Dear all ,
can anyone have idea,
I have done GR against PO , My inspection lot has been created , But there is no stock Posted in the recieving plant.
so can anybody help me in resolving this issue

Dear Sunil,
Now you have to Tcode-QA32
In that input the following
Lot created on-Input the date on which inspection lot was created
In the field "Insp.lot origin"- select- 01
Under List Setting header
click the Radio Button on -Select only inspection lots without a usage decision
Now press F8 or execute
In the subsequent screen You will get the inspection lots created for that day,select the respective inspection lot & do result recording & usage decision,consult your QM consultant for more details on the same
While doing usage decision if you accept the goods then it will be moved from quality stock to unrestricted stock
After that you can check in MD04/MMBE -you can find the stock under unrestricted/blocked(based on the decision you gave in QA32)

In some cases I want to avoid the creation of an Inspection Lot, It can be done by configuration.
How can I do that?.
I was thinking to change the "Status GR Doc." but In the badi MB_MIGO_BADI that field can by changed.

Hi,
Check tcode OMJJ. Set a movement, and go to 'deactivete QM inspection..' and change the flag 'QM not active'. Read the documentation and the help on F1.

Reg inspection lot in Multiple specs

Dear all,
I am trying out Multiple specs scenario. and I have done all the steps while I got a insp lot generated it is in CRTD stage,I want to know although created insp plan why I got the lot in CRTD and how to proceed the lot processing, For IP spec is 10-20 and for BP it is 21-30, insp plan created first then I have done a process order
please give me step by step

Thanks for the response, Yes I am doing Multiple Specifications, although I created insp plan prior to the cycle, insp plan is not getting assigned to insp lot,is it a prerequisite that compulsorily we need to activate check box of material specification in QM view.
please advice step by step

Create inspection lot move data from mseg to qals

hello.
When SAP create inspection lot from MIGO, I need to move mseg-ablad ( uploading point) to qals-yyfield.
In Migo we can have more than one pos, then system create differents inspection lot.
Is it possible ??? are there any user exit to do that ??? i see user migo's exist and inspecion lot's create, but in both cases i don't see all data to read an and move it.

In my case i have Migo with more than one position, and for each position the system will create a new inspecion lot.
Do you mean there are more than one Items in PO and for each Item there will be different inspection lot?
Then,
You need to get Material document number for inspection lot number and get MSEG-ABLAD which will be QALS-YYFIELD (YYABLAD).

Inspection Lot not generated, with MIGO 561

Hello All,
Please help me with this issue.
WHen i do MIGO with 561, inspection lot is not generated.
So there is a setting in spro, if we check that, inspection lot wont be generated.
So now in my IDES, i tried to uncheck that box.
When i save this setting, I get the following error.
"Fill table key for table T156Q only up to position 010".
Please help with this issue.

To load initial inventory in Quality stock and release it using Inspection lot UD, use movement type 563 instead of 561.
With 561 movement stock is directly posted to un-restricted status. So there is nothing to be released from Quality stock.

Inspection lot Error while executing MIGO

Dear SAP Gurus,
I have executed MIGO once for a particular material and vendor, for which i have activated inspection setup in material master. So I have successfully executed MIGO and also lot quantity for required qty in MIGO was listed in stock overview.
Again, when i wanted to do MIGO for same material and vendor, I am get the following error msg: QA228
" No inspection lot can be opened for this material and vendor"

Please cancel the GR, now check the following
1. material master qm view, did you add the 01 insp type, check , check the post to inpsection lot chk box is activated or not.
2. check whether movemnent type 101 is activated for Insp lot creation during GR or not eithr inside QM for logistics or IN Txn OMJJ
3. Ensure You already have the quality plans with Task assigned. Your inspection types should have the characteristcis assigend to it
chk out all once ok then you do the GR

Please find the process steps for your question :
How to prevent MIGO when source inspection lot is rejected
Go to Q-info record (QI02) for that particular material, vendor and Plant combination.
1.Use Inspection Type 0130 for source inspection.
2.Number of days ahead of lot to be created.
3.Through transaction code QI07 run the manual program to create a lot.This source Inspection may be rejected as in your case.
4.Control key contains the control on GR in the QM view of MM.
In the spro>QM>QM in Procurement-->Define Control Key and assign it to MM.
We can define here under Source Inspection Control that in case of GR for rejection-->GR not allowed.
This will prevent MIGO if in case Source Inspection Lot is rejected.

User Exit for MIGO during inspection lot creation

Hi Everyone,
I want to change the vendor number in the inspection lot while doing goods receipt for an outbound delivery in MIGO. Is there any user exit available to do this or can we do this in standard transaction?

