We have customised standard logon par file (headeriview .jsp)
Now we have login link in mast head.teh link login is coming as follows
LOGIN_
Could you pelase let me know why this underscore is coming.

Hi Anu,
every link, text or button has a key, which is used in the language property files.
It seems that the key was added or changed to LOGIN_ and so the correct text cannot be retrieved from the property files.

Personalize link in Mast head

Hi ,
Can anyone guide me how to hide the User mapping tab from the user profile page of personalize link available in the mast head.
When the user cliscks on the link personalize in the mast head , he can see the user profile page . I want to hide the user mapping tab from this page .

Hi Siddhart,
The Personalize option is a workset and linked to the Standard User Role.
So just open the standard user role and select the User Profile page which is linked to the Personalize workset.
The "User Profile" object is a Web Dynpro Application. So to customize it you can just press the preview button and in the preview page hold the "Control" key and right click on top of the "User Mapping" tab. You will find the option to hide the tab.
To do this you need to have administrative access.
Since you are changing SAP delivered role, I would recommend copying the role and making the changes to the copied (as delta link) role. You can then assign this role to the end users.
This method is applicable to EP 7.0 and NW 2004s.

Go to Content administration -> Portal content-> Content provided by sap -> End user content->Standard portal users -> Worksets-> Portal personalization to the role of the user
You can also assign eu_role role to that user to enable the personalize link in masthead but this brings iviews too in the content area.

Include link to a workset/page on mast header similar to Personalize Link

Hello,
is it possible to include a link in the mast header like the personalization link to open a workset/page in a pop-up. I looked at the HeaderiView.jsp and for Personlization an Event is raised, but I couldn't find how the Personalize Workset recognizes/subcribes this event.

It is true... NavigationTarget opens an entirely new portal framework. I am trying to dynamically change the portal top level nav, 2nd level nav, and detailed nav based on a link I click from the content area.
For example, this link would be in content area:
http://prh459.pr.us.pri.wyeth.com:50200/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.portal.navigation.portallauncher.default?navigationtarget=roles://portal_content/roles/page/iview..
however...this link opens an entirely new portal framework within the content area...
how do I use this: EPCM.doNavigate "ROLES://portal_content/...
as you state earlier in the post? I would like to not open an entirely new framework within the content pane, but rather open a new iview within the content pane. I would like to also change the 2nd level nav and detailed nav based on the actual iview that is now displayed in the content pane. Since I can physically navigate to the iview, can I dynamically change the portal nav to represent this and place the correct iview in the content pane? ... is this possible? I can do it with NavigationTarget=ROLES://portal_content/ but again, it opens an entirely new portal framwork within the content pane...

Vat Reg. No in PO Header - STCEG

Dear experts,
I have an issue with the VAT Reg. No in the header data of a PO. Fieldname: STCEG.
When creating a PO this field is populated with the VAT Reg. No of my Company Code. However, I want this field to be populated with the Vendor VAT Reg. No from the vendor master record.
Does anybody know where I can maintain this settings? I cannot find it in the implementation guide.

My company code & Purchase organisation is in Netherlands. I have different plants across the europe like Belgium, Germany, France etc.I have activated Plants Abroad Functionality. To create a PO I have a German Vendor,German Plant and Netherland Company Code and Purchase organisation. In FTXP I have created a new Tax code with Reporting country DE(Germany). But the system is not picking the Tax code. My doubt is Is the Field Taxcode will trigger from the Country of the comapny code?
If it is so, Tax code needs to be with Reporting country Netherland. Then I can do the GRN in Germany Plant. Now I need to Transfer the goods from Germant plant to my Netherland plant. what procedure I have to adopt for this transfer, STO needed? If so what are all the movement types I have to Process? for this STO config setting has to be done or not?
During Invoice verification How I can display the My VAT registration Number so that I can show ito my Vendor?.
Is ther any way to get Vendors VAT registration number also in MIRO?
Same while Billing(VF01) to my customer I need to have my Customer's VAT registraion number.
Is ther any possibility to have My VAT registration number in Billing document?

Error while clicking on Login link on SSO home page

Hi,
When I access the SSO home page http://<hostname>:port/pls/orasso and click on the Login link i am getting a error page with following error message
You cannot login because there is either invalid or no configuration information stored in the enabler configuration table (WWSEC_ENABLER_CONFIG_INFO$). (WWC-41439)
This is happening while installing Oracle 10g 10.1.2
Where could be the problem

You need to check whether this function(PunchoutSiteInfoVOImpl.initQuery(Ljava/lang/Integer;)) exist in this class file or not.
Simply decompile PunchoutSiteInfoVOImpl class , check initQuery function exist with parameter Integer.

