Hi experts ,
can you please explain me the steps , how to add dependent characteristics specs in inspection plan...?
i am unable to create . When i am tryng to add material and customer in EWB against inspection characteristic, i am getting the message
"No valid material routing allocation exists for material (XXXX) Customer ( XXXXX).

Reg: Adapter Specific Attributes

Hi Experts,
My scenario is a File to File and I am using Adapter Specific Message Attributes in it. Things are going fine but when I check directory in ASMA, getting the output file in specified directory and it gets deleted after a while. What might be the reason, please clarify me.
(As my processing mode is Delete at Sender side : If this is the reason how can I manage my scenario)

Hi,
have you used any kind of Background processing for these files on FTP server that might be deleting the files.
Or in Sender FTP adapter you have used any kind of masking for Fiel name. Probably this might be the reason that even after adding teh time-stamp the file might have get deleted.
For time being deactivate the delete feature of sender fiel adapter and try if still the fiels are getting deleted or not.

Reg batch specific serial number

Dear all,
In a process order where serial number is activated for fert material, we want to have batch specific serial numbers for ex if batch no is 100409a1 and it contains 4 items we need the serial numbers as
100409a101, 100409a102, 100409a103, and 100409a104 how to achieve this.

Reg: Display Specification: Header.. TCode: CG02

Hello Guys,
Is there any FM to fetch the "Display Specification: Header" data for any particular material or against the Real substance number.
If you go to transaction CG02 and - for my case i have Real substance number - i put the Real substance number and then put the material number.
In below Property tree you can choose any standard property for that material and double click on it you get Value Assignments if is there any Standard FM then i can fetch the data.

Dear All,
We have created Custom Condition Type and have made the following settings in Tcode M/06 as:
Cond. class: A
Calcul. type: A
Manual Entries: C
Header condition: checked
Delete: checked
Amount/percent: checked
delete from DB: Do not delete (set the deletion flag only)
scale basis: C
In the above configurations, there is no Pricing Procedure maintained for the above condition type. But still i am not able to edit Condition Amount at PO Header level.
Kindly help me and let me know whether i need to do anything, which i missed out.

Reg : Document specific reversal

Hi ,
I have done confirmation in repetitive manufacturing using backflush & auto GR . I wanted to reverse my material document
for which mvt 261 happened . when tried to reverse this material document I am unable to reverse and the system throws
error like this " document is reprocessing document can not be cancelled "
Please suggest me how can I reverse this material document. expecting your earlier reply on this .

1) i suspect already some one has reversed the document & your trying reverse again the same
2) Just check in MF12 or in MB51 to track all the movement types happened for that material

Here's some documentation I am working on for my place of work - hope this helps:
There are two Sun-provided configuration files of note that must be maintained and provided to the SNMP agent program as command line arguments when it runs. They are:
X.acl (subagent access control file, where X is your agent name)
X.reg (subagent registration file, where X is your agent name)
Note: For more information on either of these files, read the Solstice Enterprise Agents User Guide found on the Sun website, but don't expect too much.
The reg file specifies the subagent name and OID tree it is responsible for, among other things.
The acl file contains a list of communities that will be sent traps. This file will need to be periodically updated with the IP addresses of any entity that wants to receive traps from the X subagent. The file looks in part like this:

managers = dv, localhost
trap = {
trap-community = SNMP-trap
hosts = dv, localhost
enterprise="Xenterprise"
trap-num = 1-5
Where "dv" and "localhost" are configured in the /etc/hosts file as IP addresses to send traps to and "Xenterprise" is an enterprise that must be registered EXACTLY as is shown in the /etc/snmp/conf/enterprises.oid file. (Note: Some of the enterprises in this file have spaces within their name. This WILL NOT WORK. So if for some reason, an enterprise you were going to use is "MY Enterprise" you must changes this file because your MIB will not compile with an enterprise with spaces in the TRAP-TYPE declaration.
So, to add a new community, add an argument to the "managers" and "hosts" line in the .acl file and ensure that this reference has its IP address listed in the /etc/hosts file.
Furthermore, in /etc/snmp/conf/snmpdx.acl a comparable entry needs to be added as well. The snmpdx executable is the master agent that the subagent communicates with. It also has an entry in its .acl file as follows:

Using Role as WF Admin for a specific workflow - Reg

HI All,
I am trying to define a WF Admin for a specific workflow. I know we can maintain a USER ID or EXPRESS(WFsyst-agent) or Rule for this in the Version Dependent tab of Basic Data for wflow template.
But, when i give a Role(Custom R:XXXXXXX role), and do the syntax check, it is giving me the following error and am not able to proceed further.
"Organizational object 'R:PR044_TRAVEL_MANAGER' not available".
My guess is the agent that you give here should be an Org. Obj. For ex., when we specify a USER ID, then the Admin for this witem is shown as "ORGUSXXXXX" and similarly when we assign this custom role, may be it is trying to find if this role is an org. obj (which is obviously not) and hence the error.
Have any of you tried this ROLE option here and can you pl explain me what is wrong with my setting.
I'd appreciate your quick response as this is very critical for me.

I thought i had solved it. But, when i am trying now with a role "RXXXXXXX" that is 14 char, its not working again.
Can anybody tell me if there is any limitation on the role name (should start with Y or Z) or char length (14 char or 12..).
Your immediate response is greatly appreciated.