1) New Inspection Type Created as SG1 at SPRO->QM->Quality Inspection->Inspection Lot Creation->Maintain Inspection types. The maintenance is a copy of type 01.
2) Assign Inspection Type to Lot Origin at SPRO->QM->Quality Inspection->Inspection Lot Creation->Maintain Inspection Lot Origins and Assign Inspection Types. SG1 is maintained against lot origin 01 with variant 01.
3) Set Default values for SG1 at SPRO->QM->Quality Inspection->Inspection Lot Creation->Define Default Values for Inspection Type with parameters same as for 01.

I have tested it and was working fine till last thursday. I have the above mentioned settings even now in the system. Can there be anything else which the functional consultants would have change that affected the process. Anyways now the inspection lot is not getting created for the Inspection during MIGO and I am really struggling to find the exact reason.

Inspection Lot creation for the 103 movement type

Dear Experts,
we have the requirement of Creating the Inspection lot for the 103 movement type. we have done all the necessary settings for 103 movement type (in OMJJ and under the node Quality Management --> Quality Inspection -->Inspection Lot Creation -->Inspection for Goods Movements) but still I am unable to achieve the results. Same is happening for 105 movements.
Kindly let us know what settings need to be done in order to achieve the same.

Hi,
If you have activated two inspection types (eg 01, 0101) of same inspection lot origin (01), in material master you should have a preferred indicator set for the inspection type for which you want to be selected when you perform goods receipt.
This check box is available in the inspection type set up in the Material master.
Also check whether the post to inspection stock indicator is set for the material (in the inspection type), then only material will be posted to inspection stock.
Please confirm, what happens to the stock after making MIGO. check in MMBE and confirm
Go through the link and maintain the necessary settings. I think default settings for 01 type should work.

Inspection lot creation during STO return

Hello Gurus,
is there a trick to trigger inspection lot creation during STO return ?
Scenario is the following:
1 - Creation of STO
2 - Supplying plant ships materials... stock in transit
3 - Receiving plant receives materials
4 - Materials with defects -> Receiving plant add new line with return tick on the same material
5 - GI from Receiving plant... stock in transit
6 - Supplying plant receives materials -> Inspection lot has to be created
I used inspection type 08 on Receiving plant w/o success.

No inspection lot is created when we return Materials to Vendor (Plant A) even if we maintain Inspection type 02.
Before STO customizing, Plant B creates a subcontracting purchase order. Next Materials are sending to Vendor (Plant A) and put in "Stock provided to vendor" (Transaction ME2O).
Vendor (Plant B) creates a Repair request (Sales document / Transaction VA01). Next run VRRE to reveice Materials to repair. Inspection lot is automatically created. The usage decision triggers the creation of Service order to manage all the repairing flow. Last step is to deliver Materials to Plant A and create Repair invoice.
Repair request supports all repairing flow (inspection lot, service oder...), especialy status (out of warranty or not).
After STO customizing, I expected the following result:
1° - Return STO to Vendor (Plant A) / ME21N with return tick
2° - Plant B ships Materials / MIGO wih 101 (SAP converts in 161)
3° - Stock in Transit
4° - Materials receive to Vendor (Plant B) / VL10B
5° - Creation Inspection lot
6° - UD triggered Service order creation
7° - ...Repairing flow with Service order...
8° - Materials ship to Plant B
9° - Repair invoice
10° - Stock in Transit
11° - Plant B receives Materials
As I said, there are 2 blocking points:
- Inspection lot not created when Vendor receives Materials
- Service order not created automatically (because no Repair request to support inspection lot, service order...)

Inspection Lot Creation after GR

Dear PP/QM Masters,
I have question regarding inspection lot creation after goods receipt.
There will be GR once at the end of the shift with batch number. As batch generated during shift will be different, there will be multiple GR entry. But for every material only one result recording per shift is required and not for all batches generated. So, how to avoid creation of so many inspection lot? Automatic Inspection lot creation is required hence no question of manual creation of inspection lot.
I checked function module QAPP_CUST_IP_CREATE for inspection point functionality but its description You can use the available function module to generate inspection points for the inspection during production already when the inspection lot is created. Can I use function module QAPP_CUST_IP_CREATE for restricting creation of inspection lot after GR?
Request all Masters to help me in solving this.

First of all thanks a lot for your response.
I checked Control Inspection Lot setting but even that can not solve my problem as in our case though GR with confirmation will be once in a shift (though in system shift is not defined) but batches will be different and hence material document will be separate. And requirement is to have single inspection lot per shift even if batches and material documents are separate.
One option is to have multiple line items for GR in MB31 or MIGO or in COR6N. But all this transaction allows only one line item for GR against process order. So, can you suggest any function module or option to have multiple line items for GR.
