Reg KF should not report in thousands

Hi,
I have created a new KF of data type Interger, where it has default lenght of 17/3.
we do not have any control on the length of the KF.
my question when I displaying the output in the data targets I do not want thousands or comma's which separates the numbers.
For Eg : the no is 123456
but in the report it displays as 123.456,000
I need the output should display as 123456
I have checked the infoPackage wherein the Data Separator is , (comma)and
Character Used for Decimal Point is .(dot)
I tried with removing . from the decimal point
but the output it displays is 123.456,000

You can elimanate the decimals by setting "no. of decimal places" to be 0 in keyfigure properties of bex and
Can elimanate the separator for thousands by selecting the format 1234789,00 in "decimal notation" field in "defaults" tab of "su3" transaction.

Or T.code OPK4. Set termination of Order confirmation in case of wrong Goods movement.
- Use User Status .T.code is BS02.

Print button should not perform its action in report previewer

Hi all,
Report version 6i
I am invoking a report from a form , the form has one status field ,the value can be NEW,APPROVED,CANCEL
i just want take the print of the report if the status is approved , in all other cases the print button should be perform its action.
that is , when user tries to print the report , its function should not happen.
Please Guide.

Bit strange requirement. But if you have data in Cube and automatically its will be available for Reporting. unlike ODS, we do not have option of "Automatic request activation".
However on repoeting side, you can restrict the values to # and exclude everything from slection. But not good solution as such.

CO-PA: Quantity should not be display in KE30 reports

Dear All,
In my system CO-PA is activated 2 years back. Costing based & Accounting based OC.
My Client requirement is- Recently we developed few CO-PA reports with number of characteristics, Values flow from SD-->CO-PA is good.
We have some free products. Free products will flow to CO-PA along with Valuated products. Both Free and valuated sales will happen one sales invoice only.
In Sales invoice PR00 will be Zero for Free Products but COGM will be there. COGM is updating from VPRS fine.
Now my requirement is Free products COGM shoud be display in KE30 reports but Quantity should not be Display.
Reason: When i put a formula per packet COGM is Total COGM value/Number of Packets. In this packets free products also there.
So. COGM will wrong due to Free samples packets should not be treated as SALES.
This COGM also add to the valuated products COGM.
So, any one help me in this regard: COGM value related to free products should flow to CO-PA but Quanity should not flow.
And also let me know if Qty flow to CO-PA also no issue but in KE30 Reports,It should not come only COGM value sufficient.

Field should not display in the subtotal row in ALV report after sorting .

we have a requirement, after sorting and subtotaling, the output in ALV is -

if it helps you could create a hierachy. In this way you can define the field catalog for the lines and for the subtotal columns. The only thing is that you would always show the subtotal rows.

Open orders should not update in MD04

Hi, SD gurus,
I have the below requirement,
My business scenario is
when total open sales order quantity crosses a particular number(Ex:1000 Pcs) in a month, after that whatever the sales order we create it should not update in MD04.
Our Business process,
1. Creating a sales order
2. Allocation run (here system will execute Credit check, availability check, and listing an Exclusion etc. here we need to enter sales order no, plant, allocation type)
3. Creating a delivery
4. Invoicing the customer
Note:
Usually when we de check MRP type and allocation in Scheduline category system should not update in MD04, but if we de check this as for our business process system should not execute Allocation run

Field should not display when it is null

Hi,
I am creating a xml report,I dont want to display row when its value is 0.
eg column1 column2 column3 column4 column4
1 ABC BCA 0 0 0
2 XYZ YXZ 0 1 0
So if 1 is not having any value then that row should not display,it should dispaly only row with values as in 2.

Process order should not take part in MRP run

Hello Colleagues
I looking for a way how to exclude not released process orders (we have PP-PI) from MD04 report. Not released process order should not take part in MRP run. I was trying to do it using OPJJ for availability check 02 and checking rule PP but I was not able to get result. Could you please help, probably there are other settings?

Hi,
Settings in OPJJ will take effect only when you create or release process orders.
As a work around you can try to exclude process order is
1. Create a Storage location and make it not relevant for MRP-OMIR
2. In Material master for the material in MRP assign storage location MRP as 1 (exclude storage location stock)
3. Create the process order, in the GR tab enter the storage location (not MRP relevant)
In the MRP run it will not take the process order into account.
After releasing change the storage location to the normal sotrage location.
In this process flow, the control is with the storage location.
Check it in your sandbox.

Thank you for taking out time to help. I have thousands of emails in gmail which I keep on deleting. I have configured thunderbird for this email account and it is sunchronized and upto date. If I delete the emails in gmail now, I do not want them to get disappeared from thunderbird. Basically, whatever the emails I delete in gmail and it's trash should not be deleted from thunderbird. You are remotely viewing the folders and emails on the server.
You subscribe to see folders. but this only downloads emailsheaders and downloads the emails upon selection to a temp cache for viewig. They are not stored in your profile.
If you also synchronise then a copy of the server folder is downloaded and stored in the Thunderbird Profile, but synchronised folders keep synchronising so that the server and TB folders are the same.
IT does not matter whether you delete emails via Thunderbird or webmail, you are deleting from the same folders. So, if you delete off server and then discover it has been deleted from Thunderbird, everything is working perfectly.