Hey, i just foudn that its the limitation with 12 char ..not Y or Z..and also found this OSS note 860251. It discussed the issue, but not a solution other than choosing a 12 char length for Role name.

Plant specific purchase organization - Reg.

Hi Gurus,
I have one qurrey.
That is "Our client has two company codes 1000 & 2000. In company code 2000, there are 4 plant codes, which is including Head office as one plant.
We created one purchasing organizaton related to company code 2000 as a central level pur. org.
Is it better to create one more purchase organization of each plant specific for carryout purchase activities at plant level.
or can we go for one common purchase groups for all site level procurement.
kindly suggest at the earliest.

Hi,
It all depends on how your business wants it. If they are going to do purchase from all the sites & if they have site specific vendors or if they want different reports of Purchases based on site etc.. then its all advisable to go for plant-specific since it gives a one to one mapping.
where as if your business doesn't do purchases from all the sites or site specific vendors then you can advise to go for Central Purchase.
If you are going for plant specific P.Org then you need to create 4 P.Orgs since you have 4 plants or else 3 if your Head office doesn't procure anything.
Just explain benefits of both the scenarios to business so that they will be clear & can take a decision.

Reg 1099 forms for state specific

For 1099 forms in the HR module, in particular state specific forms, does SAP update the standard form every year if they change, or does a customer need to create a custom form and update the form themselves?

You will have to create the record for State Manually. Create the record for every State where your Retiree resides.
You can copy the layout of HR_F_1099R_TAPE and then create or add another record into it.

When I create purchase order or Purchase requisition, If I select foriegn vendor (Import) in PR or PO any where the word "IMPORT" should print. Pls help me what is the settings

How you are differentiating Local Vendors & Import Vendors, Through Account Group,
If yes, Take ABAPer help and try to get the Account Group description in the PO output..
Alternatively you can get the Country in the PO output, So that if the Country is other than India
you can say it's a Import PO.
Similarly if you are using separate PO Document type then you can get the Document type description in the PO
output..

How to force web start to use a specific private JRE without searching reg

I am trying to make webstart start using a private JRE independent of what JREs are installed on the System. I am installing a private JRE in the users home directory, eg
C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Application Data\APP\jreThen starting webstart by calling:
C:\Documents...APP\jre\bin\javaws.exe http://....jnlpThe problem is javaws.exe always scans the regsitry in builds its own list of installed JREs.
I have tried to solve this by setting USER_JPI_PROFILE env var with my own custom cache location and building a custom "deployment.properties" file with just my private JRE in it, but web start always searchs the registry and find and uses a system JRE over mine.
Any Ideas?

Did you also place a deployment.config file , to point to your deployment.properties file?
In the deployment.properties, specify the location of your custom jre:

Mail can't send email from 123-reg accounts

Hi all,
I've got an issue with Mac Mail can’t send email from 123-reg accounts.
I know there is a lot of articles on simular matters and some I have tried out with no luck, others are just speaking a whole other language.
Any help would be greatly recived, here's my situation below:
Running a iMac 2.8GHz Intel Core i5 on OS X 10.8.3
I’m using 3 accounts on Macs Mail client, one is my iCloud account that is working fine and the other two are my 123-reg accounts that I use for business purposes. I’ve been working like this for a couple of years now and about 6 months ago I upgrade my operating system from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion.
2 or 3 months ago I randomly got a problem where I was unable to send any emails from my 123-reg account, I could only receive emails. I checked my settings and they were all correct and unchanged so I attempted to delete them and recreate the account but with no such luck.
I then decided to check if it was a problem at 123-regs end and attempted to log into web mail. This worked and was able to both send and receive emails so eliminated that possibility.
I also have these accounts set up on my iPhone, so checked if there was any issues and everything was working fine. I then checked my iphone details and made sure the same was on my desktop and still no such luck.
I’ve tried out some of the articles I’ve found on here (the ones written in plain English) still no results. I’m not very IT illiterate and just wondered if anyone else has got any ideas, whether there is something specific with 123-reg accounts and Mac Mail?

Report ID94 specific software registered with Add or Remove Programs = requested software not listed

Our company uses SCCM 2007 and we don't really have an SCCM officer here. I kind of try to get things done by googling a lot but for this i can't find a a solution so i open a thread.
I'm a newbie to SCCM 2007 so I don't know if i'm about to ask a dumb question but here I go.
I'm trying to pull out a report for the count of computers that run a desktop version of our Ticketing Tool.
I found the perfect standard report for this in SCCM 2007 which is: Count of instances of specific software registered with Add or Remove Programs.
in there i have to set two values: 1) the software that i'm willing to count, 2) the collection in which to search.
for value number 2 I have no problems.
my problem is in value number 1. When I click the value button to list all known software, he lists all software in a alphabetic way. problem is that it stops at letter "I"... the software i'm looking for starts with an O so it's not listed.
also if I type the software and then click Values... it replies that it couldn't find the software.
am I doing something wrong?

it sound like you are using the filter option with in the old and "crappy" ASP reports. first you should stop using then and only use the SSRS reports. secondly the filter option will only show the first 1000 rows, there is a reg key to
allow it to show more.

You can't.
They are country specific.
You could get a New Zealand address, then get a credit card that is billed to that address, then set up an account in New Zealand, and as long as you are inside the Borders of New Zealand, then you could redeem the card.
