value of the button should pass to a function.So the action is same but the passed value will be the 'text' value of the corresponding button. The called function is,

You could peek at the widget indicated in your screen shot, at least when that MDI (?) frame is showing.
The window title at kLayoutPresentationBoss, IID_IDOCUMENTPRESENTATION also reflects the value.
Probably best would be the kLayoutWidgetBoss, with its IID_IPANORAMA, GetXScaleFactor() - and GetYScaleFactor()!!!
I just try to imagine how a document would look if these differ from each other ;-) and, even better, how to achieve that from the UI.
Btw, one notification is on kDocWorkspaceBoss, protocol IID_IWINDOW, command kUpdateDocumentUIStateCmdBoss.
Another one: there is a kDocWindowTitleModifyService ...
Edit: of course I should again mention IID_IPANORAMA, observable from kLayoutWidgetBoss subject.