How to change the OraSSO login link in webcache/load balance

Hi
we have 10gAsR1 installed as a Portal instance. We have 6-server
load balancer => webcache as loadbalancer (listening port 80)
Wb ch1 and wb ch2 => webcache (listening port 7777)
portal1 and portal2 => Portal listening 7778
infra =>Infrastruture with repository Portal/Oracle SSO (listening 7777)
This set up is working fine for our intranet setup, now we need to open this for couple of external clients. Well initially we need to open on the load balancer server on port 80 for external team to access, it works fine when we make it publc access.
Now when we need to make it SSO (siteminder) enables, when users click on login link it first goes oracle sso then it internally redirects the page to site minder sso.
Well, I have noted that the sso server details are mentioned in global setting sso/oid details. Since we need to open this for external client we have to add a DNS entry for this so that we can allow its access over firewall..
Now I have made DNS name change at my infrserver level, now I need to update the change at the load balancer server (where wheb chache is running).
Any one know how to chang the URL at load balancer.
I am struck at this point please suggest how should i proceed..

Link between Delivery Header & Sales Order Item for extraction to 2nd level

I am having a requirement that need to pull the following data to 2nd level DSO
1. Delivery Header Data
2. Sales Order Item data. ( Sales Document, Item, Item RDD, Material)
So I am planning create a 2nd level DSO on top of Delivery header and need to pull the sales order ITEM level data ( Sales document , Order ITEM, ITEM RDD date , Material) through start routine u2026
How can I pull the Sales Order Item data through start routine? i.e I need the link between Delivery Header & Sales Order Item Data .
or I need the link between LIKP ( Delivery Header) Vs VBAP ( Sales Document Item).

Hi Krish,
You can use VBLEN (Sales Document) to link Delivery header DS (2LIS_12_VCHDR) and Delivery item DS (2LIS_12_VCITM). Now In delivery item DS (2LIS_12_VCITM) you have VGBEL (Reference doc.) and VGPOS (Reference item) which is nothing but sales order document number and sales item in Order item DS (2LIS_11_VAITM) .
So you need to link in above way to get other values in your DSO.
It is proven method.

Allt he links in the header of any websites are not working, I reinstalled fiorefix and it s the same. No problem in others browser. the tool bar is working but not the link sinside the web page located between the top 300px height

How to add a link in a header created only of a background image

Hi, I created my website with CSS in Dreamweaver. Here is a sample page:

The header is created with a background image. How do I put in a link in the header that when they click on Ben Franklin Crafts & Frames would take them to the home page? I have nothing to attach my link to?!?!

Putting a clearpixel or transparent.gif over your background image won't work very well if CSS is turned off.
My preference would be to take your Business Name out of the background image and replace it with real text inside an <h1> tag in the foreground - where it will be visible to search engines, screen readers and translators.

How to enable the logo using master head par?

I want to change the logo on the portal page in Master Head
I have downloaded the par file of masterhead and changed required things like added .jar file, image required to show
Then i created the new par file and uploaded the same.
(with another name given for the uploaded par file)
how can i make this par file enabled to show the new logo? in PCD?

You can also use other tools(non-eclipse) to change it.

Login link does not display on website

When I visit www.history.com the FULL ACCESS video login link does not appear at the top of the home page. History.com support says this is because Shockwave flash is not working correctly. I am using Firefox 35 on a Win7 computer. The Shockwave flash plugin 16.0.0.257 is set to always activate. The Flash player help page says that my computer has the latest Flash player installed. The clouds are moving in the test animation indicating Flash is working. Can anyone assist me to get the FULL ACCESS video login to appear at history.com?

O happy day. I found the answer to my problem of the missing FULL ACCESS video login link. The answer is.... (wait for it)... I clicked View on the Menu bar and clicked zoom out and a whole line of links appeared at the top of the page, including the one I was looking for. Why do you suppose the history.com site does not fully display at 100% zoom?

How to create customized link in global header?

SAML2. Add a login link

I have configured a Managed Server for working as a Service Provider.
In the Redirect URIs of my SAML 2.0 Web Single Sign-on Identity Provider Partner I have the URI patterns that I want to secure, when a unauthenticated users tries to access one of these resources is redirected to the IdP login page.
Now I would like to deploy a webapp that allows the users to do a anonymous navigation also adding a classic login or sign in link (like this forum, you can perform anonymous searches and, at any moment, you can sign in to do some actions, reply a thread, consult your control panel...)
I could develop a kind of dispatcher servlet, deploy it with, for example, the context login and add the pattern */login* to the bunch of secured URIs. Sounds a little bit nasty, I guess that it must be a more elegant and efficient way...
Any idea?

Removing customization link from portlet header.

Hi,
Could u suggest me out of the 2 ways to remove customization link from portlet header.I am using the default stock prices portlet in my page.
Where and how should i change the provider.xml file.
If not this how can I setShowEdit(False) which is one of the methods in MutablePortlet interface.How can i find this code related to Stock portlet.I mean where can we have access this code where the provider API's are used for some of the readymade portlets that oracle provides.
I am using release 1 of oracle portal.

Hi,
I see two things that you could try :
first try to set the security level at the portlet level, then allow users to display your portlet, not to customize it. I know it's possible with tabs, maybe it can apply to you.
Else you also can modify the package of your portlet (or the provider.xml file if it's not the package). You should read the pl/sql code and find the variable concerning the customization link in the rendering part. It may be set to 'tru', just set it to 'false' and recompile.
I've done it when installing some portlets and it works : that way I could translate the portlet in franch, remove the help link, remove the detail link, and so on...
