Hi all,
I want to Email the Xcelsius dashboard. Whenever the backend data changes ,notification have to send through mail like scheduling the report.
Is it possible to schedule the Xcelsius dashboard?

Unfortunately that is not possible.
Below is what we did for the similar requirement...
--> Developed dashboards in Xcelsius.
--> Published dashboard on the portal.
--> When ever data is loaded in SAP BI, using "Information Broadcasting" an email is triggered to the end users, like "Data is now available for 06/2009"
--> Users access dashboards logging into portal.

I think you can setup the type of email in Shared office Settings in transaction S016.
There is an option called <Preset document classes>
You choose this pushbutton to branch to the maintenance screen for the document classes that are directly displayed to users in the Business Workplace for selection when they use the Create function. The name under which the documents are displayed can also be maintained.

How to send a dashboard in mail ?
Hi Experts,
I have made a dashboard (v 4.1) using the BICS connection and using multiple prompts.
Now, my requirement is :- every month the dashboard should be mailed to an E-mail ID with updated data.
(File type is not an issue .pdf, .swf, etc will be fine.)

Profiles and Publications are key things in this scenario.
In Publication
i)You will Locate the source documents for the publication.
ii)You will select the Dynamic or Enterprise Recipients.
iii)Schedule the publication.
For creating Publication select a Folder where you want to create Publication.
Select New-->Publication.
A Profile defines profile Targets and profile Values.
i)In profile Target you will have to select the Universe Objects on which you want to apply restrictions with the required report.
Eg: Store.storeName and Employee.Store Objects in Universe
ii)Profile Values
Here you will specify how the selected Universe objects has to filter for a specific User or Group
Eg: Steve user etc..

I am showing data into webdynpro table by accessing database. Now i have to send these data through mail to different persons. How can i do it. I tried it by sending the table elements into excel files but i am facing some problems. can it be done through HTML files??

Error while sending PO output through mail in PDF format - Urgent

Developed program to send sapscript output through mail in pdf format, the program running properly, even function module SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 returning sy-subrc 0. But the external mail is not going to user lying in SAP outbox with message <b>"Wait for communications service"</b> . SCOT is properly configured, tested mails sending through SAP office.

A cyclic job runs, which processes the messages seen in the SOST queue.
Are you sure it's not the frequency of the cyclic job, rather than the
number of messages in the queue, that you are observing? In messages
that are queued and before the cyclic job runs, "wait for comm. service"
is the normal status.
If you mean that there are always 4 items queued in SOST regardless of
the cyclic send job, then I have no ideas. I would have thought there
was no way to do that.
when the send job runs it just never
picks them up & sends them, while it picks up many others. The send job
is somehow blind to these; no error message occurs. In this case, I
'delete' them from the queue (in SOST) and then 'undelete' (drop down
menu -> /Go to /Deleted Items) them and then re-queue them. THEN they
actually get picked up & sent when the next cyclic send job executes.

For sending PO via mail, first check if output determintation in properly set in customization settings. Also If you are using customized program for printing, check if code is maintained in program for sending ouput via mails.
If all is maintained in customizing, in PO select output medium as "Mail" and take print. This can also done by using condition records in MN04. Then try sending the output via mail.

How to send files to others mail id when executing the program

I am getting text file from application server and i am sending total text file data into my internal table.
I am checking this internal table data especially material number and customer number with data base tables mara and kna1.If the matnr and kunnr are existing in database successfully means then only i am creating the sales orders for that text file data.if any record out of 10 records is not success means i am not creating sales orders for total text file data.
My error log file as
file name,date time,total no of records,error record no,error description.
one more text file as
file name,date time,total no of records,succesful records , error records.
I am getting these all data into my one more internal table.
I am appending all data into my internal table.
so i want retrieve only last row of data from that internal table.pls guide me how to get last row from the internal table.
these text files i have to send to my user mail id directly when i am executing the program.
any one knows the any function modules to send that text files to perticular mails.pls send the FM's to me.