Should Not handle large base64Binary data with BPEL?

we need to implement a file saving function. I have no problem to implement the web service with Java class by using MTOM streaming but I question on the best design with BPEL for this or if BPEL should not be used for this at all. Please help.
For the requirement, the file content could be the text entered from a web page or the binary data from any resource such as an existing file or email message body etc, which is not limited. Also the web service would receive the desired file name. But the actual file name should be created by the web service based on the desired file name plus some business rule.
I am thinking of creating a BPEL app for this. The input for the file content is designed to be of type base64Binary so that the application could handle either ASCII or Binary data. In this BEPL app, it needs first to call a web service to get the information where to put the file (this is dynamic) and generate the actual file name and then it calls another web service to save the file with the actual file name and content. I wonder in the case of saving content of big size such as content read from a PDF file, it could cause resource issue due to the dehydration in BPEL. I am not so clear about dehydration. Does that mean when the BPEL invokes the 1st web service to get the information where to put the file, the base64Binary data for the file content would be first saved into the DB (dehydrated)? Would this cause issue? If so, does that mean for this business needs, we should not use SOA, instead, we should just implement it with JAX-WS?

Computers Not reported yet

Hi,
I'm having problems with a WSUS configured on a Windows Server 2012 R2.
The computers take and install the updates but in console they appear as
Not reported yet (different type of operation system - Windows 7, 8, 8.1, Server 2008, 2008R2, 2012 and 2012R2).
I've tried to delete the computers from server, wuauclt /resetauthorization /reportnow but the result was the same.
From all workstation I can access all WSUS related IIS links without any problem.

Yes, on the same server it's installed and configured a SCCM 2012 R2.
Well, that's that then. Configuration Manager Software Updates clients do NOT report to the WSUS server.
From what i've seen reinstalling OS of the system resolves the problem, but this cannot be a solution.
No, it won't, because shortly thereafter ConfigMgr is going to grab ahold of that system again and make it a ConfigMgr client, and disable client reporting to the SUP.
The *solution* is to ENABLE reporting to the Software Update Point in the ConfigMgr SUP Configuration settings.

The server farm account should not be used for other services

I have created a new SharePoint Foundation 2013 Farm. I only used the Farm Configuration Wizard to create the Search Service Application, all other aspects of the Farm was created using PowerShell.
The SharePoint Health Analyzer is reporting the following error:
Title: The server farm account should not be used for other services.
Severity: 1 - Error
Category: Security
Explanation: DOMAIN\FARM_ACCOUNT, the account used for the SharePoint timer service and the central administration site, is highly privileged and should not be used for any other services on any machines in the server farm. The following services were
found to use this account: Distributed Cache Service(Windows Service)
Remedy: Browse to
http://centraladminsite:port/_admin/FarmCredentialManagement.aspx and change the account used for the services listed in the explanation. For more information about this rule, see "http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=142685".
Now I understand how to change the account used to run the Distributed Cache Service, but my query is what account should I use in the least privelage model? I have setup the following 6 accounts as per TechNet guidelines (Link)
and am not sure if one of these accounts should be used or if another account is required:
SQL Server service account
Setup user account
Server farm account
SharePoint Server Search service account
Default content access account
Application pool identity
After reviewing the TechNet article again, I don't fully understand the section titled "Service application accounts". Is the article advising me to create a seperate account for each row in the table? e.g. 1 account for Business Data Connectivity

within the Farm?
Also, what does the article mean when it says "Plan one set of an application pool and proxy group for each service application that you plan to implement."? How do I go about doing this?

Inder: Yes, It is suggested to have multiple service account for each service application. This increases security and dependencyof 1 account on multiple Service applications. Like below
SQL Server service
Local System account (default)
Setup user
Member of the Administrators group on the local computer
Server farm
Network Service (default)
No manual configuration is necessary.
SharePoint Server Search Service
By default, this account runs as the Local System account.
If you want to crawl remote content by changing the default content access account or by using crawl rules, change this to a domain user account. If you do not change this account to a domain user account, you cannot change the default content access account
to a domain user account or add crawl rules to crawl this content. This restriction is designed to prevent elevation of privilege for any other process running as the Local System account.
Default Content Access
No manual configuration is necessary if this account is only crawling local farm content. If you want to crawl remote content by using crawl rules, change this to a domain user account, and apply the requirements listed for a server farm.
Content Access
Same requirement as the default content access account.
Profile import Default Access
Same requirements as server farm.

Inder: Each service account has a application pool and you can plan to use same application pool for multiple
service accounts if required. These application pool are then consumed by proxy connection
of each service application. On service application pool, you can see all the service applications and its proxy connection.

Bug Report: Lr3 does not report error when SDK version is too low.

Lr3 should report an error if SDK is under-version'd. For example, I have this in one of my plugins:
LrSdkVersion = 2.0,
LrSdkMinimumVersion = 2.0, -- minimum SDK version required by this plugin.
If I put Lr3.0 specific stuff in the plugin, Lr3 does not report an error, but it should - otherwise whats the point in specifying a version.
I have to take the plugin into Lr2 to test for inadvertent Lr3 specific inclusion mistakes. Thank goodness I'm not worrying about Lr1...
