MY PO QTY IS 1000.I AM DOING INBOUND DELIVERY FOR EXCESS QTY SAY 1500.THERE ARE TWO MESSAGES WHICH ARE TO BE ERRORED ME160,ME161.FOR ME161 CONFIGURATION STEP IS GOTO MM->PURCHASING->ENVIROMENTDATA->MESSAGES.
BUT I AM UNABLE TO FIND THE CONFIGURATION STEP FOR ME160.

This is the standard functionality. ME 160 is hard-coded in
as warnig message in function ME_CONFIRMATION_CHECK_QUANTITY:

REFE1 = EKPO-MENGE - H-AVIMG.

as robdrage says - they will need to send txts, not imessages. And if you have not already done so - log into apple dot com and get to your profile / device list, and remove the phone. If apple thiks the device is active, and the phone number is the same, it will continue to intercept and misdirect messages.

That message is usually due to a bad cable.

Error in GR when delivery qty PO quantity

Hello!
we create NB type POs for inter company transactions. If the PO qty is 10 and we actually deliver 11 (goods issue = 11), we are unable to do the GI against the delivery with the error message that the PU quantity exceeds by 1 unit.
I have checked the vendor master for the supplying plant but unable to find any setting that would enable us to do the Goods receipt in the receiving plant for the actual qty shipped i.e. 11 units. Can someone tell me where this setting is so we don't et this error and can receive the goods against the delivery w/o modifying the PO? We don't want to receive against the PO because that causes imbalance in the quantity and the remaining would remain in MB5T.

This error is due to the fact that the GI qty and the PO qty differance.When you try the delivery at VL10G, or VL10B sytem creates the delivery for the PO qty.and when you try to change the pick qty and do the PGI this error will come.Please check the qty at MMBE for the supplying plant.I do not know why the GI should be more if the PO qty 10.
If you post transactions other than the PO qty delivery completion issues will exists so that the indicator can not be taken.
How ever you post 10qty GI and let the receiving plant receive 11 and change the PO qty to11 and do a delivery for the excess and PGI it.

Bom Component qty & WIP Quantity differ at Trget cost calculation

Dear gurus,
i am facing the problem with WIP at target cost calculation in REM.
My issue is
BOM Component qantity is 9.524 TO and price is 2000 then total cost is 9.521*2000=19048.
but in WIP Report kkas in WIP explation it takes input qty 9.52 T0 and price 2000 then total price is 19040.
Difference is 19048 - 19040 =8
and also when i am issuing actual qty i.e 9.524 in BOM then my price is 19048.00 ant at time of variance calculaton then quantaty variance as 9.52.0-9.524.0=-0.04 then 0.004*2000 =-8
Please suggest solution for this.

Rounding differences between target and actual values and quantities are not unlikely to occur and cannot always be avoided but can be minimized.
Small prices and price unit of 1 are likely to cause more of these rounding differences..
The actual credit is simply calculated as price * quantity. The target credit however is calculated during the variance calculation
and based on the sum of all items in the itemization/cost components of the cost estimate and therefore more accurate.
To avoid this I suggest to store the material price with a larger price unit, i.e. 1000
Std cost release stores price upto 2 decimals and target cost calculation goes upto 3 decimals...

Reg: Message and BPM

I'm having a scenario where i use a JDBC adapter to extract data from a DB. As a result of the query say, 10 rows are returned as message to XI server. I have a transformation (BPM) set and the receiver(target system) is a file. When i open the file to see its contents i can see only the first record been transfered. The mapping part used for the transformation node is having IF condition. But all the fetched records satisfies the conditions in the mapping.
Pls let me know the corrective step.

1)Check the input XML i.e all 10 records are coming into XI . This you can check in SXMB_MONI
2) Then you can test the mapping in the integration Reposiotry .. So now you can get if any mapping problem. For this , check is the occurence of target strcuture is 1..n or 0.n

3) If mapping is correct , then check the RWB->Message Monitoring->Message Display Tool and check the payload.
4) If this is correct, then check the File COntent Conversion of the Receiver File Adapter.

