REG manual valuation pop up window in QA32
Hi
I need to know how to stop the pop up window for Manual valuation in QA32. When I do RR for any MIC, a manual valuation window comes for accepting/rejecting the MIC.
My basic setting at plant level for result recording configuration is automatic close, I am not using any sampling procedure and No inspection point is being used. Its a raw material with simple MICs and inspection plan.
Hi,
system asks for manual valuation wherever it does not found valuation mode and valuation mode is defined in sampling procedure.
For that, in MIC,use the control indicator "Sampling Procedure" active. If you activate this control indicator.
Then when you assign the MIC in the inspection plan, the system will ask the sampling procedure, now in that use the sampling procedure which has valuation mode as "Attributive inspection of non-conforming units" or Mean Value within tolerance range".
After that create inspection lot and do results recording, in that case, system wont ask for manual valuation.
Thanks

What is the setting- Pop up window 'Valuation' appears in Results Recording
Hi,
When i am doing Results recording in qa32, after processing all characteristics the status of all characteristics appears '5' but while saving it gives a pop-up window named 'valuation' where under 'valuate inspection point' sub screen field 'valuation' with entry 'Accept' in grey mode appears. Also a tab named 'valuation' appears on the same pop-up window with pencil symbol through with UD can be made in RR only.
What is the setting because of which this pop up window comes while saving the results recording.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Abhijit.HI,
I am using insp. point 200 which have default valuse in valuation tab. In functional module tab no FM are attached.

Everytime I open Safari on my MacBook Pro a pop-up window from my Finder menu, with the Applications highlighted on the left in the favorites column with the Resources folder highlighted comes up and locks my Safari page until I manually close the Resources window then I have to refresh the internet search address line at the top of Safari. Can someone tell me how to stop this. It started after a software upgrade. It didn’t do that before. Thank you.
A few thoughts for diagnosis/testing purposes:
Have you recently run the disk utility and repaired HD and permissions? If not do so.
Boot into the Safe mode - hold down shift key on boot - and see if the problems are still there. Some functions won't work but see if anything odd happens.
Check your startup items. Get rid of them temporarily.
Create a new user account and see if the problems occur with the new account.
Lastly, be sure your backup is up-to-date. -
Allowed Pop Up Windows are Blank
i've only recently encountered this problem in the past month. the sites i know are affected are fanfiction.net and scribophile.com.
fanfiction.net is using a javascript;; for editing a link in one's profile.
scribophile.com is using a php to send a private message: http://www.scribophile.com/dashboard/popups/addprivatemessage.php?userid=17380
in both instances, a new-fangled looking white window pops up. (the fanfiction.net one even resizes itself and has a fancy top border). they are blank, utterly without content. they have a close X in the top corner that does close them. the php one is even blank when i choose to open it in a new tab like a regular page.
i have adblock plus and noscript. although i have tried turning them off for these particular web sites, the pop up windows still come out blank.
i have tried these solutions:
1: disable adblock plus and tell noscript to allow everything on the page(s). this does not work.
2: run firefox in safe mode. the popup windows then DO work.
3: i have gone to the firefox options and created exceptions to pop-up blocking for both sites. no joy.
4: i have gone into the add-on manager and disabled both adblock plus and noscript (but not other add-ons). no joy.
5: i have, one at a time, disabled every other add-on i have. no joy.
it appears to me that it is not actually the add-ons that are causing this behavior. although the windows work in firefox in safe mode, the same cannot be said of manually turning off the add-ons in "unsafe" mode.
is anything else going on in firefox that might be causing this behavior? i don't think it's the pop-up blocker, since the pop-ups DO appear... but no content inside. ugh.# 1: disable adblock plus and tell noscript to allow everything on the page(s). this does not work.
# 2: run firefox in safe mode. the popup windows then DO work.
# 3: i have gone to the firefox options and created exceptions to pop-up blocking for both sites. no joy.
# 4: i have gone into the add-on manager and disabled both adblock plus and noscript (but not other add-ons). no joy.
# 5: i have, one at a time, disabled every other add-on i have. no joy.

Fellow user Grant Bennet-Alder offers this solution:
Some users have reported this problem if the Mail Application has been moved out of the top-level /Applications folder, or duplicated in another location.
When the Security Update is done, the old version of Mail is disabled.
The solution has been to:
1) make certain Mail is in the /Applications folder
2) There is no other copy anywhere else.
3) Once steps 1 and 2 have been done, Manually download and re-apply the Security Update (2012-004) by hand.
Security Update 2012-004 (Snow Leopard)
If the Mail.app has been LOST, it can be re-installed by applying the 10.6.8 version 1.1 combo update. But this update is quite large and it is usually not necessary:

Please help., Hello, I want to make DPS magazin for IOS and Android with a lot of text footnotes. There is about 200 footnotes per article. The idea is to make pop-up windows like in EPUB 3.0. Remember you can only build an iPad app using your Single Edition solution (which is included in your CC membership). So you'd need a Pro or Enterprise version of DPS to be able to create the Android version.
You can create pop-ups in InDesign using the slideshow options and a multi-state object. But it's all manual labour so you'll spend a lot of time on this, also depending on the layout of your design. -
Cant see effect editing pop up window
So I'm using Garageband and this new problem starts happening. When I try to manually edit the settings on an effect (like reverb) there is normally a pop up window. Well, now there isn't as you can see from this screen capture the pop up window called reverb should be in the forefront:
http://angryjim.com/storage/missingpopup.jpg
But it's not. The only time I had a similar problem was when the window was opening so far off the edge of the screen that I didn't see it. I don't think that's the case here. I tried restarting garageband, restarting the computer, even repairing permissions (who knows). I tried resizing the pixels of my screen. no luck.
any ideas??That's really weird. Try the standard remedy for "oddball problems":

Need help with pop up windows!
I'm working on a page that's very long and it has your basic
"click on a small thumbnail of an image and a larger version opens
up in a pop up window". I downloaded a free extension from the
Macromedia exchange called Open Picture Window Fever, but it has a
couple of problems. First, there's no option to center the pop up
window, only dimensions you can manually put in. Plus when you
click on the picture, the new window opens but the original page
with the thumbnails automatically goes to the top when the pop up
opens (this is a problem because the page is very long and the user
would have to scroll back down each time they clicked on an image,
a big pain). The only other option I have is to use the Dreamweaver
Open Browser Image Behavior. The problems with that is that you
have to make a html page for each image, which is a drag. Also, I
can get the pop up window to center with a different extension I
downloaded, but I still have the same problem with the original
page jumps to the top.
What can I do to fix this? Anybody have other ideas or free
extensions I haven't tried yet?> Plus when
> you click on the picture, the new window opens but the

opens
Go to PVII and look for a free extension called Fix Null
Links....
http://www.projectseven.com/
That'll take care of that one.

Go to E. Michael Brandt's site, and examine JustSo Picture
Window. It's
commercial but it's way nicer than PWF, in my opinion....

* You can use swing Dialog component to show pop-up windows in your applet:
http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/uiswing/components/dialog.html
* You can use Netscape's LiveConnect to call JavaScript functions (for example, one showing an "alert" pop-up) from your applet:

My webmail is auto signing me out several times a day, but only on this computer. It's set for 'private', I've uninstalled and reinstalled that program, cleared cache and re-started, same thing with Firefox.
Firefox is also frequently blocking pages from opening that apparently don't exist, and blocking non-existent pop-up windows as well.
Today I got an error message that my sync password was rejected, which is odd since it's set to manually sync and nothing's been changed. All the resets happened days ago. It also wouldn't let me use my password, but let me change it.
Since this is the only computer I'm having the problems on I'm assuming that it's either the version of Firefox that I'm using or something in my computer that suddenly isn't playing nice with Firefox, but I don't know where to start, other than once again un and re-installing it (which did nothing).
Thanks for any help!I kept getting that error message. I thought that since I'm syncing with my corporate email so the calendar syns wirelessly with Outlook, that it was causing a conflict.
I just found this post though, and other people said it worked for them

Can't clean history in MF 23 on Win 7; too smal pop-up window
I use MF 23 on Win 7 at work. I use MF 23 on Win 8 at home. I just noticed I can't clear recent history at work due to the very small pop-up window. I changed the theme but it happened again. I'm sure it works normally at home on Win 8.
The pop-up window that appears at work is as small that the period options are not visible. Also it can't be manually resized. I attach a screenshot:

'''Try Firefox Safe Mode''' to see if the problem goes away. Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most add-ons.
''(If you're not using it, switch to the Default theme.)''
* You can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the '''Shift''' key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
* Or open the Help menu and click on the '''Restart with Add-ons Disabled...''' menu item while Firefox is running.
''Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"''
'''''If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode''''', your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. Please follow the [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] article for that.
''To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.''
''When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help other users who have the same problem.''

How to use one pop up window for multiple buttons and input fields?
Hi Experts,
I have created a pop up window that will be opened from multiple buttons in the same view. There are input fields that the data will be populated from a pop up window. How can I set up which button that a pop up window is opened from? I also would like to populate the data from a pop up window to the input field next to a clicked button. There are 6 buttons and 6 input fields that share the same pop up window. I would very appreciate your responses.
Thank you,
DonHi,
Try creating 2 context attributes, one in your component controller and the other in the pop-up view. Bind the attribute of pop-up view to the component controller attribute.
In the main view, on click of every button set a unique code in the controller's context which helps you in identifying the button clicked. Since u have created a binding to the pop-up view attribute the value flows from the controller.
In the init method of your pop-up view, check the value of the attribute and based on that display which ever UI elements are required.
Eg:
On Button 1 click set value "B1", Button 2 value "B2" etc. In the init() of pop-up view u can check the values and perform the required operation:
if(("B1").wdContext().currentContextElement().getButtonIdentifier()){
else...{
Hope this helps you.