Reg Open sales order item and the quantity

I am getting open sales order item based on inner join of tables(vbak, vbap, vbep). Not using vbbe table in inner join as it doesnt carry all pending open records.
can any one say how open sales order items and their quantity can be retrieved?
I searched forum and saw usage of vbuk and vbup tables, but it does not accomplish our scenario.

1) fetch the header information from VBAK table.
2) Based on VBAK table fetch all the line items from VBAP table.
3) Now fetch from VBFA table.
*-Fetch from VBFA to get the delivered qty
SELECT vbelv               " Preceding sales and distribution document
         posnv               " Preceding item of an SD document
         rfmng               " Referenced quantity in base UOM
    FROM vbfa
    INTO TABLE lt_vbfa
     WHERE vbelv   = gv_vbeln
       and vbtyp_n = 'J'.
4) By comparing VBFA-POSNR just filter the records from the VBAP internal table. Remained lines are open lines of the sales order.

In a process order for a component with batch management if quantity is given in negative and backflush activated,how to carryout batch determination.( I am getting error as batch cannot be determined for - ve quantities)

Hi,
In BOM if the qty is negative, that means its a By Product from the process. That means you are receiving a new batch of the product. here you need to assign (create) a new number for the batch.

It is always not possible to configure a message on your own choice.
ME160 is called at 2 places mainly.
1. FM ME_CONFIRMATION_CHECK_QUANTITY
code is :
MESSAGE w160 WITH refe1 ekpo-meins
here it does not look for customizing.
2. FM ME_CONFIRM_CHECK_QTY_DATE
here also code is same. No way to customize.
MESSAGE w160 WITH refe1 ekpo-meins.
Sorry this is not possible.

Message no. M8420 - Order price quantity leads to incorrect PO history

Hi,
Unable to cancell the invoice, the detail scenario is as below.
Converison factor maintain in the PO is:
73set Quantity = 1 lot which is Order price unit.
PO is rasied for 1 lot.
GR deatil is as below:
first Gr is done for 1 set qunantity = 0.014 lot Opu
Second Gr is done for 1 Set quantity = 0.014 lot OPu
third Gr is done for 71 Set quantity = 0.973 lot OPu
Now if you some the total then it is coming like as below:
GR is done for 73 set quantity = 1.001 lot (it should be 1 lot)
but due to round up the system is taking 0.013 = 0.14
and 0.972 = 0.973 and finally we have .001 more lot in GR quantity.
Invoice detail is as below:
first IV is done for 1 set quantity = 0.014 lot
Second IV is done for 72 set quantity = 1.008 lot
third IV is done for 0.100set (.001lot ) which is the extra amount in GR..
finally the GR amount 73 set and total invoice is 73.100 which is not same.
Now the user want to cancell the third invoice doucment and
get the below error meassge:Order price quantity leads to incorrect PO history
Message No:M8420
Please note that for first and second IV the payment is already done which cannot
be cancell.
Please let me know how to cancell the third IV and how to match the Quantity/Value in GR and IV

When i try to open firefox i get a message that says Windows has encountered a problem and will notify when there is a solution. Then you can click on the explanation and it says DEP will not allow it to open. Can you tell me how to fix this?

I was able to install and have an icon on my desktop. When i click on it it automatically pops a box up that says: Firefox has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. Then it highlights an icon at the bottom to show what the problem is and it is DEP (data execution prevention. I tried a few suggestions there but it didn't work. So it said to see if there is a download version compatable with DEP

I have uninstalled Itunes 10.4 shut down and installed Itunes 10.4 and still get this message on opening? How do i fix this problem?

With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
Copy the SQLite3.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.
Restart the programme all should be well
In case that your OS is (64 bit)
1. Open windows explorer, go to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
2. Copy file "SQLite3.dll"
3. Now paste it in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support
4. Restart the programme, it should not display that message, it should be clear.
